Thank you for choosing BOSS Iron, of which you are now the proud owner.
BOS S Lightweight Iron is designed to help you iron your clothes quickly and efficiently. In addion, the
Non-Sck Coated Soleplate helps you iron clothes without leng the iron sck to them. With adjustable
power levels to help you iron delicate fabrics, as well as a pilot light to indicate when the iron is ready to be
used, the BOSS Iron is craed to give you professional-quality ironing results.
Please read and follow all the instrucons given in this user manual carefully, prior to using your B OSS

IMPORTANT
Please read the following instrucons carefully before using the Iron.
1. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instrucon concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
3. Do not operate any damaged appliance. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
or call our customer service number for informaon on examinaon, repair, or adjustment.
4. The Cord should not touch the Soleplate at all when it is hot.
5. Always place the iron with its back on a firm surface when interrupng ironing and aer use.
6. Never keep your iron unaended when it is connected to power supply
7. Keep the Soleplate smooth, avoid hard contact with metal objects. Do not iron on buons, hard
surfaces, etc.
8. First use will burn off the manufacturer's protecve coang. This may cause slight smoke from the
unit. It is not harmful and will stop aer first use. Be sure the room is properly venlated.

IRONING TEMPERATURE GUIDE
Check for label with ironing instrucons. Follow below instrucons in all cases
1. If ironing instrucons are missing but you know the kind of fabric, select
• Low Temperature : for synthec materials - Nylon / Rayon
•• Moderate Temperature : for semi synthec materials - Silk / Wool
••• Hot Temperature : for Linen / Coon
2. These instrucons are valid for the fiber materials only; If some kind of finish has been applied
(gloss, wrinkle, relief etc.) the texle can best be ironed at a lower temperature.
3. The iron heats up quicker than it cools down. Start ironing the arcles requiring lowest
temperature and then progress to the higher temperature.
4. Not sure about the fabric, find a spot, which will be invisible when wearing or using the arcle
to try out the ironing temperature. Always start with low temperature and increase to one
which gives the required results)
5. Velvet and other textures, which rapidly acquire shiny spots, should be ironed in one direcon
only. Always apply light pressure and keep moving.
6. Iron the reverse side of synthec materials and silk to prevent shining spots. To prevent staining
do not use the spray on silk or other delicate fabrics.
HOW TO USE
1. Set the appropriate ironing temperature by means of the Variable Temperature Controller.
2. Insert the main plug into the wall socket. The Power Indicator will now turn on.
3. When the Power Indicator is gone and turned on again, you can start ironing.
4. The Power Indicator will turn on from me to me during ironing. This has no effect on ironing.
5. If you set the temperature control to a lower seng aer ironing at a high temp, do no
recommence ironing unl the Power Indicator turns on again.
6. Place the iron on its rear side once done.
7. Set the Variable Temperature Controller to posion “MIN”
8. Remove the main plug from the wall socket.
9. Let the iron cool down for atleast 30 mins.
10. Store the iron standing on its rear side to prevent damage to the Soleplate.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Before cleaning, remove the main plug from the wall socket and allow the iron to cool down
sufficiently.
2. The appliance can be cleaned with a damp cloth
3. Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquids.
