The FERION 1000 O smoke alarm device with built‑in
siren, big button for operation and replaceable
batteries is solely designed for residential
applications. The device reliably warns you of the
emergence of a fire in your house or flat. If the smoke
emissions exceed a certain limit, an alarm is raised.

Functions

The replaceable batteries with a typical lifetime of 5
years ensure long life service.
The big operating button enables easy operation.
Already mounted on the ceiling you may operate the
device standing on the ground with the help of a usual
part of the household, for example a broomstick.

Installation/configuration notes

The devices are suitable for all residential buildings.
The safety notes and instructions contained in the
User Guide must be observed in order to ensure
proper functioning.

For minimum protection install:

• one FERION in every bedroom

• one FERION in every hallway that serves as an escape
route.

Additional for optimal protection:

• in the living areas

• in the attic

• in the basement

Installation of the base:

• with 1 central screw and plug

• or installation with 2 screws and plugs (not in
delivery).
