Your Bosch Tronic 1000T now comes with a standard
2 year parts and labour warranty on all components
and a 10 Year conditional warranty on the tank.

Application of the Extended Warranty
1. This warranty extension to 10 years for the tank part only is separate to
our standard Bosch Tronic 1000T warranty. This warranty against defects is
provided in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have at law.
2. This warranty is, subject to these Conditions, for a period of 10 years
beginning from the date of purchase of the unit by you, the first end-user,
provided that you, the first end-user, meet the maintenance requirements
set out below.
3. This warranty against defects for 10 years is applicable to the tank only
and subject to you, the first end-user, carrying out the Periodic Inspection
requirements as detailed in the Installation and Operating Instruction
booklet supplied with the unit, and the maintenance schedule below in
the fifth year after purchase:
a. Contact Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd or a Bosch Authorised
Service Agent to carry out the replacement of the sacrificial anode;
b. During the replacement of the sacrificial anode the service personnel
will also inspect and service other items as required;
c. The cost of the service call and parts will be borne by you; and
d. Keep your proof of service receipt to make a warranty claim (Verification
Documents).
4. This warranty against defects is applicable to new Bosch Tronic 1000T
Electric Water Storage cylinders models that:
a. are purchased from 1 June 2019;
b. are purchased from a Bosch authorised reseller in Australia or New Zealand;
c. are installed and operated in line with the Installation and Operating
Instruction booklet supplied with the unit; and
d. are for personal, domestic use only (i.e. no business or commercial
use), and excludes Ineligible Products as defined in Condition 5.
5. Ineligible Products means any trade seconds or used stock. This warranty
extension does not apply to 25L and 50L Bosch Tronic 1000T models.
6. Any work performed under this warranty will not extend or renew the
warranty period. The warranty period for installed replacement parts ends
with the original 10 year warranty period.

How to claim
1. If you need to make a warranty claim between years 0 – 7 from the date
of purchase, refer to the Installation and Operating Instruction booklet
supplied with the unit.
2. If you need to make a warranty claim between years 8 - 10 from the date of
purchase and have met the requirements in Condition 3 above (Application
of the Extended Warranty) you may file a warranty claim by contacting:

3. Verification Documents referred to in Condition 3 above and the unit
identification details requested must be provided or presented to us or
our authorised service provider as requested.
4. Bosch Thermotechnology will organise for the unit to be assessed to
determine if the fault or problem is covered by this warranty. If it is
determined that the problem or fault is not covered by warranty, Bosch
reserve the right to charge you for the service call.
5. Bosch Thermotechnology will advise you by telephone, email or in writing
whether the fault is covered by this warranty.
