Installation:
The Alibi is very easy to use. Please connect the supplied cables to the designated ports on the Alibi and computer. The computer will automatically recognize the webcam and ask for a driver. Simply put the provided software CD into your CD drive and appoint windows to search this removable media. The webcam drivers will automatically be found. Please click OK or Continue to finish the driver installation. The Webcam is now ready for use.
Software package installation:
Besides drivers the Software CD also contains extra software. To install the Software simply put the provided software CD into your CD drive. The setup software will automatically start, prompting you through the steps to install the video and photo software. You may enter the selection for the destination folder, the Start menu, Programs group and other setup options. The setup process will copy the applications to the destination folder. Note if Windows auto-run feature has been turned off on your computer, you will need to start the Setup.exe application on the software CD.
Note:
Please note the maximum output volume of the Alibi is subject to the volume level of the computer audio. The higher the volume setting on the computer the higher the volume of the Alibi.

Operation:
•Switch on: Push the top side of the Alibi and the Webcam head will pop up. The on/off LED indicator on the top of the Alibi will light up. Please note the Webcam can only be switched on by activating the supplied software or other software that utilizes the Webcam functions such as VoIP and Video calling software like Skype or MSN.
•Switch off: Push the top side of the Alibi down and press back the ‘head’ into the unit.
•Volume output: Volume can be controlled by turning the Volume control ring clockwise or counter-clockwise
•Line-in: The Alibi can connect to the computer line-out, but can also be connected to any other Sound device with a 3.5mm stereo output such as iPod / MP3 players /
MiniDisc or CD players.
•Video output: there are several options how to utilize the video output
•Open Windows Explorer and select the Alibi Webcam in the folder list, a window with the video output will appear.
•Start the supplied software to utilize all the functions of the Alibi. For more detailed information on these programs please refer to the Program Help function.
•While using VoIP and Video calling software the Alibi Video Output will start once selected within the program.
