• DO NOT operate the appliance without the cooking grids in place.

• ALWAYS switch off the gas supply to the appliance when not in use.

• ALWAYS store gas bottle upright, even when empty.

• DO NOT use or store gas bottles in direct sunlight.

• DO NOT use if the ambient temperature exceeds 40°C.

• Regularly inspect the hose for any flaws/defects.

• Not suitable for indoor use.

• This appliance must only be used in accordance with these instructions and by persons competent to

do so.

• This appliance is not suitable for use by children.

• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the packaging in accordance to the regulations of

local authorities.

Introduction

Please take a few moments to carefully read through this manual. Correct maintenance and operation of this machine will provide the best possible performance from your BUFFALO product.

Assembly

Remove the appliance from all packaging. and lay the BBQ top carefully on its side.

1. Attach Frame with Wheels

1. Attach the frame to the mounts on the underside of the appliance.

2. Use the a short bolt and nut for each leg. Do not tighten.

2. Attach Frame with Feet

1. Slot the other frame into the recess on the underside of the appliance.

2. Screw the retaining bolt into the recess, fixing the frame in place.

3. Fix Frames Together

1. Cross the frames over. The frame with feet should fit ‘inside’ the frame with wheels.

2. Attach the frames using a long bolt and nut for each, placing a washer between the two frames.

3. Tighten all nuts and stand the appliance upright.

4. Slot cooking grids into place.

Installation

Position on a flat, stable surface.

Gas Regulator

It is essential that the correct Gas Regulator is attached to the appliance. The regulator included is correct for the country of sale.

If the regulator needs to be replaced for any reason, contact your supplier or a qualified gas engineer.

Connect Gas Supply

1. Attach the hose to the regulator, (if included separately) or ensure the connection is secure if already

attached.

2. Attach the regulator to the gas bottle. Tighten the nut securely.

3. Turn the gas supply on low and ensure there are no leaks.

4. Turn the gas supply off when the check is complete.

Note: Ensure the legs are orientated correctly (see image). Failure to do so results in the appliance sitting at an angle.

WARNING: This appliance is designed to work with Propane gas only. DO NOT attempt to operate this appliance with any other form of gas.

WARNING: If a leak is found DO NOT use the appliance. Turn off and disconnect from the gas supply and consult a qualified technician.

Operation

Ensure the frames are securely fixed to the appliance and the gas is connected correctly.

Tu r n O n

1. Press in and turn the Power knob to the ‘Max’ position. Keep the knob pressed in.

2. Press and hold the red Ignition button until the gas ignites.

3. Keep the Power knob pressed in for approximately 10 seconds before releasing, to ensure the gas

supply stays lit. look through the viewing pane if necessary.

4. Adjust the power to the desired level and allow to preheat for approximately 5 minutes.

5. Cook on the BBQ as required.

Turn the knob fully clockwise.

Changing Gas Bottle

When the gas bottle needs changing:

1. Ensure the gas supply is turned Off at the bottle AND on the appliance.

2. Unscrew the regulator from the bottle.

3. Remove the empty bottle and replace with a full one.

4. Reconnect the regulator, ensuring the connection is secure.

The appliance is fitted with castors for ease of movement.

Note: If the gas does not ignite after 5 seconds turn the appliance Off and leave for approximately two minutes before trying again.

Note: Ensure the gas supply is completely lit through the viewing pane. If not turn Off the gas and start the process again.

WARNING: Parts of the appliance become very hot during use. BUFFALO recommend the use of suitable protective gloves and utensils when cooking.

Note: Always turn Off the gas supply at the bottle as well as on the appliance.

WARNING: Wait approximately10 minutes after turning Off the appliance before relighting.

Note: Always allow the appliance to cool, then turn Off and disconnect the gas supply before transporting.

Storing

The appliance can be collapsed for ease of storage. To collapse the appliance:

1. Remove the cooking grids.

2. Carefully place the appliance on its side.

3. Unscrew the retaining bolt.

4. Collapse the frame with feet first, followed by the frame with wheels.

5. Fold the frames flat against the underside of the appliance.

6. The appliance is now ready for storage.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

• BUFFALO recommend that the appliance is serviced annually by a qualified technician to ensure

continual safe operation.

• Always allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.

• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance.

• DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or pads.

•Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

• The hose has an operational life of 3-4 years. Replace by the date printed on the hose.

• A BUFFALO dealer or qualified technician should carry out repairs if required.

Note: Always allow the appliance to cool, then turn Off and disconnect the gas supply before storing.

WARNING: The appliance is heavy. It may require two people to handle it.

Note: A

ll repairs and servicing in the UK must be carried out by a CORGI registered fitter. BUFFALO recommend that similarly accredited professional bodies are used for countries outside of the UK.

Note: Regularly inspect the hose for evidence of splitting or damage. DO NOT use the hose if any damage is found. Replace a damaged hose before using the appliance.

Montage

Haal het apparaat uit de verpakking en leg de barbecue voorzichtig op zijn zijkant.

1. Bevestig de wieltjes aan het frame

1. Bevestig het frame aan de bevestigingsstukken aan de onderkant van het apparaat.

2. Gebruik voor elke poot een korte bout en moer. Niet geheel vastdraaien.

2. Poten aan het frame bevestigen

1. Schuif het andere frame in de opening aan de onderkant van het apparaat.

2. Schroef de borgmoer in de opening om het frame op zijn plaats te bevestigen.

3. De frames aan elkaar bevestigen

1. Kruis de frames over elkaar. Het frame met de poten dient 'in' het frame met de wieltjes te passen.

2. Bevestig de frames met behulp van een lange bout en moer voor elk frame, en plaats hierbij een

ringplaatje tussen de twee frames.

3. Draai alle moeren goed aan en zet het apparaat rechtop.

4. Schuif de roosters op hun plaats.

Installatie

Plaats op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.

Gasregelaar

Het is essentieel dat de juiste gasregelaar aan het apparaat wordt bevestigd. De meegeleverde regelaar is de juiste voor het desbetreffende land van verkoop.

Wanneer u om welke reden dan ook de regelaar moet vervangen, neem dan contact op met uw leverancier of een vakkundige gasinstallateur.

Gastoevoer aansluiten

1. Bevestig de slang aan de regelaar (indien afzonderlijk meegeleverd) of controleer of de reeds

gemonteerde aansluiting correct is.

2. Bevestig de regelaar aan de gasfles. Draai de moer goed aan.

3. Zet de gastoevoer op laag en controleer of er geen lekken zijn.

4. Draai na de controle de gastoevoer uit.

Opmerking: zorg dat de poten juist staan (zie afbeelding). Doet u dit niet dan kan het apparaat scheef komen te staan.

WAARSCHUWING: dit apparaat is ontworpen uitsluitend voor gebruik met propaangas. Probeer dit apparaat NIET met een ander soort gas te gebruiken.

WAARSCHUWING: Vindt u een lekkage, gebruik het apparaat dan NIET. Zet de gastoevoer uit, koppel het apparaat los van de gastoevoer en neem contact op met een vakkundige installateur.

Werking

Controleer of de frames goed aan het apparaat zijn bevestigd en of het gas juist is aangesloten.

Inschakelen

1. Druk de Power-knop in en draai deze naar de stand 'Max'. Houd de knop ingedrukt.

2. Druk en houd de rode ontstekingsknop ingedrukt totdat het gas ontsteekt.

3. Houd de Power-knop gedurende ongeveer 10 seconden ingedrukt alvorens deze los te laten om er

zeker van te zijn dat de gastoevoer aangestoken blijft. Kijk indien nodig door het kijkglas.

4. Zet de sterkte op het gewenste niveau en laat het apparaat gedurende ongeveer 5 minuten

voorverwarmen.

5. Barbecue zoals u wenst.

Uitschakelen

Draai de knop volledig naar rechts.

Gasfles vervangen

De gasfles vervangen:

1. Zorg dat de gastoevoer zowel op de gasfles ALS op het apparaat is uitgedraaid.

2. Schroef de regelaar van de fles.

3. Verwijder de lege gasfles en plaats een nieuwe volle gasfles.

4. Sluit de regelaar opnieuw aan en controleer de juiste bevestiging.

Tr an s po r t

Dit apparaat is uitgerust met zwenkwieltjes zodat het gemakkelijk te verplaatsen is.

Opmerking: wanneer het gas niet binnen 5 seconden wordt ontstoken, zet dan het apparaat gedurende twee minuten uit en probeer het vervolgens opnieuw.

Opmerking: controleer via het kijkglas of het gas volledig aan blijft. Is dit niet het geval, zet dan het gas uit en voer opnieuw het proces uit.

WAARSCHUWING: onderdelen van het apparaat worden zeer heet tijdens het gebruik. BUFFALO raadt het gebruik van geschikte veiligheidshandschoenen en hulpmiddelen aan bij het barbecuen.

Opmerking: draai altijd de gastoevoer zowel op de fles als op het apparaat uit.

WAARSCHUWING: wacht ongeveer 10 minuten na de uitschakeling van het apparaat als u het apparaat opnieuw wil ontsteken.

Opmerking: laat het apparaat altijd eerst afkoelen en koppel vervolgens de gastoevoer los om het apparaat te vervoeren.

Opbergen

Voor extra opberggemak kan men het apparaat dichtklappen. Het apparaat dichtklappen:

1. Verwijder de roosters.

2. Leg het apparaat voorzichtig op zijn zijkant.

3. Schroef de bevestigingsbout los.

4. Klap het frame met de poten eerst in, gevolgd door het frame met wieltjes.

5. Klap de frames vlak tegen de onderkant van het apparaat.

6. Het apparaat kan nu worden opgeborgen.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud

• BUFFALO raadt aan het apparaat jaarlijkse door een vakkundige monteur te laten onderhouden om een veilige werking te waarborgen.

• Laat het apparaat altijd afkoelen voordat u met het schoonmaken begint.

• Gebruik voor de reiniging van het apparaat warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek.

• GEEN schurende reinigers of schuursponzen gebruiken.

• Na reiniging goed drogen.

• De slang heeft een technische levensduur van 3 tot 4 jaar. Vervang de slang vóór de op de slang gedrukte vervaldatum.

• Eventuele reparaties moeten door een BUFFALO vertegenwoordiger of een vaktechnicus worden uitgevoerd.

Opmerking: laat het apparaat altijd eerst afkoelen en koppel vervolgens de gastoevoer los om het apparaat op te bergen.

WAARSCHUWING: Het apparaat is zwaar. Er zijn misschien twee personen nodig om het apparaat te verplaatsen.

Opmerking: alle reparaties en onderhoud moeten in het Verenigd Koninkrijk door een CORGI-geregistreerde installateur worden uitgevoerd. BUFFALO raadt aan dat men in landen buiten het Verenigd Koninkrijk ook vergelijkbare professionele organisaties gebruikt.

Opmerking: inspecteer regelmatig de slang op de aanwezigheid van barsten of beschadigingen. Gebruik NOOIT beschadigde slangen. Een beschadigde slang dient u altijd te vervangen voordat u het apparaat weer gebruikt.

Montage

Sortez l'appareil de son emballage et posez soigneusement le dessus du barbecue sur sa tranche.

1. Fixation du cadre à roulettes

1. Fixez le cadre aux éléments de montage situés sous l'appareil.

2. Utilisez un boulon court et un écrou par patte. Ne serrez pas les écrous.

2. Fixation du cadre à pieds

1. Insérez l'autre cadre dans l'encastrement du dessous de l'appareil.

2. Vissez le boulon de fixation dans l'encastrement, pour fixer le cadre.

3. Assemblage des cadres

1. Croisez les cadres. Le cadre à pieds devrait s'insérer " dans " le cadre à roulettes.

2. Fixez les cadres à l'aide d'un ensemble boulon long et écrou par cadre, en veillant à placer une

rondelle entre les deux cadres.

3. Vissez les écrous et mettez l'appareil debout.

4. Insérez les grilles de cuisson.

Installation

Placez l'appareil sur une surface plane et stable.

Régulateur de pression du gaz

L'appareil doit obligatoirement être raccordé au Régulateur de pression du gaz qui convient. Le régulateur livré avec l'appareil est adapté au pays de vente.

Si, pour une raison quelconque, le régulateur doit être changé, contactez votre fournisseur ou un ingénieur gaz qualifié.

Raccordement à la source d'alimentation en gaz

1. Raccordez le tuyau au régulateur de pression (s'il a été livré séparément) ou, si le régulateur est déjà

monté, vérifiez l'intégrité du raccordement.

2. Reliez le régulateur à la bouteille de gaz. Serrez bien l'écrou.

3. Ouvrez le robinet du gaz au minimum et assurez-vous de l'absence de fuites.

4. Fermez le gaz après avoir effectué la vérification.

Remarque : veillez à bien orienter les pattes (voir illustration), pour éviter de déstabiliser l'appareil.

ATTENTION : cet appareil a été conçu pour ne fonctionner qu'au propane. N'ESSAYEZ PAS d'utiliser cet appareil avec un autre type de gaz, quel qu'il soit.

ATTENTION : en cas de fuite, N'UTILISEZ PAS l'appareil. Fermez le gaz, débranchez l'appareil de l'arrivée du gaz et adressez-vous à un dépanneur qualifié.
