Belt Drives Ball Bearing Lockup Clutch User Manual

INSTALLATION FOR BDL BALL BEARING LOCK UP CLUTCH
BPP-100 BDL pressure plate with 32
-3/8” chromium steel ball bearings and
special adjustment screw and nut.
Holding assembly with pressure against the diaphragm so that the ball bearings are secured, place
assembly on to clutch basket.
BPP100-500-700
While firmly holding assembly on clutch basket, locate holes in the clutch hub and screw the
shoulder bolts in.
Place BDL retainer over diaphragm and insert shoulder bolts.
Tighten shoulder bolts down to approx. 25 TO 30 foot pounds.

BPP-700 Lock up for Primo belt drives 1990-2007. Pressure plate with 42-5/16 “
chromium steel ball bearings.
Place BDL diaphragm over ball bearings then use Primo retainer, adjustment screw and bolts and install assembly onto Primo clutch basket using procedure outlined above. Re-adjust clutch
per Primo instructions.
BPP-500 Lock up for HD 1998-2007 BDL pressure plate with 45- 5/16” chromium steel ball bearings. Install with stock HD diaphragm, retainer and bolts and install as per HD manual. Re-adjust clutch as per
HD manual.
