The Penton Audio BBX8 enclosure,
BRG8 tile bridge and MBK8 bracket
assist mounting the 8” RCS Series,
torsion-spring speaker packages.
Designed to work together in suspended
ceiling applications, both BBX8 and
BRG8 are CRS and protected from rust,
the enclosure by a black powder coat and
the BRG8 by galvanization.
The BBX8 uses a wool/fiberglass pad to
help eliminate acoustical resonances. Its
sides allow 12 conduit connections with
equally spaced knockouts - four dual
3/4”, 1-1/8” and four 5/8”. The BRG8
has two 1/4” edge strength flanges and
three small flanges to Slide-in-Lock
the BRG8 enclosure in place without
hardware during installation.
The clever MBK8 is designed to assist in
blind-mount applications including
drywall, wood and plaster ceilings/walls.
Simply loosen the bracket jaws with the
integral plastic knobs. Place the bracket
into the precut hole with the jaws
perpendicular to the surface. Slide the
jaws down to grip the top surface and
tighten the plastic knobs.
