OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AND
INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS OWNER’S MANUAL
BEFORE OPERATING UNDERWATER FISHING LIGHT.
Step 1: Attach a fishing weight to weight
snap on bottom of fishing light to submerge
in water. Using lighter weight will allow you to
adjust the depth of the fishing light.
NOTE: Weight required to fully submerge
fishing light in water:
Model 800-1516-0 - 4 oz.
Model 800-1518-0 - 8 oz.
Step 2: Tie the security line to weight snap
loop on bottom of fishing light. Run the
security line along the 16’ light cord
and secure in various places using
plastic tie wraps.
WARNING:Always use security line and
plastic tie wraps to secure fishing light to
boat or dock. Battery clips attached to battery
terminals will not secure fishing light.
Step 3: Turn engine off before placing light in
water. To activate, connect red clip to positive
(+) battery post, then connect the black clip
to negative (–) battery post, chassis or
engine block.
WARNING: If boat is an inboard, the blower
must be activated to remove combustible
fumes prior to connecting light.
WARNING: Keep battery clips dry and out of
water at all times.
Step 4: Lower fishing light into water to
desired depth, secure light to boat or dock
using the security line.
Step 5: To deactivate, remove black clip from
negative (–) battery post, chassis or engine
block, then remove the red clip from positive
(+) battery post.
WARNING: Do not attempt to make your
own repairs or adjustments.
Helpful Tips
• Cover the battery clips with a light coating
of marine grade grease to help protect
metal parts from corrosion.
• Hang your fishing light above picnic table,
campsite or work area for use as an area
light. Green light will not attract bugs.
• Keep battery clips dry and out of water
at all times.
• Do not operate fishing light if there is
water in the globe or if the light bubbles
when placed in water. Fog inside the
globe without the presence of water is
normal.
• Do not allow children to handle or
operate this fishing light.
• Do not operate in close proximity of
combustible or flammable materials.
• Do not attempt to operate fishing light if
cord, plug, bulb, lens or any part of the
light is damaged or corroded.
• Prior to connecting the fishing light to a
battery of an inboard boat, the blower
must be activated to remove
combustible fumes.
• Always use the security line and plastic
tie wraps to secure the fishing light to
boat or dock. Battery clips attached to
battery terminals will not secure the
fishing light.
• Do not attempt to make your own
repairs or adjustments.
• Do not use this product for other than
its intended use.
