DESCRIPTION & OPERATION OF THE DOSIMETER
The 1621M X-ray and gamma radiation
dosimeter is designed to provide:

within the full energy range

year of production in number indication mode, IR communication
Time of averaging DER values (in seconds) in DER indication mode,
of DE accumulation time in DE indication mode;
The LIGHT/SET button (the light/setting) (controls LCD backlight, PC
The MODE button for selecting the dosimeter’s indication mode

The dosimeter’s operating algorithm ensures continuity of the
The IR-communication channel allows an exchange of information
The dosimeter has an internal non-volatile memory for information
A direction of calibration and the detector effective center relative to
which the factory calibration is performed are placed at a 15
The total surface density of the walls surrounding the detector is 1 g/cm
which provide shielding from background beta radiation to the detector.

When you receive the device after purchase please check the delivery kit
that the positive (“+”) end of the battery is inserted rst;
One minute after inserting the battery the dosimeter is ready for use.
Attention! If the device is expected to be used under conditions when the dose

The dosimeter allows storage and transmission to PC of DE history
without IR adapter (internal or external).
The dosimeter performs data transmission to PC under the software
Minimum computer system requirements:
monitor resolution 800 x 600
IR adapter (internal or external)

To use the dosimeter in data transmission to PC mode:
