Uninstallation of Crystal Reports 2008

The following sections discuss the known issues and limitations in Crystal Reports Server 2008.
Uninstallation of Crystal Reports 2008
Issue:
If Crystal Reports Server 2008 co-exists with Crystal Reports 2008 with same set of language packs on a machine, then the uninstallation of Crystal Reports 2008 results in the deletion of non-English resource files of Crystal Reports Server 2008.
Workaround:
Use the Add or Remove Programs option to repair each language pack, so that you can retrieve the non-English resource files of Crystal Reports Server
2008.

Installation of Crystal Reports Server 2008

Issue:
During new installation of Crystal Reports Server 2008, or while upgrading from Crystal Reports Server XI / XI R2, the Installer does not provide the option to configure the IIS (.NET) version of InfoView and CMC Web Application.
Crystal Reports Server 2008 does not support the IIS (.NET) version of InfoView and CMC Web Application; it supports only Java Application Servers such as Tomcat. For the detailed list of supported Java Application Servers, see the platforms.txt document for Crystal Reports Server 2008.
