When using the product, all instructions and basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
Read all instructions before using the product:
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock: Always unplug this product
from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before cleaning.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:
1) The product should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from electrical
outlet when it is not in use and before putting on or taking off parts.
2) Do not operate under blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
3) This product is not intended for children, ensure that they do not play with the product.
4) Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by any person who is an
invalid, handicapped, or with any form of physical, sensory or mental incapability and
with limited experience and knowledge of the product.
5) Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

13) To disconnect, switch off all controls and remove plug from electrical outlet.
14) Do not stand on or in the product. Use only while seated.
15 ) Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over insensitive
skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by
incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
This product is designed for home use
and not for commercial purposes.

• When using the uPhoria Massager
in a cold room, do not increase the
room temperature abruptly. It is
recommended that you increase
the temperature gradually.
• If the uPhoria Massager is brought
into a warm environment from a
cold place where it was stored,
wait for one hour before use
as there may be water droplets
on mechanical parts due to
condensation. Using it under such
condition may result in malfunction.

of the uPhoria Massager, do not
operate it without carefully reading
this operation manual.
• Do not use the uPhoria
Massager continuously for more
than 15 minutes at a time as this
may result in excessive stimulation
and adverse effects.
• Do not use the uPhoria Massager
when the fabric cover is torn.
• Do not use the uPhoria Massager
with other therapeutic equipment
or electric blanket, etc.
• Do not stand or sit on the uPhoria
Massager. Use the uPhoria
Massager only while seated.
• Do not use the uPhoria Massager
an hour before or after mealtimes
as this may have an adverse effect
on the user.
• Do not use the uPhoria Massager
when your body is wet.
• Do not operate the uPhoria
Massager with wet hands.
• Do not perform continuous
massage on the same spot of your
body for more than 5 minutes at a
time as this may result in excessive
stimulation and adverse effects.
• Do not insert any object or
flammable material into the uPhoria
Massager. This may result in electric
shock, malfunction or risk of fire.
• Stop using immediately should you
experience any discomfort.
• Do not cover the uPhoria Massager
during operation. This may result
in a rise in motor temperature and
subsequent malfunction or fire.

• The suggested usage duration is
15 minutes. Ensure that the
uPhoria Massager rests for 10
minutes before it is being used
again as continuous usage over
a long period may activate its
overheat protection device.
Instances when the uPhoria
Massager should not be used
In any of the following events, please
switch off the main power immediately
and disconnect the power cord from the
electrical outlet. Contact Brookstone
Customer Service at 800-846-3000.
• Water is accidentally spilled onto
the uPhoria Massager. This may
result in electric shock.
• Fabric cover is torn and the internal
components are exposed.
• Abnormal or severe pain is felt
during massage. Stop usage
immediately and consult
your doctor.
• Detection of any malfunction
or any other abnormal condition
during operation.
• Power failure. Injury may
occur when power is
restored unexpectedly.
• Lightning storm.
Assembly and repair
of the uPhoria Massager
• Do not disassemble the fabric cover
of the uPhoria Massager. Touching the
internal components of the uPhoria
Massager may result in malfunction
or an electric shock.

Things to note about the
power plug and cord in case of
malfunction or electric shock
• Check that the Alternating Current
(AC) voltage corresponds with the
specifications indicated for the
uPhoria Massager.
• Do not connect or disconnect the
power plug from the electrical
outlet with wet hands.
• When disconnecting the power
plug, pull it by holding the plug,
not the cord.
• Although the operation will be
stopped automatically by the Auto
Timer function, always remember to
switch off the Main switch after use.
• Do not place the power cord under
heavy objects.
• Do not wind the power cord around
the uPhoria Massager.
• Do not operate the uPhoria
Massager if it has any damage
or a modified cord.
• Do not use the uPhoria Massager
if the electrical outlet is loose.

Preparation before use
Moving the uPhoria Massager
• Lift the uPhoria Massager by
holding onto the two sides of the
handles (Fig 1).
• The uPhoria Massager must be
completely lifted off the floor when
moving from one place to another.
Do not drag the uPhoria Massager.
• Practice good lifting body posture
when moving the uPhoria Massager
to protect your back.

• Ensure that the power cord is not placed
under the uPhoria
Massager.
• Always place the uPhoria
Massager on
an even, non-slip floor. For floors that
may be easily scratched, you may place
a mat under the uPhoria
Massager.
Caution
To change angle position
of the uPhoria Massager
• Turn the Lock Lever clockwise to
unlock the uPhoria Massager as
shown (Fig 2).
• Gently rotate the uPhoria Massager
to your desired incline position.
• Turn the Lock Lever counter-
clockwise to lock the desired
position.

Operation
To switch on the power
• Connect the power plug to the
electrical outlet.
• Turn on the Main switch located at the
lower back of the uPhoria
Massager
(Fig 3). The Power LED indicator on the
control panel will be illuminated (Fig 4).

To start the auto massage program
• Place your legs into the uPhoria
Massager (Fig 5).
• Press the [
] button and the
massage will begin at “Relax”.
• Press the [
] button again and the
massage will switch to “Reflexology”.
• Press the [
] button again and
the massage will switch to “Sleep”.
• Press the [
] button again and the
massage will switch to “Toning”.
• At each press of the [
] button,
the corresponding LED light will
be illuminated.
• Press the [
] button again
to stop the massage program.
• Press the

the corresponding LED light will
be illuminated.
• Press the [
] button again to stop
the massage program.

Glide & Knead massage programs
at any time during operation.
To start the Vibration Massage
• Place your legs into the uPhoria
Massager (Fig 5).
• Press the [
] button and the
vibration massage will begin at
“Auto” mode.
• Press the [
] button again
and the massage will switch
to “Hi” speed.
• Press the [
] button again
and the massage will switch
to “Lo” speed.
• At each press of the [
] button,
the corresponding LED light will
be illuminated.

to stop the massage program.

the vibration massage programs
at any time during operation.
To end massage
• Press the [ ] button on the Control
Panel at any time to stop the massage,
the gliders and kneading discs will
complete their last cycle before
returning to their storage positions.
To start the Heat function
• Place your legs into the uPhoria
Massager (Fig 5).
• Press the [
] button and the Heat
function will begin. The LED light
will be illuminated.
• Press the [
] button again to stop
the Heat function.

Operation
• Some users may experience
itchiness on their feet during and
after the massage. This is an
acclimation effect of the body
to the vibration massage.
Note
• In the event of power failure, switch
off the Main switch and disconnect
the power cord to prevent any
sudden operation if the power is
restored unexpectedly.
• Do not stand or exert excessive
pressure on the uPhoria Massager.
This may significantly slow down or
stop the motor, potentially causing
overheating and subsequent
damage to the uPhoria Massager.
• There is an Auto-Timer of 15
minutes for all massage modes.
• After each 15 minute usage,
ensure the uPhoria Massager rests
for at
least 10 minutes before starting
the next session. If the uPhoria
Massager is operated consecutively
for a period of time, it may activate
the overheat protection device and
stop operating automatically.
If the uPhoria Massager stopped
operating due to overheating, wait
for the temperature to cool down
approximately 30 minutes before
you begin again.
• Press the
[ ] button to terminate
the massage if you experience any
discomfort. The massage will stop
immediately
, the gliders and
kneading discs will complete their
last cycle before returning to their
storage positions.

Storing the uPhoria Massager
• Keep the uPhoria Massager clean
and away from places of high
humidity.
• If the uPhoria Massager is not to
be used for a long period of time,
cover the uPhoria Massager with
a dust cover and unplug its power
plug from the electrical outlet.
Cleaning the uPhoria Massager
• Before cleaning, ensure that the
Main switch is turned off and the
power plug is disconnected from
the electrical outlet.
• Wipe off dust and dirt from the
uPhoria Massager after each use
with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not store the uPhoria Massager
under direct sunlight or in places of
high temperature.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning
agents like benzene or thinner to
clean the uPhoria Massager.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems with the operation of the uPhoria Massager, please check the
following points to see if they can be rectified. If the uPhoria Massager still malfunctions or
does not work, please turn off the uPhoria Massager and remove the power plug from the
electrical outlet. C

Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the uPhoria Massager yourself. Doing so will
void the warranty and Brookstone will not bear any responsibility for any subsequent
consequences.
• Motor sound during operation.

One (1) Year Limited WarrantY
Brookstone® warrants this product against defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal use
for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (“Warranty Period”).
If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Brookstone will
either 1) repair the defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or 2) replace the
product with a new product that is at least functionally equivalent to the original product, or 3) provide
a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the original product. A replacement product or
part, including a user-installable part installed in accordance with instructions provided by Brookstone,
assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a product or part is exchanged, any
replacement item becomes your property and the replaced item becomes Brookstone’s property.
When a store credit is given, the original product must be returned to Brookstone and becomes
Brookstone’s property.
Obtaining Service: To obtain warranty service, call Brookstone Limited Warranty Service at
1-800-292-9819. Please be prepared to describe the product that needs service and the nature of
the problem. A purchase receipt is required. All repairs and replacements must be authorized in
advance. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary. You are responsible for delivery
and the cost of delivery of the product or any parts to the authorized service center for replacement,
per our instructions.
Limits and Exclusions: Coverage under this Limited Warranty is limited to the United States
of America, including the District of Columbia and the U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico,
and the U.S. Virgin Islands. This Limited Warranty applies only to products manufactured for
Brookstone that can be identified by the “Brookstone” trademark, trade name, or logo affixed to
them or their packaging. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any non-Brookstone products.
Manufacturers or suppliers other than Brookstone may provide their own warranties to the purchaser,
but Brookstone, in so far as permitted by law, provides these products “as is.” This warranty does not
apply to: a) damage caused by failure to follow instructions relating to product’s use or the installation
of components; b) damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, floods, earthquake or other external
causes; c) damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Brookstone;
