Achtung

Batterien

Zwei 1,5 Volt Mignon-Batterien.
Für optimale Leistung Alkali-Mangan­Batterien verwenden (Typ LR 6, AM 3, MN
1500 oder size AA alkaline, z.B. Duracell

®

).
Diese Batterien gewährleisten eine Rasier­leistung von ca. 60 Minuten.
Batterie-Abdeckung (6) wie dargestellt
um 90° nach hinten drehen (c). Batterien
polrichtig gemäß Markierung einsetzen.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Batterie­fach trocken und sauber ist, bevor Sie die
Batteriefach-Abdeckung wieder schließen.

Rasieren

Die integrierte Schutzkappe (4) wie darge­stellt (a) drehen, bis sie über der Batterie­Abdeckung einrastet (b). Schalter (3) zum
Einschalten hochschieben.

Langhaarschneider

(nur bei Modell M-90)
Der ausfahrbare Langhaarschneider (5)
dient zum kontrollierten Konturenschnei­den und zum Trimmen von Haaransätzen
(e). Für den Einsatz des Langhaarschnei­ders schieben Sie ihn nach rechts und
schalten das Gerät ein.
Nach Gebrauch wieder zurückschieben.

Reinigung und Pfl ege

Für die optimale Rasierleistung sollte der
Rasierer nach jeder Rasur gereinigt wer­den:

Reinigung unter Wasser
Rasierer einschalten und den Scherkopf
unter fl ießendes, warmes Wasser halten (f).
Gelegentlich Flüssigseife verwenden. Den
Schaum gut abspülen und den Rasierer
noch einige Sekunden laufen lassen. Nach
dem Ausschalten die Scherfolie (1) wie dar­gestellt abnehmen (g) und trocknen lassen.
Bei häufi ger Reinigung unter Wasser soll­ten Sie gelegentlich einen Tropfen Leicht­maschinenöl auf der Scherfolie verteilen.

Trockenreinigung
Scherfolie (1) abnehmen und leicht aus­klopfen. Klingenblock (2) gründlich mit dem
Bürstchen (7) reinigen (i). Die Scherfolie
darf nicht mit der Bürste gereinigt werden.
Nach jeder Reinigung die integrierte
Schutzkappe (4) wieder um 180° über den
Scherkopf drehen, bis sie einrastet. In die­ser Position ist der Rasierer automatisch
gegen unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten
(z. B. auf Reisen) geschützt.

Änderungen vorbehalten.

Verbrauchte, leere Batterien und
das Gerät gehören nicht in den
Hausmüll. Bitte geben Sie diese bei
einem Braun Kundendienst oder
entsprechenden Sammelstellen ab.

Garantie

Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses
Gerät – nach Wahl des Käufers zusätzlich
zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsans­prüchen gegen den Verkäufer – eine
Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum.
Innerhalb dieser Garantiezeit beseitigen
wir nach unserer Wahl durch Reparatur
oder Austausch des Gerätes unentgeltlich
alle Mängel, die auf Material- oder Her­stellungsfehlern beruhen. Die Garantie
kann in allen Ländern in Anspruch genom­men werden, in denen dieses Braun Gerät
von uns autorisiert verkauft wird.

Von der Garantie sind ausgenommen:
Schäden durch unsachgemäßen Gebrauch
(Knickstellen an der Scherfolie, Bruch),
normaler Verschleiß (z.B. Scherfolie oder
Klingenblock) sowie Mängel, die den
Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des
Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen. Bei
Eingriffen durch nicht von uns autorisierte
Braun Kundendienstpartner sowie bei
Verwendung anderer als Original Braun
Ersatzteile erlischt die Garantie.

Warnings

This appliance is not intended for use by
children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, unless they
are given supervision by a person
responsible for their safety. In general, we
recommend that you keep the appliance
out of reach of children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

This appliance is suitable for use
in a bath or shower.

Batteries may leak if empty or not used for
a longer time. In order to protect you and
the appliance, please remove batteries in a
timely manner and avoid skin contact
whilst handling leaking batteries.

Batteries

Two 1.5 volt batteries.
For best performance, use alkaline
manganese batteries (type LR 6, AM 3, MN
1500 or size AA alkaline, e. g. Duracell

®

).
These batteries provide a shaving capacity
of approx. 60 minutes.
To open the battery cover (6), turn it 90° as
shown in (c). Insert batteries with the poles
in the direction marked. Before closing the
battery compartment, make sure the cover
is dry and clean.

Shaving

Turn the twisting protective cap (4) (a) until
it clicks in place as shown (b). To switch the
shaver on, push the on/off switch (3) up.

Long hair trimmer

(M-90 model only)
Use the extendable long hair trimmer (5) for
exact trimming of side burns and mous­taches. To operate, slide the long hair
trimmer to the right (e) and turn on the
appliance. After use, slide it back until it
engages.

Cleaning and maintenance

For optimum shaving performance, clean
the shaver after each use:

Cleaning under running water
Turn on the shaver and hold the shaver
head under warm running water (f). You
may also use liquid soap. Rinse off all foam
and let the shaver run for a few more
seconds. Then turn it off and remove the
shaver foil (1) as shown (g) and let it dry.
If you often clean your shaver under
running water, put a drop of light machine
oil onto the shaver foil.

Cleaning with the brush
Remove the shaver foil (1) and tap it gently
against a fl at surface. Then thoroughly
clean the cutter block (2) with the brush (7)
as shown in (i). Do not clean the shaver foil
with the brush as this may damage it.
After cleaning, turn the twisting protective
cap (4) 180° to cover the shaving head.

In this position, the on/off switch is
automatically locked to avoid accidental
operation of the shaver (e. g. when
travelling).

At the end of their life, empty
batteries and the appliance
should not be thrown away with
general waste or rubbish. Please
dispose of them at a Braun Service
Centre or at an appropriate local collection

point.

Guarantee

We grant a 2 year guarantee on the
product commencing on the date of
purchase. Within the guarantee period we
will eliminate any defects in the appliance
resulting from faults in materials or
workmanship, free of charge either by
repairing or replacing the complete
appliance at our discretion.

This guarantee extends to every country
where this appliance is supplied by Braun
or its appointed distributor.

This guarantee does not cover: damage
due to improper use, normal wear or use
as well as defects that have a negligible
effect on the value or operation of the
appliance.

The guarantee becomes void if repairs are
undertaken by unauthorised persons and
if original Braun parts are not used.

To obtain service within the guarantee
period, hand in or send the complete
appliance with your sales receipt to an
authorised Braun Customer Service
Centre (address information available
online at www.service.braun.com).

For UK only:

This guarantee in no way affects your
rights under statutory law.

For Australia & New Zealand only:

Warranty

In Australia, our goods come with
guarantees that cannot be excluded
under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for
compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are
also entitled to have the goods repaired
or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does
not amount to a major failure.

The benefi ts given by this warranty are
in addition to other rights and remedies
of the consumer law.

This appliance is also covered by a
24 Month Replacement Warranty
commencing on the date of purchase

(Our Warranty).

Our Warranty applies in all States and
Territories of Australia and in New
Zealand and is in addition to any
mandatory statutory obligations
imposed on Procter & Gamble Australia
Pty. Ltd., its distributors and its
manufacturer. Our Warranty does not
purport to exclude, restrict or modify
any such mandatory statutory
obligations.

Our Warranty only covers defects in
the appliance resulting from faults in
workmanship or materials. Therefore, if
your appliance becomes faulty as a result
of faults in workmanship or materials, it will
be exchanged by your retailer, on
presentation of proof of purchase.

Our Warranty only applies to domestic or
household use of this appliance and the
warranty will only apply if the correct
operating instructions included with this
product have been followed. For any
appliance replaced under this warranty,
Our Warranty ends on the expiry of the
warranty period that applied to the original
appliance.

Our Warranty does not cover:

A. Damage arising from improper use

or operation on incorrect voltages.

B. Breakages to shaver foils, glass

jars, etc.
C. Normal wear due to moving parts.
D. Repairs undertaken by

unauthorised service personnel or

use of non genuine parts.
E. Appliances that are outside the

warranty period or are not faulty.

This appliance is not intended for use by
young children or infi rm persons without
supervision. Young children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.

If the appliance is powered by a cord
extension set or electrical portable outlet
device these should be positioned so they
are not subject to splashing or ingress of
moisture.

To the extent permitted by the laws of the
Commonwealth of Australia and New
Zealand and applicable laws of a State or
Territory of Australia, and without affecting
any mandatory statutory obligations
imposed by law, Our Warranty is given in
exchange for any other rights you may
have against Procter & Gamble Australia
Pty. Ltd. or its distributors or manufacturer,
whether at law, in tort (including
negligence), in equity or under statute.

Please retain proof of purchase of this
appliance. If you have any questions in
relation to Our Warranty, please call our
Consumer Service line (see below for

If you intend to make a claim please

information about your claim and any
costs associated with claiming under Our
