Sie haben sich für das Kondensatormikrofon MC 910 /
930 / 950 von beyerdynamic entschieden. Vielen Dank
für Ihr Vertrauen. Nehmen Sie sich bitte einige Minuten
Zeit und lesen Sie diese Produkt information vor
Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch.
Sicherheit
• Schützen Sie das Mikrofon vor Feuchtigkeit, Herunter fallen und Schlag. Sie könnten sich oder andere verletzen bzw. das Mikrofon beschädigen.
• Pusten Sie nicht in das Mikrofon und vermeiden Sie es,
auf den Mikrofonkorb zu klopfen. Zur Funktionskontrolle sollten Sie in das Mikrofon sprechen oder ganz
leicht am Mikrofonkorb kratzen.
• Achten Sie bei kabelgebundenen Mikrofonen stets
darauf, dass die Mikrofonkabel so verlegt werden,
dass niemand darüber stolpern und sich verletzen
kann.
Anwendung
Das MC 910 / 930 / 950 wird bei Rundfunk und
Fernsehen, in Aufnahme- und Filmstudios sowie auf der
Bühne eingesetzt. Es eignet sich hervorragend zur
Aufnahme von Chor, Solostimmen, Holz- und
Blechblasinstrumenten, Klavier und Saiteninstrumenten
sowie als Overheadmikrofon am Schlagzeug.
Für Sprach- und Vokalaufnahmen aus kurzer Entfernung
sowie für Aufnahmen im Freien empfehlen wir den
Windschutz WS 101, den Sie einfach auf das Mikrofon
setzen.
Anschluss
Das MC 910 / 930 / 950 hat einen 3-poligen XLR-Stecker.
Sie können es an jeden Mikrofoneingang mit
Phantomspeisung (11- 52 V) anschließen. Erhältliche
Anschlusskabel siehe „Zubehör optional“.
Befestigung
Zum Lieferumfang des MC 910 / 930 / 950 gehört die
Mikrofonklammer MKV 9 für Stative mit 3/8"-Gewinde.
Für Stative mit 5/8"-Gewinde können Sie den Gewindeeinsatz herausschrauben (z.B. mit einer Geldmünze).
Zur Befestigung mit der MKV 9 drücken Sie das Mikrofon
MC 910 / 930 / 950 einfach zwischen die beiden elastischen Backen der Mikrofonklammer. Die Mikrofon klammer ist drehbar.
Einstellen der Vordämpfung
Bei höheren Schalldrücken können Sie mit dem rechten
Schiebeschalter auf der Vorderseite des Mikrofons eine
Vordämpfung von 15 dB zuschalten (Aufdruck -15 dB).
Einstellen der Tiefenabsenkung
Wird ein Richtmikrofon (Druckgradientenempfänger) für
Aufnahmen aus kurzer Entfernung eingesetzt, entsteht
eine physikalisch bedingte Anhebung der tieffrequenten
Schallanteile, die als Nahbesprechungseffekt bezeichnet
wird. Zum Ausgleich dieses Effektes haben das MC 930
und MC 950 auf der Vorderseite (links) eine zuschaltbare
Tiefenabsenkung unterhalb von 250 Hz mit 6 dB je
Oktave. Beim MC 910 kann mit diesem Schalter der tonale
Charakter des Mikrofons geändert werden.
Pflege
Zum Reinigen der metallischen Oberfläche nehmen Sie
ein feuchtes, weiches Tuch. Bei Bedarf können Sie ein
mildes Reinigungsmittel (z.B. Geschirrspülmittel) verwenden, auf keinen Fall lösemittelhaltige Reiniger. Achten Sie
darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Mikrofon läuft.
Den Windschutz WS 101 können Sie in klarem Wasser
reinigen. Vor dem nächsten Gebrauch sollte er vollständig
trocken sein.
Service
Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an autorisiertes Fach per sonal. Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall das Mikrofon
selbst zu reparieren, Sie könnten sonst alle Garantieansprüche verlieren.

Thank you for selecting the MC 910 / 930 / 950 condenser
microphone from beyerdynamic. Please take some time
to read carefully through this information before using
the microphone.
Safety Information
• Protect the microphone from moisture and sudden
impacts. You could either injure yourself or others or
damage the microphone.
• Do not blow into the microphone. In a condenser
microphone this could damage the transformer. It is
preferable to carry out a speech trial.
• When using wired microphones always ensure that
the microphone cable is laid so that it does not present
a trip hazard.
Application
Applications for the MC 910 / 930 / 950 include broadcasting, recording and film studios and on stage. The
microphones are suitable for miking choirs, solos, woodwind and brass instruments, piano and string instruments
or for overheads on drums.
When the microphones are used outdoors or for close
miking, we recommend using the WS 101 wind shield
which can be fitted on the microphone.
Connection
The MC 910 / 930 / 950 provide a 3-pin XLR connector and
can be connected to any microphone input with phantom
power supply (11 - 52 V). For connecting cables, please
refer to “Optional Accessories”.
Installation
As supplied the MC 910 / 930 / 950 include the MKV 9
microphone clamp for stands with 3/8" thread. For stands
with a 5/8" thread, the thread adapter can be unscrewed
using a small coin.
To attach to the swivelling MKV 9 the MC 910 / 930 / 950
should be pressed between the two elastic jaws of the
clamp.
How to select the Pre-attenuation
For higher sound pressure levels a pre-attenuation of
15 dB can be applied with the right slide switch on the
front of the microphones (imprint: -15 dB).
How to select the Low-cut Filter
If a directional microphone (pressure gradient) is used for
close vocal miking the low frequencies are pre-emphasised;
this is known as proximity effect. To compensate this
effect, the MC 930 and MC 950 provide a switchable
low-cut filter on the front (left) below 250 Hz with
6 dB/octave. With the MC 910 the sound characteristic of
the microphone can be changed with this switch.
Maintenance
For cleaning metal surfaces, use a soft, damp cloth using
only gentle cleansing agents (such as washing-up liquid).
Make sure that no water drops into the microphone and
do not use any solvent cleansers.
Clean the WS 101 wind shield in clear, warm water. It
should be completely dry, before it is used again.
Service
Servicing must be carried out by qualified service
personnel only. Dismantling the microphone yourself will
invalidate the guarantee.

Sécurité
• Veillez à ce que le microphone soit protégé de
l’humidité et de tous dommages résultant de chutes
ou de chocs mécaniques.
• Ne soufflez pas dans le microphone. Dans le cas d’un
microphone à condensateur, vous pourriez endommager
le transformateur. Effectuez plutôt un test de parole.
• Pour les microphones à câble, veuillez à poser les
câbles de sorte à ce que nul ne puisse trébucher
dessus et se blesser.
Application
MC 910 / 930 / 950 est utilisé à la radio et à la télévision,
dans les studios d’enregistrement et de cinéma ainsi que
sur scène. Il se prête particulièrement bien à l’enregistrement de chœurs, voix solo, d’instruments à vent en bois
et en cuivre, de piano et d’instruments à cordes de même
qu’à l’utilisation en tant que microphone suspendu pour
la prise de batterie.
Pour les enregistrements vocaux de proximité ainsi qu’en
plein air, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser la protection
anti-vent WS 101 que vous placez simplement sur le
microphone.
Branchement
Le MC 910 / 930 / 950 est muni d’un connecteur XLR à 3
broches et peut être branché sur n’importe quelle entrée de
microphone fournissant une tension fantôme de 11 - 52 V
(voir «Accessoires en option» pour des câbles de connexion
livrables).
Fixation
Le MC 910 / 930 / 950 est fourni avec une pince de
microphone MKV 9 pour un pied avec filetage 3/8". Si vous
possédez un pied avec filetage 5/8", vous pouvez dévisser
la broches filetée, par ex. avec une pièce de monnaie.
Pour fixer le MC 910 / 930 / 950 avec la pince MKV 9,
veuillez simplement pousser le micro dans cette pince
qui peut être tourné.
Réglage de la pré-atténuation
Pour des pressions acoustiques plus élevées, vous pouvez
raccorder une pré-atténuation de 15 dB à l’aide de
l’interrupteur à coulisse de droite, situé sur l’avant du
microphone (impression -15 dB).
Réglage de l’atténuation des basses
Lors de l’utilisation d’un microphone directionnel (récepteur à gradient de pression) pour des enregistrements à
faible distance de la source sonore, on observe une
augmentation des graves due aux lois de la physique,
appelée effet de proximité. Pour compenser cet effet,
MC 930 et MC 950 sont dotés sur la face avant (gauche)
d’un dispositif commutable d’atténuation des basses à
250 Hz avec respectivement 6 dB par octave. Sur le
modèle MC 910, cet interrupteur permet de modifier le
caractère sonore du microphone.
Entretien
Pour nettoyer les surfaces métalliques, veuillez utiliser
un tissu doux humidifié. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez ajouter
un produit de nettoyage doux (par ex. produit pour
vaisselle), mais en aucun cas des produits détergeants.
Veillez à ce que toute pénétration de l’eau dans le microphone soit évitée.
Le dispositif anti-vent WS 101 peut être nettoyé avec de
l’eau claire. Séchez-le avant la remise.
Service après-vente
En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un technicien
beyerdynamic autorisé. N’ouvrez jamais le microphone,
vous risquerez sinon de perdre vous droits de garantie.
