Instructions for Electronic Lock

Batteries are include with the safes package.
We do not install batteries into battery housing in order to pervert corrosion. You need to open
the safes by supplying battery power from an outside source or the override key.
See the instruction regarding an outside battery supplying kit or an override key. Install four
AA size batteries into battery case located at the back side of the door before use.

Open :

Press # and input your password : (factory set 168 for the first code, 88888888 for the
second code) if your password is less than 8 digits, press # to confirm your password.
For example press # and 1, 6, 8 and again press #. Display will show ”OPEN” and then
turn handle clockwise. Some models are installed with security key instead of handle.
Then insert key within 5 seconds and turn key clockwise.

If you want your password not to be seen on LCD display, press *after press #, and
then put in your password, The display will show only small squares.

If you input the wrong numbers while entering your password, press * to delete one
number, or press * and hold it for two second to delete all of the numbers.

Closing :

Turn the handle(or key) counter-clockwise.

Changing the first code:

1) Press “reset: button(located at the back of the safe door)

2) Put in your new password(3~8 digits)

3) Press # to confirm your password.

4) Display will show “in” and code has been changed.

Changing the second code:

1) Press #

2) Press “‘0” twice

3) Press “reset” button(located at the back of the safe door)

4) Put in your new password(3~8 digits). The second code must be different from the
first user code.

5) Press # to confirm your password.

6) Display will show “in” and code has been changed.

Outside Electricity supply Kit

When the batteries are worm out while the safe is locked. You can use an external
electricity supplying kit to supply electricity from the outside.
Install four AA size batteries into the outside battery kit and plug it into the electricity
hold located at the left side of the key pad.

Mechanical override key

When the batteries are worn out while the safe is locked, or the electronic lock
malfunctions. You can use the emergency override key to open the safe.
Find the small hole at the bottom side of the square facial plate on the door of the
safes. Insert a small stick(something like a paper clip) into the hole and push up gently
to uncover the key hole.
We suggest using the plug of the outside battery supply kit. See photos.
When the key hole is uncovered, insert the override key and turn clock wise to open
the safe lock and turn the handle to open the door. After opening the safe door, turn
the override key counter-clockwise before you pull the key out. Then cover the key
hole with the plastic cover.

Caution : Do not keep exterior electricity supply kit and override key inside of the safes. Keep them

secure outside of the safe.

Other Functions

- Safety Lock: If the wrong password is entered three times in a row, system will sound
an alarm for 10 seconds and lockdown for 3 minutes. Please wait 3 minutes and try
again with the correct code.

- When the batteries are weak, the display will read “LO-BAT”. Please change the

batteries immediately.(4xAA size 1.5V)
