Mounting and wiring
A 9 V adapter with fixed voltage and a 3,5 mm stereo jack serves as power supply (external positive pole).
Connect the stereo jack with the monitor and plug the adapter into the power socket.
It is recommendable to mount the monitor at eye level right above the workstation by using, for example, Velcro.
The black ground conductor of the monitor must be connected to the protective conductor of a second power socket by using, for example, a BJZ grounding box.
Finally, the wrist strap is attached to the monitor.
Function
Place the switch in direction of the word "Aktiv". If the wrist strap is applied correctly, the "Safe" - LED will be illuminated.
If the red "Fault" - LED is flashing and a warning signal can be heard, this may have the following reasons:
the wrist strap has been removed
there is no connection between the ground and the monitor
the wrist strap is damaged
the coil cord is damaged
Identify the reason of the alert and fix the problem. If the person connected to the monitor wants to leave the workstation, the switch
must be placed in direction of the word "Stand by". In this case the warning signal is not actuated, but the flashing "Fault" - LED reminds the person to put on the wrist strap again.
Approach in case of failure
Check the wiring and wrist strap for functional capability. If necessary calibrate the monitor.

Adjustment
When using grounding cords with 1 x 10 box should be regulated to 3 x 10

.
When using grounding cords with other protective resistance, the resistance box should be regulated to + 2 x 10

.
Connect the monitor to the power supply and place the switch in direction of "Aktiv". By means of a screw driver the potentiometer can be reached through the borehole saying "Adj." Adjust the potentiometer until the LED switches from red to green, when using the appropriate resistance. If necessary, the borehole can be sealed after adjustment.
