Finalidad de uso

• Retire después del uso siempre la clavija de la
base de enchufe. No es suficiente con desconectar
ya que mientras esté insertada la clavija de red
en la base de enchufe, le sigue llegando tensión
de red al aparato.

Este aparato está diseñado para la cocción de agua
dentro del uso privado. No está previsto para su
utilización con otros líquidos o para ámbito comercial.

Consumo de potencia : 2200 W

 Si la instalación doméstica es antigua pueden saltar

los fusibles (12A) debido al alto consumo de
potencia.

Instrucciones de seguridad



Para evitar peligro de muerte por
descarga eléctrica:

• Asegúrese de que el zócalo con las conexiones
eléctricas no entre nunca en contacto con el agua.
Deje que el zócalo se seque completamente si
se ha humedecido por descuido.

• Utilice el hervidor de agua sólo con el zócalo
suministrado.

• Preste atención de que el cable de red no se
moje o entre en contacto con humedad durante
el servicio. Tiéndalo de modo que no pueda ser
aplastado o dañado de forma alguna.

• En caso de una clavija de red dañada o cable de
red dañado, encomiende su sustitución a personal
técnico autorizado o al servicio de posventa con
el fin de evitar riesgos.



Para evitar el peligro de incendio
y lesiones:

• Caliente el agua siempre con la tapadera cerrada,
de otro modo no funcionará el automatismo de
desconexión. El agua hirviendo puede salpicar
por encima del borde.

• Pueden escapar vapores calientes. Además el
hervidor está muy caliente durante el funciona­miento. Por ello utilice manoplas de cocina.

• Asegúrese de que el aparato se encuentra estable
y en posición vertical antes de encenderlo.
El agua hirviendo puede volcar un aparato que
no apoye de forma estable.

• No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos
los niños) cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o
mentales, así como su falta de conocimientos o
de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso seguro
del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia o han sido
instruidos correctamente acerca del uso del apa­rato.

• Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que no
juegan con el aparato.

Puesta en funcionamiento

• Antes de poner el aparato en funcionamiento,
asegúrese de que ...

- el aparato, clavija de red y el cable de red se
encuentren en perfecto estado y que ...

– que se hayan retirado todos los materiales de

embalaje de los aparatos.

• Llene el aparato de agua y vinagre en una pro­porción de 6:1 hasta la marca de MAX de la
escala

e y deje hervir la mezcla una vez,

como se describe en el apartado siguiente.



Advertencia

¡No respire los vapores que salen del aparato du­rante la cocción! Esto puede producir irritación de
las mucosas y malestar.

que no se desborde el agua.

Cómo hervir agua



Peligro

No coloque el zócalo eléctrico tnunca en las
proximidades del agua – ¡Peligro de muerte!

• ¡Para llenar el hervidor, retírelo del zócalo!

• Retire la tapa

• Mantenga el hervidor en posición vertical mientras
lo llena. Sólo de ese modo podrá leer correcta­mente las marcas de la escala

Advertencia

E

xtravía la clavija de red de la base de enchufe antes
de levantar el hervidor del zócalo
evita que el agua que salpica fuera caiga sobre las
conexiones eléctricas del zócalo

Por motivos de seguridad no debe abrir la tapa
si el agua está hirviendo o muy caliente.

Limpieza y mantenimiento



Peligro

No abra nunca las piezas de la carcasa. No existen
elementos de mando dentro. Con carcasa abierta
puede existir riesgo debido a descarga eléctrica.

En ningún caso pueden sumergirse las piezas

del aparato en agua u otros líquidos! Aquí se
puede producir peligro de muerte a causa de
una descarga eléctrica si penetran restos de
líquidos sobre piezas sometidas a tensión.

Antes de limpiar el aparato, ....

• Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe
y deje enfriar el aparato.

• Limpie las superficies externas y el cable de red
con un paño de cocina ligeramente húmedo.
Seque completamente el aparato, antes de utili­zarlo de nuevo.

• No utilice detergentes ni sustancias disolventes.
Pueden dañar el aparato.

En caso de restos de cal

• Compre un disolvente de cal adecuado en una
tienda de electrodomésticos (por ej. un descalci­ficador para cafeteras). Proceda como se indica
en el manual de instrucciones del disolvente de
la cal.



En el caso de que se hayan depositado restos de cal
en el filtro-vertedor
horas en una solución de agua y vinagre en una
proporción de 6:1. Los restos de cal se disolverán.

Conservación

Deje que se enfríe el aparato por completo antes
de guardarlo.

• Enrolle el cable de red en el soporte situado
en la base del aparato.

• Guarde el aparato en un lugar seco.

Evacuación

En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato
con la basura doméstica.

Retirar / insertar el filtro-vertedor

• Retire la tapa w.

• Pulse la lengüeta del filtro-vertedor
abajo y retírelo hacia adentro. Sáquelo del
hervidor.

• Limpie el filtro-vertedor
mente humedecido.

• Después de limpiarlo, introduzca de nuevo el
filtro-vertedor
lengüeta e introduzca la pestaña inferior desde
el interior en el alojamiento inferior del vertedor.
A continuación, introduzca la pestaña superior
en su alojamiento hasta que el filtro-vertedor
esté correctamente colocado.

Guarde el comprobante de caja como justificante
de compra. Si necesitara hacer uso de la garantía,
póngase en contacto por teléfono con su punto de
servicio habitual. Éste es el único modo de garantizar
un envío gratuito.
La garantía cubre sólo fallos de material o fabrica­ción, pero no cubre las piezas sometidas a desgaste
o daños en las piezas frágiles, como p. ej. interruptores
o baterías. Este producto ha sido diseñado exclusiva­mente para el uso particular y no para el uso indu­strial.
En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso
de la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas
extrañas a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica
autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez. Esta
garantía no reduce en forma alguna sus derechos
legales.

Destinazione d'uso

Questo apparecchio è previsto per il riscaldamento
di acqua per il consumo domestico. Non è previsto
per l'impiego con altri liquidi o per i settori commer­ciali.

 in presenza di impianti elettrici meno recenti, a

causa dell'elevato assorbimento di potenza, si
può verificare l'attivazione del salvavita (12A).

Avvertenze di sicurezza



Per evitare il pericolo di morte a
causa di scossa elettrica:

• Impedire che la base con i collegamenti elettrici
venga a contatto con l'acqua! In caso di contatto
accidentale con l'acqua, asciugare completa­mente la base prima di utilizzarla.

• Utilizzare il bollitore solo con la base acclusa.

• Accertarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo
di alimentazione non si bagni o diventi umido.
Disporlo in modo tale che non venga schiacciato
o possa essere danneggiato in altro modo.

• Fare sostituire immediatamente la spina o il cavo
di rete danneggiato da personale specializzato
autorizzato o dal centro di assistenza ai clienti,
per evitare possibili danni.

• Dopo l'uso disinserire sempre la spina dalla presa.
Non è sufficiente spegnere l'apparecchio, poiché
esso è ancora sotto tensione fino a quando la
spina è inserita nella presa.



Per evitare il pericolo di incendio
e lesioni:

• Riscaldare l'acqua sempre e solo con il coperchio
chiuso, altrimenti l'automatismo di attivazione
non funzionerà. L'acqua in fase di ebollizione
potrebbe fuoriuscire dai bordi.

• Possono verificarsi perdite di vapore bollente.
Il bollitore in funzione è bollente. Si consiglia
quindi di utilizzare presine idonee.

• Assicurarsi che l'apparecchio sia posizionato
stabilmente e in verticale prima di accenderlo.
L'acqua in fase di ebollizione potrebbe far cadere
un apparecchio posizionato in modo instabile.

• Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l'uso da
parte di persone (inclusi bambini) con limitate
capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o prive del­l'esperienza e/o della conoscenza necessaria, a
meno che tali persone non vengano sorvegliate
da un responsabile per la sicurezza o abbiano
ricevuto indicazioni sull'impiego dell'apparecchio.

• Sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non
giochino con l'apparecchio.

Messa in funzione

• Prima di mettere in funzione l'apparecchio,
accertarsi che ...

– l'apparecchio, la spina e il cavo di rete siano in

condizioni perfette e ...

– tutti i materiali di imballaggio siano stati rimossi

dall'apparecchio.

• Riempire l'apparecchio con acqua e aceto in
rapporto di 6:1 fino al livello MAX indicato
sulla scala graduata
completamente per una volta, come descritto
nel paragrafo seguente.



Avviso

Non respirare i vapori in fuoriuscita durante il pro­cedimento di cottura! Ciò può causare infiammazio­ni delle mucose e malesseri.



Pericolo

Non aprire mai l'alloggiamento o parti di esso.
In esso non è presente alcun elemento di comando.
Con l'alloggiamento aperto, può sussistere il pericolo
di morte a causa di scosse elettriche.

Non immergere per nessun motivo i compo-

nenti dell'apparecchio in acqua o altri liquidi!
Il contatto fortuito di elementi sotto tensione
con residui di liquido durante il funzionamento
può comportare il pericolo di morte per scossa
elettrica.

Prima di ripulire l'apparecchio, ....

• estrarre la spina dalla presa di corrente e far
raffreddare l'apparecchio.

• pulire tutte le superfici esterne e il cavo di rete
con un panno leggermente inumidito. Asciugare
accuratamente l'apparecchio in ogni caso prima
di riutilizzarlo.

• Non utilizzare detergenti, abrasivi o solventi.
Essi potrebbero danneggiare l'apparecchio.

In caso di residui di calcare

• Acquistare un decalcificante idoneo ai contenitori
per alimenti (per es. disincrostanti per macchine
da caffè) in un negozio di articoli per la casa.
Procedere come descritto nelle istruzioni del
decalcificante.

Rimuovere / inserire il beccuccio-colino

• Rimuovere il coperchio w.

• Premere la linguetta del beccuccio-colino
il basso ed estrarla verso l'interno. Prelevarla dal
bollitore.

• Pulire il beccuccio-colino
mente inumidito.

• Dopo la pulizia reinserire il beccuccio-colino
afferrarlo dalla linguetta e inserire il perno infe­riore dall'interno nell'intaglio inferiore all'interno
del beccuccio. Premere quindi anche il perno
superiore nell'intaglio, fino a inserire saldamente
il beccuccio-colino

Avvertenza

se nel beccuccio-colino yfossero presenti incrosta­zioni di calcare, immergerlo per qualche ora in una
soluzione di acqua e aceto in un rapporto di 6:1. In
tal modo, le incrostazioni di calcare si scioglieranno.
Risciacquare il beccuccio-colino
abbondante acqua corrente.

Conservazione

Prima di riporre l'apparecchio, è necessario farlo
raffreddare completamente.

• Avvolgere il cavo di alimentazione attorno al
supporto sotto la base dell'apparecchio.

• Conservare l'apparecchio in luogo asciutto.

Smaltimento

Non smaltire per alcun motivo l'appa­recchio insieme ai normali rifiuti domestici.

Smaltire l'apparecchio presso un'azienda auto­rizzata o presso l'ente comunale di smaltimento.
Rispettare le prescrizioni attualmente in vigore.
In caso di dubbi, mettersi in contatto con l'ente di
smaltimento competente.

Smaltire tutti i materiali dell'imballaggio
in modo ecologicamente conforme.

consegna. Conservare lo scontrino come prova

mettersi in comunicazione telefonicamente con il
centro di assistenza più vicino. Solo in tal modo è
possibile garantire una spedizione gratuita della
merce.
La garanzia copre solo i difetti del materiale o di
fabbricazione. Il prodotto è destinato esclusivamente
all'uso domestico e non a quello commerciale.
La garanzia decade in caso di impiego improprio
o manomissione, uso della forza e interventi non

Intended use

• Always remove the plug from the power socket
after use. Simply switching the appliance off is
not sufficient, as the appliance is under power
for as long as the plug is connected to the socket.

This appliance is intended for the boiling-up of
water in domestic households. It is not intended for
use with other liquids or for commercial use.

Safety information

To avoid potentially fatal injury
through electric shock:

• Ensure that the base with the electrical connec­tions does not come into contact with water! If it
has unintentionally come into contact with water,
first allow it to dry out completely before taking it
into use.

• Only use the water boiler with the supplied
base.

• Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet
or damp during operation. Lay the cable so that
it cannot be trapped or otherwise damaged.

• To reduce the risk of injury, arrange for defective
power plugs and/or cables to be replaced at
once by qualified technicians or our Customer
Service Department.



To avoid burns and other injuries:

• Always heat water with the lid on, otherwise the
automatic switch-off does not function correctly.
Boiling water could then spray out over the rim.

• Hot steam clouds may be released. Additionally,
the kettle becomes very hot during use. Wear
oven mitts.

• Ensure that the appliance is standing securely
and vertically before switching it on.
Boiling water can cause an unstable kettle to fall
over.

• This appliance is not intended for use by indivi­duals (including children) with restricted physical,
physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences
in experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

Commissioning

• Before taking the appliance into use, ensure that ...

- the appliance, plug and power cable are in
good working order and...

– all packaging materials have been removed

from the appliance.

• Fill the appliance up to the MAX marking on
the scale
having a mix-ratio of 6:1 and then bring it to
be boil – as described in the next section.



Warning

Do not inhale the vapours escaping during the boiling
process! This could lead to irritation of the mucous
membranes and an indisposition.

• Rinse the kettle out with clear water.

• Fill the appliance with water up to the MAX

Cleaning and Care



Danger

Do not open any part of the housing. There are no
user-servicable elements inside. An open housing
can create the risk of a lethal electrical shock.

Never submerse any parts of the appliance in

water or other liquids! This can create the risk
of a life-threatening electrical shock if residual
liquid comes into contact with powered com­ponents.

Before cleaning the appliance, ....

• first, remove the plug from the power socket and
allow the appliance to cool down completely.

• Clean the exterior surfaces and the power cable
with a slighly damp cloth. Be sure to dry the
appliance well before taking it back into use.

• Never use detergents, abrasive cleaners or
solvents. These can damage the appliance.

In the event of scale deposits:

• Obtain any decalcifying agent suitable for kitchen
utensils (e.g. decalcifiers for coffee machines)
from a hardware shop. Proceed as detailed in
the instructions provided for the use of the de­calcfying agent.

Note

Should the scale deposits in the pourer-sieve ybe
firmly settled, lay it in a water-vinegar solution, with
a ratio of 6:1, for a few hours. The scale deposits
will dissolve themselves. Rinse the pourer sieve
with lots of clear water.

Storage

Allow the appliance to cool down completely
before putting it into storage.

• Wind the power cable around the holder on
the bottom of the appliance.

• Store the appliance in a dry place.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in
your normal domestic waste.

Removing/replacing the pouring sieve

• Take the lid woff.

• Press the flap on the pourer-sieve
pull it inwards. Remove it from the kettle.

• Clean the pourer-sieve
dish cloth.

• After cleaning it, replace the pourer-sieve

Verwendungszweck

• Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch immer den Stecker
aus der Steckdose. Ausschalten alleine genügt
nicht, weil noch immer Netzspannung im Gerät
anliegt, solange der Netzstecker in der
Steckdose steckt.

Dieses Gerät ist vorgesehen zum Erhitzen von
Wasser für den häuslichen Gebrauch. Es ist nicht
vorgesehen für die Verwendung mit anderen
Flüssigkeiten oder für gewerbliche Bereiche.

Um Lebensgefahr durch elektri­schen Schlag zu vermeiden:

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Sockel mit den elektri­schen Anschlüssen niemals mit Wasser in Berüh­rung kommt! Lassen Sie den Sockel erst vollstän­dig trocknen, wenn er versehentlich feucht
geworden ist.

• Verwenden Sie den Wasserkocher nur mit dem
mitgelieferten Sockel.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzka­bel niemals nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es
so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder anderweitig
beschädigt werden kann.

• Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netz­kabel sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal
oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.



Um Brand- und Verletzungsgefahr
zu vermeiden:

• Erhitzen Sie Wasser immer nur bei aufgesetztem
Deckel, andernfalls funktioniert die Abschaltauto­matik nicht. Kochendes Wasser kann dann über
den Rand herausspritzen.

• Es können heiße Dampfschwaden entweichen.
Der Kessel ist zudem im Betrieb sehr heiß. Tra­gen Sie daher Topf-Handschuhe.

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät stabil und
senkrecht steht, bevor Sie dieses einschalten.
Kochendes Wasser kann ein unstabil stehendes
Gerät zum Umstürzen bringen.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Per­sonen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränk­ten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder
mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,
sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zustän­dige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr

Inbetriebnahme

• Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeu­gen Sie sich davon, dass ...

– das Gerät, Netzstecker und Netzkabel in

einwandfreiem Zustand sind und...

– alle Verpackungsmaterialien vom Gerät entfernt

sind.

• Befüllen Sie das Gerät mit Wasser und Essig in
einem Verhältnis von 6:1 bis zur MAX-Marke an
der Skala
ganz aufkochen – wie im nächsten Abschnitt be­schrieben.



Warnung

Atmen Sie nicht die austretenden Dämpfe während
des Kochvorganges ein! Das kann zu Reizungen
der Schleimhäute und zu Unwohlsein führen.

Reinigung und Pflege



Gefahr

Öffnen Sie niemals irgendwelche Gehäuseteile. Es
befinden sich keinerlei Bedienelemente darin. Bei
geöffnetem Gehäuse kann Lebensgefahr bestehen
durch elektrischen Schlag.

Auf keinen Fall dürfen die Geräteteile in Was­ser oder andere Flüssigkeiten getaucht wer­den! Hier kann Lebensgefahr durch elektri­schen Schlag entstehen, wenn im Betrieb
Flüssigkeitsreste auf spannungsführende Teile
gelangen.

Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ....

• ziehen Sie erst den Netzstecker aus der Steckdo­se und lassen Sie das Gerät erst abkühlen.

• Reinigen Sie alle Außenflächen und das Netzka­bel mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Spültuch.
Trocknen Sie das Gerät auf jeden Fall gut ab,
bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.

• Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungs-, Scheuer- oder
Lösemittel. Diese können das Gerät
beschädigen.

Bei Kalk-Rückständen

• Nehmen Sie einen für Lebensmittelbehälter ge­eigneten Kalklöser aus dem Haushaltswarenge­schäft (z.B. Kaffeemaschinen-Entkalker). Gehen
Sie wie in der Bedienungsanleitung des Kalklö­sers beschrieben vor.

Ausgießer-Sieb abnehmen /
einsetzen

• Nehmen Sie den Deckel wab.

• Drücken Sie die Lasche am Ausgießer-Sieb
nach unten und ziehen Sie es nach innen. Neh­men Sie es aus dem Kessel.

• Reinigen Sie das Ausgießer-Sieb
leicht angefeuchteten Spültuch.

• Setzen Sie nach dem Reinigen das Ausgießer­Sieb

wieder ein: Fassen Sie es an der Lasche

an und setzen Sie die untere Rastnase von innen
in die untere Auskerbung im Inneren des Ausgie­ßers. Drücken Sie dann auch die obere Rastnase
in die Aussparung, bis das Aussgießer-Sieb

Hinweis

Sollten sich Kalkrückstände im Ausgießer-Sieb
festgesetzt haben, legen Sie es für einige Stunden in
eine Wasser-Essig-Lösung in einem Verhältnis von
6:1. Die Kalkrückstände lösen sich. Spülen Sie das
Ausgießer-Sieb

mit viel klarem Wasser ab.

Aufbewahren

Lassen Sie das Gerät erst vollständig auskühlen,
bevor Sie es wegstellen.

• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel um den Halter unter
dem Geräteboden.

• Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort.

Entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den
normalen Hausmüll.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale
Entsorgungseinrichtung.
Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.
Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungs­einrichtung in Verbindung.

Führen Sie alle Verpackungsmaterialien
