Congratulations on your choice of our product which will certainly provide you with many years
of good service.

Safety comes first!

Please read this Instruction Manual carefully. It contains important information on how to use
your new appliance. If instructions are not adhered to, you may lose your right to service at
no charge during the warranty period. Please keep this manual in a safe place and pass it on
to later users if applicable.

• Do not connect your appliance to the power supply until all packing and transit protectors
have been removed.

• Leave to stand upright for at least 4 hours before switching on to allow the system to settle

if transported horizontally.

• This appliance must only be used for its intended purpose, i.e. the storing and freezing of

edible foodstuff.

• We do not recommend use of this appliance in an unheated, cold room e.g. garage,

conservatory, annex, shed, outdoors etc., see ‘Location’.

• On delivery, check to make sure that the product is not damaged and that all the parts and

accessories are in perfect condition.

• Do not operate a damaged appliance if in doubt, check with your dealer.

• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.

• Do not sit or stand on, or let the children sit or stand on the appliance or on the pull-out parts.

• Do not hang on the appliance door.

• Your appliance contains no fluoridated coolants (CFC/HFC), but isobutane

(R 600 a), a natural gas which is highly compatible with the environment.

(R 600 a) is easily flammable. Therefore, be sure that the cooling circuit is not damaged

either during transport or during operations.

In the event of damage;

• Avoid any open flame, sources of sparks and flammable substances.

• Immediately air the room in which the appliance is located.

• The space in the room where the appliance is installed must not be smaller than 10 cubic

metres.

• Do not dispose of the appliance in a fire. Your appliance contains non CFG substances in

the insulation which are flammable.

• Please contact your local authority in your region for information on disposal methods and
facilities available.

Transport instructions

The device should be transported only in
upright position.
The packing as supplied must be intact during
transportation.
After a transport in the horizontal position, the
device may only be taken into operation 4
hours after being stood up vertically again.
The appliance must be protected against rain,
moisture and other atmospheric influences.
The manufacturer assumes no liability if safety
instructions are disregarded.

A Disposal

Make the device unusable immediately. Pull
out the mains plug and cut the power cable.

Remove or destroy snap or latch locks before
disposing of the device. In this manner you
prevent children from locking themselves in
and endangering their lives.

Appliance setup

• Do not operate your appliance in a room
where the temperature is likely to fall below

10 °C at night and/or especially in winter. At
lower temperatures the appliance may not
operate, resulting in a reduction in the storage
life of the food.

• The climate class rate of your appliance is
given on the rating label located inside the
appliance. It specifies the appropriate operating
ambient temperatures as explained below.

Location

Only place the device in dry rooms which can
be aired.

Avoid direct sunlight or direct heat sources
such as a stove or a heater.

If this cannot be avoided, the following

minimum distances should be maintained:

Electric stoves: 3,00 cm
Heater: 3,00 cm

Cooling devices: 2,50 cm

• Ensure sufficient air circulation for your
device.

• Make sure that sufficient room is provided
around the appliance to ensure free air
circulation.

• The device should be located on a smooth
surface.

Electrical connections

This appliance must be grounded.

• Check whether the power type and voltage
your region corresponds to the one stated on
the rating label inside the appliance.

• The electrical safety of the appliance is only
assured when the grounding system in the
house is installed in accordance with
regulations.

• When placing the appliance, do not let the
power cable get stuck under it; otherwise the
cable will be damaged.

• Ensure that the plug remains readily
accessible. Do not use a multiple adapter bar
or an extension cable.

• The electrical specifications of your appliance
is given on the rating label located inside the
appliance.

• Route power cable to allow easy connection
and disconnection after installation.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid
a hazard.

• A contact separator should be used if the
power cable is not accessible, (for built-in
models)

Prior to startup

Before you begin operating your device, the

following points should be re-checked for
safety:

• Is the device standing properly on the floor?

• Is there sufficient space for good air
circulation?

• Is the interior clean? (Also see the section

“Cleaning and care”)

• Set the thermostat knob half way between

1 and 5 or Min. and Max.

• Now connect the device to the mains.

The compressor is turned on; the interior light
comes on when the door is opened.

Do not place foodstuff into the refrigerator until

the temperature has reached the desired level.

Setting the operating temperature

(Fig. 2)

The operating temperature is regulated by the
temperature control.

The average temperature inside the fridge

should be around +5°C.
Please choose the setting according to the
desired temperature.

You can stop operation of your device by

adjusting the thermostat knob to “0” position.

Please note that there will be different

temperatures in the cooling area.
The coldest region is immediately above the
vegetable compartment.

The interior temperature also depends on

ambient temperature, the frequency with which

the door is opened and the amount of foods

kept inside.
Frequently opening the door causes the interior

temperature to rise.

For this reason, it is recommended to close

the door again as soon as possible after use.

Cooling

Food storage

The fridge compartment is for the short-term
storage of fresh food and drinks.

Store milk products in the intended

compartment in the refrigerator.

Bottles can be stored in the bottle holder or
in the bottle shelf of the door.

Raw meat is best kept in a polyethylene bag
in the compartment at the very bottom of the
refrigerator.

Allow hot foods and beverages to cool to room
temperature prior to placing them in the

refrigerator.

Store concentrated alcohol only standing
upright and tightly closed.

A Attention

Do not store explosive substances or

containers with flammable propellant gases

(canned cream, spray cans etc.) in the device.

There is a danger of explosion.

Defrosting of the device

The fridge compartment defrosts automatically.
The thawing water flows through the drain
channel into a collection container at the rear
of the device (Fig. 4).

During defrosting, water droplets form at the
back of the fridge due to the evaporator.

If not all of the drops run down, they may
freeze again after defrosting remove them
with a cloth soaked in warm water, but never
with a hard or sharp object.

Check the flow of the thawed water from time
to time.lt may become plugged occasionally.

Clean it with a q-tip or similar (see the section
"Cleaning and care").

Freezing

Freezing food

The freezing compartment is marked with

symbol.

You can use the appliance for freezing fresh
food as well as for storing pre-frozen food.

Please refer to the recommendations given
on the packaging of your food.

A Attention

Do not freeze fizzy drinks, as the bottle may
burst when the liquid in it is frozen.

Be careful with frozen products such as
coloured ice-cubes.
Do not exceed the freezing capacity of your
appliance in 24 hours. See the rating label.

In order to maintain the quality of the food, the
freezing must be effected as rapidly as possible.
Thus, the freezing capacity will not be

exceeded, and the temperature inside the
freezer will not rise.

A Attention

Keep the already deep-frozen food always

separated with freshly placed food.

When deep-freezing hot food, the cooling

compressor will work until the food is completely
frozen. This can temporarily cause excessive

cooling of the refrigeration compartment.

If you find the freezer door difficult to open just

after you have closed it, don’t worry. This is

due to the pressure difference which will

equalize and allow the door to open normally

after a few minutes.
You will hear a vacuum sound just after closing
the door. This is quite normal.

Making ice cubes

Fill the ice-cube tray 3/4 full with water and
place it in the freezer.

As soon as the water has turned into ice, you

can take out the ice cubes.
Never use sharp objects such as knives or

forks to remove the ice cubes. There is a risk

of injury!

Let the ice cubes slightly thaw instead, or put

the bottom of the tray in hot water for a short

moment.

Defrosting of the device

Excessive build-up of ice will affect the freezing
performance of your device.
It is therefore recommended that you defrost

your device at least twice a year, or whenever
the ice build-up exceeds 7 mm.

Defrost your device when there is only little or
no food in it.

Take out the deep-frozen food. Wrap the deep­frozen food in several layers of paper, or a

blanket, and keep it in a cold place.
Unplug the device or shut off or remove the

fuse to start the defrosting process.
Take out the accessories (like shelf, drawer

etc.) from the device and use a suitable
container to collect the thawing water.

Use a sponge or a soft cloth to remove thawing

water if necessary (Fig. 6).

Keep the door open during defrosting.
For quicker defrosting, place containers with

warm water inside the device.

Never use electrical appliances, defrosting
sprays or pointed or sharp-edged objects such
as knives or forks to remove the ice.

After the defrosting is done, clean the inside

(see the section “Cleaning and Care”).

Reconnect the device to the mains. Place the

frozen food in the drawers and inside the
freezer.

Replacing the interior
light buib (Fig. 4)

Should the light fail to work, proceed as follows.

1- Switch off at the socket outlet and pull

out the mains plug.
You may find it useful to remove shelves for

easy access.
2- Use a flat tipped screwdriver to remove the

light diffuser cover.

3- First check that the bulb hasn’t worked loose

by ensuring it is screwed securely in the holder.

Replace the plug and switch on.

If the bulb works, replace the light cover by

inserting the rear lug and pushing up to locate
the front two lugs.
4- If the light still fails to work, switch off at the

socket outlet and pull out the mains plug.

Replace the bulb with a new 15 watt (max)

screw cap (SES) bulb.

5- Carefully dispose of the burnt-out light bulb

immediately.

Replacement light bulb can easily be obtained
from a good local electrical or DIY store.

Cleaning and care

Interior and Exterior Surfaces

A Attention

Always unplug the power cable or switch

off the circuit breaker before cleaning.

Clean the exterior using lukewarm water and

a mild detergent.

To preserve the appearance of your device,
you can polish the exterior and the door
accessories with a silicone wax.

Clean the condenser at the back of the device
once a year using a brush or a vacuum cleaner.
Dust build-up leads to increased energy
consumption.

Inspect the door gasket at regular intervals.

Clean with water only, and wipe totally dry.

Cleaning of the accessories

Door shelves:
Remove all food from the door shelves.
Lift the cover of the shelf upwards and pull it
off sideward.
Remove the bottom of the door shelf by
pushing it upwards.

Collecting container (Pan):
Make sure that the pan at the back of the
device is always clean.
Gently release the snap of the pan from the
compressor by pushing it using a tool (like
screwdriver), so that the pan can be removed.

Lift the pan, clean it and wipe it dry.
Re-assemble in reverse order.

Crisper or Drawers:
To clean a drawer, pull it out as far as possible,
tilt it upwards and then pull it out completely.

Never use detergents, abrasive or acidic

agents.

Wipe the inside compartment dry.

Be careful to prevent water from getting into

contact with the electrical connections of the
temperature control or the interior light.

If the device is not going to be used for a long

period of time, switch it off and remove all food.

Clean the device and keep the door open.

Practical tips and notes

Cooling

• Clean fresh food and vegetables before
storing in the crisper bin.

• Always pack or wrap food, or put it in a
suitable container, before storing it in the
appliance.

• Wrap food which is not suitable for storage
at cold temperatures in polyethylene bags
(pineapple, melons, cucumbers, tomatoes
etc.).

• Food with strong odour or apt to acquire
odour should be wrapped in airtight or smell­proof packaging material.

• Keep fresh food separate from cooked
food, to avoid bacteria contamination.

• Never keep fresh meat in the fridge for
more than 2 or 3 days.

• Remove any left-over canned food from
the can and store it in a suitable
container.

• Refer to the shelf life indicated on the
food packaging.

• Do not obstruct the air circulation inside
the device by covering the shelves.

• Never keep any dangerous or poisonous
substances inside your device.

• Always check food that has been stored
for a long period of time for its suitability for
consumption.

• Do not store fresh and cooked food
together in the same container.

• Close the door immediately after
opening, to avoid unnecessary energy
consumption.

• Do not use hard or sharp objects to
remove the ice build-up.

• Do not load hot food into your device.

Freezing

• Always leave food to thaw in a container that
allows the thawing water to run off.

• Do not exceed the maximum allowable
freezing capacity when freezing fresh food

(see the section "Freezing")

• Do not give children ice-cream and water ices
direct from the freezer.
The low temperature may cause freezer burns
on lips.

• Never re-freeze defrosted food; defrosted food
must be consumed within 24 hours. Only food

that has been cooked can be refrozen.

• Do not take out frozen food with wet hands.

• Store only fresh and impeccable food.

• Always use appropriate packaging material

to avoid odour penetration or degradation of
the food.

• Store commercially frozen food in accordance

with the instructions given on the packaging.

• Freeze cooked food in small quantities. This

ensures rapid freezing and maintains the
quality of the food.

• Do not freeze liquid in tightly closed bottles

or containers.
The bottles/containers may burst at low
temperatures.

• Carry pre-frozen food in suitable bags and
place it in your freezer as soon as possible.

Always defrost food in the fridge compartment.

Normal operating noises

Various functional noises are completely
normal due to the operation of the cooling
system of your appliance;

• Gurgling, hissing, boiling or bubbling noises
are caused by the refrigerant, circulating inside
the cooling system. These noises can still be
heard for a short period of time after the
compressor shuts off.

• Sudden, sharp cracking or popping noises
are caused by the expansion and contraction
of the inside walls or some components inside
the cabinets.

• Buzzing, whirring, pulsating or high-pitched
humming noises are caused by the
compressor. These noises are slightly louder
at the start-up of the compressor and reduce
when the appliance reaches the operating
temperatures.

Also to avoid disturbing vibrations and

noises make sure that;

• Your refrigerator is standing level on all four

feet.

• Your refrigerator is not in contact with the

walls, surrounding objects or kitchen cabinets
and furniture.

• Cans, bottles or dishes inside the refrigerator

are not touching and rattling against each
other.

• All shelves and bins are mounted correctly
inside the refrigerator cabinets and doors.

What, if„„

1- The device will not work, even though it is switched on.

• Check if the mains plug is properly connected!

• Check if the mains supply is in order, or if a

fuse has been tripped!

• Check the temperature control for correct

setting!

2- There is a power failure. Your freezer is suitable for the long-term

storage of frozen food that are available
commercially and also can be used to freeze
and store fresh food.

Do not open the door in case of a power failure.
For aQSI rated appliance, frozen food in

the freezer compartment will not be affected

if the power failure lasts shorter than the

“Conservation Time From Failure (hours)”

mentioned in the rating label.

If the power failure is longer than the
“Conservation Time From Failure (hours)”,
then the food should be checked and either
consumed immediately or cooked and then

re-frozen.

3- The interior light does not work.

Check the power supply!

Check the installation of the light bulb! Unplug
the power supply before checking the light

bulb. (Also see the section “Replacing the

interior light”)

4- Other possible malfunctions

Not every malfunction is a case for our
customer service. Very often, you can easily

resolve the problem without requesting service.

Before requesting service, please check if the

malfunction has been caused by an operating
error. If this is the case, and a service has

been requested, a service charge will be levied
even if the device is still under guarantee.

This product bears the selective

sorting symbol for waste
electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE).

This means that this product

must be handled pursuant to

• Schließen Sie Ihr Gerät nicht an die Stromversorgung an, solange nicht alle Verpackungsstoffe

und Transportsicherungen entfernt wurden.

• Wenn der Transport in waagerechter Lage durchgeführt wurde, lassen Sie das Gerät mindestens

4 Stunden aufrecht stehen, ehe Sie es einschalten, damit sich das Kühlsystem setzen kann.

• Dieses Gerät darf nur für seinen bestimmungsgemäßen Einsatzzweck verwendet werden: also

Transporthinweise

Das Gerät sollte nur in aufrechter Position

Aufstellungsort

Stellen Sie das Gerät nur in trockenen Räumen
auf, die belüftet werden können.

Vor der ersten

Inbetriebnahme

Bevor Sie Ihr Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, sollten
Sie aus Sicherheitsgründen die folgenden Punkte
noch einmal kontrollieren:

• Steht das Gerät sicher und gerade auf dem
Boden?

• Ist ausreichend Platz für gute Luftzirkulation
vorhanden?

• Ist der Innenraum sauber? (Schauen Sie dazu
auch in den Abschnitt „Reinigung und Pflege“.)

• Stellen Sie den Thermostatknopf auf die Mitte
zwischen den Markierungen 1 und 5 oder Min.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nun an die
Stromversorgung an.

Der Kompressor schaltet sich ein, beim Öffnen
der Tür leuchtet die Innenbeleuchtung auf.

Geben Sie noch keine Lebensmittel in das
Kühlgerät, solange die gewünschte Temperatur
noch nicht erreicht ist.

Die Durchschnittstemperatur im Inneren des
Kühlschranks sollte bei etwa +5 °C liegen.
Bitte wählen Sie die der gewünschten

Temperatur entsprechende Einstellung.

Sie können den Betrieb des Gerätes
unterbrechen, indem Sie in den

Thermostatknopf auf die Position „0“ einstellen.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass im Kühlbereich
unterschiedliche Temperaturen herrschen.
Der kälteste Bereich befindet sich unmittelbar
über dem Gemüsefach.

Die Innentemperatur hängt auch von der
Umgebungstemperatur ab, außerdem davon,

wie oft die Tür geöffnet wird und wie viel

Lebensmittel im Inneren gelagert werden.
Beim häufigen Öffnen der Tür steigt die
Innentemperatur an.

Aus diesem Grund empfehlen wir, die Tür

möglichst schnell wieder zu schließen.

Kühlen

Lagern von Lebensmitteln

Der Kühlbereich ist für die kurzfristige
Lagerung von frischen Lebensmitteln und

Getränken vorgesehen.

Lagern Sie Milchprodukte im dafür

vorgesehenen Bereich des Kühlschranks.

Flaschen können Sie im Flaschenhalter oder

in der Flaschenablage der Tür aufbewahren.

Rohes Fleisch geben Sie am besten in einen
Polyethylen-Beutel (PE) und lagern es im

untersten Bereich des Kühlschranks.

Lassen Sie heiße Speisen und Getränke

immer erst auf Raumtemperatur abkühlen,

bevor Sie diese in den Kühlschrank stellen.

Achtung

Lagern Sie hochprozentigen Alkohol nur

aufrecht stehend und fest verschlossen.

Lagern Sie keine explosiven Substanzen oder
Behälter mit brennbaren Treibgasen

(Sprühsahne, Sprühdosen, usw.) im Kühlgerät.

Es besteht Explosionsgefahr.

Abtauen des Gerätes

Der Kühlbereich taut automatisch ab. Das
Tauwasser fließt durch den Abflusskanal in
einen Sammelbehälter an der Rückseite des
Gerätes (Abb. 4).

Beim Abtauen bilden sich durch Verdunstung
Wassertröpfchen an der Rückwand des

Kühlschranks.

Falls nicht alle Tropfen nach unten ablaufen,
können sie nach dem Abtauen wieder
gefrieren. Entfernen Sie diese Rückstände
mit einem mit warmem Wasser getränkten
Tuch, niemals mit harten oder gar scharfen
Gegenständen.

Kontrollieren Sie den Tauwasserfluss von Zeit
zu Zeit. Dieser kann gelegentlich zum Stocken
kommen. Reinigen Sie die Ablaufkanäle mit
einem Wattestäbchen oder etwas ähnlichem
(Lesen Sie dazu den Abschnitt „Reinigung
und Pflege“).

Gefrieren

Einfrieren von Lebensmitteln
Das Tiefkühlfach ist mit dem Symbol

gekennzeichnet.

In Ihrem Gerät können Sie frische Nahrungsmittel

einfrieren und auch bereits gefrorene Lebensmittel

lagern.
Bitte beachten Sie dazu die Empfehlungen auf

der Verpackung der Lebensmittel.

Achtung

Frieren Sie keine kohlensäurehaltigen Getränke

ein: Die Flaschen können beim Einfrieren platzen.
Gehen Sie umsichtig mit gefrorenen Produkten

wie farbigen Eiswürfeln um.

Überschreiten Sie die Tiefkühlkapazität ihres

Geräts innerhalb von 24 Stunden nicht. Beachten
Sie das Typenschild.

Um eine hohe Qualität der Lebensmittel zu
bewahren, müssen Nahrungsmittel so schnell

wie möglich eingefroren werden.

Dadurch sollte die Gefrierkapazität nicht
überschritten werden und die Innentemperatur

des Kühlgerätes nicht ansteigen.
A Achtung

Trennen Sie bereits gefrorene Lebensmittel
grundsätzlich von Nahrungsmitteln, die gerade
erst in des Kühlgerät gegeben wurden.

Beim Einfrieren heißer Speisen arbeitet der
Kompressor so lange, bis die Lebensmittel
komplett gefroren sind. Dies kann vorübergehend

zu einer stärkeren Abkühlung des Kühlbereiches
führen.

Machen Sie sich keine Sorgen, wenn sich die
Kühlschranktür kurz nach dem Schließen nur
mit Mühe öffnen lassen sollte. Dies liegt daran,

dass sich die Druckunterschiede zwischen

Innenraum und Umgebung erst einmal

ausgleichen müssen. Nach ein paar Minuten

lässt sich die Tür ganz normal öffnen.
Nach dem Schließen der Tür hören Sie ein

Vakuumgeräusch. Dies ist völlig normal.

Herstellung von Eiswürfeln

Füllen Sie die Eiswürfelschale zu etwa 3/4 mit
Wasser und stellen Sie diese ins Tiefkühlfach.
Sobald sich das Wasser in Eis verwandelt hat,
können Sie die Eiswürfel herausnehmen.

Benutzen Sie niemals scharfe Gegenstände wie

Messer oder Gabeln zum Herauslösen der

Eiswürfel. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr!

Lassen Sie die Eiswürfel lieber etwas antauen
oder tauchen Sie den Boden der Schale einen

Moment lang in heißes Wasser.

Abtauen des Gerätes

Übermäßige Eisbildung kann sich negativ auf die
Gefrierleistung Ihres Gerätes auswirken.

Daher empfehlen wir Ihnen, das Gerät mindestens
zweimal pro Jahr abzutauen - oder wenn die

Eisschicht eine Stärke von 7 mm überschreitet.
Tauen Sie das Gerät ab, wenn sich keine oder

nur wenige Lebensmittel darin befinden.

Nehmen Sie tiefgefrorene Lebensmittel heraus.
Wickeln Sie das Gefriergut in mehrere Lagen

Papier oder in ein Handtuch ein und lagern Sie
es an einem kühlen Ort.

Um mit dem Abtauen zu beginnen, ziehen Sie
den Netzstecker, schalten das Gerät aus oder
drehen die Sicherung heraus.

Nehmen Sie Zubehörteile (wie Ablagen,
Schubladen, usw.) aus dem Gerät heraus und
fangen Sie das Tauwasser mit einem geeigneten

Behälter auf.

Entfernen Sie Tauwasser (sofern nötig) mit einem
Schwamm odereinem weichen Tuch (Abb. 6).

Lassen Sie die Tür während des Abtauvorgangs
offen stehen.
Wenn Sie den Abtauvorgang beschleunigen
möchten, stellen Sie ein paar Schüsseln mit
warmem Wasser in das Gerät.
Verwenden Sie niemals Elektrogeräte,
Abtausprays oder spitze oder scharfkantige
Gegenstände wie Messer oder Gabeln zum

Entfernen des Eises.

Nach dem Abtauen reinigen Sie den Innenraum
(lesen Sie dazu den Abschnitt „Reinigung und

Pflege“).
Schließen Sie das Gerät wieder an die

Stromversorgung an. Verteilen Sie die gefrorenen

Lebensmittel in den Schubladen und im

Innenraum des Kühlgerätes.

Austausch der

Innenbeleuchtungsglühbirne

(Abb. 4)

Falls die Innenbeleuchtung einmal ausfallen sollte,

gehen Sie wie folgt vor.
1 - Schalten Sie die Mehrfachsteckdose ab
(sofern Sie eine solche verwenden) und ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker.

Um besseren die Glühbirne heranzukommen,

können Sie einige Ablagen herausnehmen.
2 - Nehmen Sie die durchscheinende Abdeckung
mit Hilfe eines Schraubenziehers mit flacher
Spitze ab.
3 - Prüfen Sie erst einmal nach, ob sich die
Glühbirne vielleicht lediglich in der Fassung
gelockert hat: Schrauben Sie sie fest. Stecken
Sie den Stecker wieder ein und schalten Sie das
Gerät an.

Falls die Glühbirne aufleuchtet, setzen Sie die

Abdeckung wieder auf, indem Sie die hintere

Lasche einsetzen, die Abdeckung nach oben

drücken und die beiden vorderen Laschen
einrasten lassen.
4 - Sollte das Licht nicht aufleuchten, schalten
Sie die Stromzufuhr an der Steckdose ab und
ziehen den Netzstecker. Ersetzen Sie die
Glühbirne mit einer maximal 15 Watt starken
Schraubglühbirne (SES).
5 - Werfen Sie die durchgebrannte Glühbirne
sofort weg, geben Sie auf Glassplitter acht.

Ersatzglühbirnen erhalten Sie im
Elektrofachgeschäft oder in Baumärkten.

Reinigung und Pflege

Innen- und Außenflächen

A Achtung

Vor dem Reinigen des Gerätes ziehen Sie
immer den Netzstecker oder schalten die
Sicherung aus.

Reinigen Sie die Außenseite mit lauwarmen

Wasser und einem milden Reinigungsmittel.
Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe Reinigungsmittel,

Scheuermittel oder saure Reiniger.
Wischen Sie den Innenraum trocken.

Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser an die
elektrischen Anschlüsse der
Temperatursteuerung oder der Innenbeleuchtung
gerät.

Falls Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen
sollten, schalten Sie es aus und nehmen sämtliche

Lebensmittel heraus. Reinigen Sie das Gerät und

lassen Sie die Tür offen stehen.

Um das Äußere des Gerätes ansprechend zu
erhalten, können Sie die Außenflächen und das
Tür-Zubehör mit Silikonwachs polieren.

Reinigen Sie den Kondensator an der Rückseite
des Gerätes einmal jährlich mit einer Bürste oder
einem Staubsauger. Staubansammlungen führen
zu höherem Energieverbrauch.

Überprüfen Sie die Türdichtungen in

regelmäßigen Abständen.

Reinigen Sie diese lediglich mit etwas Wasser

und wischen Sie sie danach gründlich trocknen.

Reinigung von Zubehörteilen

Türablagen:

Nehmen Sie sämtliche Nahrungsmittel aus den
Türablagen heraus.

Heben Sie die Abdeckung der Ablage an und
ziehen Sie diese zur Seite weg.

Nehmen Sie den Boden der Ablage heraus,

indem Sie diesen nach oben drücken.
Sammelbehälter (Pfanne):

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Pfanne an der

Rückwand des Gerätes immer sauber ist.

Lösen Sie den Schnappverschluss der Pfanne
vorsichtig vom Kompressor, indem Sie mit einem
Werkzeug (wie einem Schraubenzieher) sanft
dagegen drücken; auf diese Weise können Sie
die Pfanne herausnehmen.

Heben Sie die Pfanne an, reinigen Sie diese und
wischen Sie sie trocken.

Setzen Sie die Teile in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
wieder zusammen.

Gemüsefach oder Schubladen:
Zum Reinigen einer Schublade ziehen Sie diese
so weit wie möglich heraus, kippen sie nach oben

und ziehen sie dann komplett heraus.

Praktische Tipps und Hinweise

Kühlen

• Säubern Sie frische Lebensmittel und Gemüse,
bevor Sie sie in das Gemüsefach legen.

• Bevor Sie Nahrungsmittel in den Kühlschrank
legen, wickeln Sie sie ein oder geben sie in einen
geeigneten Behälter.

• Geben Sie Nahrungsmittel, die sich nicht zur
Lagerung bei niedrigen Temperaturen eignen
(zum Beispiel Ananas, Melonen, Gurken,
Tomaten, usw.), zuvor in Polyethylenbeutel (PE).

• Stark riechende Lebensmittel oder Lebensmittel,
die leicht den Geruch anderer Lebensmittel
annehmen, sollten luft- und geruchsdicht verpackt
werden.

• Bewahren Sie frische Lebensmittel getrennt
von bereits zubereiteten Lebensmitteln auf, damit
sich keine Bakterien ausbreiten können.

• Bewahren Sie frisches Fleisch nicht länger als
zwei bis drei Tage im Kühlschrank auf.

• Holen Sie Reste von Lebensmitteln aus
Konserven aus der Dose heraus und geben Sie
diese in einen geeigneten Behälter.

• Beachten Sie das Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum
auf der Verpackung des Lebensmittels.

• Achten Sie darauf, die Luftzirkulation im
Innenraum des Gerätes nicht zu behindern.

• Bewahren Sie niemals gefährliche oder gar

Gefrieren

• Geben Sie Lebensmittel zum Auftauen in einen

Behälter, aus dem das Tauwasser ablaufen

• Achten Sie beim Einfrieren frischer Lebensmittel

darauf, die maximal zulässige Gefrierkapazität

nicht zu überschreiten (lesen Sie dazu im
Abschnitt „Gefrieren“ nach).

• Geben Sie Kindern keine Eiscreme und kein

Wassereis, das Sie gerade eben dem

Tiefkühlfach entnommen haben.

Die niedrigen Temperaturen können zu

Erfrierungen an den Lippen führen.

• Frieren Sie aufgetaute Lebensmittel nicht wieder

ein; aufgetaute Lebensmittel müssen innerhalb

von 24 Stunden verbraucht werden.
Ausschließlich gekochte Nahrungsmittel dürfen
wieder eingefroren werden.

• Nehmen Sie gefrorene Lebensmittel nicht mit

feuchten Händen heraus.

• Lagern Sie nur frische und einwandfreie

Lebensmittel.

• Verwenden Sie grundsätzlich geeignetes

Verpackungsmaterial, damit Lebensmittel keine

Fremdgerüche annehmen oder verderben.

• Halten Sie sich beim Lagern von

handelsüblichen Tiefkühlspeisen an die Hinweise

auf der Verpackung.

• Frieren Sie zubereitete Nahrungsmittel in kleinen

Mengen ein. Dadurch braucht das Einfrieren nur
wenig Zeit, die Qualität des Lebensmittels bleibt

erhalten.

• Frieren Sie Flüssigkeiten nicht in dicht

verschlossenen Flaschen oder Behältern ein.

Die Flaschen/Behälter können bei niedrigen

Temperaturen platzen.

• Transportieren Sie gefrorene Lebensmittel in

geeigneten Taschen und geben Sie sie so schnell
wie möglich in das Gefrierfach.

Tauen Sie Tiefkühlkost immer im Kühlschrank

Während des Betriebs Ihres Kühlgerätes

können einige Geräusche vom Kühlsystem

erzeugt werden, die völlig normal sind:

• Gurgelnde, zischende oder blubbernde
Geräusche entstehen durch den Umlauf des
Kühlmittels im Kühlsystem. Diese Geräusche
können auch nach dem Stoppen des
Kompressors noch einige Zeit zu hören sein.

• Kurze Knackgeräusche entstehen durch

Ausdehnen und Zusammenziehen der

Innenwände und Fächer innerhalb des
Gehäuses.

Inneren des Kühlschranks nicht berühren und
zu rattern beginnen.

• Summende, pulsierende oder hohe
Summgeräusche werden durch den
Kompressor erzeugt. Diese Geräusche können
beim Anlauf des Kompressors etwas lauter

sein und werden leiser, wenn das Gerät seine

Betriebstemperatur erreicht hat.

• Sämtliche Ablagen und Fächer richtig im
Innenraum des Kühlschranks und der Türen
angebracht sind.

1 - Das Gerät arbeitet nicht, obwohl es eingeschaltet ist.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob der Netzstecker richtig
eingesteckt ist!

• Überprüfen Sie, ob die Stromversorgung

herausgesprungen ist!

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die
Temperatursteuerung richtig eingestellt ist!

2 - Der Strom ist ausgefallen. Ihr Kühlgerät ist für die langfristige Lagerung

handelsüblicher Tiefkühlkost geeignet und
kann auch dazu benutzt werden, frische
Lebensmittel einzufrieren und zu lagern.
Bei einem Stromausfall halten Sie die Tür

geschlossen. Bei einem Gerät wirkt
sich der Stromausfall nicht auf das Tiefkühlfach
aus, sofern die Dauer des Stromausfalls die
auf dem Typenschild angegebene „Haltezeit
nach Ausfall (Stunden)“ nicht überschreitet.

sollten Sie die Lebensmittel überprüfen und
entweder sofort verzehren, oder kochen und

A Mise au rebut

Rendez l’appareil inutilisable immédiatement.

Débranchez la prise d’alimentation et couper le
câble électrique. Retirez ou détruisez les
fermetures à bascule ou à ressort avant de vous
débarrasser de l’appareil. Ceci permet d'éviter
aux enfants de s'enfermer dans l'appareil et de
mettre ainsi leur vie en danger.

Placez l’appareil uniquement dans des endroits

Avant la mise en service

Avant de commencer à faire fonctionner votre
appareil, les points suivants doivent être inspectés
de nouveau par mesure de sécurité :

• L’appareil est-il correctement calé au sol ?

• L’espace est-il suffisant pour permettre une
bonne circulation d’air ?

• L’intérieur est-il propre ? (Référez-vous aussi

à la section “Nettoyage et entretien”)

• Réglez la commande du thermostat à mi-

chemin entre 1 et 5 ou Min. et Max.

• Connectez à présent l’appareil au réseau

électrique.

Le compresseur est mis en marche ; l'éclairage
intérieur s'allume quand la porte est ouverte.

N’introduisez pas les denrées dans le réfrigérateur

avant que la température atteigne le niveau
souhaité.

Réglage de la température

de fonctionnement

La température de fonctionnement est réglée

à l’aide de la commande de température.

La température médiane à l’intérieur du
réfrigérateur doit être proche de +5 °C.

Veuillez choisir le réglage en fonction de la
température désirée.
Vous pouvez éteindre votre appareil en réglant

la commande du thermostat sur la position“0”.

Vous remarquerez qu'il y a plusieurs
températures différentes dans la zone de

réfrigération.
La zone la plus froide est située directement
au-dessous du bac à légumes.

La température intérieure est également
fonction de la température ambiante, la
fréquence d'ouverture de la porte et la quantité

de denrées stockées à l'intérieur.

Si la porte est ouverte fréquemment, la
température intérieure monte.

Pour cette raison, il est recommandé de

refermer la porte aussitôt que possible après

utilisation.

Le compartiment réfrigérateur est destiné

à la conservation à court terme d'aliments
frais et boissons.

Conservez les produits laitiers dans le

compartiment prévu à cet effet dans le

réfrigérateur.

Les bouteilles peuvent être stockées dans le

casier à bouteilles ou dans l’étagére range-

bouteilles de la porte.

La viande crue sera conservée de manière

optimale dans un sac en polyéthylène dans

le compartiment situé tout en bas du
réfrigérateur.

Laisser refroidir les aliments et boissons à la

température ambiante avant de les mettre
dans le réfrigérateur.

Stockez l’alcool à forte concentration debout

et bien fermé uniquement.

Ne conservez pas de substances explosives
ni de récipients à gaz propulseurs
inflammables (crème en bombe, bombes

aérosols etc.) Il y a un risque d’explosion.

Dégivrage de l’appareil

Le compartiment réfrigérateur dégivre
automatiquement. L’eau de dégivrage coule
dans la voie d’écoulement et se déverse dans

le bac de récupération à l'arrière de l'appareil

(Fig. 4).

Pendant le dégivrage, des gouttelettes d'eau
se forment à l'arrière du réfrigérateur à cause
de l'évaporateur.

Si toutes les gouttes ne s’écoulent pas, elles

peuvent geler de nouveau après le dégivrage.

Enlevez-les à l'aide d'un chiffon mouillé à l'eau
tiède, mais jamais au moyen d'un objet dur
ou tranchant.

Vérifiez l'écoulement de l’eau de dégivrage
de temps en temps. L’orifice peut parfois
s’obstruer. Nettoyez-le avec un coton-tige ou
objet similaire (voir la section "Nettoyage et
entretien").

Congélation

Congeler les denrées

Le compartiment de congélation porte le
symbole

Vous pouvez utilisez cet appareil pour congeler

des denrées fraîches ainsi que pour stocker
des denrées surgelées.

Veuillez vous référez aux recommandations

indiquées sur l'emballage de votre aliment.

A Attention

Ne pas congeler de boissons gazeuses car le
liquide congelé peut faire éclater la bouteille.

Soyez prudents avec les produits congelés

tels que les glaçons colorés.

Ne dépassez pas le pouvoir de congélation
de votre appareil par 24 heures. Se référer à
la plaque signalétique.

Afin de préserver la qualité des aliments, la

congélation doit être effectuée le plus
rapidement possible.

Ainsi, le pouvoir de congélation ne sera pas

dépassé et la température à l'intérieur du
congélateur ne montera pas.

A Attention

Conservez toujours les aliments déjà surgelés
séparément des denrées qui viennent d'y être
placées.

Lorsque vous surgelez un aliment chaud, le
compresseur de réfrigération fonctionnera tant
que l'aliment n'est pas complètement congelé.
Cela peut causer un refroidissement excessif

temporaire du compartiment réfrigérateur.

Si vous trouvez que la porte du congélateur
est difficile à ouvrir juste après l'avoir fermée,
ne vous inquiétez pas. Cela est dû à la
différence de pression qui va se régulariser et
permettra d'ouvrir la porte normalement au
bout de quelques minutes.

Vous entendrez un bruit d'aspiration juste

après avoir fermé la porte. Ceci est tout à fait
normal.

Fabrication des glaçons

Remplissez les bacs à glaçons d’eau jusqu’aux
3/4 et introduisez les dans le congélateur.
Dès que l’eau est devenue glace, vous pouvez

sortir les glaçons.

N’utilisez jamais d'objets tranchants tels que
couteaux ou fourchettes pour démouler les

glaçons. Il y a un risque de blessure !

Laisser plutôt les glaçons dégeler légèrement ou
bien mettez le fond du bac dans l'eau chaude
pendant un petit moment.

Dégivrage de l’appareil

La couche excessive de givre diminue l'efficacité

de congélation de votre appareil.

Il est donc recommandé de dégivrer votre appareil
au moins deux fois par an ou lorsque la couche

de givre dépasse 7 mm.

Dégivrez votre appareil quand il est peu garni ou

vide.

Sortez les denrées surgelées. Enveloppez les

denrées surgelées dans plusieurs feuilles de

papiers ou dans une couverture et conservez­les dans un endroit frais.
Débranchez l’appareil ou coupez ou enlevez le

fusible afin de procéder au dégivrage.

Sortez les accessoires (tablette, tiroir, etc.) de
l’appareil et utilisez un récipient approprié pour
récupérer l’eau de dégivrage.

Utilisez une éponge ou un chiffon doux pour

éponger l’eau de dégivrage si besoin (Fig. 6).

Maintenez la porte ouverte pendant le dégivrage.
Pour un dégivrage accéléré, placez des récipients
contenant de l’eau chaude à l’intérieur de
l’appareil.
N’utilisez jamais d'appareils électriques, bombes

de dégivrage ou d’objets tranchants comme des

couteaux ou fourchettes pour enlever la glace.

Une fois le dégivrage terminé, nettoyez l’intérieur
(voir la section “Nettoyage et entretien”).

Rebranchez l’appareil au réseau électrique.
Placez les produits surgelés dans les tiroirs et

dans le congélateur.

Changement de l’ampoule

Si l’ampoule ne fonctionne pas, procédez
comme suit.

1- Déconnectez la prise de courant et débranchez la prise d'alimentation.

Vous pouvez éventuellement retirez les
tablettes pour avoir un accès plus facile.
2- Utilisez un tournevis à tête plate pour retirer

le diffuseur.
3- Vérifiez d’abord que l’ampoule ne soit pas
desserrée en s'assurant qu'elle soit bien vissée
dans son support. Rebranchez la prise et
mettez en marche.
Si l’ampoule fonctionne, replacez le diffuseur
en insérant le tenon arrière et en poussant

vers le haut afin de trouver les deux tenons

avant.

4- Si l’ampoule ne fonctionne toujours pas,

déconnectez la prise de courant et débranchez
la prise d'alimentation. Remplacez l’ampoule
par une nouvelle ampoule de 15 watt (max.)
à pas de vis (SES).
5- Jetez soigneusement l’ampoule grillée
immédiatement.
Les ampoules de remplacement se trouvent

facilement dans les magasins de matériel

électrique ou de bricolage locaux.

Pour préservez l’apparence de votre appareil,
vous pouvez polir l’extérieur et les accessoires
de la porte à l'aide de cire en silicone.

Nettoyez le condenseur à l’arrière de l’appareil
une fois par an à l’aide d’une brosse ou d’un
aspirateur. L'accumulation de poussière
entraîne une plus grande consommation
d'énergie.

Inspectez le joint de porte de temps en temps.

Nettoyez à l’eau uniquement et séchez
complètement.

Nettoyage des accessoires

Balconnets de porte :

Sortez tous les produits des balconnets.
Soulevez le couvercle du balconnet vers le
haut et enlevez-le latéralement.
Retirez le fond du balconnet en le poussant
vers le haut.

Récipient récupérateur (Bac) :

Vérifiez que le bac à l’arrière de l’appareil soit
toujours propre.
Dégagez doucement la fermeture du bac du
compresseur en le poussant au moyen d’un
outil (tel qu’un tournevis), afin que la cuvette
puisse être enlevée.

Soulevez le bac, nettoyez-le et séchez-le à
l’aide d’un chiffon.
Réassemblez selon l’ordre inverse.

Bac à légumes ou Tiroirs :

Pour nettoyez un tiroir, faites le glisser autant
que possible, soulevez-le et retirez-le ensuite
complètement.

Réfrigération

• Nettoyez les produits et légumes frais avant
de les introduire dans le bac à légumes.

• Emballez ou enveloppez toujours les aliments
ou mettez-les dans des récipients appropriés
avant de les placer dans l'appareil.

• Emballez les aliments qui ne se conservent
pas à basse température dans des sacs en
polyéthylène (ananas, melons, concombres,
tomates etc.).

• Les produits à forte odeur ou ayant tendance
à développer une odeur devront être
enveloppés dans un emballage hermétique
ou résistant aux odeurs.

• Séparez les produits frais des aliments
cuisinés afin d'éviter une contamination
microbienne.

• Ne conservez jamais la viande crue au
réfrigérateur plus de 2 ou 3 jours.

• Videz le reste de nourriture de la boîte de
conserve et conservez-le dans un récipient
approprié.

• Référez-vous à la durée de conservation
indiquée sur l’emballage.

• N’obstruez pas la circulation d'air à l’intérieur
de l’appareil en couvrant les clayettes.

• Ne conservez jamais de substances
dangereuses ou toxiques dans votre appareil.

• Inspectez toujours la nourriture qui a été
stockée pendant longtemps pour s’assurer
qu'elle soit comestible.

• Ne conservez pas les produits frais et les
aliments cuisinés ensemble dans le même
récipient.

• Fermez la porte immédiatement après l'avoir
ouverte afin d'éviter une consommation
d'énergie inutile.

• N'utilisez pas d'objets durs ou tranchants
pour enlever la couche de givre.

• N’introduisez pas de denrées chaudes dans
votre appareil.

Congélation

• Laissez toujours les aliments dégeler dans
un récipient qui permettent à l'eau de

décongélation de s'écouler.

• Ne dépassez pas le pouvoir de congélation
maximal admis quand vous congelez des
produits frais (voir la section "Congélation")

• Ne donnez pas de la glace ou bâtonnets glacés

dès leur sortie du congélateur :

La basse température peut provoquer des
brûlures sur les lèvres.

• Ne recongelez jamais de denrées décongelés;
les denrées décongelées doivent être

consommées sous 24 heures. Seuls les aliments
que l’on cuit peuvent ensuite être recongelés.

• Ne sortez pas de produits congelés avec les
mains mouillées.

• Ne stockez que des aliments frais et
impeccables.

• Utilisez toujours des emballages appropriés
pour éviter la pénétration des odeurs ou la

dégradation des aliments.

• Stockez les aliments surgelés dans le

commerce selon les instructions indiquées
sur l'emballage.

• Congelez les aliments cuisines en petites

quantités. Cela assure une congélation rapide
et préserve la qualité des aliments.

• Ne congelez pas de liquide dans des
bouteilles ou récipients très serrés.
Les bouteilles/récipients pourraient éclater à
basse température.

• Transportez les produits surgelés dans des

sacs appropriés et placez-les dans votre
congélateur dès que possible.

Dégeler toujours les aliments dans le

compartiment réfrigérateur.

• Les bruits de gargouillement, sifflement,
ébullition ou bouillonnement sont occasionnés
par le gaz qui circule dans le système
réfrigérant. Ces bruits se font encore entendre
pendant un instant après que le compresseur
se soit éteint.

• Les bruits soudains et aigus de coup ou
bruits secs sont provoqués par l'expansion et
la contraction des parois intérieures ou de
composants à l'intérieur des rangements.

objets environnants ou placards et meubles
de cuisine.

• Les conserves, bouteilles ou plats à l’intérieur

du réfrigérateur n'entrent pas en contact et ne
s'entrechoquent pas.

• Toutes les clayettes et casiers sont installés

correctement dans les rangements et portes
du réfrigérateur.

• Les bruits de bourdonnement, ronronnement,
de vibration ou vrombissement aigu sont
occasionnés par le compresseur. Ces bruits
sont légèrement plus forts au démarrage du
compresseur et s'atténuent lorsque l’appareil
atteint les températures de fonctionnement.

Et si...

1- L’appareil ne fonctionne pas, même s’il

est mis sous tension.

• Vérifiez que la prise d’alimentation soit
branchée correctement !

• Vérifiez que l'alimentation électrique soit en

état de marche, ou si le fusible a été touché!

• Vérifiez si la commande de température est

correctement réglée I

2- Il y a une panne de courant.

En cas de panne de courant, n'ouvrez pas la
porte. Pour un appareil de type N n'y

a pas de risque pour les aliments congelés
dans la mesure où la panne dure moins

longtemps que « l'autonomie de

fonctionnement en cas de panne » (en heures)

indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.
Si la panne est plus longue que « l'autonomie

de fonctionnement en cas de panne » (en

heures), inspectez les denrées et mangez-les
immédiatement ou bien faites-les cuire puis

congelez-les à nouveau.

3- L’éclairage intérieur ne fonctionne pas.

Si le problème persiste, veuillez consulter
votre vendeur ou le service clientèle.

Lors de votre appel, munissez-vous du modèle

et numéro de série de votre appareil. La plaque
signalétique est située à l'intérieur.

Veiligheid is het belangrijkste!

Lees a.U.b. de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig. Deze bevat belangrijke informatie over het
gebruik van uw nieuwe apparaat. Als de instructies niet worden opgevolgd, verliest u mogelijk
uw recht op gratis service tijdens de garantieperiode. Bewaar deze handleiding op een veilige
plaats en geef ze door aan latere gebruikers indien van toepassing.

• Sluit uw apparaat niet op de stroomtoevoer aan totdat aile verpakking en transportbescherming
werden verwijderd.

• Laat het apparaat, als het horizontaal werd vervoerd, minstens 4 uur staan alvorens deze
in werking te stellen, zodat het systeem zieh kan hersteilen.

• Dit apparaat mag enkel worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor het bestemd is, namelijk het
bewaren en invriezen van eetbare levensmiddelen.

• We raden u aan dit apparaat niet te gebruiken in een onverwarmde, koude ruimte zoals bijv.
een garage, serre, bijgebouw, schuur, aanbouw, buiten, enzovoort, zie: 'Locatie'.

• Controleer bij levering dat het product niet beschadigd is en dat alle onderdelen en accessoires
in een perfecte Staat zijn.

• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is. Neem, in geval van twijfel, contact op met
uw dealer.

• Laat kinderen niet speien met het apparaat.

• Ga niet zitten of staan op het apparaat of op de uitstekende delen of laat kinderen hier niet
op zitten of staan.

• Hang niet aan de deur van het apparaat.

• Uw apparaat bevat geen gefluorideerde koelmiddelen (CFC/HFC), maar wel isobutaan

(R 600 a), een aardgas dat erg compatibel is met de omgeving.

(R 600 a) is zeer brandbaar. Zorg er daarom voor dat het koelcircuit niet beschadigd is ofwel

tijdens het transport of tijdens de werking.

In het geval van schade;

• Vermijd open vlammen, bronnen of vonken en brandbare stoffen.

• Verlucht onmiddellijk de kamer waarin het apparaat zieh bevindt.

• De ruimte in de kamer waarin het apparaat geinstalleerd is, mag niet kleiner zijn dan 10
kubieke meter.

• In geval dat het koelmiddel in contact komt met uw ogen kan dit letsel veroorzaken.

• Verbrand uw toestel niet. Het apparaat bevat bestanddelen zonder CFK in de isolatie. Deze
zijn brandbaar.

• Neem contact op met de plaatselijke instanties in uw regio voor informatie over de beschikbare
faciliteiten voor het verwijderen van uw apparaat.

A Waarschuwing - Ventilatieopeningen in de behuizing van het apparaat of in de ingebouwde

structuur niet afdekken.

A Waarschuwing - Gebruik geen andere mechanische apparaten of andere middelen om

het ontdooiingproces te versnellen dan die apparaten of middelen die door de fabrikant worden

• Voor u het apparaat reinigt, verwijder altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact of schakel de
stroombreker uit. Trek nooit aan de elektriciteitskabel. Trek altijd aan de stekker.

• Reparaties aan elektrische apparatuur mögen alleen worden uitgevoerd door een bevoegde
installateur. Als de elektriciteitskabel beschadigd is, moet de fabrikant of de klantendienst deze
vervangen om gevaarte vermijden.

Transport! nstructies

Het toestel mag enkel in staande positie
worden vervoerd.

De oorspronkelijke verpakking moet intact
blijven tijdens het transport.

Na een transport in horizontale positie, mag
het toestel in gebruik worden genomen vier
uur nadat het opnieuw verticaal werd recht
gezet.

Het toestel meet worden beschermd tegen
regen, vochtigheid en andere atmosferische
invioeden.

De fabrikant neemt geen aansprakelijkheid
op zieh als de veiligheidsinstructies niet werden
nageleefd.

AVerwIjderen

Maak het toestel onmiddellijk onbruikbaar.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en knip de
stroomkabel kapot. Verwijder of verniel de
klik- of slotvergrendeling voor u het toestel
weggooit. Op deze manier verhindert u dat
kinderen zichzelf kunnen opsluiten en hun
leven in gevaar kunnen brengen.

Installatle van het apparaat

• Plaats het apparaat niet in een ruimte waar
de temperatuur kan dalen tot minder dan 10°C
's nachts en/of vooral in de winter. Bij lagere
temperaturen zou het apparaat mogelijk niet
kunnen werken. Dit zou de bewaartijd van de
etenswaren verkorten.

• De klimaatklasse van uw apparaat wordt
vermeld op het typeplaatje dat zieh binnen in
het apparaat bevindt. Deze specificeert de
juiste werkingsomgevingstemperatuur zoals
hieronder uitgelegd.

• Zorg bij de plaatsing van het apparaat ervoor
dat de elektriciteitskabel hier niet onder
vastraakt, anders wordt de kabel mogelijk
beschadigd.

• Zorg ervoor dat de stekker eenvoudig
toegankelijk blijft. Gebruik geen meervoudige
adapter of verlengkabel.

• De elektrische specificaties van uw apparaat

eenvoudige aansluiting en afsluiting na de
installatie.

Voor het opstarten

Voor u uw toestel in gebruik neemt, moeten
de volgende punten opnieuw worden
gecontroleerd voor de veiligheid:

• Staat het toestel juist op de grond?

• Is er voldoende ruimte voor een goede

luchtcirculatie?

• Is de binnenkant proper? (Zie ook het deel

Schoonmaak en onderhoud)

• Plaats de thermostaatknop in het midden
tussen 1 en 5 of Min. en Max.

• Plaats nu de stekker van het toestel in het
stopcontact.

De compressor is ingeschakeld, het lampje
binnenin gaat branden als de deur open gaat.

Plaats geen levensmiddelen in de koelkast tot

de temperatuur het gewenste niveau bereikt

heeft.

De werkingstemperatuur
instellen

(Fig. 2)

De werkingstemperatuur wordt geregeld door

de temperatuurknop.

De gemiddelde temperatuur in de koelkast

zou ongeveer +5°C moeten bedragen.

Kies een stand overeenkomstig de gewenste

temperatuur.

U kunt de werking van uw toestel stoppen
door de thermostaatknop in de positie “0” te

zetten.

Merk op dat er in het koelgebied verschillende

temperaturen zijn.

Het koudste gedeelte bevindt zieh onmiddellijk
boven het groentevak.

De binnentemperatuur hangt ook af van de
omgevingstemperatuur, hoe vaak de deur
geopend wordt en de hoeveelheid voedsel die
in de koelkast bewaard wordt.
De deur vaak openen doet de temperatuur in
de koelkast stijgen.
Daarom wordt aanbevolen om de deur zo snel
mogelijk te sluiten na elk gebruik.

Bewaren van voedsel

Het koelkastgedeelte dient voor het bewaren

van vers voedsel en drank.

Bewaar melkproducten in het daartoe
bedoelde vak in de koelkast.

Flessen kunnen in de flessenhouder worden

gezet of in het flessenvak van de deur.

Rauw viees kan het best worden bewaard in

een polyethyleen zak in het vak helemaal
onderaan in de koelkast.

Laat hete voedingswaren en dranken eerst

afkoelen tot kamertemperatuur voor u ze in
de koelkast plaatst.

Bewaar geconcentreerde alcohol enkel
rechtopstaand en goed gesloten.

Ontdooien van het toestel

Het koelkastgedeelte ontdooit automatisch.
Het dooiwater vloeit door de afvoerpijp naar

een verzamelbak aan de achterkant van het
toestel (Afb.4).
Tijdens het ontdooien worden aan de
achterkant van de koelkast waterdruppels
gevormd omwille van de verdamper.
Als deze druppels niet allemaal naar beneden

lopen, kunnen ze mogelijk opnieuw

aanvriezen. Verwijderze na het ontdooien

met een doek die ondergedompeld werd in

warm water en gebruik nooit een hard of een
scherp voorwerp.

Controleer af en toe de stroom van het
dooiwater. Het kan nu en dan verstropt
geräken. Reinig met een q-tip of iets dergelijk

(zie het deel “Schoonmaak en onderhoud”.)

Bewaar geen explosieve bestanddelen of

Containers met ontvlambar drijfgas

(slagroomverdelers, spuitbussen, enz.) in het

toestel. Er is gevaar op explosie.

Diepvriezen

Voedsel invriezen

Het invriesvak is gemarkeerd met dit
symbool.
U kunt het apparaat gebruiken voor het
invriezen van verse voedingswaren evenals

voor het bewaren van diepvriesproducten.

Raadpleeg de aanbevelingen die op de

verpakking van uw voedsel staan vermeld.

2^ Opgepast

Vries geen bruisende dranken in omdat de
fies kan barsten wanneer de vloeistof wordt

bevroren.

Wees voorzichtig met diepvriesproducten zoals

gekleurde ijsblokjes.
Overschrijd de vriescapaciteit van uw toestel
niet binnen een tijdspanne van 24 uur. Zie het

vermogensetiket.
Ten einde de kwaliteit van het voedsel te

behouden, moet het invriezen zo snel mogelijk
gebeuren.
Op die manier zai de invriescapaciteit niet

worden overschreden en zaI de temperatuur

in de diepvriezer niet stijgen.

/K Opgepast

Houd het al diepgevroren voedsel altijd apart

van vers voedsel.

Bij het invriezen van warm voedsel, zai de
koelcompressor werken tot het voedsel volledig
bevroren is. Dit kan tijdelijk leiden tot een
overdreven afkoeling van het koelkastgedeelte.

Wees niet bezorgd als u de deur van de

diepvriezer moeilijk kunt openen net nadat u ze
gesloten hebt. Dit komt door het drukverschil dat

zai worden gelijk gemaakt na enkele minuten
zodat u de deur terug normaal kunt openen.

U zult een vacuümgeluid hören net nadat u de
deur sluit. Dit is normaal.

IJsblokjes maken

Vul de vorm voor 3/4 met water en plaats hem

in de diepvriezer.

Zodra het water bevroren is, kunt u de ijsblokjes
verwijderen.

Gebruik nooit scherpe voorwerpen, zoals
messen en vorken voor het verwijderen van
de ijsblokjes. U kunt zichzelf verwenden!

Laat de ijsblokjes lichtjes ontdooien of plaats
de onderkant van de vorm enkele ogenblikken
in heet water.

Ontdooien van het toestel
Buitensporige ijsafzetting zai de prestaties van

de diepvriezer bemvloeden.
Er wordt daarom aanbevolen dat u het toestel
minstens tweemaal per jaar ontdooit of telkens

wanneer de ijsafzetting meer dan 7 mm

bedraagt.
Ontdooi uw toestel wanneer er slechts weinig
of geen voedsel in zit.

Verwijder het diepvriesvoedsel. Verpak het

diepvriesvoedsel in verschillende lagen papier

of een deken en bewaar op een koude plaats.
Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact of
verwijder de zekering om het ontdooiproces
te beginnen.
Verwijder de accessoires (zoals schappen,

lades, enz.) uit het toestel en gebruik een

geschikte Container om het dooiwater op te
vangen.

Gebruik een spons of een zachte doek om het

dooiwater te verwijderen indien nodig

(Afb. 6).

Houd de deur open tijdens het ontdooien.

Plaats bakken met warm water in de käst om

het ontdooien te versnellen.

Gebruik nooit elektrische apparaten,

ontdooisprays of puntige of scherpe
voorwerpen zoals messen of vorken om het

ijs te verwijderen.
Als het ontdooien klaar is, reinig het toestel

aan de binnenkant, (zie het deel

“Schoonmaken en onderhoud”).

Steek de stekker opnieuw in het stopcontact.

Plaats het diepvriesvoedsel in de lades en in

de diepvriezer.

Het lampje van de
binnenverlichting

vervangen (Afb. 4)

Als het lampje niet werkt, doet u het volgende.
1- De spanning op de wandcontactdoos
uitschakelen en de stekker eruit halen
Mogelijk vindt u het nuttig om schappen te
verwijderen voor een gemakkelijkere toegang.
2 - Gebruik een platte schroevendraaier om
het deksel van de lichtverspreider te
verwijderen.
3- Controleer eerst of het lampje wel vast
geschroefd is. Steek de stekker terug in en
Schäkel aan.
Als het lampje werkt, plaats het deksel terug
door eerst het achterste lipje in te steken en

4 - Wanneer het lampje niet brandt, schakelt
u de wandcontactdoos uit en trekt u de stekker
eruit. Vervang het lampje door een nieuw
(SES) lampje van max 15 watt.
5 - Het kapotte gloeilampje onmiddellijk en
voorzichtig weggooien.
Een vervanglampje kan gemakkelijk worden
verkregen in een goede plaatselijke
elektriciteits- of doe-het-zelf-winkel.

Schoonmaak en onderhoud

Buiten- en binnenoppervlakken

Trek voordat u met schoonmaken begint,
altijd de elektriciteitskabel uit of schakel
de stroombreker uit.

Reinig de buitenkant met lauw water en een
zacht reinigingsmiddel.

Indien het toestel gedurende lange tijd niet zai
worden gebruikt, schakel het uit en verwijder
alle voedingswaren. Reinig het toestel en laat
de deur open staan.

Om het uiterlijk van uw toestel te behouden,
kunt u de buitenkant en de deuraccessoires
laten glanzen met een siliconenwas.

Reinig de condensator aan de achterkant van
het toestel slechts eenmaal per jaar met een
borstel of een stofzuiger. Een stoflaag leidt tot
een verhoogd stroomverbruik.

Inspecteer de pakking van de deur regelmatig.
Reinig enkel met water en wrijf volledig droog.

Reinigen van de accessoires

Deurrekjes:
Verwijder alle voedingswaren uit de deurrekjes.
Til het deksel van het rekje omhoog en trek
het er zijdelings af.
Verwijder de onderkant van het deurrekje door
het naar boven te duwen.

Opvangbak:
Zorg ervoor dat de bak aan de achterkant van
het toestel altijd proper is.
Maak voorzichtig het klepje los van de bak
van de compressor door dit met behulp van
een gereedschap zoals een schroevendraaier
te duwen zodat de bak kan worden verwijderd.
Til het bakje, reinig en wrijf het droog.
Monteer opnieuw in de omgekeerde volgorde.

Groentelade of schuiven:
Om een lade te reinigen, trekt u deze zo ver
mogelijk naar buiten. Vervolgens kantelt u de
lade naar boven en trekt u de lade er helemaal
uit

Gebruik nooit schuurmiddelen of zure
middelen.

Wrijf de binnenkant droog.

Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in contact komt
met de elektrische aansluitingen van de
temperatuurbediening of het binnenlampje.

Praktische tips en opmerkingen

Diepvriezen

Koelen

• Maak verse voedingswaren en groenten
schoon voor U ze in de groentelade plaatst.

• Verpak voedingswaren altijd of plaats ze in
een geschikte doos voor u ze in het toestel
plaatst.

• Plaats voedsel dat niet geschikt is om op
koude temperaturen te worden bewaard in
polyethyleen zakken (ananas, meloenen,
komkommers, tomaten, enz.).

• Voedingswaren met een sterke geur of die
gemakkelijk geuren opnemen, moeten worden
gewikkeld in luchtdicht of geurbestendig
verpakkingsmateriaal.

• Houd verse voedingswaren gescheiden van
bereid voedsel om besmetting met bactérien
te voorkomen.

• Bewaar vers viees nooit langer dan 2 of 3
dagen in de koelkast.

• Verwijder overgebleven voedingswaren in
blik uit het blik en bewaar in een geschikte
doos.

• Controleer de uiterste datum die is
aangegeven op de verpakking van
etenswaren.

• BIokkeer de luchtcirculatie in het toestel niet
door de schappen te bedekken.

• Bewaar nooit gevaarlijke of giftige stoffen in
uw toestel.

• Controleer altijd voedingswaren die
gedurende lange tijd bewaard werden om te
zien of ze nog geschikt zijn voor consumptie.

• Bewaar nooit gekookte en verse
levensmiddelen in dezelfde doos.

• Sluit de deur onmiddellijk na het openen om
een onnodig stroomverbruik te vermijden.

• Gebruik geen harde of scherpe objecten om
de ijsafzetting te verwijderen.

• Plaats geen hete voedingsmiddelen in uw
toestel.

• Laat voedingsmiddelen altijd ontdooien in

een doos waarin het dooiwater kan weglopen.

• Overschrijd nooit de maximum toegelaten

vriescapaciteit bij het invriezen van verse

voedingsmiddelen (zie het deel "Invriezen”)

• Geef kinderen geen ijs en waterijs direct uit de

vriezer.

De läge temperatuur kan de lippen ‘verbranden’.

• Vries ontdooid voedsel nooit opnieuw in,

ontdooid voedsel moet binnen de 24 uur

geconsumeerd worden. Enkel voedsel dat bereid

werd, kan opnieuw worden ingevroren.

• Neem geen diepvriesproducten uit met natte

handen.

• Bewaar enkel verse en onberispelijke

voedingsmiddelen.

• Gebruik altijd het juiste verpakkingsmateriaal

om geurpenetratie of degradatie van

voedingsmiddelen te vermijden.

• Bewaar in de winke! gekochte

diepvriesproducten in overeenstemming met

de instructies op het pak.

• Vries bereide voedingsmiddelen in kleine
hoeveelheden in. Dit zorgt voor snel invriezen

en behoudt de kwaliteit van de
voedingsmiddelen.

• Vries geen vloeistoffen in stevig gesloten

flessen of Containers in.

De flessen/containers kunnen barsten bij läge

temperaturen.

• Draag diepvriesproducten in geschikte

zakken en plaats ze zo snel mogelijk in uw
diepvriezer.

Verschillende functionele geluiden zijn
volledig normaal omwille van de werking
van het koelsysteem van uw toestel:

• Gorgelende, bubbelende, gonzende geluiden
worden veroorzaakt door de koelvloeistof die
circuleert in het koelsysteem. Deze geluiden
kunnen nog een körte tijd na het uitschakelen
van de compressor worden gehoord.

• Plotse, scherp krakende of knallende geluiden
worden veroorzaakt door de expansie en
samentrekking van de binnenwanden of van
sommige componenten in de kästen.

• Zoemende, gonzende, pulserende of
brommende geluiden worden veroorzaakt door
de compressor. Deze geluiden zijn iets luider
bij het inschakelen van de compressor en
nemen af wanneer het toestel de
werkingstemperatuur bereikt.

Wat als...

1- Het toestel niet wil werken, zelfs als het ingeschakeld is.

• Controleer of de stekker goed in het
stopcontact zit!

• Controleer of de netvoeding juist werkt en
of een zekering gesprongen is!

• Controleer de temperatuurregeling voor een
correcte instelling!

2- Er een stroomonderbreking is. Uw diepvriezer is geschikt voor het langdurige

bewaren van gekochte diepvriesproducten en
kan worden gebruikt om verse etenswaren in

te vriezen en te bewaren.

Open de deur niet in geval van stroomstoring.

Voor een gewaardeerd apparaat,
wordt ingevroren voedsel in het invriesvak niet

beinvloed als het defect minder lang duurt
dan de bewaartijd na het “Bewaringstijd in
geval van Defect (uren)”, die vermeld Staat
op het typeplaatje.

Wanneer de stroomstoring langer duurt dan

de “Bewaringstijd in geval van Defect (uren)”
dient het voedsel te worden gecontroleerd en
direct te worden geconsumeerd of te worden
gekookt en vervolgens opnieuw worden
ingevroren.

Als het probleem blijft duren, neem contact
op met uw leverancier of met onze

klantendienst.
Houd het type en serienummer van uw toestel
bij de hand als u belt. Het typeplaatje bevindt

zich binnenin het toestel.

De deuren omkeren

Ga verder in numerieke volgorde (Afb. 7).

3- Het lampje binnenin niet werkt.

Controleer de stroomtoevoer!
Controleer de installatie van de gloeilamp!

Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact voor

4- Andere mogelijk defecten

Niet elk defect is een geval voor onze
klantendienst. U kunt vaak het probleem zelf

zonder hulp van onze dienst oplossen. Voor

u hulp van onze dienst aanvraagt, controleer
of het defect veroorzaakt werd door een

werkingsfout. Indien dit het geval is, en een

dienstverlening werd aangevraagd, wordt een
servicekost aangerekend, zelfs als het toestel
nog onder de garantie valt.

La seguridad es lo primero

Lea el presente manual con detenimiento. En él encontrará información de importancia acerca
del uso de su nuevo electrodoméstico. Si no se atiene a las instrucciones, podría perder el
derecho a reparación gratuita durante el período de garantía. Por favor, guarde este manual
en un lugar seguro y entréguelo a futuros usuarios en caso pertinente.

No conectar el electrodoméstico a la toma de corriente hasta que no se hayan retirado

todos los protectores de embalaje y transporte.

Si se transportó horizontalmente, dejar el aparato en posición vertical al menos 4 horas

antes de conectarlo, para que el sistema se asiente.

Este frigorífico sólo debe utilizarse para su finalidad prevista, es decir, la conservación y

congelación de alimentos.

No es recomendable la utilización de este dispositivo en lugares fríos no calefactados tales

como garajes, invernaderos, cobertizos, cabañas, exteriores, etc. Ver 'Ubicación'.
A la recepción del producto comprobar que éste no se halla dañado y que todas sus piezas
y accesorios se encuentran en perfecto estado.

No poner en funcionamiento un electrodoméstico averiado; en caso de duda consulte a su
proveedor.
No permitir que los niños jueguen con el electrodoméstico.
No sentarse en el electrodoméstico ni subirse a él. No poner a los niños encima del

electrodoméstico o sus partes extraíbles.

No colgarse de la puerta del electrodoméstico.
Su electrodoméstico no contiene refrigerantes a base de flúor (CFC/HCF), sino isobutano

(R 600 a), un gas natural altamente respetuoso con el medio ambiente.
El (R 600 a) es fácilmente inflamable. Por tanto, asegurarse de no dañar el circuito de
refrigeración durante el transporte o el funcionamiento.
En caso de avería:

• Evitar las llamas abiertas, las fuentes de chispas y las sustancias inflamables.

• Ventilar de inmediato la estancia en donde se encuentre el aparato.

• No instalar el electrodoméstico en una estancia de menos de 10 metros cúbicos.

• El refrigerante en contacto con los ojos puede causar lesiones oculares.

• No arrojar el electrodoméstico al fuego. Su aislante contiene sustancias inflamables sin

CFG.

• Por favor, solicite a las autoridades locales información sobre recogida de residuos y centros

de reciclaje disponibles.

• Evitar todo contacto con el alambrado del condensador metálico situado en la parte posterior

del electrodoméstico, ya que existe riesgo de lesiones.

• En caso de posible fallo del aparato, desenchufarlo de inmediato de la toma eléctrica.

• Antes de proceder a su limpieza, desenchufar siempre el electrodoméstico o bien desconectar

el disyuntor. No tirar del cable de alimentación. Desconectar siempre tirando del enchufe.

• Las reparaciones de los equipos eléctricos sólo deben ser realizadas por expertos cualificados.
Si se encuentra dañado el cable de alimentación, el fabricante o el servicio de atención al

cliente deberán sustituirlo para evitar peligros.

Instrucciones de transporte ubicación

El frigorífico sólo se debe transportar en

posición vertical.

El embalaje debe quedar intacto tras el

transporte.

Después de transportarse en posición
horizontal, el frigorífico sólo debe ponerse en
funcionamiento pasadas 4 horas desde que
se haya colocado de nuevo en posición
vertical.

El electrodoméstico debe estar protegido de
la lluvia, la humedad y demás fenómenos
meteorológicos.

El fabricante no asume responsabilidad alguna
en caso de ser ignoradas las instrucciones
sobre seguridad.

A Eliminación

Asegurarse de que el electrodoméstico queda
inutilizado de inmediato. Tirar del enchufe y
cortar el cable de alimentación. Retirar o
inutilizar cerraduras y pestillos antes de
deshacerse del aparato. De esta manera
evitará que los niños se queden encerrados
y pongan en peligro sus vidas.

Ajuste del electrodoméstico

• No instalar el frigorífico en estancias donde
la temperatura pueda descender por debajo
de los 10 °C por la noche y/o especialmente
en invierno. A temperaturas inferiores, es
posible que el aparato no funcione,
reduciéndose el periodo de conservación de
los alimentos.

• La clase climática de su electrodoméstico
se indica en la placa de datos ubicada en su
interior. Se especifican las temperaturas
ambiente de funcionamiento adecuadas,
según se detalla a continuación.

Situar el frigorífico únicamente en estancias
secas y de fácil ventilación.

Evitar la luz solar directa o fuentes de calor

tales como estufas o calentadores.
Si ello no fuera posible, observar las siguientes
distancias mínimas:

Calentadores: 3,00 cm
Aparatos de refrigeración: 2,50 cm

• Asegurarse de que hay suficiente circulación
de aire para su electrodoméstico.

• Comprobar que hay espacio suficiente en
torno al frigorífico para garantizar la circulación
de aire.

• El aparato debería ubicarse sobre una
superficie lisa.

Conexiones eléctricas

A Advertencia

Este electrodoméstico debe conectarse a una
toma de tierra.

• Comprobar que los tipos de corriente y voltaje
locales corresponden a los indicados en la
etiqueta de datos técnicos situada en el interior
del electrodoméstico.

• Sólo se puede garantizar la seguridad
eléctrica del aparato cuando la toma de tierra
de la vivienda se halla instalada en
conformidad con la normativa vigente.

• Instalar el aparato de forma que el cable no
quede atrapado bajo él, ya que podría resultar
dañado.

• Asegurarse de que el enchufe queda en una
posición fácilmente accesible. No utilizar bases
múltiples o cables de extensión.

• Las especificaciones eléctricas del
electrodoméstico se indican en la placa de
datos ubicada en su interior.

• Canalizar el cable de alimentación eléctrica
de forma que se facilite la conexión y
desconexión después de la instalación.

• Si el cable de alimentación no fuera accesible,
deberá utilizarse un separador de contactos
(en modelos integrados).

Antes de empezar

Antes de empezar a utilizar su
electrodoméstico, deben comprobarse
detenidamente los siguientes puntos para su
seguridad:

• Está correctamente colocado el aparato
sobre el suelo?

• Hay suficiente espacio para una buena
circulación de aire?

• Está limpio el interior? Ver también la sección
de “Conservación y limpieza”)

• Ajustar el mando del termostato a una
posición intermedia entre 1 y 5 o entre Min.

Se activará el compresor, y la luz interior se

encenderá al abrirse la puerta.

No colocar alimentos en el frigorífico hasta

que la temperatura haya alcanzado los niveles

Ajuste de la temperatura de
funcionamiento

(Fig. 2)

La temperatura media en el interior del

frigorífico debería ser de unos +5°C.

Por favor seleccione el ajuste en función de
la temperatura deseada.
Puede detener el funcionamiento de su

frigorífico si ajusta el mando del termostato a

la posición “0”.

Por favor, tenga en cuenta que habrá diferentes

temperaturas en el área de refrigeración.

La zona más fría se encuentra situada justo
encima del compartimento de las verduras.

La temperatura interior depende asimismo de
la temperatura ambiente, la frecuencia de
apertura de la puerta y la cantidad de alimentos
almacenados.
Una apertura frecuente de la puerta provoca
una subida de la temperatura del interior.
Por este motivo, se recomienda cerrar la puerta
lo antes posible después de cada uso.

La temperatura de funcionamiento se regula
mediante el mando de control de temperatura.

Refrigeración

Almacenamiento de los alimentos

El compartimento refrigerador está
destinado al almacenamiento de alimentos
frescos y bebidas por un periodo de tiempo

breve.

Almacenar los productos lácteos en el
compartimento destinado a tal efecto.

Las botellas pueden guardarse en el

portabotellas o en el estante para botellas de

la puerta.

La carne cruda se conserva mejor en bolsas
de polietilene dentro del compartimento inferior
del refrigerador.

Dejar enfriar los alimentos y las bebidas
calientes antes de introducirlos en el frigorífico.

A Atención

Guardar alcohol concentrado sólo en posición
vertical y firmemente cerrado.

Deshielo del aparato

El compartimento del frigorífico se deshiela
de manera automática. El agua del deshielo
circula hasta el conducto de desagüe hacia
el recipiente de recogida situado en la parte
trasera del frigorífico (Fig.4).

Durante el deshielo pueden formarse

pequeñas gotas en la parte trasera del
frigorífico a causa de la evaporación.

Si no se eliminan todas las gotas, podrían
congelarse de nuevo. Después del deshielo,
quitarlas con un trapo empapado en agua
caliente, pero nunca con un objeto duro o
afilado.

Comprobar la circulación del agua de deshielo
de vez en cuando, ya que puede estancarse
de manera ocasional. Limpiar el aparato con

un objeto de punta redonda (Ver sección
“Conservación y limpieza”).

A Atención

No guardar sustancias explosivas ni productos

que contengan gases inflamables (botes de

nata a presión, aerosoles, etc.) en el frigorífico.
Existe riesgo de explosión.

Congelación

Congelación de los alimentos

El área de congelación aparece marcada con
el símbolo .

El electrodoméstico puede utilizarse para
congelar alimentos frescos así como para
guardar preparados precongelados.
Por favor, consulte las recomendaciones que

figuran en el envase de los alimentos.

A Atención

No congelar bebidas gaseosas ya que la botella
puede estallar cuando el líquido en su interior se
congele.

Tener cuidado con productos congelados tales

como cubos de hielo de colores.
No superar la cantidad de alimentos que es capaz
de congelare! frigorífico en 24 horas. Consultar
la placa de datos.
Para mantener la calidad de los alimentos, la
congelación de los mismos debe realizarse lo
más rápidamente posible.
De ese manera, no se excederá la capacidad de
congelación y no aumentará la temperatura en
el interior del congelador.

A Atención

Mantener los alimentos ya congelados
separados de los recientes.

Cuando se introduzcan alimentos calientes
en congelador, el compresor de refrigeración
se mantendrá en funcionamiento hasta que
estén completamente congelados. Esto puede
provocar temporalmente un enfriamiento
excesivo del compartimento de refrigeración.

Puede resultar difícil abrir la puerta del
congelador justo después de haberla cerrado.
No se preocupe. Ello es debido a la diferencia
de presión, que se igualará y permitirá la
normal apertura de la puerta en unos minutos.
Oirá un sonido de aspiración nada más cerrar
la puerta. Esto es perfectamente normal.

Cubitos de hielo

Rellenar la cubitera hasta 3/4 de su capacidad

y colocarla en el congelador.

Cuando el agua se haya transformado en
hielo, puede sacar los cubitos.
Nunca utilizar objetos con punta o bordes
afilados, como cuchillos o tenedores, para
retirar el hielo. Hay riesgo de lesiones.

En vez de ello, dejar que los cubitos se derritan
ligeramente, o situar el fondo de la bandeja
en agua caliente durante unos instantes.

Deshielo del rápida

La formación de hielo excesivo afecta a la
capacidad de congelación del frigorífico.
Por lo tanto, se recomienda deshelar su
aparato al menos dos veces al año o cuando
el espesor del hielo supere los 7mm.
Deshelar el electrodoméstico cuando no haya
nada o casi nada de comida en el mismo.

Sacar los alimentos congelados. Envolver los
alimentos congelados en varias capas de
papel, o en una manta y guardarlos en un
lugar frío.
Desenchufar el aparato o desactivar el fusible
para iniciar el proceso de deshielo.
Retirar los accesorios (estantes, cajones, etc.)
del aparato y utilizar un recipiente adecuado
para la recogida del agua de deshielo.

Emplear una esponja o un trapo suave para
eliminar el agua de deshielo en caso necesario
(Fig. 6).
Mantener la puerta abierta durante el deshielo.
Para un deshielo más rápido colocar
recipientes con agua caliente en el interior del
electrodoméstico.
No utilizar nunca aparatos eléctricos, aerosoles
de descongelación u objetos afilados tales
como tenedores o cuchillos para retirar el hielo.

Después de realizar el deshielo, limpiar el
interior (Ver la sección “Conservación y
limpieza”).

Volver a conectar el aparato a la corriente.

Colocar los alimentos congelados en los
cajones y en el interior del congelador.

Sustitución de ia

Si fallara la luz, proceder de la siguiente
manera:

1.- Desconectar el frigorífico retirando para

ello el enchufe de la toma de corriente.

Puede ser útil retirar los estantes para acceder
más fácilmente.

2- Utilizar un destornillador de punta plana

para retirar la tapa del difusor de luz.
3- Comprobar que no se ha aflojado la bombilla

y fijarla firmemente en su soporte. Volver a

colocar el enchufe y encender el frigorífico.
Si la bombilla funciona, volver a colocar la
cubierta insertando la pestaña posterior y
empujando hasta alinear las dos pestañas
anteriores.

4- En caso de fallo de la bombilla, desenchufar

el frigorífico retirando el enchufe de la toma
de corriente. Sustituir la bombilla por una
nueva de 15 vatios (máx.) a rosca (SES).
5- Deshacerse con cuidado de la bombilla
defectuosa.
Se pueden obtener fácilmente bombillas de
repuesto de cualquier buen distribuidor
eléctrico o tienda de bricolaje.

Conservación y limpieza

Si no se va a usar el aparato durante un largo
periodo de tiempo, apagarlo y retirar todos los
alimentos. Limpiar el frigorífico y mantener
la puerta abierta.

Para conservar el buen aspecto de su aparato,
se pueden abrillantar el exterior y los
accesorios de la puerta con una cera a base
de silicona.

Limpiar el condensador en la parte posterior
del frigorífico una vez al año mediante un
cepillo o una aspiradora. La acumulación de
polvo provoca un aumento del consumo
energético.
Verificar las juntas de la puerta a intervalos
regulares de tiempo.
Limpiar únicamente con agua y secar
completamente.

Limpieza de los accesorios

Estantes de la puerta:
Retirar todos los alimentos de los estantes de
la puerta.
Levantar la tapa del estante y retirarla
lateralmente.
Levantar el fondo del estante de la puerta para
retirarlo.

Superficies interiores y exteriores

A Atención

Desconectar el disyuntor o desenchufar el
cable de alimentación siempre antes de
proceder a la limpieza del aparato.

Limpiar el exterior con agua tibia y un
detergente suave.

No emplear productos abrasivos o a base de
agentes ácidos.

Secar con un trapo el compartimento interior.

Poner cuidado en evitar que el agua entre en
contacto con las conexiones eléctricas del
control de temperatura o de la luz interior.

Recipiente de recogida (Molde):
Asegurarse de que el molde en la parte
posterior del aparato está siempre limpio.
Liberar con suavidad el cierre del molde del
compresor mediante una ligera presión,
ayudándose para ello de una herramienta (un
destornillador, por ejemplo), para poder
retirarlo.

Levantar el molde y secarlo con un trapo.
Volver a colocarlo siguiendo los pasos en
orden inverso.

Cajón para frutas y verduras y otros
cajones:
Para limpiar un cajón, tirar de él tanto como
sea posible, inclinarlo hacia arriba y, a
continuación, extraerlo completamente.

Refrigeración

• Lavar los alimentos frescos y las verduras
antes de guardarlos en su compartimento.

• Envolver o empaquetar los alimentos, o
colocarlos en un recipiente adecuado antes
de guardarlos en el frigorífico.

• Envolver los alimentos no aptos para
conservación a bajas temperaturas en bolsas
de polietilene (piñas, melones, pepinos,
tomates, etc.).

• Los alimentos con fuerte olor o susceptibles
de adquirirlo deben ser envasados en
materiales herméticos o a prueba de olores.

• Mantener los alimentos frescos separados
de los cocinados para evitar la contaminación
bacteriana.

• Nunca guardar carne fresca en el frigorífico
durante más de 2 o 3 días.

• Sacar cualquier resto de alimentos en
conserva de su lata y guardarlo en un
recipiente adecuado.

• Consultar la fecha de caducidad indicada
en el envase del alimento.

• No obstruir la circulación de aire en el interior
del aparato tapando los estantes.

• No guardar sustancias peligrosas o
venenosas en el interior del frigorífico.

• Verificar siempre el estado de los alimentos
almacenados durante largos periodos en el
frigorífico.

• No almacenar alimentos frescos y cocinados
en un mismo recipiente.

• Cerrar la puerta inmediatamente después
de abrirla para evitar el consumo innecesario
de energía.

• No utilizar objetos contundentes o afilados
para retirar la formación de hielo.

• No guardar comida caliente en el frigorífico.

Congelación

• Dejar siempre que la comida se descongele
en un recipiente que permita el drenaje del
agua.

• No exceder la capacidad máxima de
congelación permitida cuando congele
alimentos frescos (Ver la sección
“Congelación”).

• No dar a los niños helados o cubitos de hielo
directamente del congelador.

La baja temperatura puede provocar

quemaduras en los labios.

• No volver a congelar alimentos descongelados;
deben consumirse en 24 horas. Únicamente
comida ya cocinada puede volver a congelarse.

• No retirar comida congelada con las manos

húmedas.

• Únicamente guardar alimentos frescos y en

perfecto estado.

• Usar siempre envases adecuados para evitar
la propagación de olores o el deterioro de los

alimentos.

• Los gorgoteos, silbidos, o burbujeos están

una vez se haya detenido el compresor.

pequeñas descargas ocurren a causa de la

más altos cuando se pone en marcha el

Resolución de problemas

1- El aparato no funciona a pesar de estar

encendido.

• Comprobar que la toma de corriente está

correctamente conectada.

• Comprobar si la alimentación eléctrica es

correcta o si existe algún fusible
cortocircuitado.

• Verificar que el control de temperatura está

correctamente ajustado.

2- Hay una interrupción de la corriente eléctrica.

El congelador es adecuado para almacenar

alimentos precongelados durante periodos

prolongados, así como para congelar y

almacenar alimentos frescos.

No abrir la puerta en caso de corte de corriente.

En los aparatos de clase 0S1, los alimentos
congelados depositados en el compartimento
del congelador no se verán afectados en caso
de corte del suministro eléctrico si éste no es
superior al “tiempo de conservación sin
corriente (horas)” mencionado en la placa de
datos.

Si el corte de corriente sobrepasa el tiempo
especificado, entonces se deben comprobar

los alimentos, con el fin de consumirlos

inmediatamente o bien cocinarlos y volver a
congelarlos.

3- La luz interior no funciona.

Comprobar el suministro de corriente eléctrica.
Comprobar la instalación de la bombilla.

Desenchufar la toma de corriente antes de

verificar la bombilla. (Ver también la sección
“Sustitución de la luz interior”

4- Otros posibles fallos de funcionamiento

No todos los fallos de funcionamiento
requieren la intervención de nuestro servicio

técnico. A menudo puede usted resolver el

problema sin recurrir dicho servicio. Antes de

solicitar la intervención de nuestro personal,

por favor compruebe si el fallo ha sido causado
por un manejo inadecuado del aparato. Si es

así, y solicita la intervención, se le cobrará

por la misma, incluso si el electrodoméstico

se halla aún en garantía.
Si el problema persiste, por favor, póngase
en contacto con su distribuidor o su servicio
técnico.

Por favor tenga a mano el tipo y el número
de serie de su aparato antes de llamar. La
etiqueta de datos técnicos se encuentra en
el interior del frigorífico.

Invertir las puertas

Proceda en orden numérico (Fig. 8).

Istruzioni per il trasporto Collocazione

L'elettrodomestico deve essere trasportato
solo in posizione verticale.

A Smaltimento

Rendere immediatamente non utilizzabile

modo si evita che i bambini possano chiudersi

Prima di cominciare ad utilizzare
l'elettrodomestico, controllare di nuovo i
seguenti punti per ragioni di sicurezza:

• L'elettrodomestico è perfettamente diritto sul
pavimento?

• C'è spazio sufficiente per una buona
circolazione deN'aria?

• La parte interna è pulita? (Vedere anche la
sezione "Pulizia e manutenzione")

• Impostare la manopola del termostato a metà
tra 1 e 5 o Min. e Max.

• Ora collegare l'elettrodomestico alla rete.

Il compressore è attivato; la luce interna si

accende quando lo sportello è aperto.

Non mettere alcun alimento aN'interno del
frigorifero fino a che la temperatura non ha
raggiunto il livello desiderato.

Impostazione della temperatura di funzionamento

(Fig. 2)

La temperatura media aN'interno del frigo
dovrebbe essere intorno a +5°C.
Scegliere l'impostazione secondo la
temperatura desiderata. È possibile
interrompere il funzionamento
dell'elettrodomestico regolando la manopola
del termostato sulla posizione "0".

Si noti che ci saranno temperature diverse
nell'area di raffreddamento.
La sezione più fredda è quella immediatamente
sopra lo scomparto per le verdure.

La temperatura interna dipende anche dalla
temperatura ambiente, dalla frequenza con
cui lo sportello viene aperto e dalla quantità
di cibo contenuto aN'interno.
L'apertura frequente dello sportello provoca
un aumento della temperatura interna. Per
questo motivo si consiglia di chiudere lo
sportello subito dopo l'uso, il più velocemente
possibile.

Conservazione alimenti

Lo scomparto frigo serve per la
conservazione a breve termine di cibi freschi
e bevande.

Conservare i prodotti caseari nell'apposito
scomparto del frigorifero.

Le bottiglie possono essere messe nel

portabottiglie o nel ripiano per bottiglie dello
sportello.

La carne cruda viene conservata al meglio in

una busta in polietilene nello scomparto sul
fondo del frigorifero.

Lasciare che i cibi e le bevande calde si

raffreddino fino a temperatura ambiente prima
di metterli nel frigorifero.

A Attenzione

Conservare l'alcol concentrato esclusivamente

in posizione verticale e perfettamente chiuso.

Sbrinamento dell'elettrodomestico

Lo scomparto frigo si sbrina automaticamente.
L'acqua di sbrinamento scorre attraverso il
canale di drenaggio fino a un contenitore di
raccolta sul retro dell'elettrodomestico
(Fig. 4).
Durante lo sbrinamento, si formano goccioline
di acqua sul retro del frigo a causa

dell'evaporatore. Se le gocce non fluiscono
tutte, potrebbero congelarsi di nuovo dopo lo
sbrinamento: rimuoverle con un panno bagnato
con acqua calda, ma mai con un oggetto duro
o tagliente.

Controllare periodicamente il flusso dell'acqua
di sbrinamento. Potrebbe ostruirsi
occasionalmente. Pulire con un q-tip o simili
(vedere la sezione "Pulizia e manutenzione").

A Attenzione

Non conservare sostanze esplosive o

contenitori con gas propellenti infiammabili

(panna in bomboletta, lattine spray, eco.)
nell'elettrodomestico. Pericolo di esplosioni.

Congelamento

Congelamento alimenti

L'area di congelamento è marcata con questo
simbolo

È possibile usare l'elettrodomestico per
congelare cibi freschi ma anche per conservare
cibi pre-congelati.
Vedere i consigli presenti sulle confezioni degli
alimenti.

A Attenzione

Non congelare bibite gassate, poiché il liquido
in congelamento potrebbe far scoppiare la
bottiglia.

Fare attenzione ai prodotti congelati, ad
esempio cubetti di ghiaccio colorati.
Non superare la capacità di congelamento
dell'elettrodomestico in 24 ore.
Vedere l'opuscolo Caratteristiche tecniche.
Per conservare la qualità degli alimenti, il
congelamento deve avvenire quanto più
rapidamente possibile.
In questo modo, non verrà superata la capacità
di congelamento e la temperatura all'Interno
del freezer non aumenterà.

A Attenzione

Mantenere il cibo già surgelato separato dal
cibo appena messo.

Quando si surgela cibo caldo, il compressore
di raffreddamento lavorerà finché il cibo non
é perfettamente congelato. Ciò può
temporaneamente causare un raffreddamento
eccessivo dello scomparto di refrigerazione.

Se lo sportello del freezer si apre con difficoltà
dopo averlo appena chiuso, non c'é da
preoccuparsi. Ciò é dovuto alla differenza di
pressione che si livellerà e consentirà allo
sportello di essere aperto normalmente dopo
pochi minuti.
Si sentirà un rumore a vuoto subito dopo aver
chiuso lo sportello. Ciò é abbastanza normale.

Preparazione dei cubetti di

ghiaccio

Riempire la vaschetta per cubetti di ghiaccio
per 3/4 con acqua e metterla nel freezer.

Quando l'acqua si é trasformata in ghiaccio,
é possibile estrarre i cubetti.

Non usare mai oggetti taglienti come coltelli o

forchette per rimuovere i cubetti. Pericolo di

lesioni!
Lasciare che i cubetti si sciolgano leggermente

o mettere la parte inferiore della vaschetta in
acqua calda per poco tempo.

Sbrinamento dell'elettrodomestico

Una eccessiva formazione di ghiaccio influenza
la prestazione di congelamento

dell'elettrodomestico.
Si consiglia perciò di sbrinare l'elettrodomestico
almeno due volte all'anno o ogniqualvolta le
formazioni di ghiaccio superano i 7 mm.
Sbrinare l'elettrodomestico quando c'é poco
cibo o non ce n'é affatto.

Estrarre gli alimenti surgelati. Avvolgere gli
alimenti surgelati in vari strati di carta o in una
coperta e tenerli in un posto freddo.
Scollegare l'elettrodomestico o chiudere o

rimuovere il fusibile per avviare il processo di
sbrinamento.

Estrarre gli accessori (come ripiani, cassetti,

Ricollegare l'elettrodomestico alla rete. Mettere

Sostituzione delia

lampadina interna (Fig. s)

Se la luce non dovesse funzionare, procedere
come segue.
1- Spegnere la presa di corrente ed estrarre
la spina di rete.
Può rivelarsi utile rimuovere i ripiani per un
accesso più semplice.
2- Utilizzare un cacciavite a punta piatta per
rimuovere il coperchio del diffusore della luce.
3- Come prima cosa controllare che la
lampadina non si sia allentata, assicurandosi
che sia perfettamente avvitata
nell'alloggiamento. Reinserire la spina e
accendere.
Se la lampadina funziona, rimettere a posto il
coperchio della luce, inserendo il capocorda
posteriore e spingendo per posizionare i due
capicorda anteriori.
4- Se la luce ancora non funziona, spegnere
la presa di corrente ed estrarre la spina di rete.

Sostituire la lampadina con una nuova

lampadina con attacco a vite (SES) dal 5 watt
(max).
5- Smaltire immediatamente e con attenzione
le lampadine bruciate.
La lampadina di ricambio può essere facilmente
acquistata presso un buon negozio di
apparecchiature elettriche o un DIY.

Fare attenzione per evitare che l'acqua entri

in contatto con i collegamenti elettrici del
comando della temperatura o con la luce

interna.

Se l'elettrodomestico non viene usato per un

lungo periodo di tempo, spegnerlo e togliere
tutti gli alimenti dal suo interno. Pulire

l'elettrodomestico e tenere lo sportello aperto.

Per conservare l'aspetto esterno
dell'elettrodomestico, è possibile lucidare la

parte esterna e gli accessori dello sportello
con una cera al silicone.

Pulire il condensatore sul retro
dell'elettrodomestico una volta all'anno

utilizzando una spazzola o l'aspirapolvere. La
formazione di polvere porta ad un accresciuto
consumo energetico.

Ispezionare la guarnizione dello sportello ad

intervalli regolari. Pulire solo con acqua e
asciugare completamente.

Pulizia degli accessori

Scomparti della controporta:

Rimuovere tutti gli alimenti dagli scomparti
della controporta. Sollevare il coperchio dello
scomparto e spingerlo lateralmente.

Rimuovere la parte inferiore dello scomparto
della controporta spingendolo verso l'alto.

Raffreddamento

• Pulire i cibi freschi e la verdura prima di
conservarli nello scomparto apposito.

• Confezionare o avvolgere sempre i cibi o
metterli in un contenitore adatto, prima di
conservarli nell'elettrodomestico.

• Avvolgere i cibi che non possono essere
conservati a temperature basse in buste di
polietilene (ananas, meloni, zucchine,
pomodori, ecc.).

• I cibi con un odore forte o che assorbono

facilmente gli odori devono essere avvolti in

materiali ermetici o resistenti agli odori.

• Tenere i cibi freschi separati da quelli cotti,

l'elettrodomestico raggiunge le temperature

Cosa fare, se...

1- L'elettrodomestico non funziona, anche se è acceso.

• Controllare che la spina di rete sia
correttamente collegata!

• Controllare se l'alimentazione di rete è in
ordine o se un fusibile è saltatoi

• Controllare il comando della temperatura per
un'impostazione corretta!

2- C'è una mancanza di alimentazione.

Il freezer è adatto alla conservazione a lungo
termine di cibi congelati disponibili in
commercio e può essere inoltre utilizzato per
congelare e conservare cibi freschi.
Non aprire lo sportello in caso di mancanza
di alimentazione. Per un elettrodomestico con

valori nominali il cibo congelato nel
compartimento freezer non verrà
compromesso se la mancanza di
alimentazione dura meno del "Tempo di
conservazione in caso di guasto (ore)"
menzionato sull'etichetta informativa.
Se la mancanza di alimentazione è superiore
al "Tempo di conservazione in caso di guasto
(ore)", è necessario controllare il cibo e
consumarlo immediatamente o cucinarlo e
congelarlo di nuovo.
