What is B T Access Ma nager?
BT Acce ss Manage r allows you to c onnect you r laptop to th e Interne t using Ethe rnet, Wi- Fi,
inclu ding your BT Busin ess Hub, BT Wi-*a nd the BT Mobile Broadba nd network (4G , HSPA, 3G,
GPRS ). *Ethern et and Wi-F i connecti ons not avai lable on Mac.

i. If you ’re in ran ge of a Wi-Fi ne twork, y ou can connec t using Wi- Fi.
Please note: Wi-Fi c onnecti ons not avail able on Mac.
ii. If you are o ut and about i n an area with a m obile sign al, you can con nect to the B T Mobile net work.
Eith er way it will on ly take a few mi nutes.
Connect using Wi-Fi (not available on Mac)
1. Make sure you’r e in range of a Wi -Fi signal. T his could be f rom
your BT Busines s Hub (or similar wir eless route r) or a BT Wi-
hots pot, for ex ample. If co nnectin g to a private W i-Fi signa l
ensur e the route r is switche d on and work ing. Make a not e of
the Wi reless Ne twork Name ( SSID) and W ireless K ey. This may
be foun d on your rout er.
2. Double cli ck the BT Access Manager icon on yo ur deskto p –
when the circular dashboard screen appears, click on the
central button to connect.

1. Make sure you’r e in an area whi ch has a mobile s ignal.
2. PC users: Double click the BT Ac cess Manag er icon on you r desktop. W hen BT Acce ss Manager s tart s
and ini tialises t he USB Modem , click on the M obile icon to est ablish a BT M obile conne ction.
