Please read attentively the present instructions to familiarize
yourself with the operation of the new appliance before its first use. Please retain the instructions for future reference.
SAFETY MEASURES
When using your appliance, the following basic
safety precautions should always be followed:
X To avoid electric shocks, do not immerse the appliance, plug or power cord in water or any other liquids. Do not place the appliance
where it could come into contact with water or other
ter, immediately disconnect it from the mains. Do not use the machine again until it has been serviced by an authorized service center.
X Do not touch the electric cable or the plug of the appliance
with wet hands.
X Do not let children use the appliance without supervision. X This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili­ties, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
X If the power cord plug does not fit to your wall socket,
consult a qualified electrician.
X Use of various adapters may result in damage to the
appliance and termination of warranty.
X Always supervise the appliance while in use. X Always unplug before moving the appliance from one
place to another, cleaning and storing.
X Never pull the cord to disconnect the appliance, instead grasp
the plug and pull it to disconnect.
X Do not allow the cord or the machine itself to come in contact
with hot surfaces.
X Place the appliance and the cable so that nobody may acci-
dentally touch or damage the cable or knock the appliance down.
X Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped, or it has a
damaged power cord or plug. Do not modify or repair the machine yourself. Repairs should only be done by au- thorized service centers.
X Do not dismantle the appliance as improper assembly might
result in an electric shock during the subsequent use of the equipment. Repairs should only be done by authorized service centers.
X This equipment is intended for household use only, not for
commercial or industrial use.
X Please follow all the requirements of this guide. X Do not use the appliance if it has mechanical defects (dents,
cracks etc.), get it checked by the nearest authorized service center.

SAFETY MEASURES
X Make sure that the water level is between the minimum and maximum level before turning the appliance on. Please, remember that the mini­mum water level should be higher than the mini­mum allowed level. X Do not switch the appliance on, if it is not filled with water.
X Allow appliance to cool prior to cleaning and storing. X Disconnect the appliance from the electricity supply before
storage, filling it with water/emptying it or moving it from one place to another.
X The appliance should always be placed on and used on a heat
resistant, horizontal and dry surface.
X To avoid being burnt by hot vapor always close the lid tightly
before use. Avoid exposure to hot vapor.
Warning: never open the appliance cover during operation,
as well as before or immediately after water has boiled.
X Do not fill the appliance with water, if it stands on the base. X Before turning the appliance on, make sure that the lid is
closed.
X Before taking the appliance off the base, make sure it is switched
off.
X Use the appliance only with the supplied base. X Never use the base apart from the appliance. X Do not forget to pour water out of the tray for drops. X Position the appliance properly on the base. Water dispenser
should be directed towards the tray for drops.
X Do not fill the appliance with hot water.
Warning: avoid sharp temperature fluctuations when filling
the appliance with water.

Warning: the appliance is intended for heating water. It is
not allowed to use other liquids.
X Connect the device only to an electrical supply with a protec-
tive earthing. If your socket has no protective earthing, con­tact a qualified specialist. Do not modify the plug and do not use cord adapters.
Warning: electric shocks might occur if the appliance is
plugged into an unearthed power supply.
X Periodically de-scale the appliance. Remember that use of a
heavily scaled appliance might result in its malfunction.
Warning: de-scale the appliance using only specially
designed cleaning agents.
X Do not take the electric cord out of the socket during operation
of the appliance. You should first turn it off.
X After using the appliance let it cool for a few minutes. After

that you can boil water in it again.
X Do not use the device for other purposes, except for what it is
intended.
X Do not use the device outdoor.

BEFORE FIRST USE
X Please, check the condition of the appliance as well as the presence of all parts and compo­nents.
X Following the instructions on use, pour the first five portions of boiled water out to

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fully unwind the power cable of the base and fix it in the special opening on the base (9). Put the base on a flat, dry, horizontal surface.
2. Put the removable tray for drops (7) on the base. The tray capacity of 250 ml is counted for one portion of water.

4. Fill the appliance with clean water after pressing the cover
release button (4). The capacity of water container equals to
1.5 l.
Attention: make sure that the water level is between the
maximum and minimum marks on the water-level scale. Do not switch the appliance on if it contains no water.

Warning: check the correct positioning of the appliance –
the water dispenser (6) should be under the tray for drops.

pressed.
6. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet with the same voltage as indicated on the appliance. Your appliance dispenses 250ml of boiling water each time (approximately equivalent to a stan­dard mug). Place a suitable cup containing a tea bag, coffee, sugar, etc. below the dispensing nozzle (6) on the metal pro­tection cover (8).
7. Switch the appliance on by pressing the power on/off switch
(2). After that, the indicator light on the power on/off switch (2) will flash on as well as the inside backlighting of the water
container (5) to indicate the beginning of the boiling process. Few seconds before the end of the boiling process the power on/off switch (2) will automatically go back to the initial posi­tion.
8. 250ml of boiling water will be dispensed into the cup. Your appliance is now ready to use again. If, after just having boiled, the on/off switch doesn’t stay in the on position, wait a few seconds before trying it again. The appliance should cool down a bit.
Attention: beware of accidentally operating the on/off
switch. If you do, immediately switch it off again.
Attention: if your appliance has been switched on for more
than 15 seconds, hot water will still be dispensed. Do not attempt to move your appliance from the base. Allow the water to escape into the drip tray. Beware of hot water splashing from the drip tray.

Attention: if you have started the boil procedure and then
decide to switch off your appliance, always allow it to stand for 1 minute before removing it from the power base for refilling etc.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Before cleaning or storing disconnect the appliance from the mains supply and wait till it cools completely.
2. To avoid electrical shock, do not place the body of the appliance (1), its base (9) and electrical cord in water. These parts of the ap-

Removing water out of the appliance
1. Press the lid release button (4).
2. Hold your appliance over a sink. Then, tip your appliance upside down (see fig. B,C).
3. Still holding your appliance over the sink, turn it the right side up and allow any water to drain out of the dispensing nozzle (9). See fig. D.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the water has been emptied from your appliance.
5. Store the appliance only after its parts are completely dry.
Attention: if your appliance will not be used for an
extended period (e.g. if you are on holiday), we recommend that you first empty it. Before using your Appliance again, carry out several boil cycles discarding the water each time.
USEFUL ADVICE
In regions with high water hardness it is neces­sary to remove scale from the appliance regularly to keep it in good working order, since excessive scale in the appliance may cause its incorrect op­eration or breakdown.
Frequency of cleaning depends on the degree
quency of the appliance use. If water in your house is hard, we recommend filtering it – it will decrease scale deposit.
Warning: to extend working life of the appliance, de-scale it

De-scaling the appliance
1. Check the correct positioning of the appliance (see the section
«INSTRUCTIONS ON USE», points 1-3).
2. Fill your appliance to the MAX fill level and place an empty cup
on the drip tray (8).
3. Set the on/off switch (2) to the on position and wait for the
water to be dispensed into the cup.
4. Add a citric acid-based proprietary descaling product to the hot water in the cup and stir.
5. Open the cover (3) by pressing the button (4) and pour the content of the cup into the water container (5). Close the cover.
6. Place the empty cup on the drip tray (8) and set the on/off switch to the on position.
7. Wait for the water to be dispensed into the cup.
8. Discard the water from the cup.
9. Repeat steps 6, 7 and 8 until the water level is at the MIN mark. Open the lid and empty any remaining water into the sink. Rinse your appliance by filling it with clean water and emptying it into the sink (see the section «REMOVING WA-
TER OUT OF THE APPLIANCE»). Fill your appliance with

fresh water to the MAX fill level and place an empty cup on the drip tray.
10.Set the on/off switch to the on position and wait for the water to be dispensed into the cup.
11.Discard the water in the cup.
12.Repeat steps 10 and 11 until the water level is at the MIN mark. Open the lid and empty any remaining water into the sink (see the section «DE-SCALING THE APPLIANCE»).
Any other works should be performed in the authorized ser-
vice center.
Do not store the appliance if it is hot or connected to the
network. If you do not use the appliance, put it in a box after cooling and store in a safe, dry place, out of children’s reach.

DISPOSAL
The appliance should be disposed of in accor­dance with waste disposal regulations in your coun­try and with the least damage to the environment.
Only ecologically safe materials are used in the packaging of our products and the cardboard and paper can be disposed of with normal paper waste.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
If your appliance does not operate or does not operate properly, contact an authorized service center for consultancy or repair.
The warrantee does not cover:
- product packing, consumables and accesso­ries (knives, tips, etc.);
the product;
- failures due to overloading, improper or careless maintenance, penetration of liquids, dust, insects and other foreign matters inside the product, exposure of plastic and other not thermal­resistant components to high temperatures, force-majeure cir­cumstances (accidents, fire, flooding, power grid failure, light­ning stroke, etc.);
- damages caused by:
X Non-fulfillment of the above-mentioned precautions and op-
erating manuals.
X Application in commercial purposes (application of the product
beyond personal daily living needs).
X Connection to a grid with a voltage which differs from that
indicated on the appliance.
X Unauthorized repair or replacement of the components of the
appliance, performed by an unauthorized person or service center.
X Water quality and scale deposit (scale cleaning is out of scope
of the warrantee service and shall be performed by the user).
