DESCRIPTION
The Iris RP Mk II infrared receiver has been designed for the reception
of 8 or 16 audio channels within the frequency band 2 to 6 MHz.
Within this frequency band interference caused by Plasma TV sets
or fluorescent light tubes is not possible.
The DQPSK digital modulation technology ensures smooth operation.
The generation of this infrared receiver allows the use even under
direct solar radiation where normally the reception would not be
possible due to excessive brightness.
The receiver is provided with a channel selector switch and volume
control. The channel is displayed on the LC-Display. Depending on
the version, there are 8 or 16 channels available. LEDs display the
battery and signal status. When leaving the infrared field or when
removing the headphone from the socket, the device will automatically be switched off after approx. 5 minutes.
The receiver can be worn around the neck with a cord or attached
to the clothing with a clip.
The Iris RP Mk II infrared receiver is compliant with the international
IEC 61603-7 standard.
