To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury when using your chiller/freezer, please note the following basic precautions:
Before using, read all instructions
Never clean appliance parts with flammable liquids. Also do not use to
store gasoline or any other flammable vapours or liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. The fumes can create a fire or explosion.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built in structure, clear of obstruction.
WARNING: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer
Flammable insulation material must be disposed of by a specialized agency
INSTALLATION
Remove all the packing material before using your chiller/freezer
Clean the interior surface with a soft cloth and lukewarm water
Locate the chiller/freezer in a dry and airy place
Chillers/freezers transported in the horizontal position must be returned to
the upright position and not plugged in for 1 hour
This is essential for proper operation
Chiller/freezer transported in the horizontal position requires the drain pan, located in the top of the compressor, to be checked for proper location.
For proper operation, locate the chiller/freezer on a levelled counter top
Do not place the appliance very close to walls, this could damage the
electric cord and may block the air circulation to the appliance. Keep the chiller/freezer a distance of at least 4 inches from the wall.
Do not block the air intake that ventilates the condenser unit.
ELECTRIC CONNECTION
Make sure there is a suitable power outlet (AC220 – 240v/50Hz, 13amps outlet) with proper grounding to power the chiller/freezer.
WARNING: Do not plug other electrical appliances into the chiller/freezer outlet. Provide an outlet specifically for the chiller/freezer. If the cord is damaged, replace it and do not try to repair it.

STARTUP
Plug in the cabinet; operate the chiller/freezer for three hours. This will aid in refrigerator performance.
The electronic thermostat can be adjusted by pressing the
SET
key more
than 3 seconds, the display will flash. Select the desired target temperature by pressing the
SET
key, the temperature (in centigrade)
may be adjusted 0 to +8 for the chiller, -16 to -24 for the freezer.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance always remember to unplug it, never unplug your freezer by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the plug firmly and pull straight out from the power outlet.
Do not use sharp or pointed objects for cleaning
Clean the inside of the chiller/freezer with a damp cloth or with a neutral
cleanser. Avoid damage by never using abrasive or flammable cleaning products. Clean the condenser at least once a month with a vacuum cleaner and a brush to eliminate dust accumulation.
Power Failure
Please minimise the frequency of door opening during a power failure. Generally power failures are corrected within a few hours and the temperature of your chiller/freezer will not be affected. If the power will be off for an extended period, proper procedure should be followed with regard to the storage cans.
Non usage for extended period of time: If your chiller/freezer is unused for an extended period, it is best to remove the cans, unplug and clean the chiller/freezer. Also please leave the door open to avoid possible formation of condensation, mould or odours.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your chiller/freezer does not work properly, please note the following suggestions before attempting repair.
Your chiller/freezer does not work:
Check the electrical outlet for power, and that the plug is properly inserted
Check the condenser for proper cleaning
The circuit breaker is tripped or the fuse is blown
Your chiller/freezer makes too much noise:
Check that the chiller/freezer is level
Compressor turns on and off frequently:
The room temperature is higher than normal
The door is not closed completely
The door gasket is not sealed well
There is insufficient clearance around the chiller/freezer
The temperature is not set properly
The cycling frequency will reduce when all of the cans reach set
temperature
The following is not a malfunction:
It is normal to hear gurgling sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant when each cooling cycle ends.

Door Reversal Instructions
Please Note
: If the model has a self closing door mechanism a top left hand
hinge plate may be required.
To reverse the way the door opens please follow below instructions:
•••• Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty, also ensure the condensate water collection tray at the back of the cabinet is empty. This is located next to the compressor, if this is full of water remove the back panel and empty the tray.
•••• On self door closing versions insert a thin screwdriver into the bottom door pin tensioning bush and release the spring tension and remove the tensioning pin.
•••• Tilt the unit backwards to expose the bottom door hinge bracket. Remove the adjustable foot from the hinge plate and remove the securing screws. Remove the bottom hinge plate.
•••• Slightly open the door and pull downwards to remove the door from the top hinge pin.
•••• Lift the cabinet back to it’s upright position and remove the screws under the front edge of the top panel and also remove the rear screws, lift up the rear of the top panel and carefully pull towards the front of the cabinet to loosen the top panel.
•••• Carefully lift up the top panel and rest the top panel back onto the top of the cabinet so the top hinge plate can be accessed
•••• If the door is NOT self closing remove the top hinge pin and secure the pin to the top hinge bracket on the left hand side of the cabinet
•••• If the unit is a self door closing version then the left hand top hinge plate will need drilling to accommodate the larger diameter door bush previously fitted into the bottom hinge plate
•••• If the unit is a self closing door version, then the left hand top hinge plate will need drilling to accommodate the larger diameter door bush previously fitted into the bottom hinge plate. Remove the top right hand hinge pin and secure this to the loose bottom hinge plate
•••• Later models will require a top left hand hinge plate ordering as they do not come fitted as standard. Reassemble the top panel and refit the securing screws
•••• Tilt the unit backwards, invert door and position it onto the top hinge pin, remove the bottom hinge pin from the bottom hinge plate and refit on the opposite side of the plate
•••• Refit the bottom hinge plate to the left hand position and refit using the existing screws and refit the adjustable foot.
