Read these Operating Instructions carefully to make yourself familiar with your new
telephone. Please keep the Operating Instructions for further reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using your kettle, the following basic safety precautions should always be
followed:
Do not clean the unit using chemical solvents, abrasive materials and aerosol cleaners
– as they may ooze into the telephone and become a cause of damages that are not
covered by the warranty. If necessary, use a damp cloth for cleaning.
Do not expose the phone to high temperatures, humidity and direct sunlight.
We have done everything to make this phone meet the requirements of the quality
standards. However, if some malfunction occurs, please do not try to repair it by
yourself.
Do not install this unit near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, or other sources of high humidity. Electrical equipment may be a cause of serious
injuries if you use it whilst being wet or standing in water.
If you have dropped the base unit into water, do not touch it until after you unplug
the AC adapter from the AC outlet; then take it out by the disconnected cords.
Special safety precautions
This unit uses chemical DC power sources. Please read and follow these special safety
precautions during their use:
Before using the batteries and rechargeable batteries carefully read instructions on
their use;
To charge the rechargeable batteries, use only the charger units recommended by
the manufacturer.
Do not allow children to use the units.
Do not use batteries with visible oxidation marks;
If the oxidation products get into your eyes or on to skin immediately rinse with large
amounts of water; in case of accidental swallowing – drink large amounts of water
and induce vomiting, then call the doctor;
Do not use new and old batteries simultaneously;
Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire. They may explode;
Check with the local waste management codes for special disposal instructions;
Do not open or mutilate the batteries;
The electrolyte may be toxic if swallowed.
Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the battery with conductive
materials such as rings, bracelets, keys, etc. The battery and/or conductor may
overheat and cause burns.

INSTALLING AND
CONNECTING
1. Connect one end of the phone line cord [24] to the phone line jack [22] on the base
unit [12], and the other – to the phone line socket.
2. Insert the AC adapter [23] cable plug into its jack [21] on the base unit [12]. Insert
the AC adapter [23] cable plug into the wall socket of your electric mains (220V AC).
3. Insert the AC adapter [23] cable plug into its jack [26] on the charger [23], insert the
AC adapter [21] cable plug into the wall socket of your electric mains (220V AC).
4. Install the battery [18] into its compartment [19] in the handset [1], close the
compartment [19] with the battery compartment cover [20].
5. Place the handset [1] on the base unit [12] and on the charger [25]. Before the
first use you should fully charge the battery, so let the battery charge
for 10 hours.
Notes:
1. When charging an almost discharged battery, at first the charging process is the
most intensive, after that the intensity of the process decreases to a slow recharging.
During the first stage the handset becomes warm, this is normal and not dangerous.
The handset will return to normal temperature during the process of slow charging.
2. For maximum distance and noise free operation, place the base unit in a high and
central location far away from electric appliances, such as refrigerator’s, PC’s, TV
set’s, or other telephones”.
The Oval series handset will not operate without an external power supply from
your electrical network. Therefore, to make an emergency call in case of power failure,
you will have to use another telephone that does not need an external power supply.

Setting handset date and time
1. Press the OK button [7] to enter the menu. The LCD will display: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Using the button [6] select the “HANDSET” menu item.
3. Press the OK button [7] to confirm.
4. Using the button [6] select the “DATE/TIME” menu item.
5. Press the OK button [7], the date’s first digit will start to flash.
6. Using the dialing buttons [11] enter 2 digits corresponding to the current day of
month. The next two digits, designating the month number, will start to flash.
7. Using the dialing buttons [11] enter 2 digits corresponding to the current month
number. The next two digits, designating the current hour, will start to flash.
8. Use the dialing buttons [11] to enter 2 digits corresponding to the current hour number.
The next two digits, designating the current minute, will start to flash.
9. Using the dialing buttons [11] enter 2 digits corresponding to the current minute.
10.Press the OK button [7] to confirm.

MAKING CALLS
Making calls
1. Press the CALL button [4] and wait for dial tone. The LCD [2] will light and show the
“EXT” symbol.
2. Dial a number using the dialing buttons [11].
3. Start conversation when the second party answers
4. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12]. The “EXT” symbol will disappear from the LCD [2].
Preliminary dialing
The preliminary dialing feature allows you to enter and edit the number entered just
before calling.
1. In standby mode (i.e. when the phone is not in use) enter a number (no more than
25 digits). If the number consists of more than 12 digits, the LCD [2] will show the
last 12 digits.
2. If you entered a wrong digit, you can erase it by pressing the CANCEL button [9].
3. If you want to delete all the entered digits, press and hold the CANCEL button [9] for
3 seconds. Your phone will switch to the standby mode.
4. Press the CALL button [4]. The phone will start dialing the number you entered.
5. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].

Answering external calls
– On incoming call the base unit [12] and the handset [1] will start ringing. The “In
Use” indicator [14] will flash. The LCD [2] will light and show the “EXT” symbol.
– If you phone network support the “CALLER ID” feature, LCD will show the caller’s
number, and after pressing the OK [7] button – the call date and time.
1. Press the CALL button [4] to answer the call.
2. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].
Internal outgoing call
For Oval Twin XD1220 model:
1. Press the CANCEL/INT button [9].
2. Enter the handset number you are calling.
3. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].
Call transferring
For Oval Twin XD1220 model:
1. During conversation, press the CANCEL/INT button [9].
2. Enter the handset number you want to transfer the call to.
3. Press the CALL button [4]. The call will be transferred and your handset will switch to
the standby mode.
4. If the handset you have transferred the call to does not answer, press the CANCEL/
INT button [9] once again to resume conversation.
Hands free feature
This feature may be used in two ways:
1. Switching to the Speakerphone mode.
2. Using a headset.
Switching to the speakerphone mode during
conversation
1. To switch to the Speakerphone mode during conversation, press the button [3].
You do not have to hold the handset near your ear at that.
2. Press the
button [3] once again to cancel the Speakerphone mode. Now you will
have to hold the handset near your ear again.
3. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].

Making calls in the speakerphone mode
1. Press the CALL button [4].
2. Press the
button [3].
3. When the dial tone is heard, dial a number.
To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].
Redialing
Your phone stores in its memory 10 last dialed numbers (no more than 25 digits
each). You can select any one of them to be redialed.
1. Press the button [5]. The LCD [2] will show the last dialed number.
2. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the number you need.
3. Press OK button [7]. If there is an entry with this number in the phone book, the LCD
[2] will display the name for that entry and if this is not a case, the LCD will show only
the number.
4. If the number you need is not in the last dialed numbers list, press the CANCEL [9] to
exit this menu item.
5. To dial the selected number, press the CALL button [4] when the number you need is
on LCD [2].
6. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].
Making your conversation mute
During a call, you can use the mute function so that another party cannot hear you.
When using the mute function, you can hear the other party.
1. During conversation, press the MUTE button [8]. LCD [2] will show the corresponding
icon.
2. Press the MUTE button [8] once again to resume the normal conversation mode.
FLASH function
The FLASH button [10] may be used to finish the conversation immediately and to
start dialing a new number. If the phone is connected to a PBX, you can use this button
according to the PBX Operating instructions.
Pause
To insert a pause during dialing (e.g. when dialing a long distance number stored in
the phone book), press and hold the button [5] for 3 seconds.
Adjusting the handset speaker or speakerphone
volume during conversation
During conversation, you can use the [5] or [6] buttons to adjust the speaker
volume. LCD will show: “EAR VOL n” (where n – volume level, 1 to 5).

Handset locator
If you cannot find the misplaced handset [1], you may use the handset locator function.
1. Press the button [15]. The handset [1] will start ringing. The “In Use” indicator
[14] will start to flash, and the LCD [2] will display the icon “INT”.
2. To stop the ringing, press the button [15] on the base unit [12] or any dialing
button [11].
Note:
If you do not disable the “Handset locator” function yourself, it will be automatically
disabled in 30 seconds.
Service signals
You may turn any of the service signals on or off.
Setting the buttons beep
You can select whether or not you want to hear a beep sound whenever you press a
button. The factory setting is the beep ON.
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “TONES”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “KEY TONE”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “ON” or “OFF”.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the mode you want. “ON” - the beep is
enabled, “OFF” - the beep is disabled.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection or press the CANCEL button [9] to
exit this menu item.
Battery low signal
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “TONES”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “KEY TONE”.
Adjusting the ringer volume
You can set one of five ringer volume levels or turn it off completely.
1. Press the OK button [7].
2. Press the [6] button, LCD will show: “HANDSET”.
3. Press the OK button [7], LCD will show “TONES”.
4. Press the [6] button, LCD will show: “RING VOL”.
5. Press the OK button [7].
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the speaker volume level you want.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection or press the CANCEL button [9] to
exit this menu item.

Base unit out of range signal
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “TONES”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show “KEY TONE”.
5. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “RANGE”.
6. Press the OK button [7], LCD [2] will show “ON” or “OFF”.
7. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the mode you want. “ON” - the signal is
enabled, “OFF” - disabled.
8. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection or press the CANCEL button [9] to
exit this menu item.
Note:
If during a conversation you are moving away from the base unit [12] and reach its
range limit, you will hear the warning signal (if the above feature is enabled). In this case
you should move closer to the base unit [12]. If not, the connection will be lost.
Phone book
The phone book can store up to 25 telephone numbers. The directory record can
store a telephone number (up to 25 digits) and the associated name (up to 12 characters).
Adding a record to the phone book
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “NAME?”.
4. Enter the name that you want to associate with the number (no more than 12
characters long) using the dialing buttons [11]. Each button is used for entering several
letters and punctuation marks. Each button has the character set it can be used for
entering marked on it or near it. To enter a character, press the corresponding button
repeatedly until the character you need is shown on the LCD. After that, enter the
next character in the same manner. If the character you need is placed under the
same button as the previous one, wait until the cursor moves to the next position. If
the character is under another button, you do not have to wait and you can press it
immediately after the previous one.
If you have entered the wrong character, you can erase it by pressing the CANCEL
button [9].

6. Enter the phone number (up to 25 digits).
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm, the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
8. For adding one more record, repeat steps 3-7. Or press the CANCEL button [9] to
exit this menu item.
Viewing the records of the phone book
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
3. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “LIST”.
4. Press the OK button [7] to confirm.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show the first stored number.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the number you want.
7. Instead of the [5] or [6] buttons, you may use the dialing buttons [11]. When
pressing buttons from 2 to 9, the phone numbers will be displayed with names
beginning with the letter, corresponding to the button pressed.
8. Press the OK button [7] to view the phone number. If the number is longer than 12
digits, the LCD [2] will show the “arrow” icon. Press the [6] button to see other
digits. Press the OK button [7] once again to return to name view.
9. Press the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Note:
You can also access the phone book by pressing the PHONEBOOK/MUTE button [8].
Dialing a number stored in the phone book
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
3. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “LIST”.
4. Press the OK button [7] to confirm.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show the first stored number.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the number you want.
7. Press the OK button [7] to view the phone number.
8. Press the CALL button [4], the phone will start dialing the selected number.
9. To hang up, press the CALL button [4] once again or simply place the handset [1] on
the base unit [12].
Editing a record in the phone book
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
3. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “EDIT”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show the name associated with the first
stored number.

5. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the number you want.
6. Press the OK button [7] to confirm.
7. Using the dialing buttons [11] and the CANCEL button [9], edit the name.
8. Press the OK button [7] when done with the changes. The LCD [2] will show the
phone number.
9. Using the dialing buttons [11] and the CANCEL button [9], edit the number.
10.Press the OK button [7] to confirm.
11.Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Erasing a record from the phone book
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ADD”.
3. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “DELETE”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show the name associated with the first
stored number.
5. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the number you want.
6. Press the OK button [7] to view the stored number.
7. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “CONFIRM?”.
8. Press the OK button [7] to confirm deleting or the CANCEL button [9] to exit this
menu item.
CALLER ID
The Caller ID feature may be available only on some digital telephone stations. Some
telephone companies will charge you for using this service. Consult your telephone
operator to know if this service is available.
If your telephone network supports this feature, you will be able to see the number
and/or name of the calling party before answering the call; this information is stored in
the incoming calls list.
Service messages appearing when receiving the
incoming call
If your telephone network supports the “Caller ID” feature, in some cases instead of
calling party information you may see the following messages:
WITHHELD
The calling party disabled its identification.
UNAVAIL
Network failure. The system was not able to identify the calling party.
The callers list
The phone book can store information of up to 24 answered or missed calls. Each
entry can store a telephone number (up to 23 digits) and the associated name (up to 10
characters).

Viewing the callers list
1. Press the [6] button.
2. The LCD [2] will show the information on received calls. If the caller list is empty, the
LCD [2] will display the word “EMPTY”.
3. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the entry you want.
4. Press the OK button [7], The LCD [2] will show the caller’s number.
5. Press the OK button [7] once again to see the call date and time.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, you may view any other entry in the callers list.
7. Press the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Deleting an entry from the callers list
1. Press the [6] button.
2. The LCD [2] will show the information on received calls.
3. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, select the entry you want.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show the caller’s number.
5. Press the OK button [7] once again to see the call date and time.
6. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “DELETE?”.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm or the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.

Voice messages
This feature is available only if it is supported by your telephone company. When a
new message appears in your telephone network mailbox, the LCD [2] displays the
appropriate icon. To listen to the voice messages you should call the telephone network
operator. The icon will disappear after you listened to all of the new messages in your
mailbox.
Note:
In case of power supply breakage the icon will disappear even if you have not listened
to the messages.

Changing the LCD language

Changing the disconnect timeout (the FLASH feature)

2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “BASE”, then press the
OK button [7].

3. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “RECALL”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “RECALL: X” (X = disconnect timeout
settings, 1 to 5: 1=80 ms, 2=100ms, 3=180 ms, 4=300 ms, 5=600 ms).
5. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, choose the appropriate disconnect timeout setting.
6. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
7. Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Changing the pause duration
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “BASE”.
3. Press the OK button [7].
4. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “PAUSE”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PAUSE: X” (X = pause duration
settings, 1 to 5: 1=1 s, 2=1.5 s, 3=2 s, 4=3 s).
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, choose the appropriate pause duration setting.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
8. Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Dialing mode
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “BASE”.
3. Press the OK button [7].
4. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “DIAL MODE”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “TONE”.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, choose the appropriate dialing mode, “TONE” or
“PULSE”.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
8. Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Keypad lock
You can lock the handset keypad to prevent the accidental button pressing. It can be
convenient if little children have access to the handset. When the keypad is locked, only the
OK button [7] is functional. You can also answer the incoming call by pressing the CALL
button [4]. During conversation, the lock is disabled, after hanging up it is enabled again.
Locking the keypad
1. Press the OK button [7].
2. Press the “*” button [11].
3. The LCD will display the “keypad locked” icon.
Disabling the keypad lock
1. Press the OK button [7].
2. Press the “*” button [11].
3. The “keypad locked” icon will disappear from the LCD.

Switching the handset on/off
– Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button [9] until the handset turns off.
– To turn the handset on, just press the POWER ON/OFF button [9].
Auto answer
When the auto answer feature is enabled, you can answer the incoming call by just
lifting the handset from the base unit without pressing the CALL button [4].
Enabling the auto answer mode
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button, the LCD [2] will show: “HANDSET”.
3. Press the OK button [7].
4. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “AUTO ANS”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “ON” or “OFF”.
6. Using the [5] or [6] buttons, choose the appropriate mode.
7. Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
8. Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Base unit PIN Code
The base unit PIN code (Personal Identification Number) consists of four digits. The
PIN code is designed for prevention of illegal registration and base unit access. The
PIN code factory preset is 0000.
Changing the base unit PIN code
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “BASE”.
3. Press the OK button [7].
4. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “CHANGE PIN”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PIN?”
6. Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the current 4-digit PIN code (The factory preset
PIN code is 0000).
7. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “NEW PIN”.
8. Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the new 4-digit PIN code
9. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “RETYPE”.
10.Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the new 4-digit PIN code once again.
11.Press the OK button [7] to confirm your selection and go to the previous menu item.
12.Press and hold the CANCEL button [9] to exit this menu item.
Restoring the factory defaults
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.

If you carefully followed the above steps, the factory settings for base unit and the
handset will be restored.
New handset registration
This feature will help you to register a handset to a base unit. You can register 2
handsets to each base unit. Each handset can be registered to four base units. If your
base unit already has two handsets registered, you should cancel one of the registrations
before registering the new handset.
Notes:
1. The handset you received with you package is already registered to your base unit.
This feature is intended for when you want to register another handset or when you
accidentally canceled the registration of your handset.
2. Before registering a handset check that its battery is fully charged and that it is located
near the base unit.
3. You will be able to register only the Oval XD1200 and Oval Twin XD1200 handsets.
At base unit:
Press and hold the button [15] until a beep is heard and the “In Use” indicator [14]
starts to flash. This means that the base unit has switched to the registration mode. It will
stay in this mode for 180 seconds, after that it will automatically return to the normal
mode.
At the handset:
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “REGISTRATION”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “REGISTER”.
4. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “BS 1234” (base units from 1 to 4).
5. Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the base unit number (from 1 to 4). If the digit
entered flashes, this means that another base unit is already registered with this
number.
6. The LCD [2] will show: “PIN?”
7. Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the current 4-digit PIN code (the factory preset
PIN code is 0000).
8. Press the OK button [7] to confirm. Search x (x means base number) will be displayed.
9. When the handset find the related base, it will prompt you the RFPI number of the
base where you intent to register. Press the OK button to confirm this handset to the
base.

Note:
When the handset is registered to a base unit, it gets an assigned number, which is
displayed at the LCD [2] after the handset name and is used for making internal calls.
Selecting the base unit
Each handset can be registered to four base units.
There are two base unit selection modes:
Automatic mode:
The handset will automatically choose the nearest base unit. When the connection to the
base unit is lost or after the electric power failure, the handset starts searching for the
nearest available base unit.
Fixed mode:
When the connection to the base unit is lost or after an electric power failure, the handset
starts searching only for the previously specified base unit.

2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “REGISTRATION”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “REGISTER”.

6. Use the Up button[5]or Down button[6] to select the base number (from 1 to 4) or
AUTO.
7. Press the OK button [7].
8. Press and hold the CANCEL [9] button to exit this menu item.
Canceling handset registration
You can cancel the handset registration to register another handset to the same base
unit.
1. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PHONE BOOK”.
2. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “REGISTRATION”.
3. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “REGISTER”.
4. Press the [6] button repeatedly until the LCD [2] shows: “DEL HS”.
5. Press the OK button [7], the LCD [2] will show: “PIN?”
6. Using the dialing buttons [11], enter the current 4-digit PIN code.
7. Press the OK button [7], “CONFIRM?” will be displayed.
8. Press the OK button [7]. The other handset registered to the base is cancelled.
9. Press and hold the CANCEL [9] button to exit this menu item.
Note:
Each handset can be registered to four base units. If want to register a handset to one
more base unit, you should cancel one of the registrations to one of the base units.
