WARNING
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you aren’t sure if the outlet is properly grounded. DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance is designed for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding attachment plug that looks like the plug in the illustration. Make certain that the appliance is connected to an outlet with the same configuration as the plug. No plug adapter should be used with this appliance.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be connected to a grounded wiring system. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a safe path of least resistance for electrical current, reducing the risk of electrical shock. The cord for this appliance has an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. It must only be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

1. Remove tank from the back
of the machine by lifting the Clean Tank Carry Handle.
4. Add 60 mL/2oz of BISSELL
formula to the tank.
2. Unscrew the black cap and
remove bottle insert.
5. Place bottle insert back into
tank and tighten the black cap.
3. Fill tank with hot tap water
(140° F/60° C MAX) to the water fill line.
6. Place the tank back onto
the machine.

Before You Clean
1. Vacuum to remove loose dirt from area to be cleaned.
2. Spray any BISSELL® stain pretreat formula to soiled areas or stains.
Choose Your Desired Tool

3. Allow to sit for at least 3 minutes.

Great for carpet stains, furniture and other hard-to-reach surfaces.

Best for narrow spaces and crevices that are hard to reach.
Attaching and Using the Tool
1. Release the hose by
twisting the secure latch.
2. Attach your desired tool to
the Hose Grip until you hear a “click”.
Deep Stain/Pet Stain Tool
Deep injection technology cleans the carpet from the bottom up to quickly and thoroughly remove stains.
3. Twist the Quick Release™
Cord Wrap and unwind the cord to plug into outlet.
Stain Trapper Tool
Messes are collected and stored in a separate, removable container, keeping pet and other liquid messes out of your machine.
4. Press the Power Button ON. 5. Point the tool approximately
1 inch above the spot or stain and press the Spray Trigger.
NOTE: When using the Deep Stain Tool, always keep the tool in direct contact with carpeting to avoid over-spraying.

6. Release the Spray Trigger
and use the bristles to scrub the area. To lift away the stain, apply downward pressure while moving the tool slowly toward you.
