Introduction
The unit is carefully calibrated at the factory. The performance may change over time or due to environmental changes,
and the following recalibration procedures can be used to bring it back to its factory settings.
Calibration Procedure
Follow all steps in the order in which they are presented.
Make sure your K-2 has been powered on for more than 30 minutes, and that it is in a place where the temperature will
not change drastically while performing the calibration.
Set the K-2 controls as shown.

VCO PITCH Calibration
The K-2 has an internal calibration routine to calibrate the pitch of the VCO.
Press and hold “TRIG SW” while powering up to enter the testing mode. (In this mode, the ON LED will blink yellow).
Press and hold “TRIG SW,” and then set the “FILTER1/2” switch. The ON LED will light yellow, indicating that the
VCO calibration has begun.
Wait until the ON LED changes color:
- Green indicates that the calibration was successful.
- Red indicates calibration failure. If this occurs, turn o the power and repeat from Step1.
Restart the unit.
