Charging
Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5 °C to 35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or at all under extreme low or high temperatures. Recommended ambient temperature for shaving is 15 °C to 35 °C. Do not expose the shaver to temperatures higher than 50 °C for extended periods of time.
Using the special cord set (6), connect the appliance to an electrical outlet with the motor switched off.
When charging for the first time or when the appliance is not used for a few months, leave the appliance to charge continuously for at least 8 hours.
Once the appliance is completely charged, discharge it (until empty) through normal use. Then recharge to full capacity. Maximum capacity will only be reached after several charging/discharging cycles.
A full charge provides at least 40 minutes of cordless operating time. This may vary depending on the hair you are trimming.
If the rechargeable batteries are discharged, you may also use the appliance by connecting to an electrical outlet via the special cord set.
Charge indicator
The charge indicator integrated in the on/off switch (4) shows the charging status of the batteries. During charging the symbol in the on/off switch lights up permanently green. When the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator turns off.
General hair cutting information
The hair should be clean, well combed, tangle-free and dry.
If you are not used to clipping hair, begin with a higher setting and then
reduce the setting to avoid cutting more hair than desired.
Use a slow and controlled movement. Do not force the clipper through the hair faster than the clipper can cut it.
In between, shake or blow off the hair from the clipper. If too much hair is caught in the distance comb, remove it.
To control your progress during clipping, regularly comb the hair in the style desired.
