Please ensure that you have the latest version of Bluetooth software, available from our website at

http://www.brainboxes.com/downloads /software/bluetooth/index.asp before followi ng these instructions.

To install your BL-510, go to Control Panel and Add Hardware:

Select Next:

Select “Yes, I have already connected the hardware” and Next:

Highlight “Add a new hardware device” and Next:

Select “Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)” and Next:

Highlight “Show All Devices” and Next:

C l i ck “Have Di sk… ”:

Browse the l ocation of Brain Boxes Bluetooth Stack and “Open”:

Click OK:

Highlight Brain Boxes Bluetooth RS232 Device and click Next:

Click Next again:

For the following two messages, select “Continue Anyway”:

And then click Finish:

A new “Found New Hardware Wizard” appears. Select “Instal l from a list or specifi c locati on (Advanced)”
and Next:

Select “Search for the best driver in these locati on”, browse to the location of the software and click Next:

C l i ck Finish:

Click on the My Bluetooth Devi ce icon in the System T ray:

The following window will appear. Select the COM port that the BL-510 is connected to and click OK:

Repea t the same procedure to install the remaining layers of the software (up to OBEX).
The My Bluetooth Device user interface opens:

The Brain Boxes Bluetooth device can be seen in Device Manager (Control Panel/System/Hardware):
