Thank you for purchasing the B&M Remote Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).To utilize any computer directed
engine management system, the position of the throttle must be known at all times. The B&M Remote TPS
provides reference to any carbureted engine equipped with a B&M Shift Plus 2 TCU. The TPS features a
simple three-wire design, making it easy to install. The adjustable cable allows for various mounting locations
on your engine and the supplied bracket provides a place to mount the throttle cable as well as giving a
professional looking final appearance.

Step 1: If using the factory throttle cable, use supplied factory cable bracket. Mount carburetor cable bracket to
carburetor and leave the cable bracket loose for adjustment.

Step 2: Mount the TPS to firewall or inner fender in an area where the cable will not be in a bind.
Step 3: Adjust length of cable by loosening brass adjustment nut on cable but do not tighten yet. Insert the slider end
of cable into the bracket at the carburetor.
Step 4: Work with cable length and adjustment at carburetor until the TPS is able to travel its full range from closed
throttle to wide open throttle. Af ter proper adjustment is achieved, tighten all bolts and screws.
