Diese Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil des Kontaktgrills Pro Multi-Grill 3 in 1 (nachfolgend als Gerät bezeichnet) und gibt Ih-
nen wichtige Hinweise für die Inbetriebnahme, die Sicherheit, den
bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch und die Pege des Gerätes.
Die Bedienungsanleitung muss ständig in der Nähe des Gerätes verfügbar sein. Sie ist von jeder Person zu lesen und anzuwen­den, die mit der Bedienung, Störungsbehebung und/oder Reini­gung des Gerätes beauftragt ist.
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf und geben Sie diese mit dem Gerät an Nachbesitzer weiter.

Dieses Gerät ist vorwiegend für den nicht gewerblichen Gebrauch in geschlossenen Räumen zum Grillen und Braten von Lebens­mitteln bestimmt. Achten Sie bei gewerblicher Nutzung auf eine Änderung der Garantiezeit.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.

Dieses Gerät entspricht den vorgeschriebenen Sicherheitsbestim­mungen. Ein unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann jedoch zu Perso­nen- und Sachschäden führen.
Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise
Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden grundlegenden Sicherheitshinweise sowie die in den einzelnen Kapiteln separat aufgeführten Hinweise:
Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere ■ sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
Entfernen Sie das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise ■ nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern. ■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht für längere Zeit unbeaufsichtigt. ■ Personen, die aufgrund ihrer körperlichen, geistigen oder ■
motorischen Fähigkeiten nicht in der Lage sind, das Gerät sicher zu bedienen, dürfen das Gerät nur unter Aufsicht oder Anweisung durch eine verantwortliche Person benutzen.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät, das Stromkabel, den Netzstecker ■ oder den Thermostat niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssig­keiten.
Ziehen Sie die Anschlussleitung immer am Netzstecker aus ■ der Steckdose, nicht am Stromkabel.
Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fach- ■ händlern oder vom Werkskundendienst durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantiean­spruch.
Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der Garantiezeit darf ■ nur von einem vom Hersteller autorisierten Kundendienst vor­genommen werden, sonst besteht bei Schäden und nachfol­genden Schäden kein Garantieanspruch mehr.

oder Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr!
Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise, um eine Ge­fährdung durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden:
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn das Stromkabel, der ► Netzstecker oder das Gehäuse beschädigt sind.
Öffnen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. ► Werden spannungsführende Anschlüsse berührt und der elektrische und mechanische Aufbau verändert, besteht Stromschlaggefahr.
Verbrennungsgefahr

Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht zum Spielen verwendet ► werden. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Beachten Sie die Hinweise zu den Anforderungen an den ► Aufstellort sowie zum elektrischen Anschluss des Gerätes, um Personen- und Sachschäden zu vermeiden.
Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten gelie­fert:

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und ent­sorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoffe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
HINWEIS
Heben Sie, wenn möglich, die Originalverpackung während ► der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das Gerät im Garantie­fall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können. Transportschä­den führen zum Erlöschen des Garantieanspruchs.
Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene, wärmebeständige und ■
gegen Fettspritzer unempndliche Unterlage. Die Oberächen von Möbeln enthalten möglicherweise ■
Bestandteile, die die Gummifüße des Gerätes angreifen und aufweichen können. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls eine Unterlage unter die Stellfüße des Gerätes.
Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder ■ sehr feuchten Umgebung oder in der Nähe von brennbarem Material auf. Der Abstand zu Wänden, Möbeln und anderen Gegenständen muss mindestens 15 cm betragen.
Wählen Sie den Aufstellort so, dass Kinder nicht an die heißen ■
Oberächen des Gerätes gelangen können.
Die Steckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass die Netz- ■ verbindung schnell getrennt werden kann.

Elektrischer Anschluss
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes sind beim elektrischen Anschluss folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die ■ Anschlussdaten (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typen­schild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten. Im Zweifelsfall fragen Sie Ihren Elektrofachhändler.
Die Steckdose muss mindestens über einen 10A-Sicherungs- ■ schutzschalter abgesichert sein.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Stromkabel unbeschädigt ist ■
und nicht über heiße Oberächen und/oder scharfe Kanten
verlegt wird. Das Stromkabel darf nicht straff gespannt sein, geknickt wer- ■
den oder in Kontakt mit dem heißen Gerät kommen. Verlegen Sie das Stromkabel so, dass keine Stolpergefahr ■
besteht. Soll das Gerät über ein Velängerungskabel angeschlossen ■
werden, muss der Kabelquerschnitt mindestens 1,5 mm²
betragen. Die ■ elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ist nur dann gewähr-
leistet, wenn es an ein vorschriftsmäßig installiertes Schutzlei­tersystem angeschlossen wird. Der Betrieb an einer Steckdo­se ohne Schutzleiter ist verboten. Lassen Sie im Zweifelsfall die Hausinstallation durch eine Elektro-Fachkraft überprüfen. Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Schäden, die durch einen fehlenden oder unterbrochenen Schutzleiter verursacht werden.

Temperaturregler
Zum Einstellen der Temperatur gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

Grillplatten einsetzen/entnehmen
HINWEIS
Achten Sie auf die Kennzeichnung der Grillplatten. Die obe- ► re Grillplatte kann nicht in das Gehäuseunterteil eingesetzt werden und umgekehrt.
Untere Grillplatte einsetzen
Die untere Grillplatte ist mit LOWER gekennzeichnet und hat am hinteren Ende eine Öffnung, um das Fett in die Tropfschale
abießen zu lassen.
Schieben Sie die beiden Rasthaken in die dafür vor­gesehenen Aussparungen an der hinteren Seite des Gehäuseunterteils.
Drücken Sie die Grillplatte nach unten, bis sie deutlich hörbar einrastet.
Untere Grillplatte entnehmen
Drücken Sie die Entriege- lungstaste (16) und entneh­men Sie die Grillplatte.

Obere Grillplatte einsetzen
Die obere Grillplatte ist mit UPPER gekennzeichnet.
Hängen Sie die Grillplatte in die unteren Rasthaken am Gehäuseoberteil ein.
Drücken Sie die Grillplatte wie abgebildet an, bis sie deutlich hörbar einrastet.
WARNUNG Verletzungsgefahr oder mögliche Sachbeschädigung bei
nicht korrekt befestigter Grillplatte!
Eine nicht korrekt befestigte Grillplatte kann beim Auf- oder Zu­schwenken des Deckels herunterfallen und zu Verbrennungen oder Sachbeschädigung führen.
Prüfen Sie den sicheren Sitz der Grillplatte. ►
Obere Grillplatte entnehmen
Drücken Sie die Entriege- lungstaste (14) und entneh­men Sie die Grillplatte.

Tropfschale einsetzen
Schieben Sie die heraus- nehmbare Tropfschale (17) in die rückseitige Öffnung im Gehäuseunterteil, bis sie einrastet.
Abstand einstellen
Der Abstand zwischen den beiden Grillplatten kann in Abhängig­keit der Dicke des Grillgutes über den Abstandshalter eingestellt werden.
Drehen Sie den Drehknopf (4) so, dass der Abstands­halter beim Schließen des Deckels sicher auf der gewünschten Stufe der
Auagestütze (15) liegt.
Deckel umklappen
Das Gerät kann als offener Grill verwendet werden. Dazu muss der Deckel komplett umgeklappt werden. Gehen Sie dazu wie folgt vor:
Ziehen Sie den Entriege- lungshebel (3) und klappen Sie gleichzeitig den Deckel auf, bis er einrastet.
Beim Zuklappen den Hebel (3) ebenfalls entriegeln.

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung des Gerätes.
Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG Beim unsachgemäßen Betrieb des Gerätes können Perso-
nen- und Sachschäden auftreten!
Beachten Sie zusätzlich zu den grundlegenden Sicherheits­hinweisen alle in diesem Kapitel aufgeführten Hinweise, um Gefahren zu vermeiden.
Legen Sie keine brennbaren Stoffe auf die Grillplatten oder ► in die Nähe des Gerätes.
Vor dem Erstgebrauch
Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel ■ Reinigung und Pege beschrieben.
Heizen Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch einmal ca. ■ 10 Minuten auf, um evtl. Montagerückstände (Fette) zu besei­tigen.
Stellen Sie mit dem Temperaturregler (9) die maximale – Temperatur ein.
Drehen Sie den Timer (6) auf Position „I“. – Wenn die Bereitschaftsanzeige (7) leuchtet, drehen Sie –
den Timer (6) auf „10 Minuten“. Nach Ablauf der eingestell­ten Zeit ertönt ein akustisches Signal.
HINWEIS
Beim ersten Betrieb kann sich leichter Rauch entwi- ► ckeln. Dies ist völlig normal. Sorgen Sie für ausreichen­de Belüftung.
Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler (9) auf Position „ ■ ¡“. Lassen Sie das Gerät vollständig abkühlen. ■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel ■ Reinigung und Pege
beschrieben.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Kontaktgrill
Mit dem Kontaktgrill können Sie die unterschiedlichsten Spei- ■ sen zubereiten, z. B. Steaks, Würstchen oder Gemüse.
Der Kontaktgrill ist besonders geeignet für die schnelle und ■ fettarme Zubereitung von Speisen, da von beiden Seiten
gleichzeitig gegrillt wird und durch die gerippten Grillächen

Sandwichpresse
Für Sandwichs können Sie jede Brot- bzw. Toastsorte verwen- ■ den.
Wenn Sie mehrere Sandwichs gleichzeitig zubereiten möch- ■ ten, müssen diese die gleiche Dicke haben, damit ein gleich­mäßiger Kontakt zu den Grillplatten gewährleistet ist.
Um den besonderen Bräunungseffekt zu erreichen, drücken ■ Sie den Griff leicht herunter. Dies verstärkt den Kontakt zu den Grillplatten.
Offener Grill
Mit dem offenen Grill können Sie die Grilläche verdoppeln, ■
damit mehrere Personen gleichzeitig grillen können, z. B. Hamburger, Steaks, Fisch oder Gemüse.
Sie können verschiedene Speisen auf beiden Seiten gleich- ■ zeitig zubereiten, ohne dass sie sich geschmacklich beeinus­sen.
Wenden Sie die Speisen häug für ein gleichmäßiges Garen. ■
Fisch und Fleisch sollte nicht zu oft gewendet werden, da sie austrocknen können.
Die Zubereitung von Geügel mit Knochen empfehlen wir ■
nicht, da es nicht gleichmäßig durchgegart wird.
Grillen mit dem Abstandhalter
Mit dem Abstandhalter können Sie den Abstand zwischen den ■ beiden Grillplatten einstellen. Damit haben Sie die Möglich­keit, Ihre Speisen mit Käse zu überbacken, wie beim Hawaii­Toast.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Abstand dem Grillgut angepasst ■ ist, damit der Käse nicht auf der oberen Grillplatte anhaftet.

Gerät betreiben
Einschalten
Setzen Sie die Tropfschale (17) ein, wie im Kapitel Tropf- schale einsetzen beschrieben.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.
Drehen Sie den Timer (6) auf Position „I“. Die Netzkontrol- le (8) leuchtet.
Stellen Sie mit dem Temperaturregler (9), je nach Speise, die gewünschte Temperatur ein (siehe Kapitel Bedienelemente).
Lassen Sie das Gerät nach dem Einschalten vorheizen. Die Betriebstemperatur wird mit zugeklapptem Deckel (2) in ca. 8 Minuten erreicht.
Wenn die Bereitschaftsanzeige (7) leuchtet, ist die eingestell- te Temperatur erreicht, der Grillvorgang kann beginnen.
HINWEIS
Die Temperatur- und Timereinstellungen können Sie wäh- ► rend des Grillvorganges jederzeit ändern.
Betrieb als Kontaktgrill bzw. Sandwichpresse
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, wie im Kapitel Einschalten beschrieben.

Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Grillplatten weder krat- ► zende Reinigungsmittel noch Metallbürsten, Nylonbürsten oder andere kratzende Gegenstände.
Das Gerät muss nach jedem Gebrauch gereinigt werden. ■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach der Verwendung, sobald es ■
abgekühlt ist. Zu langes Warten erschwert die Reinigung unnötig.
Speisereste, die an den Grillplatten angebacken sind, können ■ ohne entsprechende Reinigung eingebrannt werden.
Grillplatten
HINWEIS
Die Grillplatten sind ► nicht für die Reinigung in der Spül- maschine geeignet.
Entnehmen Sie die Grillplatten wie im Kapitel Grillplatten einsetzen/entnehmen beschrieben.
Wischen Sie die Grillplatten mit einem feuchten Tuch oder Schwamm und etwas Spülmittel ab und mit einem feuchten Tuch ohne Spülmittel nach.

Wir garantieren für die einwandfreie Beschaffenheit dieses Qua­litätsprodukts. Innerhalb der Garantiezeit beheben wir kostenlos alle Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler.
Für dieses Produkt beträgt die Garantiezeit 2 Jahre.
Bei einer gewerblichen oder gleichzustellenden Nutzung, z.B. in Hotels, Pensionen oder Gemeinschaftsanlagen, oder wenn der Kunde kein Verbraucher im Sinne des Bürgerlichen Gesetzbuchs ist, beträgt die Garantiezeit 6 Monate. Der Gewährleistungsaus­schluss bleibt hiervon unberührt.

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging material was chosen in consideration of the aspects of environmental friendliness and disposal technology involved, and thus is recyclable.
Recycling the packaging material for further use allows to save raw materials and reduces the waste generation. When no longer
required, dispose of the packaging materials in accordance with
the local regulations in force.
NOTE
If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty ► period in order to be able to pack the device properly in the event of a warranty claim. Transport damage will lead to a void warranty.
Requirements for the place of use
For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the installa-
tion location has to satisfy the following requirements:
Place the appliance on a level, heat resistant surface that is ■ also resistant to splashing fat.
The surface nishes on furniture may contain constituents ■
that can be detrimental to the rubber feet of the appliance. If necessary, place a mat under the feet of the appliance.
Do not place the appliance in a hot, wet or very humid envi- ■
ronment or in the vicinity of inammable materials. There must
be a gap of at least 15 cm between the appliance and any walls, furniture or other objects.
Because of hot surfaces, the appliance must be placed at a ■ location which is out of the reach of children.
The mains socket must be easily accessible so that the plug ■
can be quickly pulled out in an emergency.

Electrical connection
For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the following instructions have to be observed for the electrical connection:
Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data ■
(voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your
mains power supply. The data have to correspond in order to avoid damage to the appliance. If in doubt, ask your electrical appliance retailer.
The mains socket must be protected by at least a 10 A circuit ■ breaker.
Ensure that the connecting cable is undamaged and is not laid ■ over hot surfaces or sharp edges.
The connecting cable must not be strained, bent or come into ■ contact with the hot appliance.
Place the cable in such a way as to avoid danger from tripping. ■ If the appliance is to be connected to the power supply via an ■
extension lead, the cable cross-section must be at least 1.5 mm².
The ■ electrical safety of the appliance is only assured when it is connected to a properly installed protective earth (PE) conduc­tor system. Connection to a plug socket without PE conductor is forbidden. If in doubt, have the house installation checked by a qualied electrician. The manufacturer assumes no liability for injury or damage caused by a missing or interrupted protective earth conductor.

Inserting/removing grill plates
NOTE
Observe the marking on the grill plates. The upper grill plate ► can not be inserted to the lower housing part or vice versa.
Inserting the lower grill plate
The lower grill plate is marked with LOWER and there is an open-
ing on the rear for fat to ow into the drip tray.
Push both supporting hooks into the appropriate recess­es at the back of the lower part of the housing.
Press the grill plate down until it engages audibly.
Removing the lower grill plate
Press the unlocking but- ton (16) and remove the grill plate.

Inserting the upper grill plate
The upper grill plate is marked with UPPER.
Hang the grill plate onto the lower supporting hook on the upper part of the hous­ing.
Press the grill plate down as illustrated until it engages audibly.
WARNING Danger of injury or possible damage if the grill plate is not
correctly secured!
An incorrectly secured grill plate can fall down when opening or closing the lid which may lead to burning or damage.
Check that the grill plate is securely xed. ►
Removing the upper grill plate
Press the unlocking but- ton (14) and remove the grill plate.

Insert drip tray
Push the removable drip tray (17) into the opening on the back of the lower part of the housing until it engages.
Setting the gap
The gap between both grill plates can be set using the spacer and is dependent on the thickness of the food to be grilled.
Turn the rotary knob (4) so that the spacer sits securely on the desired support (15) when the lid is closed.
Opening the lid
The appliance can be used as an open grill. The lid must be opened back completely for this purpose. Proceed as follows:
Pull the unlocking lever (3) and open the lid at the same until it engages.
When closing, unlock the lever (3) also.

In addition to the fundamental safety precautions, observe all information stated in this section in order to avoid danger.
Do not put any inammable substances onto the grill plates ►
or in the vicinity of the appliance.
Before using for the rst time
Clean the appliance as described in the section Cleaning and ■ maintenance.
Before using the appliance for the rst time, heat it up once ■
for approx. 10 minutes to remove any production residue (grease).
Set the maximum temperature with the thermostat (9). – Turn the timer (6) to the "I" position. – When the standby indicator (7) lights up, turn the timer (6) –
to "10 minutes". After the time has elapsed, an acoustic signal is emitted.
NOTE
The appliance may give off a little smoke when used for ► the rst time. This is completely normal. Ensure suf-
cient ventilation.
Turn the thermostat (9) to the " ■ ¡" position. Allow the appliance to cool down completely. ■ Clean the appliance as described in the section Cleaning and ■
maintenance.

General notes
Before using, rub or brush cold grill plates each time with ■ cooking oil to prevent food from sticking to them.
Food should be at room temperature. ■
Remember that frozen food requires longer to cook and can ■
also dry out.
To achieve the best results, preheat the grill until the required ■
temperature has been reached and the standby lamp (7) lights up.
Carefully monitor grilling and regulate the temperature – if ■ necessary.
Information on the non-stick coating of the grill plates
CAUTION
Damage to the non-stick coating by scratching or over­heating!
The surface of the grill plates has a non-stick coating. Observe the following instructions to avoid damage:
Do not cut any food on the grill plate. ► Use only spoons and spatulas suitable for non-stick sur- ►
faces.
Possibilities for use
Contact grill
You can cook various different foods such as steaks, sausag- ■ es or vegetables using the contact grill.
The contact grill is particularly suitable for quick low-fat prepa- ■ ration of meals since both sides are grilled simultaneously and
the ribbed surface of the grill allows fat to quickly ow into the
drip tray. If you wish to grill different meals at the same time, they must ■
have the same thickness so that contact to the surface of the grill plate remains even.

Sandwich toaster
You can use any sort o bread or toast bread for making sand- ■ wiches.
If you wish to make more than one sandwich at the same ■ time, they must have the same thickness so that contact to the surface of the grill plate remains even.
In order to achieve a particularly good browning effect, lightly ■ push the handle down. This increases the contact with the grill plates.
Open grill
By opening the lid completely you can double the size of the ■ grilling surface therefore enabling several persons to grill
simultaneously, for example, hamburgers, steaks, sh or
vegetables. You can cook different meals on both sides at the same time ■
without them inuencing the taste of each other.
Regularly turn over the food to ensure even cooking. Fish and ■ meat should not be turned over too often as they can dry out.
We do not recommend cooking poultry with bones as this is ■
difcult to do evenly.
Using the spacer
You can set the gap between both of the grill plates with the ■ help of the spacer. You then have the opportunity to gratinate your food with cheese just like Hawaii toast.
Make sure that the gap is adjusted accordingly so that the ■ cheese does not stick to the upper grill plate.

Using the appliance
Switching on
Insert the drip tray (17) as described in the section Inserting the drip tray.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
Turn the timer (6) to the "I" position. The power indicator (8) lights up.
Use the thermostat (9) to set the required temperature for the
food you wish to cook (see section Operating elements).
Allow the appliance to heat up after switching on. The operat- ing temperature is reached in approx. 8 minutes when the lid (2) is closed.
When the standby indicator (7) lights up, the preset tempera- ture has been reached and grilling can start.
NOTE
The temperature and timer settings can be changed at any ► time during grilling.
Using as a contact grill or sandwich toaster
Switch on the device as described in the section Switching on.
Open the lid (2).
Put the food onto the lower grill plate (11).
Close down the lid (2).
Grill the food until it is browned or cooked as desired.

Leftovers that stick to the the grill plates can burn into the ■ coating if not removed correctly

Wipe the grill plates with damp cloth or sponge and a little
washing-up liquid and then with a damp cloth without wash­ing-up liquid.

Housing
Wipe the housing with a damp cloth or sponge.
We recommend using INOX-METAL-POLISH from Beem
for regular maintenance and the removal of difcult stains
from stainless steel surfaces. The polish restores appliances to their original shine. INOX-METAL-POLISH is available in tubes and is suitable for pots as well as for other objects made of stainless steel, chromium, brass, copper, aluminium, silver and also hard plastics. This is a quality product from BEEM and was produced using the
latest manufacturing methods.
We guarantee the perfect condition of this quality product. We will remedy any faults due to material aws or manufacturing faults
free of charge within the warranty period.
The warranty period for this appliance is two years.
For commercial or equivalent use, e.g. in hotels, guest houses or communal premises, or if the customer is not a consumer as
dened by the German Civil Code, the warranty period is 6 months. This does not infringe the warranty disclaimer.
Warranty disclaimer: The warranty does not cover faults caused
in particular by improper use, failure to observe instructions in the user manual and safety precautions, use of force, modica­tions, unauthorised attempted repairs and attempted repairs by
unqualied third parties. Faults caused by normal wear are also
excluded.
If we are obliged by law to provide a warranty, we will comply with such obligation– to the exclusion of the right to cancellation or price reduction – and at our discretion, repair or replace the product free of charge. Should the remedy fail despite several attempts or should the replacement product exhibit faults attrib­utable to us, the customer shall be entitled – at his/her discre­tion – to reduce the purchase price or to cancel the contract of purchase. Elimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil contre les dommages dus au transport. Les matériaux d'emballage sont sélectionnés selon des aspects écologiques et techniques d'élimination, c'est pourquoi ils
sont recyclables.
La remise en circulation de l'emballage dans le circuit de maté­riel économise des matières premières et réduit la production
de déchets. Eliminez les matériaux d'emballage non nécessités
conformément aux directives locales en vigueur.
INDICATION
Si possible, conservez l'emballage original pendant la ► période de garantie de l'appareil an de pouvoir l'emballer
de manière conforme en cas de garantie. Tous dommages
survenus pendant le transport entraînent l'extinction du droit
de garantie.
Conditions requises sur le lieu de montage
An que l'appareil fonctionne de manière sûre et sans défaut, le
lieu de montage doit remplir les conditions préalables suivantes :
Posez l'appareil sur une base plane, résistante à la chaleur et ■
aux éclaboussures de graisse. Les surfaces des meubles peuvent présenter des composants ■
susceptibles d'attaquer les pieds en caoutchouc de l'appareil
et de les ramollir. Le cas échéant, posez un support sous les
pieds de réglage de l'appareil. Ne placez pas l'appareil dans un environnement chaud, humi- ■
de, mouillé ou à proximité de matières inammables. L'espace entre l'appareil et les murs, les meubles ou d'autres objets doit s'élever à au moins 15 cm.
Choisissez le lieu de montage de manière à ce que les en- ■
fants ne puissent pas accéder aux surfaces très chaudes de
l'appareil. La prise doit être facile d'accès an de pouvoir débrancher ■
rapidement l'appareil.

Branchement électrique
An que l'appareil fonctionne de manière sûre et sans défaut, il
convient de respecter les consignes suivantes lors du branche-
ment électrique :
Avant de brancher l'appareil, comparez les données de ■ branchement (tension et fréquence) sur la plaque signalé­tique avec celles de votre réseau électrique. Ces données doivent correspondre an qu’aucun dommage ne survi­enne à l'appareil. En cas de doute, consultez votre vendeur d'appareils électriques.
La prise doit être au moins protégée par l'intermédiaire d'un ■
commutateur de sécurité à fusibles de 10 A.
Assurez-vous que le câble électrique ne soit pas endommagé, ■
ni posé sur des surfaces très chaudes ou des arêtes vives.
Il est interdit de tendre le câble électrique, de le plier ou de le ■ mettre en contact avec l'appareil très chaud.
Posez le câble électrique de manière à ce que personne ne ■ risque de trébucher dessus.
Si l'appareil doit être branché au moyen d'un câble à rallonge, ■ la section de câble doit être d'au moins 1,5 mm².
La ■ sécurité électrique de l'appareil est uniquement garantie lorsque celui-ci est branché à un conducteur de protection ins-
tallé conformément aux directives. Le fonctionnement sur une prise de courant sans conducteur de protection est interdit. En
cas de doute, faites contrôler l'installation domestique par un
électricien. Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité des dommages ent-
raînés par l'absence ou le non-branchement d'un conducteur
de protection.

Mettre en place/retirer les plaques de gril
INDICATION
Observez le repérage des plaques de gril. La plaque de gril ►
supérieure ne peut pas être insérée dans la partie inférieure du boîtier ni vice-versa.
Mettre en place la plaque de gril inférieure
La plaque de gril inférieure est identiée par LOWER et est pourvue à son extrémité arrière d'un orice permettant de faire
écouler la graisse dans le bac égouttoir.
Poussez les deux crochets dans les évidements prévus à cet effet dans la partie arrière de la partie inférieure du boîtier.
Poussez la plaque de gril en bas jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'encliquette audiblement.
Retirer la plaque de gril inférieure
Appuyez sur la touche de déverrouillage (16) et retirez
la plaque de gril.

Mise en place de la plaque de gril supérieure
La plaque de gril supérieure est identiée par UPPER.
Accrochez la plaque de gril
dans les crochets inférieurs de la partie supérieure du boîtier.
Poussez la plaque de gril de la manière indiquée dans l'illustration jusqu'à ce qu'elle s'encliquette audib-
lement.
AVERTISSEMENT Risque de blessure ou éventuels dommages matériels en
cas de xation incorrecte de la plaque de gril!
Une plaque de gril peut tomber dehors en ouvrant ou fermant le couvercle et occasionner des brûlures ou des dommages
matériels.
Vériez l'assise correcte de la plaque de gril. ►
Retirer la plaque de gril supérieure
Appuyez sur la touche de touche de déverrouillage
(14) et retirez la plaque de
gril.

Mise en place du bac égouttoir
Poussez le bac égout- toir amovible (17) dans
l'ouverture arrière dans la partie inférieure de l'appareil jusqu'à ce qu'il s'encliquette.
Régler l'écart
L'écart enre les deux plaques de gril se laisse régler en fonction de l'épaisseur du produit à griller au moyen de l'écarteur.
Tournez le bouton (4) de
sorte que l'écarteur se trouve sûrement sur l'étage
souhaité du support lors de la fermeture du couvercle.
Rabattre le couvercle
L'appareil peut être utilisé comme gril ouvert. Pour ce faire, il faut
rabattre entièrement le couvercle. Veuillez procéder comme suit :
Tirez le levier de déverrouil- lage (3) tout en rabattant le
couvercle en haut jusqu'à ce qu'il s'encliquette.
Déverrouillez également le levier (3) pour refermer le couvercle.

Ce chapitre vous fournit des indications importantes pour
l'utilisation de l'appareil.
Consignes de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT En cas de fonctionnement non-conforme, des dommages
corporels et matériels peuvent se produire.
En plus des consignes de sécurité fondamentales, veuillez
observer toutes les indications gurant dans le présent chapitre pour éviter tous risques.
Ne pas de matières combustibles sur les plaques de gril ou ► à proximité de l'appareil.
Avant la première utilisation
Nettoyez l'appareil de la manière décrite au chapitre ■ Nettoya-
ge et entretien.
Avant la première utilisation, faîtes chauffer l'appareil une fois ■
pendant env. 10 minutes pour éliminer des résidus éventuels du montage (graisses).
Régler la température maximum à l'aide du régulateur de –
température (9). Tourner la minuterie (6) sur la position « I ». –
Lorsque l'indicateur de disponibilité (7) est allumé, tournez – la minuterie (6) sur « 10 minutes ». Après l'écoulement du
temps réglé, un signal sonore retentit.
INDICATION
Lors de la première utilisation, il peut se développer ► un peu de fumée. Ceci est tout à fait normal. Veillez à
ventiler sufsamment.
Tourner le régulateur de température (9) sur la position « ■ ¡ ». Laissez refroidir complètement l'appareil. ■ Nettoyez l'appareil de la manière décrite au chapitre ■ Nettoya-
ge et entretien.

Indications générales
Enduire les plaques de gril froide avec de l'huile alimentaire ■ en frottant ou à l'aide d'un pinceau pour éviter un accrochage des aliments à la plaque de gril.
Les aliments doivent être à température ambiante. ■ Tenez compte du fait que les aliments gelés nécessitent un ■
temps de cuisson plus long et risquent aussi de se dessécher. Pour obtenir des résultats particulièrement bons, préchauffez ■
le gril jusqu'à ce que la température souhaitée soit atteinte et que l'indicateur de disponibilité (7) s'allume.
Suivez attentivement le processus de grillage et réglez la ■ température en cas de besoin.
Indications relatives au revêtement anti-adhérent des plaques de gril
ATTENTION
Endommagement du revêtement anti-adhérent par des
éraures ou une surchauffe !
La surface des plaques de gril est dotée d'un revêtement anti-
adhérent. Pour éviter tout endommagement, veuillez respecter les consignes suivantes :
Ne coupez pas d'aliments sur les plaques de gril. ► Pour retournez des aliments, n'utilisez que des spatules ►
convenant aux d'un revêtement anti-adhérent.

Presse à sandwiches
Pour sandwiches, vous pouvez utiliser chaque sorte de pain ■
ou de toast. Si vous souhaitez préparer plusieurs sandwiches en même ■
temps, ceux-ci doivent avoir la même épaisseur an de garan­tir un contact régulier avec les plaques de gril.
Pour un obtenir un effet de brunissage spécial, poussez la ■ poignée légèrement en bas. Ceci renforce le les plaques de
gril.
Gril ouvert
Avec le gril ouvert, vous pouvez doubler la surface grillage ■ pour permettre à plusieurs personnes de griller en même temps, p.ex. des hamburgers, des steaks, du poisson ou des légumes.
Vous pouvez préparer en même temps des mets différents ■
sans que ceux-ci s'inuencent en matière de goût. Retournez fréquemment les aliments pour assurer une cuis- ■
son régulière. Ne pas retourner trop souvent le poisson ou la viande pour éviter leur dessèchement.
Nous déconseillons de préparer de la volaille avec des os ■
étant donné qu'elle risque de ne pas être cuite régulièrement.
Griller avec l'écarteur
L'écarteur vous permet de régler l'écart entre les deux ■ plaques de gril. Vous avez ainsi la possibilité de faire gratiner
vos mets au fromage comme p.ex. pour le toast Hawaï.
Veillez à ce que l'écart soit bien adapté au produit à griller ■ pour que le fromage ne colle pas sur la plaque de gril supéri-
eure.

Fonctionnement de l'appareil
Mise en marche
Mettre le bac égouttoir en place (17) en procédant de la ma- nière décrite au chapitre Mise en place du bac égouttoir.
Branchez la che réseau dans une prise.
Tourner la minuterie (6) sur la position « I ». Le témoin
secteur (8) s'allume.
Régler la température souhaitée en fonction des aliments à
cuire à l'aide du régulateur de température (9) (cf. chapitre
Eléments de commande).
Après avoir allumé l'appareil, faîtes-le préchauffer. La
température de fonctionnement est atteinte après environ 8 minutes, le couvercle (2) étant fermé.
La température est atteinte lorsque l'indicateur de disponibili- té (7) est allumé. Le processus de grillage peut commencer.
INDICATION
Vous pouvez modier les réglages de la température et de ►
la minuterie à tout moment pendant le processus de grillage.
Fonctionnement en tant que gril de contact et/ou presse à sandwiches
Allumez l'appareil de la manière décrite au chapitre Mise en
marche.
Relevez le couvercle (2).
Mettez les aliments sur la plaque de gril inférieure (11).

ATTENTION
Endommagement du revêtement anti-adhérent par les
éraures !
La surface des plaques de gril est dotée d'un revêtement anti-
adhérent. Pour éviter tout endommagement, veuillez respecter la consigne suivante:
Pour nettoyer les plaques de gríl, n'utilisez aucun détergent ► récurrent ni brosses métalliques en nylon ou autre objet
grattant.
L'appareil doit être nettoyé après chaque utilisation. ■ Nettoyez l'appareil après l'utilisation, dès qu'il est refroidi. Si ■
vous attendez trop longtemps, le nettoyage n'en sera que plus difcile.
Sans nettoyage correspondant, les restes alimentaires ayant ■ été cuits dans les plaques de gril peuvent s'incruster dedans.
Plaques de gril
INDICATION
Ne pas ► nettoyer les plaques de gril au lave-vaisselle.
Retirer les plaques de gril comme décrit au chapitre Mettre
en place/retirer les plaques de gril.
Nettoyez les plaques de gril avec un chiffon ou une éponge
humide avec un peu de détergent et essuyez-les ensuite avec un chiffon humide sans détergent.
INDICATION
Avant de nettoyer les plaques de gril des crasses tena- ► ces, il est recommandé de les tremper.

Nettoyez le boîtier avec un chiffon humide ou une éponge.
Pour l'entretien régulier et pour éliminer des taches tenaces sur les parties en inox, nous vous recommandons d'utiliser l'agent lustrant INOX-METAL-POLISH de Beem. Cet agent lustrant redonne aux appareils leur brillance d'origine. INOX-
METAL-POLISH est disponible en tube et ne convient non seulement pour les casseroles, mais encore pour tous les autres objets en inox, en chrome, en laiton, en cuivre, en
aluminium, en argent et aussi pour tous les plastiques durs.
INOX-METAL-POLISH est aussi utilisé dans les usines pour

Garantie, service après-vente et réparations
Cet appareil est un produit de qualité de BEEM, qui a été fabriqué
selon les méthodes de fabrication les plus récentes.
Nous vous garantissons l'état impeccable de ce produit de quali­té. Au cours de la période de garantie, nous réparerons gratuite­ment tous les vices de matériel ou de fabrication.
La période de garantie pour ce produit est de 2 ans.
En cas d'utilisation professionnelle ou assimilée, par ex. dans les hôtels, les pensions ou les organisations communautaires, ou lorsqu'un client n'est pas un consommateur au sens du Code civil, la période de garantie est 6 mois. L'exclusion de la garantie n'est pas affectée par cette situation.
Exclusion de la garantie : sont notamment exclus de la garan-
tie les défauts résultant d'une manipulation non conforme, du non-respect de la notice d'utilisation ainsi que des consignes de sécurité, tout usage à outrance, toutes modications ou tentati-
ves de réparations personnelles et effectuées par une personne
non qualiée. Il en est de même pour les défauts résultant d'une
usure normale.
Si notre obligation de garantie résulte des dispositions légales, nous opterons soit pour une réparation gratuite ou un remplace­ment gratuit, le droit de conversion ou de minoration étant alors exclu dans un tel cas. Si, malgré plusieurs tentatives, la répara-
tion échoue ou si l'objet remplacé est entaché d'un défaut dont nous avons à répondre, le client est alors en droit d'opter pour
une minoration du prix ou pour une annulation du contrat. Le fait de recourir à la garantie ne saurait entraîner une prolongation de cette dernière. Dans un premier temps, le commerçant auprès
