The PCM1739 is a CMOS, monolithic, integrated circuit which includes stereo 24-bit audio digital-to­analog converters and support circuitry in a small SSOP-28 package. The data converters utilize Burr­Brown’s enhanced multi-level delta-sigma architec­ture, which employs 4th-order noise shaping and 8-level amplitude quantization to achieve excellent dynamic performance and improved tolerance to clock jitter. The PCM1739 accepts industry-standard audio data formats with 16- or 24-bit data, providing easy interfacing to audio DSP and decoder chips. Sampling rates up to 192kHz are supported.
