Important Notes
•Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, place it near devices that radiate heat, leave it inside an enclosed vehicle, or otherwise subject it to temperature extremes. Excessive heat can deform or discolor the unit.
•To remove dirt, wipe with a soft dry cloth.
•When connecting / disconnecting all cables, grasp the connector itself—never pull on the cable. This way you will avoid causing shorts, or damage to the cable’s internal elements.
•If the volume of your equipment is raised when you make connections, you risk causing acoustic feedback and/or damaging your sound reproduction equipment. Minimize the volume before you make connections.
•This microphone can be used only with equipment that supports plug-in power.
You must make sure that the microphone input jack to which you connect this microphone is a 1/8" (3.5 mm) stereo mini jack that supports plug-in power.
•This microphone cannot be used with computer.
•Do not leave the microphone connected when you transport the recorder; you risk damaging the microphone if you do so.

If the ring stopper is not pressed in deeply enough, it will Shockmount tend to pull the plug out, and faulty contact may occur.

Settings on the MICRO BR recorder
If you’re using this microphone with the MICRO BR, you must switch on the MICRO BR’s Plug-in Power. Refer to the section “Other Convenient Functions – Using plug-in powered microphone” in the MICRO BR Owner’s Manual, and make the appropriate settings.
