CONSTRUCTION
n 316 stainless steel, one-piece welded construction
n 2/3 jacketed kettle
n All exposed surfaces shall be stainless steel
n Heavy, durable bar rim with a continuous seal weld on the underside to
ensure maximum durability and sanitation.
n ASME shop inspected, stamped and registered with the National Board
for operation up to a maximum working pressure of 25 PSI

NOTES:
1. Kettle must be securely anchored to floor. Floor
flanges are threaded and height adjustable.
2. Sanitary (1) piece dome cover shown furnished on 20 & 40 gallon sizes.
3. Counter balanced cover furnished on kettles 60
gallons and over.
4. Position center of tangent drawoff spout 4” - 5”
over floor drain for proper drainage.

SHORT FORM SPECIFICATIONS
Provide Blodgett model 20DS-KLS (20 gallon), 40DS-KLS (40 gallon), 60DS-KLS (60 gallon), 80DS-KLS (80 gallon) or 100DS-KLS (100 gallon) direct steam stationary kettle. Unit
shall be solid one-piece welded construction with heavy duty reinforced bar rim. 2” sanitary
tangent drawoff standard. 20- and 40-gallon units filled with one-piece hinged dome cover.
NSF listed, ASME code constructed for 25 PSI. Steam trap assembly and direct steam
source required. Provide options and accessories as indicated.
