Lesen Sie bitte vor der ersten Anwendung die Gebrauchsanweisung sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie sie auf.

Braun Silk·épil 5 wurde entwickelt, um die Entfernung unerwünschter Härchen so gründlich, behutsam und leicht wie möglich zu machen. Da die nachwachsenden Härchen zart und weich sind, entstehen keine Stoppeln mehr.

Achtung

•Aus hygienischen Gründen sollten Sie das Gerät nicht gemeinsam mit anderen Personen benutzen.

•Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Spezialkabel mit integriertem Netzteil ausgestattet. Es dürfen weder Teile ausgetauscht noch Veränderungen vorgenommen werden, da sonst Stromschlaggefahr besteht.

•Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Spezialkabel.

•Hat das Gerät die Markierung

492, kann jedes Braun Netzteil der Codes 492-XXXX verwendet werden.

Informationen zur Epilation

Bei allen Formen der Haarentfernung an der Wurzel kann es zum Einwachsen von Haaren oder zu Hautreizungen (z.B. Brennen, Rötungen, Jucken) kommen, abhängig auch von Ihrem jeweiligen Hautund Haartyp. Das sind normale Reaktionen, die auch rasch wieder abklingen. Sie können jedoch stärker auftreten, wenn Sie zum ersten Mal epilieren oder wenn Sie empfindliche Haut haben.

Falls diese Hautreaktionen nach 36 Stunden noch anhalten, sollten Sie Ihren Arzt um Rat fragen. In aller Regel nehmen die Hautreaktionen und das Schmerzempfinden nach mehrmaliger Anwendung deutlich ab. Es kann vorkommen, dass sich die Haut durch das Eindringen von Bakterien entzündet (z.B. wenn das Gerät über die Haut gleitet). Eine gründliche Reinigung des Epilierkopfs vor jeder Anwendung reduziert weitestgehend dieses Infektionsrisiko.

Falls Sie Zweifel haben, ob Sie dieses Gerät benutzen sollen, fragen Sie bitte Ihren Arzt. In folgenden Fällen sollten Sie das Gerät nur nach ärztlichem Rat anwenden:

–bei Ekzemen, Wunden, entzündeten Hautreaktionen wie Follikulitiden («Eiterknötchen») und Krampfadern

–im Bereich von Muttermalen

–bei Schwächung der Abwehrkräfte Ihrer Haut, die auftreten kann bei Diabetes, Schwangerschaft, bei Vorliegen des Raynaud Syndroms, bei Blutern, Candida oder bei Immunschwäche.

Einige praktische Tipps

Wenn Sie bisher noch nicht epiliert haben oder nach längerer Pause wieder mit dem Epilieren beginnen, kann es kurze Zeit dauern, bis sich Ihre Haut an die Epilation gewöhnt hat. Der zunächst stärker empfundene Zupfschmerz wird bei wiederholter Anwendung deutlich geringer, denn die Zahl der zu entfernenden Haare nimmt ab und die Haut gewöhnt sich an die Epilation.

Die Epilation ist leichter und angenehmer, wenn die Haare die optimale Länge von 2 bis 5 mm haben. Sind die Haare länger, empfehlen wir, zunächst zu rasieren und nach einer Woche die kürzeren, nachwachsenden Haare zu epilieren.

Am besten epilieren Sie beim ersten Mal am Abend, damit eventuelle Hautrötungen über Nacht abklingen können. Um

die Haut zu entspannen, empfehlen wir die Verwendung einer Feuchtigkeitscreme nach der Epilation.

Es kann vorkommen, dass dünne nachwachsende Härchen nicht an die Hautoberfläche gelangen. Die regelmäßige Verwendung eines Massageschwamms (z. B. nach dem Duschen) oder eines Körper-Peelings hilft, das Einwachsen von Härchen zu verhindern. Damit wird die obere Hautschicht entfernt und feine Haare können an die Oberfläche gelangen.

Vorbereitende Schritte

•Ihre Haut muss trocken und fettfrei sein.

•Stellen Sie stets sicher, dass der Epilierkopf (2) sauber und mit einem Aufsatz (1) versehen ist.

•Um einen Aufsatz zu wechseln, drücken Sie die seitlichen Rippen und ziehen ihn ab.

•Um den Epilierkopf abzunehmen, drücken Sie die Entriegelungstaste (5).

Kühlhandschuh für optionale Hautkühlung

Wenn Sie anfangen zu epilieren oder empfindliche Haut haben, raten wir Ihnen, den Kühlhandschuh (9) zu verwenden, der auch von Dermatologen zur Reduzierung von möglichen Hautreizungen empfohlen wird.

•Das Gel Pack sollte min. 2 Stunden im Gefrierfach oder in der Kühltruhe (***) gelegen haben (am besten Gel Pack dort aufbewahren).

•Gel Pack unter die transparente Folie des Handschuhs schieben (nur mit Handschuh verwenden).

•Transparente (kalte) Seite des Handschuhs auf das Bein legen.

•Kühlen Sie zunächst ca. 30 Sekunden; bei Bedarf Kühlzeit verlängern.

•Die gekühlte Hautpartie sofort epilieren.

•Kühlund Epiliervorgang wiederholen, bis das gesamte Bein epiliert ist.

•Darauf achten, dass die Haut während der Epilation immer trocken ist.

Wichtig: Den Kühlhandschuh maximal

2 Minuten auf einer Körperpartie aufgelegt lassen. Vor Sonnenlicht schützen. Ein defektes Gel Pack nicht mehr benutzen und im Hausmüll entsorgen. Nicht anwenden bei Kälteüberempfindlichkeit, Kälteallergie, Sensibilitätsstörungen der Haut, Herzund Kreislauferkrankungen oder arteriellen Durchblutungsstörungen.

So epilieren Sie

Der Epilierkopf (2) sorgt mit seiner Close-Grip Technologie für noch mehr Gründlichkeit speziell bei kurzen Haaren. Die 40 Pinzetten halten permanent engen Kontakt zur Haut und entfernen sogar Härchen, die so klein wie ein Sandkorn sind. Der Schwenkkopf passt sich perfekt der Körperkontur an und sorgt damit für maximale Gründlichkeit.

Der Massagerollen-Aufsatz (1a) stimuliert Ihre Haut und sorgt so für eine extra sanfte Epilation.

1Einschalten

Drehen Sie den Schalter (4), um das Gerät einzuschalten:

Position «I» = extra sanft Position «II» = extra effizient

Solange das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, leuchtet das Licht (3) und hilft Ihnen, auch feinste Härchen zu entdecken und gründlich zu entfernen.

2So führen Sie das Gerät über die Haut

•Straffen Sie die Haut während der Epilation mit Ihrer freien Hand.

•Achten Sie darauf, dass die Pinzettenwalze direkten Hautkontakt hat.

•Führen Sie das Gerät langsam, gleichmäßig und ohne Druck mit der Schalterseite gegen den Haarwuchs. Da die Haare nicht immer in eine einheitliche Richtung wachsen, kann es hilfreich sein, das Gerät in verschiedenen Richtungen über die Haut zu führen, um ein optimales Ergebnis zu erzielen.

Die Massagerollen stimulieren und entspannen die Haut mit ihren pulsierenden Bewegungen. Das macht die Epilation angenehmer.

•Wenn Sie sich an die Epilation gewöhnt haben, können Sie den Massage-Aufsatz (1a) gegen den Aufsatz für optimalen Hautkontakt (1b) tauschen, der für eine ideale Anpassung in allen Anwendungszonen sorgt.

3Epilation der Beine

Epilieren Sie von unten nach oben. Bei der Anwendung an den Kniekehlen muss das Bein immer gestreckt sein.

4Epilation von Achselbereich und Bikini-Linie

Speziell für diese Anwendung wurde der Aufsatz für empfindliche Stellen (7) entwickelt, der auf den Epilierkopf (2) aufgesetzt wird.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese Bereiche besonders schmerzempfindlich sind. Daher empfehlen wir, mit Stufe «I» zu beginnen. Bei wiederholter Anwendung wird das Schmerzempfinden nachlassen. Vor dem Epilieren sollten Sie den

entsprechenden Bereich gründlich reinigen, um Rückstände zu entfernen (z.B. Deodorant), und dann mit einem Handtuch trockentupfen. Bei der Anwendung im Achselbereich sollten Sie den Arm nach oben strecken und das Gerät in verschiedene Richtungen führen. Da die Haut in diesem Bereich nach der Epilation besonders empfindlich ist, sollten Sie keine hautreizenden Substanzen, wie z.B. alkoholhaltige Deodorants, verwenden.

5Epilation im Gesicht

Ersetzen Sie den Epilierkopf (2) durch den Epilierkopf für Gesichtshärchen

(8). So entfernen Sie mit Ihrem Silk·épil perfekt unerwünschte Härchen rund um Mund, Kinn und in anderen empfindlichen Bereichen.

Vor dem Epilieren empfehlen wir aus hygienischen Gründen eine sorgfältige Reinigung der entsprechenden Hautbereiche mit Alkohol.

Straffen Sie beim Epilieren im Gesicht Ihre Haut mit der freien Hand und führen Sie das Gerät langsam, gleichmäßig und ohne Druck mit der Schalterseite gegen den Haarwuchs.

6Reinigung des Epilierkopfes

Nach jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker ziehen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät regelmäßig, um seine Leistung zu erhalten.

aReinigen mit der Bürste

Nehmen Sie den Aufsatz (1) ab und bürsten Sie ihn aus.

Für die Reinigung der Pinzettenwalze empfehlen wir, die Bürste mit Alkohol zu benetzen. Bürsten Sie die Pinzettenwalze von hinten aus, während Sie sie von Hand drehen. Dadurch erreichen Sie eine hygienische Reinigung des Epilierkopfes.

bReinigen mit Wasser

Nehmen Sie den Aufsatz (1) ab. Halten Sie den Epilierkopf unter fließendes Wasser. Danach die Entriegelungstaste

(5) drücken und den Epilierkopf (2) abnehmen. Schütteln Sie den abgenommenen Kopf und das Gerät kräftig aus und lassen Sie beides trocknen. Epilierkopf nur im trockenen Zustand wieder aufsetzen.

Dieses Gerät darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über den Braun Kunden-

dienst oder lokal verfügbare Rückgabeund Sammelsysteme erfolgen.

Als Hersteller übernehmen wir für dieses Gerät – nach Wahl des Käufers zusätzlich zu den gesetzlichen Gewährleistungsansprüchen gegen den Verkäufer – eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum. Braun Silk·épil 5 has been designed to make the removal of unwanted hair as efficient, gentle and easy as possible.

Its proven epilation system removes hair at the root, leaving your skin smooth for weeks. As the hair that re-grows is fine and soft, there will be no more stubble.

Important

•For hygienic reasons, do not share this appliance with other persons.

•This appliance is provided with a special cord set with an integrated Safety Extra Low Voltage power supply. Do not exchange or manipulate any part of it. Otherwise there is risk of electric shock.

•Only use the special cord set provided with your appliance.

492, you can use it with any Braun power supply coded 492-XXXX.

• This appliance is suitable

for cleaning under running tap water. Warning: Detach

the appliance from the power supply before cleaning any of the heads with water.

General information on epilation

All methods of hair removal at the root can lead to in-growing hair and irritation (e.g. itching, discomfort and reddening of the skin) depending on the condition of the skin and hair. This is a normal reaction and should quickly disappear, but may be stronger when you are removing hair at the root for the first few times or if you have sensitive skin.

If, after 36 hours, the skin still shows irritation, we recommend that you contact your physician. In general, the skin reaction and the sensation of pain tend to diminish considerably with the repeated use of Silk·épil.

In some cases inflammation of the skin could occur when bacteria penetrate the skin (e.g. when sliding the appliance over the skin).

Thorough cleaning of the epilation head before each use will minimise the risk of infection. If you have any doubts about using this appliance, please consult your physician. In the following cases, this appliance should only be used after prior consultation with a physician:

–eczema, wounds, inflamed skin reactions such as folliculitis (purulent hair follicles) and varicose veins,

–around moles,

–reduced immunity of the skin, e.g. diabetes mellitus, during pregnancy, Raynaud’s disease, haemophilia, candida or immune deficiency.

Some useful tips

If you have not used an epilator before, or if you have not epilated for a longer period of time, it may take a short time for your skin to adapt to epilation. The discomfort experienced in the beginning will decrease considerably with repeated use as the skin adapts to the process. Epilation is easier and more comfortable when the hair is at the optimum length of 2-5 mm. If hairs are longer, we recommend that you first shave and epilate the shorter, re-growing hairs a week later. When epilating for the first time, it is advisable to epilate in the evening, so that any possible reddening can disappear overnight. To relax the skin we recommend applying a moisture cream after epilation.

Fine hair which re-grows might not grow up to the skin surface. The regular use of massage sponges (e.g. after showering) or exfoliation peelings helps to prevent in-growing hair as the gentle scrubbing action removes the upper skin layer and fine hair can get through to the skin surface.

Preparing for use

•Your skin must be dry and free from grease or cream.

•Before use, always make sure that the epilation head (2) is clean and provided with a cap (1).

•To change caps, press their lateral ribs and pull off.

•To change heads, press the release button (5).

Cooling glove for optional skin cooling

For the first few epilations or if you have sensitive skin, you can use the cooling glove (9), recommended by dermatologists to help reduce possible skin irritation.

•Ensure that the gel pack has been in the deep freezer (***) for at least

2 hours (for convenience you can store the gel packs in the freezer).

•Insert the gel pack underneath the cooling glove’s transparent foil. Use only with glove.

•Put transparent (cool) side of the glove on your leg.

•Start cooling for approximately 30 seconds, longer if needed.

•Epilate the cooled skin area immediately as described below.

•Repeat cooling and epilating until completion.

•While epilating, please ensure your skin is dry.

Important: Apply cooling glove to the same area for no longer than 2 minutes. Keep away from sunlight. Do not use gel pack when damaged. Dispose of in household waste. Do not use if you are hypersensitive, allergic to the cold, or if your skin suffers from sensory disturbances, when suffering from cardiac

diseases or arterial circulatory disorders.

How to epilate

The epilation head (2) features CloseGrip Technology to ensure extra efficiency especially with short hairs: The 40 tweezers always keep close contact to the skin to remove hairs as short as grain of sand (0.5 mm). The pivoting head perfectly adapts to the body contours for maximum thoroughness. The high-frequency massaging rollers (1a) stimulate your skin effectively for an extra gentle epilation.

1How to operate the appliance

Turn the on/off switch (4) to operate the appliance:

Turn to position «I» = extra gentle Turn to position «II» = extra efficient As long as the appliance is switched on, the light (3) illuminates the area to be epilated. This gives you a better

control for improved epilation efficiency.

2How to guide the appliance

•Always stretch your skin when epilating.

•Always make sure that the epilation area is in close contact with your skin.

•Guide the appliance in a slow, continuous movement without pressure against the hair growth, in the direction of the switch. As hair can grow in different directions, it may also be helpful to guide the appliance in different directions to achieve optimal results. The pulsating movements of the massaging

rollers stimulate and relax the skin for a gentler epilation.

•If you are used to the sensation of epilation, you may replace the massage cap (1a) with the skin contact cap (1b) which provides a closer contact to your skin and an improved adaptation to all body areas.

3Leg epilation

Epilate your legs from the lower leg in an upward direction. When epilating behind the knee, keep the leg stretched out straight.

4Underarm and bikini line epilation

For this specific application, the sensitive area cap (7) has been developed as an optional attachment to be placed on the epilation head (2).

Please be aware that especially at the beginning, these areas are particularly sensitive to pain. Therefore, we recommend you start with switch setting «I».

With repeated usage the pain sensation will diminish. Before epilating, thoroughly clean the respective area to remove residues (like deodorant). Then carefully dab dry with a towel. When epilating the underarm, keep your arm raised up so that the skin is stretched and guide the appliance in different directions. As skin may be more sensitive directly after epilation, avoid using irritating substances such as deodorants with alcohol.

5Facial epilation

With the facial head (8) attached, your Silk·épil is perfectly suited for conveniently removing any unwanted hair from the face or other sensitive areas.

Prior to epilation, we recommend cleaning the skin with alcohol to promote good hygiene. When epilating the face, stretch the skin with one hand and slowly guide the epilator with your

other hand in the direction of the switch.

6Cleaning the epilation head

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance. Regular cleaning ensures better performance.

aBrush cleaning:

Remove the cap (1) and brush it out. Thoroughly clean the tweezers from the rear side of the epilator head with the brush dipped into alcohol. While doing so, turn the tweezer element manually. This cleaning method ensures best hygienic conditions for the epilation head.

bCleaning under running water: Remove the cap. Hold the appliance with the epilation head under running water.

Then press the release button (5) to remove the epilation head (2). Thoroughly shake both, the epilation head and the appliance to make sure that remaining water can drip out. Leave both parts to dry. Before reattaching, make sure that they are completely dry.

Please do not dispose of the product in the household waste at the end of its useful life.

Disposal can take place at a Braun Service Centre or at appropriate collection points provided in your country.

Within the guarantee period we will eliminate any defects in the appliance resulting from faults in materials or workmanship, free of charge either by repairing or replacing the complete appliance at our discretion. This guarantee does not cover: damage due to improper use, normal wear or use as well as defects that have a negligible effect on the value or operation of the appliance.

Our Warranty only covers defects in the appliance resulting from faults in workmanship or materials. Therefore, if your appliance becomes faulty as a result of faults in workmanship or materials, it will be exchanged by your retailer, on presentation of proof of purchase.

Our Warranty only applies to domestic or household use of this appliance and the warranty will only apply if the correct operating instructions included with this product have been followed. For any appliance replaced under this warranty, Our Warranty ends on the expiry of the warranty period that applied to the original appliance.

Our Warranty does not cover:

A.Damage arising from improper use or operation on incorrect voltages.

B.Breakages to shaver foils, glass jars, etc.

C.Normal wear due to moving parts.

D.Repairs undertaken by unauthorised service personnel or use of non genuine parts.

E.Appliances that are outside the warranty period or are not faulty.

This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

If the appliance is powered by a cord extension set or electrical portable outlet device these should be positioned so they are not subject to splashing or ingress of moisture.

To the extent permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand and applicable laws of a State or Territory of Australia, and without affecting any mandatory statutory obligations imposed by law, Our Warranty is given in exchange for any other rights you may have against Procter & Gamble Australia Pty. Ltd. or its distributors or manufacturer, whether at law, in tort (including negligence), in equity or under statute.

Le Silk·épil 5 de Braun a été conçu pour vous procurer une épilation aussi douce, efficace, précise, et facile que possible. Son système d’épilation éprouvé élimine les poils à la racine et laisse votre peau douce pendant des semaines. Lors de la repousse, les poils sont souples et fins, vous évitez ainsi les poils courts et piquants.

Informations générales

Toutes les méthodes d’épilation à la racine peuvent entraîner des poils incarnés et des irritations cutanées (par exemple, démangeaison, gêne ou rougissement de la peau), en fonction de l’état de la peau et des poils.

Il s’agit d’une réaction normale qui doit disparaître rapidement. Cette réaction peut être plus importante les premières fois que vous vous épilez ou si vous avez une peau sensible. Si votre peau montre encore des signes d’irritation après

36 heures, nous vous recommandons de consulter votre médecin. En général, la réaction de la peau et la sensation de douleur tendent à diminuer considérablement avec l’utilisation régulière de votre épilateur Silk épil.

Dans certains cas, une inflammation de la peau peut survenir si des bactéries pénètrent sous la peau (par exemple, lorsque vous faites glisser l’appareil sur la peau). Un nettoyage minutieux de la tête d’épilation avant chaque utilisation minimise les risques d’infection.

Si vous avez des doutes concernant l’utilisation de cet appareil, consultez votre médecin. Une consultation chez le médecin est nécessaire avant toute utilisation de cet appareil dans les cas suivants :

–eczéma, coupures, réactions inflammatoires de la peau telles qu’une folliculite (follicules pileux purulents) et varices

–grains de beauté,

–immunité réduite de la peau, par exemple, en cas de diabète non insulinodépendant, de grossesse, de maladie de Raynaud, d’hémophilie, de candida ou de déficit immunitaire.

Conseils utiles

Si vous n’avez jamais utilisé d’épilateur auparavant ou si votre dernière épilation remonte à longtemps, votre peau peut avoir besoin d’un certain temps pour

s’habituer à l’épilation. La sensation d’inconfort ressentie au début va s’atténuer considérablement avec l’utilisation régulière de l’appareil, le temps que la peau s’adapte au processus. L’épilation est plus facile et plus confortable lorsque le poil mesure entre

2 et 5 mm maximum. Au-delà, nous vous recommandons d’abord de vous raser, puis d’épiler les poils qui repousseront quelques jours plus tard.

Si vous vous épilez pour la première fois, nous vous conseillons de le faire le soir de manière à ce que toute rougeur éventuelle disparaisse pendant la nuit. Nous vous conseillons d’appliquer une crème hydratante pour aider la peau à s’assouplir après l’épilation.

Des poils très fins peuvent parfois repousser sous la peau. Pour éviter les poils incarnés, nous vous conseillons d’utiliser régulièrement une éponge de massage (après la douche) ou un gant de crin. En effet, leur action exfoliante enlève la couche supérieure de l’épiderme permettant ainsi aux poils fins de ne pas rester bloqués sous la peau.

Préparation avant utilisation

•Votre peau doit être sèche et sans aucun résidu d’huile ou de crème.

•Avant utilisation, assurez-vous toujours que la tête d’épilation (2) est propre et équipée d’un accessoire (1).

•Pour changer les accessoires, appuyez de chaque côté de l’accessoire et retirez-le.

•Pour changer les têtes d’épilation, appuyez sur le bouton d’éjection (5).

Rafraîchissement de la peau

Lors des premières épilations ou si vous avez la peau sensible, vous pouvez utiliser le gant refroidissant (9), testé par les dermatologues pour préparer la peau avant l’épilation.

•Assurez-vous que la poche de gel est restée au moins 2 heures au congélateur (***) (pour plus de praticité vous pouvez stocker la poche au congélateur en permanence).

•Placez la poche de gel dans le gant. Utilisez la poche de gel exclusivement avec le gant.

•Appliquez la partie transparente (froide) du gant sur votre jambe.

•Laissez le froid agir environ 30 secondes, plus longtemps si nécessaire.

•Epilez la zone refroidie immédiatement, comme expliqué ci-après.

•Renouvelez ce processus (refroidissement et épilation) jusqu’à ce que vous ayez terminé de vous épiler.

•Pendant l’épilation, assurez-vous que votre peau est sèche.

Important: N’appliquez pas le gant sur la même zone plus de 2 minutes. Conservez à l’abri du soleil. N’utilisez pas la poche de gel si elle est endommagée et jetez-la avec les ordures ménagères. N’utilisez pas le gant si vous êtes très sensible ou allergique au froid, si votre peau est sujette à des dysfonctionnements sensoriels, si vous souffrez d’une maladie cardiaque ou encore de problèmes de circulation artérielle.

Comment s’épiler ?

La tête d’épilation (2) est équipée de la technologie Close-Grip extrêmement efficace même sur les poils courts : les 40 pincettes restent en permanence au contact de la peau pour retirer les poils même aussi petits qu’un grain de sable (0,5 mm). La tête pivotante s’adapte parfaitement aux contours de votre corps pour une précision maximale.

Les rouleaux massants haute fréquence (1a) stimulent efficacement la peau pour une épilation extra douce.

1Fonctionnement de l’appareil

Tournez l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (4) pour mettre en marche l’appareil. Position « I » = ultra doux

Position « II » = ultra efficace

En position marche, la lumière (3) éclaire la zone à épiler. Cela vous offre un meilleur contrôle pour une efficacité d’épilation optimale.

2Utilisation de l’appareil

•Étirez toujours votre peau lorsque vous vous épilez.

•Assurez-vous toujours que la zone d’épilation reste au contact de la peau.

•Déplacez l’appareil avec un mouvement lent et continu, sans exercer de pression, dans le sens inverse de la pousse du poil et interrupteur vers le bas. Étant donné que les poils ne poussent pas toujours dans la même direction, il peut être utile de déplacer l’appareil sur des trajectoires différentes afin d’obtenir un résultat optimal. Les mouvements de pulsation des rouleaux massants stimulent et détendent la peau pour une épilation plus douce.

•Si vous êtes habituée à la sensation d’épilation, vous pouvez remplacer l‘accessoire rouleaux massants (1a) par l‘accessoire de contact avec la

peau (1b) qui apporte un contact plus rapproché avec la peau et une adaptation améliorée à toutes les zones du corps.

3Epilation des jambes

Epilez vos jambes de bas en haut. Tendez bien la peau lorsque vous vous épilez derrière le genou.

4Épilation des aisselles et du maillot

Un accessoire zones sensibles (7), à placer sur la tête d’épilation (2), a été créé pour cette utilisation spécifique. Ces zones sont particulièrement sensibles à la douleur, surtout lors des premières épilations. Pour cette raison nous vous recommandons de commencer avec la vitesse I. Après plusieurs épilations, la sensation de douleur va diminuer.

Avant l’épilation, nettoyez avec attention ces zones et enlevez tous les résidus (comme le déodorant par exemple). Puis séchez doucement avec une serviette. Lorsque vous vous épilez les aisselles, gardez votre bras en l’air et déplacez l’appareil dans des directions différentes. Après l’épilation la peau est plus sensible, évitez donc d’utiliser des substances irritantes comme du déodorant avec alcool.

5Épilation du visage

Grâce à son Accessoire visage (8), votre Silk·épil est parfaitement adapté à l’épilation des poils indésirables du visage et des autres zones sensibles. Pour une meilleure hygiène, nous recommandons de nettoyer la peau avec de l’alcool avant l’épilation. Lorsque vous vous épilez le visage, étirez la peau avec une main et déplacez lentement l’épilateur avec l’autre main, interrupteur vers le bas.

6Nettoyage de la tête d’épilation

Avant le nettoyage, débranchez l’appareil. Un nettoyage régulier garantit une performance optimale.

aNettoyage à la brosse :

Retirez l’accessoire (1) et brossez-le. Nettoyez soigneusement les pincettes situées à l’arrière de la tête d’épilation avec la brosse préalablement trempée dans l’alcool. Pendant le nettoyage, vous pouvez tourner les pincettes manuellement. Cette méthode de nettoyage garantit une hygiène optimale pour la tête d’épilation.

bNettoyage à l’eau courante :

Retirez l’accessoire. Passez l’appareil avec la tête d’épilation enclenchée sous l’eau.

Ensuite, appuyez sur le bouton d’éjection (5) pour retirer la tête d’épilation

(2).

Secouez soigneusement la tête d’épilation et l’appareil pour que l’eau puisse s’égoutter. Laissez-les sécher. Assurez-vous que ces deux éléments soient complètement secs avant de les réassembler.

Ne jetez pas ce produit avec les ordures ménagères lorsqu’il est en fin de vie. Le remettre à un centre service agréé Braun ou le déposer dans des sites de récupération

appropriés conformément aux réglementations locales ou nationales en vigueur.
