1. Before You Start
1. Please unplug the power cable before you start to work.
2. Please read and follow the instructions in this document carefully. Failure to
follow these instructions could damage your device and void the warranty.
1.1. Tools Suggested
All procedures in this document require the following tools:
#0 Phillips screwdriver #1 Phillips screwdriver
(Magnetized suggested) (Magnetized suggested)
1.5 mm hexagon socket spanner
(Magnetized suggested)

2. Opening the Device
1. Loosen the screw as shown.
2. Separate the device from the base.
3. Un-tighten the four screws on the back panel anticlockwise.

4. Separate the back panel from the front panel by lifting up and lay it down
carefully.

For relative location of onboard connectors, please refer to the pictures below.

1. Open the two ejectors on the slot by pushing them, and remove the RAM
from the slot.
2. Align and insert the new RAM into the slot and push both ends of the RAM down until the ejectors snap into place.
3. Disconnect the SATA cable from the SATA HDD1 connector of the main board.
4. Disconnect: 1. VGA cable, 2 LVDS (LCD) cable, 3. inverter cable, 4. led
CABLE, 5. speaker cable and 6. power switch cable from the mainboard.

5. Disconnect: 1. Parallel port cable and 2. Touch panel cable.
6. Loosen the two screws by 1.5 mm hexagon socket spanner as shown
below.
7. Loosen the four screws fixing the mainboard.

8. Remove the mainboard.
9. Loosen the four screws by 1.5 mm hexagon socket spanner as shown
below, and then you can remove the VGA port cable and the parallel port
cable.
10. Loosen the two screws as shown and remove the IO bracket.

11. Remove the power switch.

4. HDD Replacement
1. Loosen the four screws by #1 Phillips screwdriver and Unplug the SATA cable and power cable from the HDD, then you can remove the HDD assembly.
2. Loosen the four screws fixing the HDD on the both side, and then you can remove the HDD.
3. Install the new HDD in the reverse procedure from Step 4 to Step 1.

5. LCD Inverter Replacement
1. Disconnect three connecters shown below.
2. Disconnect three connecters and three screws from LCD inverter as
shown below, and then you can remove the LCD inverter.
3. Install the new LCD inverter in the reverse procedure.

6. LCD Panel Replacement
1. Unplug the LED indicator.
2. Disconnect the touch panel cable.
3. Loosen the two screws and remove the led indicator len.
4. Remove the black tape and then disconnect the LCD cable.

5. Loosen the six screws as shown and remove the LCD assembly from the front bezel.
6. Loosen the four screws as shown, and then you can remove the LCD from the LCD chassis.
