BS28BS BLUETOOTH SPEAKER

CHARGING THE BATTERY

Before using the BS28BS, fully charge the speaker by
plugging the Micro USB end of the supplied USB cable
into the MICRO USB PORT on the rear of the speaker.
Then plug the Standard USB end into a USB port on a
computer or USB wall charger.

• The LED INDICATOR on the FRONT of the
speaker will turn RED when the speaker is
charging

• The LED INDICATOR will turn OFF when the
speaker is fully charged.

AIRING TO A BLUETOOTH DEVICE

1. Turn your Bluetooth device OFF entirely and then turn
it back ON to refresh the device’s Bluetooth memory.

2. Find the Bluetooth menu in your device and make sure

the Bluetooth function is turned ON (refer to your
device’s user manual for instructions on finding the
Bluetooth menu).

3. Turn the BS28BS ON using the ON / OFF SWITCH.

4. On your device, perform a Bluetooth “device discovery” to add the BS28

5. When the speaker is discovered your device will display “BS28BS” in the Bluetooth menu.

6. If your Bluetooth device asks for a password, enter “0000” and the device will now pair with
the speaker and be ready to use.

7. If supported by your device’s menu, set the BS28BS as “set as authorized” or “add to trusted
devices”.

• NOTE: Keep the Bluetooth function on your device ON, to insure the speaker can

PLAYING MUSIC

After successfully pairing the speaker with your Bluetooth device, you can begin playing music
simply by choosing the song you wish to hear on your device’s menu system (refer to your
device’s user manual for instruction on playing music).

To pause or resume playback press the PLAY / PAUSE / ANSWER / END button.
To skip to the next song press the VOL+ / NEXT button.
To skip to the previous song

press the VOL- / PREV button.

NOTE: All Playback controls (Play, Pause, Skip + / -, etc.) can also be controlled d
Bluetooth device.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

To Increase Volume press and hold the VOL+ / NEXT button.
To Decrease Volume press and hold the VOL- / PREV button.

The volume will continue to Increase / Decrease until you release the button. When the speaker
makes one short “beep” the speaker volume has reached the Maximum / Minimum volume level.

CAUTION: The Volume can also be adjusted directly on your Bluetooth device. It is important to
insure the Volume on your Bluetooth device is not set too low or too high, as this will cause
distortion and can damage the BS28BS.

USING THE SPEAKER FOR HANDS-FREE PHONE CALLS

Once your smartphone has successfully paired with the BS28BS, you can use the Speaker &
Built-in Microphone for hands-free calls.

To answer a call simply press the PLAY / PAUSE / ANSWER / END button.
To end a call press the PLAY / PAUSE / ANSWER / END button again.

NOTE: For best call quality you will need to be close to the BS28BS so you can speak directly
into the Microphone located on the FRONT of the speaker.

USING NON-BLUETOOTH DEVICES

If you wish to use a device that does not have Bluetooth functionality with the BS28BS, simply
connect one end of the supplied 3.5mm Audio Cable into the Headphone Jack of your device and
the other end into the 3.5mm AUDIO INPUT on the BS28BS.

NOTE: When using the 3.5mm AUDIO INPUT the Bluetooth functions of the BS28BS are not
available and the LED INDICATOR will turn BLUE. To resume Bluetooth operations simply
unplug the cable from the 3.5mm AUDIO INPUT and the BS28BS will automatically re-pair with
your Bluetooth device.

TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Speaker will not turn ON
a. Make sure the ON / OFF SWITCH is set to the ON position.
b. Charge the battery

2. Speaker will not Pair
a. Turn your Device OFF & ON again to refresh the Bluetooth Memory
b. Turn the speaker OFF & ON again to attempt to re-pair with your device
c. Try pairing another Bluetooth device

3. No Sound
a. Make sure the volume on the BS28BS is not set to “0” or Mute
b. Make sure the volume on your device is not set to “0” or Mute
c. Make sure there is nothing plugged into the 3.5mm AUDIO INPUT
