Installation and starting up
The original package is designed for dispatch by post. Keep it in case you need to return the juicer to the
supplier. Before installing the juicer strictly follow all points of the safety instructions specied above.
After removing the juicer from its package, check that it is in perfect condition and check that no type of material, packaging, guaranty sheet or anything else has accidentally entered inside the motor base body (9) and on top of the juicer, inside the cones (2 and 3), inside the holes of the strainer (5) and inside the juice’s container (6). Keep the plastic bags containing the juicer and its components, away from children: it may cause suffocation. Do not plug in the juicer until it has been correctly and completely assembled and always unplug the juicer after use.
Before use for the rst time, wash all removable components as the lid (1), cones (2-3), strainer (5), juice’s
container (6) and the glass jar (10). Wash with neutral, non-abrasive and non-corrosive detergents, rinse and dry carefully. To remove the dust that may accumulate on the motor base body (9) of the juicer, simply wipe with a dry soft cloth.
After rinsing , remember NOT to rinse the motor base (9) and assemble all the components. Before removing and assembling any part unplug from the socket the plug (7) .
1) Place the juice’s container (6) over the spindle with the spout aligned with the motor base body (9).
2) Position the Stainless still strainer (5) over the juice’s container (6) securing it into place.
3) Position the Juicing Small Cone (3) over the spindle, securing it into place.
4) Position the Juicing Large Cone (2) over the juicing Small Cone (3)
5) Place juicer lid(1) over the body(9).
6) Be assured that the motor base body(9) is in the upright position and the button (8) correctly locks the body itself on the base.
7) Connect the plug (7) of the juicer to a wall socket having the appropriate voltage. The voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the rating plate underneath the appliance.
Never use defective or damaged cables. Never allow parts carrying live voltage to come into contact with water: you may cause a short circuit!!!
(adhere strictly to all points of the safety instructions specied above).
8) Your juicer is now ready to be used.

Advice and recommendations on use
TIPS AND HINTS
Choose fresh fruit that is solid, not soft –it will yield more juice. Always wash citrus fruit before juicing to remove pesticides and residues from handling. Room temperature fruit will yield more juice than refrigerated fruit. Roll fruits on the countertop with the palm of your hand a few times: it helps to increase the juice yield.
Choose oranges, lemons and limes with smooth, brightly colored skin. The best are rm, plump and heavy for their size. Small brown areas on the skin (“scald” spots) will not affect avor or juiciness. Avoid lemons/
limes with hard or shriveled skin.
Grapefruits should have thin, nely textured, brightly colored skin. The thinner the skin, the more juice.
The half-sphere skins that remain after juicing the citrus fruit can be nice containers for desserts such as sorbets. Juice from pink grapefruit contains more vitamin A than from white grapefruit.
BENEFITS
Citrus juice is an excellent source of vitamin C, but the juice begins to lose its vitamin power after squeezing. Fresh citrus juice loses 20% of its vitamin C potency within 24 hours. The best juice is “just squeezed”. Fresh
juice has a lot more avor than the purchased juices and will make your nished recipes more avorful.
OPERATION
1. Place juicer on a clean, dry counter.
2. Remove the lid (1).
3. Select the size of the available large or small cones according to the fruits you intend to squeeze.
4. Slice fruit horizontally.
5. Place center of citrus fruit on the center of the juicing cone. For large and small citrus fruits, place palm of hand over the fruit.
6. Press fruit against cone by using rm steady pressure to activate juicing mechanism.
HANDY HINTS: MOVE THE FRUIT FROM SIDE TO SIDE AGAINST THE CONE WHILST JUICING TO EXTRACT MAXIMUM JUICE. MORE JUICE IS OBTAINED FROM FRUIT JUICED AT THE ROOM TEMPERATURE. ATTENTION: DO NOT PRESS AS HARD AS TO STOP THE MOTOR ROTATION
7. If you remove the pressure, lifting the fruit off the cone, the rotation of the cone will automatically stop.
8. Once you feel the ribs of the cone through the citrus rind, remove from cone and repeat steps 4-5-6 with other part of the fruits.
9. When some fruits have been juiced the strainer will be full of pulp and seed.
10. Remove cones (2 and 3) and strainer (5) and empty and clean the strainer itself from the pulp and
20
seeds.
11. Rinse the components listed at point 10 and repeat steps 4-5-6 until you reach the desired amount of juice.
12. When the juice level reaches the strainer (5) holes means that the juice container (6) is full and should be emptied.
13. How to empty the container(6) from the juice? Very SIMPLE thanks to the Bugatti Pouring Rotation System.
a) Place the Bugatti glass jar(10) aligned with the juice’s container spout (you can use your own glass with a max height of 12,5 cm / 5”). b) You can avoid to remove any component from the top (except the lid 1 and the lid on the glass jar)
c) Press rmly on the button (8) in order to allow the body (9) to rotate (Picture 1)
d) When the Button (8) is pressed, the body (9) rotates by itself for few centimeters (1-2 inches) (Picture 1) e) To pour the juice into the glass jar or your own glass you have to gently lift with your hand the body (9). Do not be too fast in movement in order to avoid splashes of juice (Picture 2)
f) The rotation of the body (9) has a xed end and it permits to pour all juice into the juice’s container (6)
g) According to the quantity you want to pour from the juicer you can place the body (9) in upright position any time by gently move down the body(9) till it is locked on the base. A “click” tells you that the body is
xed in the right position.
h) In case of loss of hand’s grip during the movement of the body (9), a special spring system avoids that the body slams against the arm. In this case the splashes cannot 100% be avoided.

Cleaning and maintenance
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE JUICER WHEN IT IS NOT IN USE AND BEFORE CLEANING. DO NOT UNPLUG THE JUICER BY PULLING ON THE CABLE. DO NOT IMMERSE CABLES, PLUGS OR THE JUICER IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS, EITHER PARTIALLY OR TOTALLY.
1) The juicer must be unplugged from the socket before cleaning. Do not pull on the cable to unplug.
2) You are advised to clean the juicer immediately after use because dried citrus pulp is difcult to remove and
may stain all parts in contact with.
3) By lifting the juice’s container (6) from the body (9), all the used components are out and they can be separated and rinsed.
4) After rinsing the components as large cone (2), small cone (3), stainless steel strainer (5), juice’s container(6), they can be placed on the top shelf of the dishwasher. If a dishwashing machine is used, a LOW TEMPERATURE CYCLE MUST BE USED with very gentle detergent to avoid warp and scratch the plastic parts. The guaranty does not cover the damages caused by choosing wrong washing cycles of the dishwashing machine.
5) Never leave the motor base (9) or the cable with plug (7) wet. Clean the motor base (9) with a soft damp cloth
(such as a micro-ber cloth) and then dry. Do not use abrasive detergents.
6) Place clean juice container(6), strainer (5), cones (3) (2) and cover (1) back on unit.
7) Before using the juicer again, check that all its parts are correctly assembled and perfectly dry, especially the motor base (9).

Check if the plug is well inserted into the socket.
Check if there is electricity in your system.
Verify that all components as cones (2),(3) and strainer (5) are well assembled Be sure that the pressure you exercise on the top of the cone with the fruit is enough to give the signal to the motor to start to work.
When the lock pin is out of the body verify that it is clean and there are no dirty parts that can cause friction with the hole into the body.
