AS1

The AS1 is a compact active subwoofer, designed

to provide deep bass extension in home theatre

and hi- applications that incorporate the other

speakers in the B&W Leisure Monitor range, the

VM1, LM1, and M1. Despite its muscular 85 watts

the AS1 is compact enough to take up a discreet,

out-of-the-way position on the oor of the typical

livingroom. It includes B&W’s Flowport and a

music/movie switch that modies the subwoofer’s

output to precisely t the demands of each type of

material. The AS1’s controls are easily accessible,

being located on the top panel, rather than hidden

at the rear.
