CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR PURCHASE!
Café Select™ is both a carafe and Pod coffeemaker,
all-in-one, so you can customize your brew the way you want it.
1. WASH YOUR CAFÉ SELECT™
BEFORE USING
Before first use, hand wash carafe and run just water
through the unit a couple of times. See USE AND CARE
manual for more information.
2. ADD WATER
Add the desired amount of water to the removable water
reservoir. Ensure the reservoir is filled above the "MIN" fill
line and not past the "MAX" fill line.
3. TURN POWER ON
Plug in your Café Select™ and press the power button.
The power button will blink during the self-check process.
Once process is complete, the power button will remain
lit and in ready mode.
4. SELECT YOUR BREWING METHOD
Note: the Café Select™ will only brew from either the
carafe side or single serve side at any given time.
CARAFE
BREW UP TO 12 CUPS
Place #4 paper cone
filter into the brew
basket above carafe
Add one tablespoon
of ground coffee per
cup, or to taste
Select your
brew strength,
REG (regular) or
ROBUSTO, to start
your brew cycle!
Keep-hot plate will
remain on for 2 hours
BREW THE WAY YOU WANT
SINGLE SERVE
BREW DIRECTLY INTO MUG
GROUND
COFFEE
Place gray ground
coffee adapter
into the right top
chamber
Fill desired
amount of ground
coffee into gray
single serve filter
and place filter
into adapter
(We recommend 1½
Tbs for 6 oz.; add
½ Tbs per higher
setting)
PODS
CAUTION: avoid the
sharp needle in the
single serve Pod adapter
Insert black Pod adapter into the
right top chamber
Place Pod into the adapter
Push single serve lid down firmly
until it locks into place
DO NOT remove or puncture the
foil lid of the Pod
DO NOT open the single serve lid
while heating or brewing
Remove used Pod after brewing
CAUTION: Pod will be hot
SELECT YOUR BREW SIZE TO BEGIN
BREW CYCLE
Note: when brewing 12, 16, or 20 oz., the unit will pause
mid-cycle for a few seconds and then start again.
Wait until selection light is off, indicating
brewing cycle is finished.
