Disassemble and clean with warm water and mild detergent prior to
use. DO NOT allow the LED sensor to get wet, damage may occur.
INSTRUCTIONS
Installation
An insulator (white tape) in place to prevent the battery from draining
prematurely. Remove the tape and attach the cover seal as shown
here.
CAUTION
DO NOT use with insulator in place, failure to remove it will prevent
the sensor from working properly.
The cover seal MUST completely cover the hole, without the seal or
if the hole is not completely covered, coffee/water etc, will enter the
hole and cause damage to the decanter.
1. Remove Inner Lid form Body
As in the following, turn the inner lid 90° counterclockwise to remove lid.
2. Make sure the sensor is attached, PRE-HEAT the decanter.
Preheat the decanter before its initial use by pouring in some boiling water and letting it sit for 3 minutes.
Dispose of the hot water, before setting under the brewer to receive coffee.
DO NOT place decanter on a HOT warmer, doing so can
damage the unit.
CAUTION
Keep the amount of coffee below the gridline. The sensor detects
the content and the result appears on the LED display a little after
the content is poured in.

3. Close the lid
Match the marks on the lid and the decanter and turn the lid 90°
clockwise to close.
CAUTION
If the lid is not fully closed, coffee may spill. Make sure the lid is
rmly closed.
4. Pouring coffee from the decanter
Pressing the lever, slowly tilt the decanter to pour from the
spout. After pouring, stop pressing the lever and tilt the body
back up.
CAUTION
Steam coming from the decanter is hot and can cause burns,
care must be taken when pressing the lever.
Do not tilt this product abruptly. It may cause the content to
spurt, spill out from gaps between the inner lid and sensor.
5. LCD
The top shows content (ml), and the bottom temperature (°F).
The LCD is switched ON/OFF through temperature detection.
The LCD switches off when the temperature is below 138°F
even if there is over 200 ml liquid remaining, which is not a malfunction.
CAUTION
The sensor / LCD work best when used with coffee.
In situations the LCD will remain on after emptying the entire contents, as the sensor is detecting the
inner temperature of the decanter. The LCD will switch off as the internal temperature cools down.
