battery precautions
• Dispose of old batteries properly. Do not dispose of old batteries in a fire.
• Do not leave batteries where a young child or pet could play with or swallow them. If the batteries are swallowed, contact a physician immediately.
• Only use fresh batteries. Do not mix new and old batteries as the old ones may leak.
• Batteries may explode if mistreated. Do not attempt to recharge or disassemble the batteries.
clock precautions
• To optimize performance, keep the unit out of close proximity to other air sensor clocks, electromagnetic wave devices, such as microwaves or cellular phones, and electronic devices.
• This unit contains a sensor that controls the mode change and LED backlight. If the battery power is weak, the sensor will not work properly.

1. Do not immerse the unit in water. If you spill liquid on it, dry it immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
2. Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust, temperature or humidity which may result in malfunction, shorter electronic life span, damaged battery or distorted parts.
3. Do not tamper with the unit’s internal components. Doing so may cause unnecessary damage. The unit contains no user-serviceable parts.
4. Read the instructions thoroughly before operating the unit.

InsertIng the BatterIes
1. Turn the CLOCK BOTTOM counterclockwise and remove.
2. Remove the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER.
3. Insert three AAA batteries (not included) according to polarity indicators inside the compartment.
4. Replace the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER.
5. Replace the CLOCK BOTTOM and turn it clockwise to tighten.
settIng the tIme
1. Remove the CLOCK BOTTOM and slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position.
2. Press MODE until the Time screen displays. The blue LED backlight illuminates for approximately four seconds.
3. Press and hold SET. The hour blinks on the display.
4. Press Or press and hold
5. Press SET again. The minutes blink on the display.
6. Press Or press and hold
7. Press SET again to save your time selection.

selectIng 12- or 24-hour mode
While in the Time screen, press or to select either 12- or 24-hour mode. If 12-hour mode is selected, PM displays for the afternoon/evening hours. AM does not display for the morning hours.
settIng the date
1. Remove the CLOCK BOTTOM and slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position.
2. Press MODE until the Date screen displays. The orange LED backlight illuminates for approximately four seconds.
3. Press and hold SET until the year starts blinking on the display.
4. Press Or press and hold

5. Press SET again. The month blinks on the display.

When the alarm sounds, the purple backlight also illuminates. Press any button to shut it off.
Note:
The alarm and backlight shut off automatically after one minute.
To deactivate the alarm, from the Alarm screen, press and hold two seconds. disappears from the display. Press and hold or for two seconds to reactivate the alarm. reappears on the display.

When the alarm sounds, touch the top of the unit to shut it off. appears. Press any button to shut the alarm off so it no longer sounds.

1. Remove the CLOCK BOTTOM and slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position.
2. Press MODE until the Timer screen displays. The green LED backlight illuminates for approximately four seconds.
3. Press SET. The minutes blink on the display.
4. Press Or press and hold
or incrementally until the desired minutes display (0-180).

5. Press SET again. The seconds blink on the display.
6. Press Or press and hold
or incrementally until the correct seconds display (0-59).

7. Press SET again to save your timer selection.
8. Press or to start the timer.
9. When the timer alarm sounds, press any button to shut the alarm off, otherwise the alarm will stop automatically after one minute.
Note:
• The maximum countdown time is 180 minutes and 59 seconds.
• To deactivate the timer during countdown, press the Timer screen. Press
or to reactive the timer.

VIewIng the temperature
Slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position and press MODE until the Temperature screen displays. The red LED backlight illuminates for approximately four seconds.
locKIng the modes
To lock the modes so they cannot be changed accidentally, slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position.
resettIng the clocK
selectIng celsIus (°c) or FahrenheIt (°F) For temperature
While in the Temperature screen, press or to toggle between °C and °F.
Reset the clock if you want to clear all clock functions.
To reset the clock, insert a thin pointed object into RESET.
changIng the modes on the dIsplay
There are two ways to change between modes:
• Slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “On” position and press MODE until the desired mode displays.
• Slide MODE LOCK ON/OFF to the “Off” position and push the clock repeatedly until the desired mode displays.
Note: It takes approximately one second for the sensor to reset between modes.
