Self-Contained Purge Volume Eliminates Need for Separate Purge System

Proven Design

The Bendix® AD-IP® air dryer removes moisture, oil and other
contaminants from your air brake system before they can
clog reservoirs, lines or valves. Bendix pioneered desiccant
air dryers for heavy-duty commercial vehicles over 35 years
ago. And when designing the AD-IP
experience to provide greater efficiency in a more compact
air dryer.

Integral Purge

The AD-IP® air dryer uses a self-contained purge volume
integrated with the desiccant cartridge to eliminate the need
for a separate purge system. As a result, no extra purge tank
or valves are required.

Simple Service

The AD-IP® air dryer keeps maintenance simple and reduces
service downtime. All components can be changed without
removing the unit from the vehicle and cartridge replacement
doesn’t require a strap wrench or other special tools. In fact,
changing the cartridge only requires removing one easily
accessed bolt on the bottom of the dryer.

Premium Desiccant

Our premium, high-crush-strength desiccant is produced
with a composition that is more efficient and longer lasting
than other desiccants. And it provides outstanding protection
against contamination for up to five years in typical line haul
service.

Excellent Warranty

The Bendix® AD-IP® air dryer does such an exceptional job
that, under normal usage, it's warranted for three years or
350,000 miles.* And if it’s installed as original equipment on
the vehicle, you’re eligible for our Total Air Guarantee (T.A.G.)
program. T.A.G. extends the warranty of other Bendix air and
antilock brake system components also installed as original
equipment for three years or 350,000 miles.**

AD-IP® AIR DRYER

Recyclable

When you buy a new Bendix® air dryer or replacement
cartridge, simply return your old one to us. We recycle
parts of the old dryer and cartridge and properly dispose
of the rest.

Extended Purge Option

The Bendix® AD-IP® air dryer is also available in an
extended purge version for higher air usage applications
that require greater drying capacity.
