1. Introduzione

Gentile cliente, Lei ha appena acquistato una macchina da Caffè Espresso Bialetti!

La ringraziamo di avere scelto un nostro prodotto e condiamo che questa scelta soddis a pieno le sue aspettative.

Il Sistema Espresso Bialetti è il risultato di anni di passione e di attenta

ricerca sul caffè e sui modi di prepararlo.

Sin dal 1933, con l’invenzione ed il lancio di Moka Express, l’omino con i

baf è, a tutti gli effetti, sinonimo di caffè e icona dell’autentico espresso italiano.

La sua macchina funziona esclusivamente con le capsule Bialetti originali: totalmente in alluminio riciclabile, perfettamente dosate, che

sono state da noi studiate per garantirle anche a casa un caffè come

quello del bar.

ESSERE UTILIZZATO SOLO PER QUESTO SCOPO. OGNI ALTRO USO È DA CONSIDERARSI IMPROPRIO E QUINDI PERICOLOSO. IL COSTRUTTORE NON PUÒ ESSERE CONSIDERATO RESPONSABILE PER EVENTUALI DANNI DERIVANTI DA USI IMPROPRI, ERRONEI ED IRRAGIONEVOLI.

• L’apparecchio è stato progettato solo per uso interno e per tempe-

rature non estreme; non lasciare esposto l’apparecchio ad agenti atmosferici (pioggia, sole, etc.).

• In caso di uso commerciale, movimentazione o uso impropri, even-

tuali danni derivanti dall’uso per altri scopi, cattivo funzionamento, riparazione non professionale o inosservanza delle istruzioni, il produttore declina qualsiasi responsabilità ed è autorizzato a non

applicare i termini di garanzia.

• Dopo aver tolto l’imballaggio e prima di ogni uso, assicurarsi dell’in-

tegrità meccanica dell’apparecchio e di tutti i suoi accessori. La

guaina e la spina del cavo di alimentazione non devono evidenziare

screpolature o rotture. Nel caso si verichi quanto sopra o in caso di guasto e/o cattivo funzionamento, staccare subito la spina dalla pre-

sa di corrente e portare l’apparecchio presso un centro di assistenza

tecnica autorizzato per le necessarie veriche. Il mancato rispetto di quanto sopra può compromettere la sicurezza dell’apparecchio.

• Gli elementi dell’imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espan-

so, chiodi, ecc.) non devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.

• Posizionare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana, regolare e stabile.

Non posizionarlo accanto a/su ripiani roventi, come caloriferi, piani cottura, forni, cucine a gas, amme libere, etc.

2. Avvertenze

• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio accertarsi che i dati targa siano ri-

spondenti a quelli della rete di distribuzione elettrica. La targa è situata sul fondo del corpo dell’apparecchio.

• In generale è sconsigliabile l’uso di adattatori, prese multiple e/o

prolunghe. Qualora il loro uso si rendesse indispensabile, è neces-

sario utilizzare solamente adattatori semplici o multipli e prolunghe

conformi alle vigenti norme di sicurezza, facendo però attenzione

a non superare il limite di portata, in valore di corrente, marcato sull’adattatore semplice e sulle prolunghe, e quello di massima po-

tenza marcato sull’adattatore multiplo.

• Non lasciare l’apparecchio inutilmente inserito. Staccare la spina

dalla rete di alimentazione quando l’apparecchio non è utilizzato.

• Se si intende lasciare inattivo l’apparecchio per un periodo di tempo

piuttosto lungo, svuotare il serbatoio dell’acqua.

SI CONSIGLIA DI ALIMENTARE L’APPARECCHIO TRAMI-

TE UN INTERRUTTORE DIFFERENZIALE (RDC) CON CORRENTE D’INTERVENTO NON SUPERIORE A 30mA.

COLLEGARE L’APPARECCHIO ALL’IMPIANTO ELETTRICO

ESCLUSIVAMENTE CON UNA SPINA DI MESSA A TERRA.

EVITARE DI SCOLLEGARE L’APPARECCHIO TIRANDO IL

CAVO DI ALIMENTAZIONE.

PRECAUZIONI

• Non toccare l’apparecchio con mani bagnate o umide.

• Non usare l’apparecchio a piedi nudi.

• Non accostare il cavo a bordi taglienti, non ssarlo o lasciarlo pendere.

• Per evitare surriscaldamenti pericolosi, si raccomanda di svolgere

per tutta la sua lunghezza il cavo di alimentazione e di utilizzare l’apparecchio come consigliato nel paragrafo “Avvertenze” relative

all’uso corretto dell’apparecchio.

• Allorché si decida di non utilizzare più un apparecchio di questo

tipo, è consigliabile di renderlo inoperante tagliandone il cavo di

alimentazione dopo aver staccato la spina dalla presa di corrente.

Si raccomanda, inoltre, di rendere innocue quelle parti dell’apparecchio suscettibili di costituire un pericolo, specialmente per i bambini

che potrebbero servirsi dell’apparecchio fuori uso per i propri giochi.

IL PRODOTTO DEVE ESSERE UTILIZZATO SECONDO LE ISTRUZIONI DEL COSTRUTTORE. UN ERRATO UTILIZZO PUÒ CAUSARE DANNI A PERSONE, ANIMALI O COSE, NEI CONFRONTI DEI QUALI IL COSTRUTTORE NON PUÒ ESSERE CONSIDERATO RESPONSABILE.

• Non lasciare incustodito l’apparecchio durante il funzionamento.

NON UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO SENZA ACQUA NEL SERBATOIO.

• Non spostare l’apparecchio quando è in funzione.

A SEGUITO DELL’INSTALLAZIONE INIZIALE, L’APPARECCHIO POTREBBE EMANARE ODORE DI BRUCIATO A CAUSA DEI MATERIALI ISOLANTI E DEGLI ELEMENTI RISCALDANTI; IL TUTTO È NORMALE.

5. Primo utilizzo dell’apparecchio

Estrarre il serbatoio (6) e riempirlo di acqua potabile, senza su-

perare il livello MAX.

Accendere la macchina tramite

il tasto luminoso (1) nella parte superiore.

Inserire la spina (5) dell’apparec-

chio nella presa, seguendo le indicazioni riportate nel paragrafo

“Avvertenze”.

Durante il riscaldamento della caldaia, la spia sul tasto lumino-

so (1) lampeggia di luce ROSSA.

Quando la spia diventa di colore

VERDE ssa, la macchina è pronta per l’erogazione di caffè.

NON UTILIZZARE MAI L’APPARECCHIO SENZA ACQUA NEL SERBATOIO.

Posizionare una tazzina sull’apposita griglia poggia tazzina (3) e premere il tasto luminoso (1) per avviare l’erogazione di acqua. Interrompere

l’erogazione premendo nuovamente il pulsante quando la tazzina è qua-

si piena. Ripetere il ciclo per almeno 3 volte.

6. Preparazione del caffè

Prima di procedere con l’erogazione, controllare il livello di ac-

qua nel serbatoio (6), accertarsi che il tasto luminoso (1) sia ver-

SE LA CAPSULA È DEFORMATA, SISTEMARE I BORDI.

DURANTE L’EROGAZIONE IL TASTO LUMINOSO (1) LAMPEGGERÀ DI LUCE VERDE. ATTENDERE SEMPRE CHE LA LUCE TORNI FISSA PRIMA DI ESTRARRE IL CASSETTINO PORTA CAPSULE (2).

E’ POSSIBILE SPEGNERE L’APPARECCHIO IN OGNI MOMENTO TENENDO PREMUTO IL TASTO LUMINOSO (1) PER PIÙ DI 3 SEC.

Posizionare la capsula nell’alloggiamento del cassettino porta

capsule (3) ed inserire nel corpo macchina (7).

Posizionare una tazzina sulla griglia

poggia tazzina (3). Iniziare l’eroga-

zione del caffè, premendo l’appo-

sito tasto luminoso (1). Quando il

caffè raggiunge il livello desiderato nella tazzina, arrestare l’erogazione premendo nuovamente il tasto luminoso (1). Per ogni caffè successivo, estrarre il cassettino por-

ta capsule (3), togliere la capsula usata ed inserirne una nuova.

7. Manutenzione

PULIZIA DELL’APPARECCHIO

PRIMA DI EFFETTUARE L’OPERAZIONE DI PULIZIA, DISINSERIRE SEMPRE LA SPINA DALLA PRESA DI CORRENTE.

NON IMMERGERE MAI IL CORPO APPA-

RECCHIO (7) IN ACQUA O ALTRI LIQUIDI E NON LAVARE IN LAVASTOVIGLIE.

• Per la pulizia del corpo apparecchio (7), usare un panno umido

evitando l’impiego di detersivi abrasivi o solventi.

• E’ preferibile risciacquare ogni giorno il serbatoio (6). Non lasciare

acqua nel serbatoio (6) per più di 5 giorni o, se questo dovesse accadere, cambiare l’acqua ed erogarne 50 ml senza capsula prima di preparare il caffè.

Pulire il cassettino porta capsule (3) sotto il getto d’acqua del rubinetto per eliminare eventuali re-

sidui di caffè. Svuotare periodicamente la vaschetta di raccolta (4) al ne di evitare perdite d’acqua

da tale componente ed eventuali

malfunzionamenti e/o danni alla macchina. Pulire periodicamente la vaschetta di raccolta (4) e la griglia poggia tazzina (3) con normali detergenti per stoviglie. Non utilizzare mai oggetti aflati o abrasivi che possano rovinare l’apparecchio.

7. Manutenzione

PROCEDURA DI DECALCIFICAZIONE

Il normale utilizzo della macchina con acque naturali minerali in bottiglia

o da rubinetto comporta la formazione di calcare. Si consiglia di eseguire la decalcicazione ogni 300 tazzine di caffè (in alternativa ogni 3-4 mesi) e/o quando si osserva una riduzione costante della portata nel usso di caffè erogato.

LA FREQUENZA DI QUESTA OPERAZIONE DIPENDE DAL GRADO DI DUREZZA DELL’ACQUA UTILIZZATA.

A) Versare una dose di soluzione decalcicante Bialetti o equivalente

(purché non tossica e adatta per macchine da caffè) nel serbatoio (6).

NON UTILIZZARE ACETO O SOLUZIONI A BASE D’ACETO COME DECALCIFICANTE.

B) Riempire con acqua fredda il serbatoio (6) no al raggiungimento

della tacca MAX.

C) Premere il tasto luminoso (1) per accendere la macchina. Attendere

che la macchina sia in modalità pronta all’uso.

D) Accertarsi che non vi siano capsule nella macchina. E) Erogare 2 tazze di acqua (circa 100 ml ciascuna). Se necessario

ripetere più volte l’erogazione per raggiungere la quantità desiderata.

F) Spegnere la macchina. G) Lasciare agire il decalcicante per circa 15-20 minuti con la macchina

spenta.

H) Accendere la macchina ed eseguire nuovamente le operazioni

descritte al punto E).

I) Lasciare spenta la macchina per circa 5 minuti. J) Ripetere le operazioni di cui al punto E) no al completo esaurimento

dell’acqua nel serbatoio.

K) Estrarre il serbatoio (6) e risciacquarlo abbondantemente con acqua

fredda pulita.

L) Riempire il serbatoio (6) con acqua pulita no al livello MAX e inserirlo

nell’apposita sede.

M) Avviare l’erogazione di acqua sino al completo svuotamento del

serbatoio (6).

N) Ripetere per due volte le operazioni descritte nei punti L) e M).

8. Modalità di

risparmio energetico

Questo apparecchio è stato progettato in conformità alle direttive europee

EC1275 /2008 e 2009/125/EC relative ai requisiti della modalità di risparmio energetico.

Questo apparecchio integra una funzione di stand-by che si attiva dopo

10 minuti di inattività; l’apparecchio si spegne e il consumo energetico in tale stato è inferiore a 0,5 W.

Per riattivare la macchina è necessario premere nuovamente il tasto

luminoso ON/OFF (1); la macchina avvierà la fase di pre-riscaldamento della caldaia (led rosso lampeggiante) e, una volta raggiunta la temperatura operativa, indicherà lo stato di pronto (led verde sso). IL TEMPO DI PRE-RISCALDAMENTO DIPENDE DAL TEMPO IN CUI L’APPARECCHIO È RIMASTO INATTIVO E PUÒ DURARE FINO A 50 SECONDI IN CASO DI MANCATO UTILIZZO DELLO STESSO PER ALCUNE ORE. LA MACCHINA ENTRA IN STAND-BY AUTOMATICAMENTE DOPO 10 MINUTI ANCHE NEL CASO IN CUI NON VENGA EROGATO ALCUN CAFFE’.

10. Consigli per un buon caffè

• Prima di fare il primo caffè, eroga sempre un po’ d’acqua a vuoto,

questo assicura che il tuo caffè sia erogato al meglio: l’acqua non

disperde calore all’interno della macchina ed i uidi incontrano minor resistenza.

• Per un caffè a temperatura perfetta, in assenza di uno scaldatazze,

riscaldare la tazzina erogando solo acqua.

• Per una crema più spessa e persistente: usa tazzine con una base

interna ovoidale.

12. Garanzia

L’apparecchio è garantito per un periodo di due anni dalla data di consegna,

DURING DISPENSING, THE BUTTON (1) BLINKS IN GREEN. WAIT UNTIL THE GREEN LIGHT IS STEADY AGAIN, BEFORE REMOVING THE CAPSULE HOLDER DRAWER (2).

PRESS THE BUTTON (1) FOR MORE THAN 3 SECONDS TO SWITCH THE MACHINE OFF.

Position the capsule into the housing of the capsule holder

drawer (3) and insert into the machine body (7).

Place a cup onto the rack (3). Start

dispensing coffee by pressing the

apposite button (1). When coffee

reaches the required level in the cup, stop dispensing by pressing the button (1) again. For each following coffee, take out the capsule

APPLIANCE CLEANING

ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING IT.

NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE

BODY (7) IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS AND DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DISHWASHER.

• To clean the appliance body (7), use a wet cloth but avoid abrasive detergents or solvents.

• It is recommended to rinse the tank (6) on a daily base. Never leave water in the tank (6) for more than 5 days or, if it occurs, change water and dispense 50 ml of water without capsule before making the coffee.

7. Maintenance

DESCALING PROCEDURE

The normal use of the machine with natural mineral water, both in bottle

and from the tap, entails the formation of limescale.

It is recommended to carry out the descaling cycle every 300 cups of

coffee (otherwise every 3-4 months) and/or when a constant decrease of the dispensed coffee ow is noticed.

THE FREQUENCY OF THIS OPERATION DEPENDS ON THE HARDNESS OF WATER USED.

A) Pour a dose of Bialetti descaling solution or equivalent (provided it is

not toxic and is suitable for coffee machines) into the water tank (6).

DO NOT USE VINEGAR OR VINEGAR-BASED SOLUTIONS AS DESCALING AGENT.

B) Fill the tank (6) with cold water up to the MAX level. C) Press the button (1) to switch the machine on. Wait until the machine

is in ready mode.

D) Make sure the machines does not contain any capsule. E) Dispense 2 cups of water (about 100 ml each). Repeat dispensing

several times, if necessary, to reach the required amount.

F) Switch the machine off. G) Let the descaling agent act for aprox.ly 15-20 minutes with the

machine off.

H) Switch the machine on and carry out again the operations described

in point E).

I) Switch the machine off against for approx.ly 5 minutes. J) Repeat the operation described in point E) until the tank is completely

empty.

K) Remove the tank (6) and rinse it thoroughly with clean cold water. L) Fill the tank (6) with clean water up to the “MAX” level and insert

it in its seat.

M) Dispense water until the tank (6) is completely empty. N) Repeat two times the steps described in points L) and M).

8. Energy saving mode

This appliance was designed in compliance with the European Directives

EC1275/2008 and 2009/125/EC, stating the need to adopt the energy saving mode.

This appliance is equipped with a stand-by function that activates after 10

minutes of downtime; the appliance goes off and the power consumption in this status is below 0.5 W. To re-start the machine press again the ON/OFF button (1). The machine starts the pre-heating phase of the heater (blinking red LED) and, once

having reached the operating temperature, the ready status is shown

(steady green LED). TIME OF PRE-HEATING IS BASED ON THE DOWNTIME OF THE MACHINE, AND CAN LAST UP TO 50 SECONDS IF THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR A FEW HOURS. THE MACHINE WILL ENTER STAND-BY MODE AUTOMATICALLY AFTER 10 MINUTES EVEN IF NO COFFEE IS BREWED.

10. Tips for a good coffee

• Before making coffee for the rst time, dispense some water only in order to ensure the perfect dispensing; water does not disperse heat inside the appliance and uids encounter less resistance.

• For a coffee at the optimal temperature, in case a cup-warmer is

not available, warm the cup up by dispensing only water.

• In order to obtain a thicker and more persistent cream, use cups

with an inner ovoid-shape base.

12. Warranty

The appliance is guaranteed for two years from the date of delivery,

as shown by the date on the receipt/invoice, unless the purchaser can prove that delivery took place on a later date. In case of defects on the

product existing prior to delivery, Bialetti guarantees the repair or replacement of same, at no charge to the purchaser, unless one of the two

remedies is disproportionate to the other. The purchaser is responsible

for reporting any conformity defects no later than two months from

discovery of same.

The warranty does not cover those parts found to be faulty as a result of negligence or careless use, for example:

• Damages caused by impacts, falls or scratches owing to the use of

improper objects.

• Damages caused by limestone or failure to decalcify it on a regular

basis.

• Failure to abide by the operating instructions for the appliance.

• Incorrect installation or maintenance carried out by unauthorized persons

• Normal wear and tear.

• Damages caused by modications made to the inside of the ap-

pliance.

• Damages caused through use of a voltage other than that stated in

the use and maintenance manual.

• Damages from transport or circumstances that cannot be attrib-

uted to defects in the material or workmanship of the appliance.

• Damages arising from repairing carried out by unauthorized ser-

The warranty also excludes all cases of improper use of the appliance or

any instances of professional use. Bialetti refuses to accept any liability

for damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to people, property or pets as a result of failure to abide by all of the guidelines and instructions in this booklet concerning the installation, use and maintenance

This warranty is without prejudice to contractual guarantees made to

13. Disposal of the appliance

• This product complies with the Directive 2012/19/EC.

• The symbol representing the crossed out trash can on the appli-

ance indicates that the product, at the end of its useful life, must

be treated separately from domestic waste. It must be taken to a

recycling centre for electrical and electronic appliances or turned in

to the point of sale when purchasing a new, equivalent, appliance.

• Avant de brancher l’appareil, s’assurer que les données indiquées

sur la plaque signalétique correspondent à celles du réseau d’ali-

mentation électrique. La plaque est apposée sur le fond du corps de l’appareil.

• En général, l’emploi d’adaptateurs, de prises multiples et / ou de ral-

longes est déconseillé. Si toutefois leur emploi était indispensable,

il est nécessaire de n’utiliser que des adaptateurs simples ou multiples et des rallonges conformes aux normes de sécurité en vigueur, en veillant cependant à ce que la limite de résistance en valeur de courant, indiquée sur l’adaptateur simple et sur les rallonges, ainsi que la limite de puissance maximale indiquée sur l’adaptateur mul-

tiple, ne soient pas dépassées.

• Ne pas laisser l’appareil inutilement sous tension. Débrancher la

• Ne touchez pas l’appareil avec les mains mouillées ou humides.

• N'utilisez pas l’appareil nu-pieds.

• Ne pas approcher le câble à des rebords coupants, ne pas le xer

5. Première utilisation de l’appareil

Extraire le réservoir (6) et le

remplir avec de l’eau potable,

sans dépasser le niveau MAX.

Allumer la machine avec le

voyant lumineux (1) situé dans la partie supérieure.

Brancher le câble d’alimentation (5) de l’appareil au secteur en

suivant les indications reportées

dans la section ‘Avertissements’.

Pendant le réchauffement de la chaudière, le témoin sur le

voyant lumineux (1) clignote en ROUGE. Quand le témoin devient VERT xe, la machine est prête à distribuer du café.

NE JAMAIS UTILISER L’APPAREIL SANS EAU DANS LE RÉSERVOIR.

Placer une tasse sur la grille de soutien dédiée (3) et appuyer sur le voyant lumineux (1) pour démarrer la distribution d’eau. Interrompre

la distribution en appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton quand la tasse est

presque pleine. Répéter ce cycle au moins 3 fois.

6. Préparation du café

Avant de procéder à la distribution, contrôler le niveau d’eau

dans le réservoir (6) et s’assurer que le voyant lumineux (1) soit

vert, puis enlever le tiroir porte-

capsule (2).

SI LA CAPSULE EST DÉFORMÉE, REDRESSER LES BORDS.

PENDANT LA DISTRIBUTION, LE VOYANT LUMINEUX (1) CLIGNOTE EN VERT. ATTENDEZ TOUJOURS QUE LA LUMIÈRE REDEVIENNE FIXE AVANT D’EXTRAIRE LE TIROIR PORTE-CAPSULE (2).

IL EST POSSIBLE D'ETEINDRE L'APPAREIL À TOUT MOMENT EN MAINTENANT LE VOYANT LUMINEUX (1) APPUYÉ PENDANT PLUS DE 3 SECONDES.

Positionner la capsule dans le logement du tiroir porte-capsule

(3) et insérer dans le corps de l’appareil (7).

Placer une tasse sur la grille de

soutien (3). Lancer la distribution

du café, en appuyant sur le voyant

adéquat (1). Lorsque la café atteint

le niveau désiré dans la tasse, arrêter la distribution en appuyant de

nouveau sur le voyant lumineux (1).

Pour tous les autres cafés distribués,

extraire le tiroir porte-capsule (3),

enlever la capsule utilisée pour in-

troduire une nouvelle capsule.

7. Entretien

NETTOYAGE DE L'APPAREIL

AVANT D’EFFECTUER LES OPÉRATIONS DE NETTOYAGE, TOUJOURS DÉBRANCHER LA FICHE DE LA PRISE DE COURANT. LE CORPS DE L’APPAREIL (7) NE DOIT JAMAIS ÊTRE PLONGÉ DANS DE L’EAU OU D’AUTRES LIQUIDES ET IL NE DOIT PAS ÊTRE LAVÉ AU LAVE-VAISSELLE.

• Pour nettoyer le corps de l’appareil (7) utiliser un chiffon humide en évitant l’emploi de produits abrasifs ou de solvants.

• Il est préférable de rincer le réservoir (6) tous les jours. Ne laissez pas d’eau dans le réservoir (6) pendant plus de 5 jours ou, si cela devait se vérier, remplacez l’eau et effectuez une distribution de 50 ml sans capsule avant de verser un café.

Laver le tiroir porte-capsule (3)

sous l’eau du robinet pour éliminer les résidus de poudre de café. Videz périodiquement le bac de récu-

pération (4) pour éviter les fuites

d’eau et les éventuelles dysfonc-

tionnements et/ou dommages à la machine. Nettoyez périodiquement le bac de récupération (4) et la grille de soutien (3) à l’aide de produits vaisselle ordinaires. N’utilisez jamais d’objets affûtés ou abrasifs qui pourraient abimer l'appareil.

7. Entretien

PROCÉDURE DE DECALCIFICATION

L’utilisation normale de la machine avec des eaux minérales en bouteille

ou du robinet comporte la formation de calcaire. Il est conseillé d’effectuer la décalcication tous les 300 tasses de café (en alternative tous les 3-4 mois) et/ou lorsqu’on observe une réduction constante du débit de café distribué.

LA FRÉQUENCE DE CETTE OPÉRATION DÉPEND DU DEGRÉ DE DURETÉ DE L’EAU UTILISÉE.

A) Versez dans le réservoir (6) une dose de solution décalciante Bialetti

ou équivalente (non toxique et indiquée pour les machines à café).

N’UTILISEZ PAS DE VINAIGRE OU DE SOLUTIONS À BASE DU VINAIGRE COMME DÉCALCIFIANT.

B) Remplissez le réservoir (6) avec de l’eau froide jusqu’au niveau MAX. C) Appuyez sur le voyant lumineux (1) pour allumer la machine.

Attendre que la machine soit dans la modalité prête pour l’emploi.

D) S’assurer qu’il n’y ait aucune capsule dans la machine. E) Distribuer 2 tasses d’eau (environ 100 chacune). Si nécessaire,

répéter plusieurs fois la distribution pour obtenir la quantité désirée.

F) Éteindre la machina. G) Laissez agir le décalciant pendant 15-20 minutes environ avec la

machine éteinte.

H) Rallumez la machine et répétez les opérations décrites au point E). I) Eteignez de nouveau la machine pendant 5 minutes environ. J) Répétez les opérations décrites au point E) jusqu’à ce que le réservoir

d’eau soit entièrement vide.

K) Extrayez le réservoir (6) et rincez-le abondamment avec de l’eau

froide propre.

L) Remplissez le réservoir (6) avec de l’eau propre jusqu’au niveau

“MAX” et remettez-le à sa place.

M) Activer la distribution d’eau jusqu’à ce que le réservoir (6) soit

entièrement vide.

N) Répéter deux fois les opérations décrites aux paragraphes L) et M).

8. Mode d'économie d'énergie

Cet appareil a été conçu conformément aux directives EC1275/2008 et 2009/125/EC qui prévoient la nécessité d'adopter la modalité d'économie d'énergie.

Cet appareil intègre une fonction de stand-by qui se met en marche au bout de 10 minutes d’inactivité : l'appareil s’éteint et la consommation

d’énergie dans cet état est inférieure à 0,5 W.

Pour faire repartir la machine, il est nécessaire d’appuyer de nouveau

sur le voyant lumineux (1): la machine démarre alors la phase de préréchauffement de la chaudière (voyant rouge clignotant) et, une fois

la température de service atteinte, elle indique l’état de machine prête

(voyant vert xe). LE TEMPS DE PRÉ-CHAUFFAGE DÉPEND DU TEMPS PENDANT LEQUEL L'APPAREIL EST RESTE INACTIVE, ET IL PEUT DURER JUSQU'A 50 SECONDES S'IL N'A PAS ÉTÉ UTILISÉE PENDANT PLUSIEURS HEURES. LA MACHINE SE PLACE AUTOMATIQUEMENT EN MODALITÉ DE STAND-BY MÊME LORSQUE LA MACHINE NE DISTRIBUE AUCUN CAFÉ DANS LES 10 MINUTES QUI SUIVENT.

10. Conseils pour un bon café

• Avant de faire le premier café, distribuez toujours un peu d’eau à vide, cela garantit un bien meilleur résultat : l’eau ne disperse

pas sa chaleur à l’intérieur de la machine et les uides rencontrent moins de résistance.

• Pour obtenir un café à une température parfaite, si vous ne possédez pas de chauffe-tasses, réchauffez la tasse avec l’eau distribuée

à vide.

• Pour obtenir une crème plus épaisse et plus persistante : utilisez

une tasse avec une base interne ovoïdale.

12. Garantie

L’appareil est garanti pour une période de deux ans à compter de la date de livraison. La date faisant foi sera celle reportée sur le bon d’achat/facture, à moins que l’acheteur ne prouve que la livraison a été successive

à cette date. En cas de vice du produit préexistant à la date de livraison,

Bialetti garantit la réparation ou la substitution de l’appareil sans aucun frais, à moins que l’une des deux solutions résulte disproportionnée par

rapport à l’autre. L’acheteur a le devoir de dénoncer au vendeur le défaut de conformité dans les deux mois qui suivent la découverte du défaut.

La garantie ne couvre pas les parties résultant défectueuses à cause d’une négligence ou d’une utilisation impropre, comme par exemple :

• Dommages dérivant de heurts, chutes ou rayures dues à l’emploi

d’ustensiles non appropriés.

13. Elimination de l’appareil

• Ce produit est conforme à la directive 2012/19/CE.

• Le symbole de la corbeille barrée reporté sur l’appareil indique que

le produit doit être traité séparément des déchets urbains à la n de sa durée de vie. Il doit être remis à un centre de récolte différenciée

pour appareillages électriques et électroniques ou bien au vendeur

lors de l’acquisition d’un nouvel appareil équivalent.

• Bevor das Gerät an den Strom angeschlossen wird, sicherstellen, dass

die Angaben auf dem Typenschild mit den Merkmalen des Stromnetzes

übereinstimmen. Das Typenschild bendet sich am Boden des Geräts.

• Im Allgemeinen sollte man auf die Benutzung von Adaptern, Mehr-

fachsteckdosen und/oder Verlängerungskabeln verzichten. Sollte deren Verwendung aber unumgänglich sein, benutzen Sie nur einfache oder mehrfache Adapter und Verlängerungskabel, die den geltenden Sicherheitsbestimmungen entsprechen, und achten Sie auch darauf,

dass der Grenzwert der Strombelastbarkeit (auf einfachen Adaptern und Verlängerungskabeln angegeben) nicht überschritten wird. Bei mehrfachen Adaptern achten Sie auf die angegebene Maximalleistung.

• Das Gerät nicht unnötig eingeschaltet lassen. Wenn es nicht ge-

braucht wird, den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.

• Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird, sollte der Wasser-

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN

• Das Gerät nicht mit nassen oder feuchten Händen anfassen.

• Das Gerät nicht barfuß benutzen.

• Das Kabel nicht über scharfe Kanten führen, befestigen oder hängen

lassen.

• Um ein gefährliches Überhitzen zu vermeiden, sollte das Kabel in

seiner ganzen Länge ausgerollt werden. Außerdem müssen die Empfehlungen im Abschnitt „Hinweise für korrekten Einsatz des Geräts“ eingehalten werden.

• Wenn Sie beschließen, ein Gerät dieses Typs nicht mehr zu benutzen,

muss es funktionsuntüchtig gemacht werden, indem das Elektrokabel nach Herausziehen des Steckers durchgeschnitten wird. Außerdem

sollte man die Teile des Gerätes unschädlich machen, die eine Ge-

fahrenquelle für Kinder darstellen, wenn diese damit spielen sollten.

5. Erste Verwendung des Geräts

Den Wassertank (6) entnehmen und mit sauberem Wasser bis zum Füllstand „MAX“ auffüllen.

Das Gerät anhand der Leucht-

taste (1) in der oberen Seite einschalten.

Das Versorgungskabels (5) in

eine Steckdose stecken wie im Abschnitt „Hinweise" beschrie-

ben.

Während des Aufheizens des

Kessels, die Lampe der Leucht-

taste (1) blinkt ROT. Wenn die grüne Lampe stetig leuchtet, ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.

DAS GERÄT NICHT BEI LEEREM WASSERTANK BENUTZEN.

Eine Tasse auf das Tassenabstellgitter (3) stellen und die Leuchttaste (1) drücken, um die Wasserausgabe einzuleiten. Die Ausgabe durch erneutes Drücken der Taste unterbrechen, wenn die Tasse fast voll ist. Den Durchgang mindestens 3-mal wiederholen.

6. Zubereitung des Kaffees

DIE LEUCHTTASTE (1) LÄNGER ALS 3 SEKUNDEN GEDRÜCKT HALTEN, UM DAS GERÄT JEDERZEIT ABZUSCHALTEN.

Die Kapsel in die Aufnahme des

Kapselkastens (3) stellen und ins Gerätegehäuse (7) einsetzen.

Eine Tasse auf das Tassenabstellgit-

ter (3) stellen. Die Kaffeeausgabe

durch Betätigen der entsprechen-

den Leuchttaste (1) starten. Wenn der Kaffee das gewünschte Niveau

in der Tasse erreicht hat, das Ge-

7. Wartung

REINIGUNG DES GERÄTS

BEVOR DIE REINIGUNG VORGENOMMEN WIRD, IMMER DEN STECKER AUS DER STECKDOSE ZIEHEN. DAS GERÄTGEHÄUSE (7) KEINESFALLS INS WASSER ODER SONSTIGE FLÜSSIGKEITEN TAUCHEN UND NICHT IN DER SPÜLMASCHINE WASCHEN.

• Zur Reinigung des Gerätegehäuses (7) ein feuchtes Tuch verwenden und den Einsatz von Scheuermitteln oder Lösungsmittel vermeiden.

• Der Tank (6) sollte jeden Tag ausgespült werden. Kein Wasser länger als 5 Tage im Tank (6) lassen oder falls dies geschieht, das Wasser auswechseln und vor der Ausgabe von Kaffee eine Ausgabe von 50 ml ohne Kapsel vornehmen.

Den Kapselkasten (3) unter dem Wasserhahn abspülen, um Kaffeepulverreste zu beseitigen. Die Auffangschale (4) regelmäßig leeren, um das Auslaufen von Was-

ser aus dieser Komponente sowie

eventuelle Betriebsstörungen und/

oder Schäden an der Maschine zu

vermeiden. Eventuell das Äußere und Innere der Auffangschale (4) und des Tassenabstellgitters (3) mit normalem Spülmittel reinigen.

Keine scharfen oder scheuernden Gegenstände verwenden, um das

Gerät nicht zu beschädigen.

7. Wartung

ENTKALKEN DER MASCHINE

Der normale Gebrauch der Maschine mit Mineralwasser aus der Flasche

oder aus der Wasserleitung bewirkt die Bildung von Kalk. Es wird empfohlen, jeweils nach 300 Kaffeezubereitungen (alternativ alle 3-4 Monate) eine Entkalkung durchzuführen und/oder sobald eine konstante Verringerung des ausgegebenen Kaffeeusses festgestellt wird.

DIE HÄUFIGKEIT DIESES VORGANGS HÄNGT VOM HÄRTEGRAD DES VERWENDETEN WASSERS AB.

A) Eine Dosis Bialetti-Entkalkungslösung oder ein gleichwertiges Produkt

(ungiftig und für Kaffeemaschinen geeignet) in den Wassertank (6) geben.

KEINEN ESSIG ODER ESSIGLÖSUNGEN ALS ENTKALKER VERWENDEN.

B) Den Wassertank (6) bis zum maximalen Füllstand „MAX“ mit kaltem

Wasser füllen.

C) Die Maschine anhand der Leuchttaste (1) einschalten. Abwarten, bis

die Maschine betriebsbereit ist.

D) Kontrollieren, dass sich keine Kapsel in der Maschine bendet. E) Ausgabe von 2 Tassen Wasser (jeweils ca. 100 ml) durchführen.

Falls notwendig, die Ausgabe bis zur gewünschten Menge mehrmals wiederholen.

F) Die Maschine abschalten. G) Entkalkungsmittel ca. 15-20 Minuten bei ausgeschalteter Maschine

einwirken lassen.

H) Maschine einschalten und erneut die unter Punkt E) beschriebenen

Vorgänge wiederholen.

I) Maschine erneut ca. 5 Minuten lang ausschalten. J) Die unter Punkt E) genannten Vorgänge bis zum vollständigen

Verbrauch des Wassers im Tank wiederholen.

K) Wassertank (6) entnehmen und gründlich mit kaltem sauberem

Wasser ausspülen.

L) Tank (6) mit sauberem Wasser bis zum Füllstand „MAX“ auffüllen

und in die entsprechende Aufnahmestelle einsetzen.

M) Die Wasserausgabe bis zum vollständigen Entleeren des Wassertanks

(6) einzuleiten.

N) Die vorher in den Punkten L) und M) beschriebenen Arbeitsgänge

zwei Mal wiederholen.

8. Energie-

sparbetrieb

Dieses Gerät wurden in Konformität mit den Richtlinien EG 1275/2008 und 2009/125/EG entwickelt, welche die Anwendung einer Energiesparfunktion vorschreiben. Dieses Gerät verfügt über eine Standby-Funktion, die nach 10 Minuten Inaktivität aktiviert wird; das Gerät schaltet sich ab und der Stromverbrauch liegt in diesem Zustand unter 0,5 W. Für die erneute Inbetriebnahme der Maschine muss die Leuchttaste (1) erneut gedrückt werden. Die Maschine startet die Aufheizphase des Heizelements (rote Leuchtanzeige blinkt) und zeigt nach Erreichen der Betriebstemperatur den Bereitschaftsstatus an (Leuchtanzeige leuchtet durchgehend). DIE AUFWÄRMZEIT IST DAVON ABHÄNGIG, WIE LANGE DAS GERÄT NICHT BENUTZT WURDE. WENN SIE MEHRERE STUNDEN LANG NICHT BENUTZT WURDE, KANN DIE WARTEZEIT BIS ZU 50 SEKUNDEN BETRAGEN. 12. Garantie

Das Gerät hat eine Garantie von zwei Jahren ab Lieferdatum. Ausschlaggebend ist das Datum des Kassenzettels bzw. der Rechnung, es sei denn dass der Käufer eine spätere Lieferung nachweisen kann. Im Fall von

Mängeln des Produkts, die im Moment des Kaufs bereits vorhanden wa-

ren, gewährleistet Bialetti die kostenlose Reparatur bzw. den Austausch des Geräts, falls eine der beiden Lösungen übermäßige Kosten mit sich bringt. Der Käufer ist gehalten, Konformitätsmängel beim Verkäufer innerhalb von zwei Monaten ab Feststellung des Mangels zu melden.

Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind alle Teile, deren Schaden auf Nachlässigkeit oder unsachgemäße Verwendung zurückzuführen ist, wie beispielsweise:

• Schäden infolge von Stößen, Stürzen oder Kratzern wegen Verwen-

dung ungeeigneter Küchengeräte.

• Störungen infolge von Verkalkung bzw. nicht regelmäßiger Entkalkung.

• Mangelnde Einhaltung der Betriebsanleitung des Geräts.

• Falsche Installation oder Wartung durch nicht autorisierte Personen.

• Normaler Verschleiß.

• Schäden durch willkürliche Veränderungen im Inneren des Geräts.

• Schäden durch Betrieb mit einer nicht den Angaben des Betriebs-

und Wartungsanleitung übereinstimmenden Spannung.

• Schäden durch Transport oder sonstige Umstände, die nicht als Fertigungsfehler des Geräts zu betrachten sind.

• Schäden infolge von Reparaturen, die bei nicht qualizierten Kundendienststellen ausgeführt wurden.

Die Garantie wird auch in allen Fällen unsachgemäßen oder professio-

nellen Gebrauchs des Geräts hinfällig. Bialetti trägt keinerlei Haftung für

Schäden an Personen, Sachen und Haustieren, die durch mangelnde Ein-

haltung der in dieser Anleitung aufgeführten Anweisungen bezüglich der Installation, des Betriebs und der Wartung des Geräts zustande kommen.

Vertraglich vorgesehene Garantieleistungs-Maßnahmen gegen den Ver-

käufer sind vorbehalten. DER HERSTELLER BEHÄLT SICH DAS RECHT VOR, AN SEINEN PRODUK-

13. Entsorgung

• Dieses Produkt ist mit der Richtlinie 2012/19/EG konform.

• Das Symbol des durchgestrichenen Abfallkorbs auf dem Gerät be-

deutet, dass das Produkt am Ende seiner Standzeit getrennt vom Hausmüll entsorgt und in ein Zentrum für getrennte Abfallsammlung von elektrischen und elektronischen Altgeräten gebracht werden muss oder bei Erwerb eines gleichwertigen Geräts beim Händler

abgegeben werden kann.

• Der Benutzer ist für die Ablieferung des Altgeräts bei der Sammel-

stelle seines Gebiets verantwortlich, bei Strafe der in den geltenden

Abfallgesetzen vorgesehenen Sanktionen.
