Boston Acoustics is proud to announce its new line of advanced Pro Installation (PRi) speakers. The new high performance in-ceiling models are all fire and plenum rated, and are the first speakers developed by Boston Acoustics with a commercial application focus. The new line includes three core configurations: PRi665, PRi685, and the PRi85Sub.

All models are available with and without 70/100 volt transformers. Models with the 70/100 volt transformer installed are the PRi665CV, PRi685CV and the PRi85SubCV. The 70/100 volt versions are ideal for light commercial applications such as restaurants and bars or in full commercial applications using constant voltage to drive multiple speakers.

Many residential installations including town homes and condominiums now require plenum rated enclosures to meet building codes. Not only do the new PRi speakers meet these requirements, but they are easy to install and sound great. These speakers can be used in whole house music systems and in home theater rooms. Plus, with paintable grilles and trim, they can be customized to fit your décor.

Both the PRi665 and PRi685 models feature high performance soft dome tweeters in a unique pivoting tweeter island for maximum flexibility in placement. All models have advanced woofers featuring Deep Channel

™

mica filled copolymer speaker cones with butyl rubber surrounds. Additionally, insulation provides acoustic isolation between rooms and dampens resonance for maximum performance in a variety of commercial installations, and a specially tuned ported enclosure provides extended bass response.

For total installation flexibility, an integrated cable clamp on each speaker is compliant with industry-standard conduit clamps, and a 4-pin 2-piece Molex connector allows easier connection. Whether you need to fill one room or an entire commercial complex with sound, Boston Acoustics PRi speakers are a smart choice.
