How to set up the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002
The Belkin SOUNDFORM™ ELITE Hi-Fi Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger, G1S0002 has been created in partnership with sound
pioneers Devialet to deliver high-fidelity sound for an impactful audio experience. With built-in Amazon Alexa virtual assistant, you
can play music, find answers, manage everyday tasks, and control other smart devices around your home with your voice.
Using AirPlay® 2, you can easily stream audio from your Apple® phone, tablet, or computer to the speaker.
A thoughtfully designed charging cradle holds your smartphone securely for fast, convenient wireless charging. This guide will walk
you through in setting up the Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002.
Before you begin…
You will need the following:
• Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE G1S0002
• The latest Belkin SOUNDFORM app installed on your smartphone or tablet
• A smartphone or tablet connected to the same Wi-Fi you wish to connect your speaker to.
Step 1:
Connect the AC adapter to the speaker and then plug it into an AC outlet. The speaker will begin its startup sequence.
Once it has completely started up, the four status lights on the front of the unit will begin to slowly pulse blue, and the speaker
will inform you that it is ready for setup.
Step 2:
Open the Belkin SOUNDFORM app.
It will begin searching for speakers
on your Wi-Fi.
Step 3:
Since no speakers have been set up
yet, the app will ask if you want to add
a device. Tap Add Device to continue.
Step 4:
The app will ask you to make sure that
the speaker is plugged in and powered
on. Tap Next to continue.

Confirm that the four lights on the
front of the speaker are blinking blue
to indicate it is in setup mode.
Tap on indicator is blinking to
continue.
The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will
search again for the speaker.
Once found, it will list all the speakers it
found. Tap on the name of the speaker
you want to set up and then tap on
Setup this device.
Enter the Wi-Fi name you wish to
connect the speaker to. After choosing
the Wi-Fi, enter the password for the
network and tap Next to continue.
QUICK TIP: If the app can’t locate the
Wi-Fi or you want to choose a dierent
Wi-Fi, tap on Change Wi-Fi.
NOTE: For security, the password is
hidden when you enter it in the
password field. Tapping the closed eye
Step 8:
The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will now
connect the speaker to the Wi-Fi.
You will receive a confirmation
message once it connects. Tap Next to
continue.
Step 9:
The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will
check to make sure that the speaker
has the newest firmware. If not, it will
update before continuing. All of this is
done automatically and does not need
any intervention from you.

You will now be prompted to choose a
name for the speaker as it will be
shown on your Wi-Fi. By default, the
factory-supplied name will be chosen.
You can choose to leave it as it is,
select a pre-defined name, or tap
Custom… to give it a name that is not
on the list. After choosing the name
you wish for the speaker tap Next.
NOTE: You can change the speaker
name later, if you like, using the app.
The Belkin SOUNDFORM ELITE
G1S0002 has an Amazon Alexa feature.
The Belkin SOUNDFORM app will ask if
you would like to set up Alexa at this
time. Alexa is not required to set up or
use the speaker.

If you prefer, however, to skip the Alexa
setup and complete the speaker setup,
tap on Skip.
Once you have set up the speaker, you
will be taken to the speaker’s screen
and you can now use the speaker.
