Standard Setup for US Oil Fields
USING THE BUTTONS
MENU UP RIGHT ENTER
For each menu option, press ENTER to access the option on the
screen, or press UP or RIGHT to scroll through the options until the
one you want is on the screen, then press ENTER.
SETTING UP THE METER
Follow these instructions to quickly set up the basic version of the
B3000 Digital Flow Monitor. Press and release MENU to enter the
programming mode.
1. Select the Fluid: At the Fluid prompt, press ENTER, select the
uid type and press ENTER.
2. Select the Meter Size: At the Meter prompt, press ENTER, select
the correct meter size and press ENTER.
3. Select the Meter’s K-Factor Unit: At the KFacUnt prompt, press
ENTER, select Pul/Gal and press ENTER.
4. Enter the Meter’s K-Factor Value: At the KFactor prompt, press
ENTER. The most significant digit in the K-factor flashes. If the
current K-factor is correct, press ENTER to advance to the next
parameter. To change the K-factor, press UP to increment the
digit until it matches the meter’s first K-factor digit. Press RIGHT
to advance to the next digit. Repeat this process until all K-factor
digits have been entered, then press ENTER.
5. Select the Flow Unit/Interval: At the FlowUnit prompt, press
ENTER, select OB/D and press ENTER.
6. Disable the Pulse Output: At the PulsOut prompt, press ENTER,
select Disable and press ENTER.
7. Just ignore the remaining screens and press MENU to save your
changes and return to the Main Menu.
The initial setup is now complete.
