13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods
of time.

14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the

apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or
has been dropped.

Condensation can form on the inside of an amplier if it is moved from a cold
environment to a warmer location. Before switching the unit on, it is recommended

that the unit be allowed to reach room temperature.

Do not expose this apparatus to rain, liquids or moisture of any type.

Use only the supplied power cord which is compatible with the mains voltage supply
in your area.

Power supply cords should always be handled carefully and should be replaced if
damaged in any way.

Never break off the earth (ground) pin on the power supply cord.

The power supply cord should be unplugged when the unit is to be unused for long
periods of time.

Before the unit is switched on, the loudspeaker should be connected as described

in the handbook using the lead recommended by the manufacturer.

Always replace damaged fuses with the correct rating and type.

Never disconnect the protective mains earth connection.

High loudspeaker levels can cause permanent hearing damage. You should
therefore avoid the direct vicinity of loudspeakers operating at high levels. Wear
hearing protection if continuously exposed to high levels.

If the product does not operate normally when the operating instructions are

followed, then refer the product to a qualied service engineer.

The U.S. Government’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has
specied the following permissible noise level exposures:

According to OSHA, any exposure in excess of the above permissible limits could

result in some hearing loss.

Ear plug protectors in the ear canals or over the ears must be worn when operating

this amplication system in order to prevent a permanent hearing loss if exposure is

in excess of the limits as set forth above. To ensure against potentially dangerous
exposure to high sound pressure levels, it is recommended that all persons
exposed to equipment capable of producing high sound pressure levels such as

this amplication system be protected by hearing protectors while this unit is in

operation.

All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from
the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed by
the government or the local authorities.

is to provide guitarists with products which are the ultimate tools for self-expression.

Features

The HT-5 is the ultimate studio and practice amp, packing all the great tone and
innovative features of the award-winning HT valve pedals into a two channel,

footswitchable valve amp format. The patented ISF (Innite Shape Feature) circuit
gives you innite adjustment over the characteristics of the tone control network
and takes you from the USA to the UK and anywhere in between. So now you can
effectively design your own tone and nally nd ‘the sound in your head’.

In making the HT-5 ideally suited to home and studio use, the aim was to develop
a valve amp which sounded full and toneful even at the lowest volume level. With

this in mind the Blackstar design team designed a brand new valve power amplier
topology. The HT-5 power amplier is a low powered push-pull design which

produces the crunch and break-up characteristics of a traditional 100W output

stage but at a much lower volume. This is achieved by the use of a 12BH7 dual
triode in push-pull conguration producing 5 Watts output, which is rich in valve

harmonics and compression.

The HT-5 also has a fully specied stereo speaker emulated output which further

enhances the studio credentials and allows any guitarist to get amazing valve
tone straight to tape or disk, or through headphones. It also features the unique
4x12/1x12 voicing switch allowing you to change the tonal characteristics of the
emulated signal between two emulated cabinet types.

The stereo speaker emulated output can be used at the same time as the internal
speaker/extension cab, providing headphone free monitoring or the choice to blend
a mic’d speaker and emulated signal together for unrivalled usability when recording

at home or in the studio. In addition the speaker output can be turned off for ‘silent’

practice or recording.

Add to this an effects loop with switchable level, 16Ω and 8Ω speaker outputs

which allow you to run the amp into an external speaker cabinet of your choice, a

stereo MP3/Line in allowing you to jam along to your favourite tracks and you have

everything you need for recording or practising.

Front Panel

1. Input

Plug your guitar in here. Always use a good quality screened guitar lead.

2. Clean Volume

This controls the volume of the Clean Channel. Turning it clockwise increases
the volume.

3. Clean Tone

The Tone control allows adjustment of the balance between treble and bass

frequencies within the sound. At low settings (counter clockwise) the sound will be

warmer and darker in character. As the Tone control is rotated clockwise the sound
will become brighter.

4. Overdrive Select

Press this switch to select the Overdrive Channel.

5. Overdrive Indicator

When the red LED is on the Overdrive Channel is selected. When the LED is off the

Clean Channel is in operation.

6. Overdrive Gain

The Gain control adjusts the amount of the Overdrive Channel’s overdrive or
distortion. Low settings, counter clockwise (CCW), will deliver a clean sound on
the edge of break-up. As the Gain control is increased clockwise (CW) the sound

will become more overdriven moving through crunch tones until, at its maximum
position, a full distorted lead tone is arrived at.

7. Overdrive Volume

This controls the volume of the Overdrive Channel. Turning it clockwise increases
the volume.

8. Bass (OD Channel)

The Bass control adjusts the amount of low end frequencies in your tone. This amp

has an advanced tone shaping circuit which allows the tone to be tight and cutting,

(CCW), to warm and thumping (CW).

9. Middle (OD Channel)

The Middle control adjusts the amount of middle frequencies in your tone. The

middle frequencies are particularly important in setting the amount of ‘body’ your
tone has. With the Middle control set to its minimum position (fully CCW) the sound

will be aggressive and scooped, a tone ideal for aggressive rhythm playing. As the

Middle control is increased (CW) the amount of ‘body’ is increased, which is more

suitable for sustained lead guitar tones.

10. Treble (OD Channel)

The Treble control allows exact adjustment of the treble frequencies within the

sound. At low settings (CCW) the sound will be warm and darker in character. As the
Treble control is increased (CW) the sound will become brighter. At the maximum

settings the sound will be aggressive and cutting.

11. ISF (Innite Shape Feature)

The ISF control works in conjunction with the Bass, Middle and Treble controls. It

allows you to choose the exact tonal signature you prefer. Fully CCW has a more
American characteristic with a tight bottom end and more aggressive middle, and

fully CW has a British characteristic which is more ‘woody’ and less aggressive.

12. Reverb (HT-5R, HT-5RH and HT-5210 only)

The reverb control sets the overall level of the reverb effect. With the control fully
counter clockwise there will be no reverb. Turning the control clockwise will increase
the amount of reverb. The HT-5R, HT-5RH and HT-5210 feature digital reverb found

on the HT Venue Series and HT-1R, adding a rich depth to any playing style.

13. Power Indicator Light

The power indicator will light when the amplier is switched on.

14. Standby

This switch enables the operation of the power amp stage and speaker output.

Always turn this on at least 30 seconds after the Power switch (15). For silent

recording or practise this switch should be put in the standby position. This will
disable the power stage, but the emulated output will continue to work.

15. Power

This switch is used to turn the amplier on and off. You should always turn this
switch on before turning on the Standby switch (14).

Rear Panel

1. Mains Input

The supplied detachable mains lead is connected here. The lead should only
be connected to a power outlet that is compatible with the voltage, power and
frequency requirements stated on the rear panel. If in doubt get advice from a

qualied technician.

2. Speaker Outputs

For the HT-5210 the output marked ‘1x16 Ohm’ is for the connection of a single 16

Ohm external speaker cabinet. The outputs marked ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’ are for

the connection of either a single 8 Ohm extension cabinet, the internal loudspeakers
of the HT-5210, or two 16 Ohm extension cabinets. The internal loudspeakers of

the HT-5210 should not be used together with an extension cabinet. See table

below.

For all other ampliers in the HT-5 range the output marked ‘1x16 Ohm’ is for

the connection of a single 16 Ohm extension cabinet or the internal loudspeaker

of an HT-5 combo. The outputs marked ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’ are for the

connection of either a single 8 Ohm extension cabinet or two 16 Ohm cabinets.
Also, the internal loudspeaker of the HT-5 combo can be plugged in here if it is

used with a 16 Ohm extension cabinet. See table below.

4. Cabinet Switch

The switch enables you to select either a 4x12 closed back or a 1x12 open back

cabinet emulation for the Speaker Emulated Output.

5. Footswitch

The supplied footswitch is connected here. The footswitch enables you to switch

between the Clean and Overdrive channels. The Overdrive Select Switch (4) on the
amplier must be depressed to allow the footswitch to work.

6. Effects Loop Send

Connect the (mono) input of an external effects unit here.

7. Effects Loop Return

Connect the (mono) output of an external effects unit here.

8. Effects Loop Level

The Effect Loop Level switch sets the effects loop to either +4dBV/-10dBV, which
enables you to use it with either professional equipment (+4dBV setting), or with
guitar level effects such as effects pedals (-10dBV setting).

9. MP3/Line Input

Connect the output of your MP3 or CD player here. Adjust the player’s volume to
match that of your guitar to enable you to play along.

Note: The connection is stereo.

WARNING:

The output marked ‘1x16 Ohm’ should never be used at the same time

as either of the outputs marked ‘1x8 Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’.

3. Speaker Emulated Output & Headphones

This output emulates the tonal characteristics of a guitar speaker cabinet and
provides a natural valve overdrive tone for connection to a recording device or mixing
desk, and for use with headphones. To make full use of the stereo reverb, use a
stereo jack to two mono jacks splitter lead to feed two channels of the recording

device or mixer (see diagram below). The output will also function into a mono guitar

type lead. Always use a good quality screened lead.

Der HT-5 ist der ultimative Amp für das Studio und den Übungsraum: Er vereint
den herausragenden Sound und die innovativen Merkmale der preisgekrönten HT­Röhrenpedale in einem zweikanaligen und per Fußschalter schaltbaren Röhrenamp.
Die für ein Patent angemeldete ISF-Schaltung (Innite Shape Feature) sorgt für eine
extrem exible Klangregelung, die das gesamte Spektrum von amerikanischen
bis britischen Sounds abdeckt. So können Sie Ihren ganz persönlichen Sound
entwickeln und das umsetzen, was bisher nur ‘in Ihrer Vorstellung möglich war'.

Um den HT-5 zum idealen Werkzeug für den Einsatz daheim und im Studio zu
machen, war das Ziel, einen Röhrenverstärker zu bauen, der auch bei minimaler
Lautstärke noch kraftvoll und mächtig klingt. Vor diesem Hintergrund hat das
Blackstar-Entwicklungsteam eine vollkommen neue Röhren-Endstufen-Topologie
entwickelt. Die Endstufe des HT-5 arbeitet mit einem in der Leistung reduzierten
Push-Pull-Design, das den Druck und das Durchsetzungsvermögen einer
herkömmlichen 100-Watt-Ausgangsstufe erzeugt - allerdings bei deutlich geringerer
Lautstärke. Der Schlüssel dazu liegt in der Push-Pull-Konguration einer 12BH7­Dual-Triode, die eine Ausgangsleistung von 5 Watt erzeugt und sich durch kräftige
Röhren-Obertöne und Kompression auszeichnet.

Zudem integriert der HT-5 einen Stereo-Ausgang mit einer extrem hochwertigen
Speaker-Emulation, welche die Einsatzmöglichkeiten im Studio deutlich erweitert
und Gitarristen die Option eröffnet, beeindruckende Röhrensounds direkt auf Band
oder Festplatte aufzunehmen oder einfach über einen Kopfhörer zu genießen. Ein

weiteres Merkmal ist die einzigartige Umschaltung zwischen dem 4x12- und 1x12-

Voicing, mit der Sie das Ausgangssignal auf den tonalen Charakter eines dieser
beiden emulierten Lautsprecher-Typen einstellen. Der Speaker-emulierte Stereo­Ausgang kann parallel mit dem internen Speaker/einer externen Lautsprecherbox
benutzt werden, so dass kein Kopfhörer für das Monitoring notwendig ist. Zudem
können Sie das mikrofonierte Speaker-Signal mit dem emulierten Direktsignal
mischen, was bei Aufnahmen zuhause oder im Studio für enorme Flexibilität sorgt.
Bei Bedarf kann der Speaker-Ausgang zum 'lautlosen' Üben oder für die Aufnahme

stummgeschaltet werden.

Hinzu kommt ein Effekt-Einschleifweg/Loop mit schaltbarem Arbeitspegel, Speaker­Ausgänge für 16- und 8Ω-Lautsprecher, über die Sie eine externe Lautsprecherbox
Ihrer Wahl anschließen, sowie ein stereophoner MP3/Line-Eingang, um Ihre
Lieblings-Songs begleiten zu können – mehr brauchen Sie weder für das Aufnehmen
noch für das Üben.

Vorderseite

1. Eingang

Hier schließen Sie Ihre Gitarre an. Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall hochwertige
geschirmte Gitarrenkabel.

2. Clean Volume

Mit diesem Regler steuern Sie die Lautstärke im Clean-Kanal. Im Uhrzeigersinn
heben Sie die Lautstärke an.

3. Clean Tone

Der Tone-Regler dient zur Balance der Höhen-und Bassanteile im Sound. Bei
niedrigen Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) erhält der Sound einen wärmeren
und dumpferen Charakter. Wenn Sie den Treble-Regler im Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen,
wird der Sound immer höhenreicher.

4. Overdrive Select

Mit diesem Schalter aktivieren Sie den Overdrive-Kanal.

5. Overdrive-Anzeige

Wenn die ROTE LED leuchtet, ist der Overdrive-Kanal angewählt. Wenn die LED

nicht leuchtet, ist der Clean-Kanal aktiv.

6. Overdrive Gain

Mit dem Gain-Regler steuern Sie den Verzerrungsgrad im Overdrive-Kanal. Niedrige
Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) liefern einen cleanen Sound mit viel
Druck und Durchsetzungsvermögen. Wenn der Gain-Regler aufgedreht wird (im

7. Overdrive Volume

Mit diesem Regler steuern Sie die Lautstärke im Overdrive-Kanal. Im Uhrzeigersinn
heben Sie die Lautstärke an.

8. Bass (OD-Kanal)

Der Bass-Regler steuert den Anteil der Bassfrequenzen im Gesamt-Sound. Dieser
Verstärker bietet eine umfangreiche Klangregelung, mit der Sie den Ton zwischen
knackig und aggressiv oder warm und druckvoll (im Uhrzeigersinn) einstellen können.

9. Middle (OD-Kanal)

Der Mitten-Regler steuert den Anteil der Mittenfrequenzen im Gesamt-Sound. Die
Mitten sind insbesondere für den Grundsound entscheidend. In der Minimalposition
(komplett gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) ist der Sound sehr aggressiv und hohl, was sich

speziell für knackige Rhythmus-Parts eignet. Wenn der Mitten-Regler angehoben

wird (im Uhrzeigersinn), nimmt der Grundton-Anteil zu, was sich für singende Lead­Gitarren-Sounds empehlt.

10. Treble (OD-Kanal)

Mit dem Regler Treble können Sie gezielt den Höhenanteil im Gesamt-Sound
einstellen. Bei niedrigen Einstellungen (gegen den Uhrzeigersinn) erhält der Sound
einen wärmeren und dunkleren Charakter. Wenn der Treble-Regler angehoben wird
(im Uhrzeigersinn), wird der Sound immer höhenreicher. In der Maximalposition
klingt der Sound schließlich aggressiv und schneidend.

11. ISF (Innite Shape Feature)

Der ISF-Regler arbeitet mit den Reglern für Bass, Middle und Treble zusammen. Mit
seiner Hilfe nden Sie die genau die Klangfärbung, die Sie suchen. Bei Einstellungen
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn besitzt der Amp einen “amerikanischen” Sound-Charakter
mit einem straffen Bassfundament und aggressiveren Mitten. Bei Einstellungen im
Uhrzeigersinn erzeugt der Amp einen “britischen” Sound, der deutlich erdiger und

weniger aggressiv klingt.

12. Reverb (nur HT-5R, HT-5RH und HT-5210)

Mit dem Reverb-Regler wird die Gesamtlautstärke des Reverb-Effekts ausgesteuert.
Im Linksanschlag des Reglers ist kein Reverb hörbar. Wenn der Regler im
Uhrzeigersinn aufgedreht wird, nimmt der Reverb-Anteil zu. Wie die HT-Venue-Serie

und der HT-1R verfügen die Modelle HT-5R, HT-5RH und HT-5210 über ein Digital-

Reverb, das dem Sound Tiefe verleiht.

13. Power-Leuchte

Die Power-Kontrollleuchte ist aktiv, wenn Sie den Verstärker einschalten.

14. Standby

Dieser Schalter aktiviert die Endstufe und damit die Ausgabe über den internen
Lautsprecherausgang. Schalten Sie diesen Schalter frühestens 30 Sekunden nach
dem Power-Schalter (15) ein. Für Aufnahmen oder das Üben ohne Sound stellen Sie
diesen Schalter in die Standby-Position. Dadurch wird die Endstufe deaktiviert und
der Sound nur noch über den emulierten Ausgang ausgegeben.

15. Power

Mit diesem Schalter schalten Sie den Verstärker ein bzw. aus. Aktivieren Sie diesen
Schalter in jedem Fall VOR dem Standby-Schalter (14).

Rückseite

1. Netzanschluss

Hier wird das mitgelieferte Kaltgerätenetzkabel angeschlossen. Das Kabel muss
an einer Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden, die in punkto Spannung, Leistung
und Netzfrequenz den auf der Rückseite vermerkten Spezikationen entspricht. Im
Zweifelsfall wenden Sie sich an einen qualizierten Techniker/Elektriker.

2. Lautsprecher-Ausgänge

Bei dem Modell HT-5210 dient der mit ‚1x16 Ohm‘ beschriftete Ausgang zum

Anschluss einer einzelnen, externen 16-Ohm-Lautsprecherbox. Die mit ‚1x8 Ohm

3. Speaker Emulated Output & Headphones

Dieser Ausgang emuliert den Klangcharakter einer Gitarren-Lautsprecherbox
und sorgt in Kombination mit einem Aufnahmegerät, einem Mischpult oder im
Kopfhörerbetrieb für eine natürliche Röhren-Übersteuerung. Verwenden Sie in
jedem Fall hochwertige geschirmte Gitarrenkabel. Um das Stereo-Reverb zu nutzen,
schließen Sie ein Split-Kabel mit einem Stereoklinkenstecker an, der das Signal
auf zwei Monostecker verteilt, um zwei Kanäle Ihres Aufnahmegeräts oder eines
Mixers anzusteuern (siehe Abbildung unten). Der Ausgang kann aber auch mit
einem einfachen Monokabel abgegriffen werden. Verwenden Sie in jedem Fall ein

hochwertiges geschirmtes Kabel.

4. Cabinet-Schalter

Mit diesem Schalter können Sie die Emulation einer geschlossenen 4x12-er
oder einer auf der Rückseite offenen 1x12-Box für den Speaker Emulated
Output anwählen.

5. Fußschalter

Hier wird der mitgelieferte Fußschalter angeschlossen. Mit dem Fußschalter können
Sie zwischen den Kanälen Clean und Overdrive umschalten. Zum Betrieb des
Fußschalters darf der Schalter Overdrive Select (4) am Verstärker nicht aktiv sein.

6. Effects Loop Send

Hier schließen Sie den (Mono-) Eingang eines externen Effektgeräts an.

7. Effects Loop Return

Hier schließen Sie den (Mono-) Ausgang eines externen Effektgeräts an.

8. Effects Loop Level

Mit dem Schalter Effect Loop Level können Sie den Effekt-Loop wahlweise mit
+4dBV oder -10dBV betreiben: Entsprechend können Sie professionelles Equipment
(Einstellung+4dBV) oder Effektpedale mit einem für Gitarren ausgelegten Pegel
(Einstellung -10dBV) anschließen.

9. MP3/Line-Eingang

An dieser Buchse schließen Sie den Ausgang Ihres MP3-oder CD-Spielers an. Zum
Üben passen Sie die Lautstärke der externen Quelle an den Pegel Ihrer Gitarre an.

Caractéristiques

Le HT-5 est l’ampli de studio et d’entraînement ultime, il intègre le super son et les

innovations de la série HT Pedals qui ont reçu de nombreuses récompenses le tout
dans un ampli 5 Watts 2 canaux footswitchables !

Le procédé ISF vous permet de choisir votre grain de son entre les caractéristiques

du son anglais et celles du son américain, ainsi que toutes les possibilités

situées entre ces deux références de l’amplication guitare ! Vous pourrez donc
véritablement trouver ‘the sound in your head’ (le son que vous avez en tête).

La création du HT-5 résulte du besoin des guitaristes à jouer à la maison et en
studio, le but était de développer un ampli à lampes jouissant d’une dynamique
lampe même à faible volume. Une fois ce concept en tête l’équipe Blackstar à créé
ce tout nouvel ampli lampe. L’ampli HT-5 est un ampli push-pull faible puissance
produisant les sonorités d’un ampli 100W à un volume moindre.

Ceci étant possible grâce à l’usage d’une triode 12BH7 produisant une puissance

de sortie de 5 Watts, riche en harmoniques et compression.

Le HT-5 embarque aussi une sorite ‘Emulated stereo Output’ permettant d’envoyer

ce pur son lampes directement dans un système d’enregistrement ou un casque.
Cette sortie émulée dispose aussi d’un switch 4x12 ou 1x12 vous permettant de
choisir parmi ses deux possibilités.

La sortie stéréo de simulation de haut-parleur peut-être utilisée en conjonction avec
le haut-parleur interne/ bafe d’extension apportant la possibilité de « monitorer » le

son de l’ampli au casque ou d’avoir le choix de combiner le son d’une prise micro
captant le haut-parleur avec la sortie émulée pour un résultat saisissant, que ce soit
pour les répétitions ou le studio. De plus, la sortie interne du haut parleur de l’ampli
peut-être coupée quand l’enregistrement ou la répétition silencieuse est de mise.

Ajoutez à cela une boucle d’effet switchable, une sortie vers un bafe externe 16Ω
ou 8Ω, Et une entrée stéréo/ ligne MP3 vous permet de jouer et vous accompagner

sur vos morceaux favoris, et vous avez devant vous l’ampli d’entraînement et de
répétition ultime !

1. Entrée Hi

11. ISF (Innite Shape Feature)

Le contrôle ISF fonctionne en conjunction sur le Basses, Medium et Aigues. Il

vous permet de choisir la signature sonore qui vous convient le mieux. Des sons

américains à gauche aux sons anglais à droite.

2. Clean Volume

Ce bouton contrôle le Volume du canal Clean. Tournez le dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre an d’augmenter le volume.

3. Clean Tone

Le contrôle de tonalité permet d’ajuster le caractère du son avec un balayage entre
fréquences graves et aigues. Si le potentiomètre est réglé sur la première partie de
sa course, le son est plus épais et chaleureux, au fur et à mesure que l’on tourne

celui-ci dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre, le son devient plus clair et détaillé.

4. Overdrive Select

Pressez ce bouton pour sélectionner le canal Overdrive.

5. Overdrive Indicator

Quand la diode est rouge le canal Overdrive est sélectionné. Quand la diode est
éteinte le canal clair est activé.

6. Overdrive Gain

Le Bouton Gain vous permet d’ajuster le niveau d’overdrive ou de distorsion du
canal. Réglé complètement à gauche, vous obtiendrez un son clean hors du
commun. Lorsque vous tournerez le bouton dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre

le son deviendra crunch puis distordu.

7. Overdrive Volume

Ce bouton contrôle le volume du Canal Overdrive. Le tourner dans le sens des

aiguilles d’une montre augmente le volume.

8. Bass (OD Channel)

Le bouton Bass vous permet d’ajuster le niveau de fréquences basses dans votre

son. Cet ampli intègre un circuit de réglages des basses avancé vous permettant
de manière précise.

9. Middle (OD Channel)

Le bouton Medium vous permet de régler le niveau de frequencies Medium dans

votre son, dessinant ainsi le corps de votre son. Auche votre son sera agressif, idéal

pour une séquence rythmique. Réglé plus à droite, le niveau augmentera et le son
deviendra optimal pour des séquences ‘lead’.

10. Treble (OD Channel)

Le Bouton Treble (aigu) vous permet à son tour, de régler les frequences aigues.
A un niveau faible le son sera chaud et sombre, au fur et à mesure que vous

l’augmenter le son deviendra de plus en plus brillant. A son maximum, les sonorités
seront tranchantes et agressives.

12. Reverb (HT-5R, HT-5RH et HT-5210 seulement)

Le contrôle ‘Reverb’ dénit le niveau global de l'effet de réverbération. Avec le
contrôle au minimum il n'y aura pas de réverbération. En tournant le bouton dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre cela augmente le niveau de réverbération. Les HT-

5R, HT-5RH et HT-5210 disposent du même module de réverbération numérique

que les amplis de la série HT Venue et HT-1, ajoutant une profondeur riche à tout

style de jeu.

13. Power Indicator Light

Cet indicateur vous informe que l’ampli est allumé.

14. Standby

Ce switch applique la haute tension requise pour fournir le son. Veuillez toujours

tourner ce switch 30 secondes après le Power Switch.

Lors de brèves pauses, utilisez ce switch pour ‘éteindre’ et ‘allumer’ votre ampli.

15. Power

Ce switch vou permet d’allumer ou éteindre votre ampli. Veillez à activer ce switch
avant d’activer le switch Stand By.

Panneau arrière

1. Entrée Secteur

L’alimentation secteur doit être branchée ici. Elle doit être connectée à une source
compatible en voltage, puissance et fréquence dénies sur le panneau arrière. En
cas de doute, veuillez faire appel à un technicien qualié.

2. Sorties Haut-parleurs

Pour le HT-5210 la sortie marquée '1 Ohm x16 ' est destinée au raccordement

d'une seule enceinte 16 ohms externe. Les sorties marquées '1 x8 Ohm’ ou ‘2x16
Ohm’ sont destinées au raccordement soit d'un bafe d’extension unique de 8
ohms, des haut-parleurs internes du HT-5210, ou de deux bafes d’extension 16
ohms. Les haut-parleurs internes du HT-5210 ne doivent pas être utilisés avec un
bafe d’extension. Voir le tableau ci-dessous.

de l’appareil de sorte qu’il s’accorde avec le volume de votre guitare et vous permettre un
accompagnement aisé.

3. Speaker Emulated Output & Headphones

Cette sortie simule les caractéristiques sonores d’un bafe guitare et fournit un son
ideal pour être connecté à du materiel d’enregistrement, une table de mixage ou un

casque. Pour exploiter pleinement la reverb stéréo, utilisez une bretelle en "Y" avec

un jack stéréo vers deux jacks mono pour entrer dans deux canaux de l'enregistreur
ou de la table de mixage (voir schéma ci-dessous). La sortie fonctionnera aussi avec

un câble mono de type guitare. Utilisez toujours un câble blindé de bonne qualité.

Características

El HT-5 es el ampli denitivo para estudio y práctica, conteniendo el gran tono y las
innovadoras características de los premiados pedales de válvula HT en un formato
de ampli de válvulas de dos canales conmutables (footswitch).

El circuito patentado ISF (Innite Shape Feature) proporciona un ajuste innito de
las características de control de tono y te lleva desde USA hasta UK y cualquier

punto entre medias.

Por lo tanto ahora puedes diseñar efectivamente tu propio tono y por n encontrar

“el sonido en tu cabeza”.

Al hacer el HT-5 ideal para uso en casa y estudio, la meta fue diseñar un ampli

de válvulas que sonara lleno y con buen tono incluso a volúmenes bajos. Con
esto en mente, el equipo de diseño de Blackstar creó una topología de etapa de
amplicación de válvulas completamente nueva. La etapa de amplicación del

HT-5 es un diseño push-pull de baja potencia que produce el crujido y rotura

característicos de una etapa tradicional de 100 W pero a volumen mucho más bajo.
Esto se consigue con el uso de un doble triodo 12BH7 en conguración push-pull
produciendo 5 W de salida, con gran riqueza de armónicos y compresión de válvula.

El HT-5 tambien tiene una salida de simulación de altavoz completa lo que aumenta
sus credenciales en el estudio y permite a cualquier guitarrista conseguir alucinantes

tonos de válvula directamente a cinta o disco o con auriculares. También tiene el

interruptor 4x12/1x12 que permite cambiar las características tonales de la señal

emulada entre dos tipos de simulación de pantalla. La salida simulada se puede

usar conjuntamente con la salida de altavoz, permitiendo la escucha sin auriculares
o dando la opción de mezclar un altavoz microfoneado y la señal simulada para
una total versatilidad al grabar en casa o en el estudio. Adicionalmente, la salida de
altavoz se puede desconectar para practicar o grabar en silencio.

Añade a ésto un bucle de efectos con nivel conmutable junto con salidas de altavoz
de 8 y 16 ohmios, y una entrada de línea estéreo o MP3 permitiéndote improvisar

mientras escuchas tu música favorita, lo que te permite usar un altavoz externo de

tu elección y así tienes todo lo que necesitas para grabar o practicar.

Panel frontal

1. Input

Enchufa tu guitarra aquí. Usa siempre un cable apantallado de calidad.

2. Clean Volume

Controla el volumen del canal limpio. Girándolo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj

aumenta el volumen.

3. Clean Tone

El control de tono permite ajustar la respuesta de agudos y graves en el sonido.

En ajustes bajos (sentido anti-horario) el sonido tendrá un carácter más cálido y
oscuro. A medida que se incrementa el ajuste en sentido horario el sonido se volverá
más brillante.

4. Selector de Overdrive

Aprieta este botón para seleccionar el canal Overdrive.

5. Indicador de Overdrive

Cuando el LED rojo está encendido, el canal saturado (Overdrive) ha sido
seleccionado. Cuando el LED está apagado, el canal limpio (Clean) está

en funcionamiento.

6. Overdrive Gain

El control GAIN ajusta la cantidad de distorsión o saturación del canal Overdrive.

Ajustes bajos, en sentido contrahorario, proporcionan sonido limpio justo a punto

de romper. A medida que el control GAIN aumenta, sentido horario, el sonido se
vuelve más saturado moviendose a través de tonos crujientes hasta, en su máxima

posición, un tono de distorsión llena adecuado para solos.

7. Overdrive Volume

Controla el volumen del canal Overdrive. Girándolo en sentido horario aumenta
el volumen.

10. Treble (OD Channel)

El control TREBLE permite ajustar exactamente las frecuencias agudas del sonido.
En ajustes bajos (sentido contrahorario) el sonido será caliente y de carácter oscuro.
Si se aumenta el control TREBLE (girando en sentido horario) el sonido se vuelve
más brillante. En ajustes máximos el sonido será agresivo y cortante.

11. ISF (Innite Shape Feature)

El control USF trabaja en conjunción con los de TREBLE, MIDDLE y BASS. Permite
elegir exactamente la rma tonal que preeras. Totalmente cerrado (sentido
contrahorario) tiene un carácter más americano con graves apretados y medios
más agresivos. Totalmente abierto (sentido horario) tiene una carácter británico que
suena más a madera y menos agresivo.

12. Reverb (Sólo HT-5R, HT-5RH and HT-5210)

El control Reverb ajusta la cantidad de nivel de efecto de reverberación. Con el

control girado totalmente en sentido anti-horario no habrá reverberación. Al girar el
control en sentido horario aumentará la cantidad de reverberación. El HT-5R, HT­5RH y el HT-5210 incorporan la reverberación digital usada en los HT Venue Series

y HT-1R, añadiendo una amplia profundidad a cualquier estilo.

13. Luz de Indicador de Encendido

Se ilumina cuando el amplicador está conectado.

14. Standby

Este interruptor habilita el funcionamiento de la etapa potencia y de la salida de
altavoz. Enciéndelo siempre al menos 30 segundos después del interruptor

“Power” (15). Para una grabación silenciosa o para practicar este interruptor debe
estar en la posición de “Standby”. Esto desactivará la etapa de potencia, pero
la salida simulada seguirá funcionando.

15. Power

Se utiliza este interruptor para conectar/desconectar el amplicador. SIEMPRE se
debe conectar este interruptor ANTES QUE el de STANDBY (14).

8. Bass (OD Channel)

El control BASS ajusta la cantidad de frecuencias bajas en tu sonido. Este ampli

tiene un circuito de modelado de tono avanzado que permite que suene apretado
y cortante girando en sentido contrahorario, caliente y arrollador girando el control
en sentido horario.

9. Middle (OD Channel)

El control MIDDLE ajusta la cantidad de frecuencias medias en tu sonido. Las

frecuencias medias son particularmente importantes para ajustar la cantidad de

“cuerpo” que va a tener tu sonido. Con el control MIDDLE en su ajuste mínimo
(sentido contrahorario) el sonido será agresivo y “scooped” (ecualización en V)
un sonido ideal para rítmicas agresivas. Girando el control MIDDLE en sentido
horario, la cantidad de “cuerpo” aumenta, lo cual resulta más adecuado para solos

con mayor “sustain”.

Panel Trasero

1. Entrada de corriente

El cable de alimentación incluido se conecta aquí. El cable solamente debe
conectarse en una toma de alimentación compatible con los requisitos de voltaje,

potencia y frecuencia representados en el panel trasero del amplicaor. En caso de
duda pide consejo a un técnico cualicado.

2. Salidas de altavoz

Para el HT-5210 la salida marcada como ‘1x16 Ohm’ es para la conexión de una

sola pantalla de altavoz externa de 16 ohmios. Las salidas marcadas como ‘1x8

Ohm or 2x16 Ohm’ son para la conexión de una pantalla de 8 ohmios, los altavoces

internos del HT-5210 ó dos pantallas externas de 16 ohmios. Los altavoces internos

del HT-5210 no se deben usar junto a una pantalla externa. Ver tabla más abajo.

Para todos los amplicadores de la familia HT-5 la salida de altavoz marcada

como ‘1x16 Ohm’ es para la conexión de una sola pantalla externa ó el altavoz
interno de un HT-5 combo. Las salidas marcadas como ‘1x8 Ohm ó 2x16 Ohm’

son para la conexión de una pantalla externa de 8 ohmios ó dos pantallas de 16
ohmios. También, el altavoz interno del HT-5 combo se puede conectar aquí si

4. Interruptor Cabinet

Te permite seleccionar una simulación de pantalla 4x12” cerrada o 1x12” abierta
para la salida de simulación de altavoz.

5. Footswitch

El interruptor “Overdrive Select” (4) debe estar presionado para permitir el

funcionamiento del pedal.

6. Envío del Bucle de Efectos

Conecta aquí la entrada de una unidad de efectos (MONO).

7. Retorno del Bucle de Efectos

Conecta aquí la salida de una unidad de efectos (MONO).

8. Nivel del Bucle de Efectos

Este interruptor comuta el nivel del bucle entre +4dBV/-10dBV lo que permite usarlo
tanto con equipo profesional (+4dBV ) como efectos en formato pedal (-10dBV).

3. Salida de auriculares y Simulación de Altavoz

Esta salida simula las características tonales de una pantalla de guitarra y

proporciona un sonido de saturación natural de válvula para conectar a un aparato

de grabación o una mesa de mezclas y para usar con auriculares. Usa siempre

un cable apantallado de calidad. Para aprovechar al máximo la reverberación del

estéreo, usa un cable con divisor con un jack estéreo en un extremo y dos jack
mono en el otro para abastecer dos canales de grabación o mezcla (ver diagrama

inferior). La salida también funcionará con un cable mono para guitarra. Utiliza

siempre cables blindados de buena calidad.
