Anforderungen an den Aufstellort
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feste, ■
trockene, ebene, wasserfeste und hitzebeständige Unterlage.
Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in einer ■
heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten
Umgebung auf.
Die Steckdose muss leicht zugäng- ■
lich sein, so dass die Netzverbindung
schnell getrennt werden kann.
Die Oberächen von Möbeln enthalten ■
möglicherweise Bestandteile, die die
Gummifüße des Gerätes angreifen
und aufweichen können. Legen Sie
gegebenenfalls eine Unterlage unter
die Stellfüße des Gerätes.
Halten Sie genügend Abstand um das ■
Gerät herum, damit die Luft zirkulieren
kann.
Wählen Sie den Aufstellort so, dass ■
Kinder nicht an die heißen Oberächen
des Gerätes gelangen können.
Elektrischer Anschluss
Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes sind beim elektrischen
Anschluss folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschlie- ■
ßen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten
(Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem
Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am
Gerät auftreten. Im Zweifelsfall fragen
Sie Ihren Elektrofachhändler.
Die Steckdose muss mindestens über ■
einen 10A-Sicherungsautomaten abgesichert sein.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die An- ■
schlussleitung unbeschädigt ist und
nicht über scharfe Kanten verlegt wird.
Die Anschlussleitung darf nicht straff ■
gespannt sein, geknickt werden oder
in Kontakt mit heißen Oberächen
kommen.
Wickeln Sie die Netzleitung immer voll- ■
ständig ab, bevor Sie das Gerät an die
Steckdose anschließen.
Verlegen Sie die Anschlussleitung so, ■
dass keine Stolpergefahr besteht.
Die elektrische Sicherheit des Gerätes ■
ist nur dann gewährleistet, wenn es
an ein vorschriftsmäßig installiertes
Schutzleitersystem angeschlossen
wird. Der Betrieb an einer Steckdose
ohne Schutzleiter ist verboten. Lassen
Sie im Zweifelsfall die Hausinstallation
durch eine Elektro-Fachkraft überprüfen. Der Hersteller übernimmt keine
Verantwortung für Schäden, die durch
einen fehlenden oder unterbrochenen
Schutzleiter verursacht werden.

BIO-LON® KERAMIK
Die Heizplatten sind mit einer weißen Keramik Antihaftbeschichtung versehen, sie
ist PTFE- und PFOA-frei. Sie verhindert
das Anhaften. Zudem verfügt sie über Eigenschaften wie Kratzfestigkeit, einfache
Reinigung, Beständigkeit gegenüber hohen
Temperaturen und Umweltfreundlichkeit.
Inbetriebnahme
Auspacken
Entnehmen Sie das Gerät, alle Zube-
hörteile und die Bedienungsanleitung
aus dem Karton.
Entfernen Sie vor dem Erstgebrauch
alle Verpackungsmaterialien und
Schutzfolien vom Gerät und den Zubehörteilen.
HINWEIS
Entfernen Sie nicht das Typenschild ►
und eventuelle Warnhinweise.
Heben Sie wenn möglich die Origi- ►
nalverpackung während der Garantiezeit des Gerätes auf, um das
Gerät im Garantiefall ordnungsgemäß verpacken zu können. Transportschäden führen zum Erlöschen
des Gewährleistungs- bzw. Garantieanspruchs.
Lieferumfang prüfen
Prüfen Sie den Inhalt auf Vollständig-
keit und auf sichtbare Schäden.
Melden Sie eine unvollständige oder
beschädigte Lieferung umgehend Ihrem Lieferanten.
Bedienung und Betrieb
Deckel öffnen/schließen
Zum Öffnen des Deckels klappen Sie
die Deckelverriegelung (5) nach vorne
und heben den Deckel (6) an.
Zum Schließen des Deckels drücken
Sie langsam den Deckel (6) nach unten und klappen Sie die Deckelverriegelung (5) herunter.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
Wischen Sie die Heizplatten (7 und 8)
mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
Ölen Sie die Heizplatten leicht mit
Panzenöl ein und klappen Sie den
Deckel nach unten.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine
Steckdose. Die rote Netzkontrollleuchte (2) leuchtet und das Gerät beginnt
mit dem Aufheizvorgang. Dies kann
einige Minuten dauern.
HINWEIS
Beim Neugerät kann es durch evtl. ►
Montagerückstände (Fette) zu leichter Rauchentwicklung kommen. Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung.
Warten Sie, bis die grüne Temperatur-
kontrollleuchte (3) leuchtet.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät
vollkommen abkühlen.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät und das Zu-
behör, wie im Kapitel Reinigung und
Pege (S. 10) beschrieben.
Gerät ein-/ausschalten
Das Gerät verfügt über keinen Ein-/Ausschalter. Das Gerät ist in Betrieb, wenn
der Netzstecker eingesteckt ist.
Gerät verwenden
Um mit dem Gerät Sandwiches herzustellen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
Klappen Sie den Deckel (6) nach
unten.
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine
Steckdose. Die rote Netzkontrollleuchte (2) leuchtet und das Gerät beginnt
mit dem Aufheizvorgang. Dies kann
einige Minuten dauern.
HINWEIS
Bereiten Sie in der Zwischenzeit Ihre ►
Sandwiches vor und belegen Sie
diese nach Ihrem Geschmack, z. B.
mit Salami und Käse.
Verwenden Sie nicht zu viel Käse. ►
Der geschmolzene Käse kann seitlich am Sandwich herausquellen.
Warten Sie, bis die grüne Temperatur-
kontrollleuchte (3) leuchtet.
Öffnen Sie den Deckel (6) des Gerä-
tes und legen Sie die vorbereiteten
Sandwiches auf die untere Heizplatte.
Drücken Sie langsam den Deckel (6)
nach unten und klappen Sie die Deckelverriegelung (5) herunter.
Prüfen Sie zwischenzeitlich den Bräu-
nungsgrad der Sandwiches, indem
Sie den Deckel (6) kurz öffnen. Je
nach Belag dauert die Zubereitung
zwischen 4 und 6 Minuten.

Öffnen Sie den Deckel (6) und ent-
nehmen Sie die fertigen Sandwiches
mit einem Holz- oder hitzebeständigen Kunststoffspatel.
HINWEIS
Wenn Sie weitere Sandwiches zube- ►
reiten möchten, warten Sie, bis die
grüne Temperaturkontrollleuchte (3)
leuchtet. Das Gerät hat dann die
beste Temperatur.
Nach dem Gebrauch
Reinigen Sie das Gerät und die ver-
wendeten Zubehörteile, wie im Kapitel
Reinigung und Pege (S. 10) be-
schrieben.
Reinigung und Pege
Beachten Sie vor Beginn der Arbeiten die
Sicherheitshinweise im Kapitel Sicherheit
(S 5)!
Das Gerät muss nach jedem Gebrauch ■
gereinigt werden.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät nach der Ver- ■
wendung, sobald es abgekühlt ist. Zu
langes Warten erschwert die Reinigung unnötig.
Speisereste, die an den Heizplatten ■
angebacken sind, können ohne entsprechende Reinigung einbrennen.
Gerät reinigen
Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose.
Lassen Sie das Gerät vollkommen
abkühlen.
Wischen Sie die Heizplatten mit ei-
nem feuchten Tuch oder Schwamm
und etwas Spülmittel ab und mit einem feuchten Tuch ohne Spülmittel
nach.
Wischen Sie das Gehäuse des Ge-
rätes (1) außen und innen mit einem
leicht feuchten Tuch ab.
Trocknen Sie alle Geräteteile nach
der Reinigung gut ab.
HINWEIS
Verwenden Sie keine scharfen ►
Gegenstände oder Haushaltsreiniger
zur Reinigung des Gerätes.
Lagerung
Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht
benötigen, reinigen Sie es, wie im Kapitel
Reinigung und Pege (S. 10) beschrie-
ben.
Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen, sauberen und frostfreien Ort auf,
an dem es vor direktem Sonnenlicht geschützt ist.

Requirements for the place of use
For safe and trouble-free operation of the
appliance, the place of operation must satisfy the following requirements:

cessible and allow fast disconnection

ance so that air can circulate freely.
Select a location that does not allow ■

Electrical connection
For safe and trouble-free operation of the
appliance, the following instructions must
be observed for the electrical connection:

and frequency) on the rating plate with
those of your mains power supply. The
data must correspond in order to avoid

BIO-LON® CERAMIC
The hotplates have a ceramic non-stick
coating, which is PTFE and PFOA free. It
prevents from sticking. It is also resistant
to scratching, high temperatures, can be
cleaned easily and is environment friendly.
Unpacking
Remove the appliance, all accessory

Before using for the rst time
Wipe the hotplates (7 and 8) with a
damp cloth.
Lightly oil the hotplates with vegetable
oil and fold the lid down.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
The red power indicator (2) lights up
and the appliance starts heating. This
can take a few minutes.
NOTE
Due to production residue (grease), ►
it is possible that a new appliance
may smoke lightly. Ensure sufcient
ventilation.
Wait until the green temperature indi-
cator (3) lights up.
Pull the plug out of the mains socket
and allow the appliance to cool down
completely.
Clean the appliance and the accesso-
ries as described in the Cleaning and
care section (page 20).
Switching the appliance ON/OFF
The appliance is not equipped with an on/
off switch. The appliance is in operation
when the mains plug is plugged in.
Using the appliance
To make sandwiches with the appliance,
proceed as follows:
Fold the lid (6) downwards.
Insert the plug into a mains socket.
The red power indicator (2) lights up
and the appliance starts heating. This
can take a few minutes.
NOTE
In the mean time, prepare your sand- ►
wiches and then ll to taste, e. g.,
with salami and cheese.
Do not use too much cheese. Melted ►
cheese can ooze out of the sides of
the sandwiches.
Wait until the green temperature indi-
cator (3) lights up.
Open the lid (6) of the appliance and
lay the prepared sandwiches onto the
lower hotplate.
Slowly press the lid (6) downwards
and fold down the lid locking latch (5).
Check the browning of the sandwich
intermittently by briey opening the lid
(6). Depending on the lling, this will
take between 4 and 6 minutes.

ished sandwiches with a wooden or
heat-proof spatula.
NOTE
If you wish to prepare further sand- ►

Allow the appliance to cool down com-
pletely.
Wipe the hotplates with damp cloth or
sponge and a little washing-up liquid
and then with a damp cloth without
washing-up liquid.
Wipe the outside and inside of the
housing of the appliance (1) with a
lightly damp cloth.
Dry all parts of the appliance thor-
oughly after cleaning.

Do not use sharp objects or house- ►
hold cleaners to clean the appliance.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance
for a longer period of time, clean it as described in the Cleaning and care section
(page 20).
Store the appliance at a dry, clean and
frost-free place which is protected against

Avant la première utilisation
Nettoyez les plaques chauffantes (7 et
8) avec un chiffon humide.
Graisser les plaques chauffantes lé-
gèrement avec de l'huile végétale et
rabattez le couvercle en bas.
Branchez la che secteur dans une
prise. Le voyant de contrôle rouge
(2) s'allume et l'appareil commence à
chauffer. Ceci peut prendre quelques
minutes.
REMARQUE
Sur les appareils neufs, il peut se ►
produire un peu de fumée suite à
d'éventuels résidus de montage
(graisse). Veillez à ventiler sufsamment.
Attendez jusqu'à ce que le voyant de
contrôle (3) s'allume.
Débranchez la che secteur de la
prise et laissez complètement refroidir
l'appareil.
Nettoyer l'appareil et les accessoires
comme décrit au chapitre Nettoyage
et entretien (p. 30).
Allumage/extinction de l'appareil
L'appareil ne possède pas d'interrupteur
Marche/Arrêt. L'appareil fonctionne dès
que la che secteur est branchée.
Utilisation de l'appareil
Pour réaliser des croque-monsieur avec
cet appareil, procédez comme suit :
Rabattez le couvercle (6) vers le bas.

Ouvrez le couvercle (6) de l'appareil
et placez les croque-monsieur préparés sur la plaque chauffante inférieure.
Abaissez lentement le couvercle (6) et
rabattez le verrouillage du couvercle
(5).
Vous pouvez vérier l'aspect doré du
croque-monsieur en ouvrant brièvement le couvercle (6). Selon sa garniture, la cuisson peut prendre entre 4
et 6 minutes.

Ouvrez le couvercle (6) et retirez les
croque-monsieur prêts à l'aide d'une
spatule en bois ou en plastique résistant à la chaleur.

Après utilisation
Nettoyez l'appareil et les accessoires
utilisés comme décrit au chapitre Net-
toyage et entretien (p. 30).
Nettoyage et entretien
Avant de commencer les travaux, observez les consignes de sécurité du chapitre
Sécurité (voir page 25).
L'appareil doit être nettoyé après cha- ■
que utilisation.
Nettoyez l'appareil après l'utilisation, ■
dès qu'il a refroidi. Si vous attendez
trop longtemps, le nettoyage n'en sera
que plus difcile.
Sans nettoyage approprié, les restes ■
alimentaires ayant été cuits sur les plaques chauffantes peuvent s'incruster.
Nettoyage de l'appareil
Arrêtez l'appareil et débranchez la
che de la prise.
Laissez l'appareil refroidir complète-
ment.
Nettoyez les plaques chauffantes
avec un chiffon ou une éponge humide avec un peu de détergent et
essuyez-les ensuite avec un chiffon
humide sans détergent.
Essuyez l'intérieur et l'extérieur du
boîtier de l'appareil (1) à l'aide d'un
chiffon humide.
Séchez soigneusement toutes les
parties de l'appareil après les avoir
nettoyées.
REMARQUE
N'utilisez pas d'objets tranchants ou ►
de produits de nettoyage domestiques pour nettoyer l'appareil.
Rangement
Si vous prévoyez ne pas utiliser l'appareil
pendant une durée prolongée, nettoyez
l'appareil comme décrit au chapitre Net-
toyage et entretien (p. 30).
Rangez l'appareil dans un endroit sec,
propre et à l'abri du gel, où il ne sera pas
exposé directement aux rayons du soleil.

Requisitos para el lugar de
colocación
A n de que el aparato funcione de forma
segura y sin problemas, debe colocarse
en un lugar que cumpla con los siguientes
requisitos:
Coloque el aparato sobre una super- ■
cie rme, seca, plana, impermeable y
resistente al calor.
No coloque el aparato en lugares ■
calientes, mojados o demasiado húmedos.
La toma de corriente debe encontrarse ■
en un lugar de fácil acceso y que permita separar rápidamente el aparato
de la red eléctrica.
En algunos casos, la supercie de los ■
muebles contiene compuestos que
pueden agredir o ablandar los pies de
goma del aparato. Si fuera necesario,
coloque una base debajo de los pies
del aparato.
Deje distancia suciente alrededor ■
del aparato para que pueda circular el
aire.
A la hora de elegir el lugar de coloca- ■
ción del aparato, procure que los niños
no puedan alcanzar las supercies
calientes del aparato.
Conexión eléctrica
Para que el aparato funcione de forma
segura y sin problemas, deben respetarse
las siguientes indicaciones en relación a la
instalación eléctrica:
Antes de conectar el aparato, compare ■
los datos de conexión (tensión y frecuencia) de la placa de características
con los de la red eléctrica. Para que el
aparato no resulte dañado, ambos datos deben coincidir. En caso de duda,
consulte a un técnico electricista.
La toma de corriente debe estar pro- ■
tegida como mínimo por medio de un
interruptor automático de 10 A.
Asegúrese de que el cable de co- ■
nexión esté en perfecto estado y de
que no quede colocado sobre bordes
cortantes.
La línea de conexión no debe tenderse ■
tirante o doblarse ni entrar en contacto
con supercies calientes.
Antes de conectar el aparato a la toma ■
de corriente, desenrolle completamente el cable de alimentación.
Coloque el cable de conexión de for- ■
ma que nadie pueda tropezar.

Las placas calefactoras están provistas de
un revestimiento antiadherente cerámico
que no contiene PTFE ni PFOA. Su función
consiste en evitar la adhesión. Además,
también tiene otras muchas cualidades,
como resistencia a los arañazos, facilidad
de limpieza, resistencia a las altas temperaturas y cuidado del medio ambiente.
Puesta en marcha
Desembalaje
Extraiga de la caja el aparato, todos los
accesorios y el manual de instrucciones.
Antes de utilizar el aparato por prime-
ra vez retire todos los materiales de
embalaje y todos los plásticos de protección del aparato y los accesorios.
INDICACIÓN
No quite la placa de característi- ►
cas ni las advertencias que pueda
contener.
Siempre que le sea posible, guarde ►
el embalaje original durante todo
el plazo de garantía para poderlo
embalar correctamente en caso de
aplicación de la garantía. Los daños
de transporte provocarán la anulación de los derechos de garantía.
Comprobar el suministro
Compruebe que el contenido esté
completo y que no presente daños
visibles.
Si el volumen de suministro está in-
completo o en mal estado, informe
inmediatamente al proveedor.
Operación y funcionamiento
Abrir y cerrar la tapa
Para abrir la tapa, abra el cierre (5)
hacia delante y, acto seguido, levante
la tapa (6).
Para cerrar la tapa, baje lentamente la
tapa (6) y luego baje el cierre (5).

Antes de utilizar el aparato por
primera vez
Limpie las placas calefactoras (7 y 8)
con un paño ligeramente húmedo.
Aplique un poco de aceite vegetal a
las placas calefactoras y luego baje
la tapa.
Enchufe la clavija de red a la toma
de corriente. El indicador de corriente
rojo (2) se ilumina y el aparato empieza a calentarse. Esto podría durar
algunos minutos.
INDICACIÓN
Es posible que salga un poco de ►
humo de los aparatos nuevos debido
a los residuos de montaje (grasas).
Asegúrese de que haya suciente
ventilación.
Espere hasta que se encienda el indi-
cador de temperatura verde (3).
Desenchufe la clavija de red de la
toma de corriente y deje que el aparato se enfríe completamente.
Limpie el aparato y los accesorios de
acuerdo con las instrucciones del capítulo
Limpieza y cuidados (pág. 40).
Encendido y apagado del aparato
El aparato no tiene ningún interruptor de
encendido y apagado. El aparato se pone
en marcha cuando se conecta la clavija
de red.
Uso del aparato
Para preparar sándwiches, proceda de la
siguiente manera:
Baje la tapa (6).
Enchufe la clavija de red a la toma
de corriente. El indicador de corriente
rojo (2) se ilumina y el aparato empieza a calentarse. Esto podría durar
algunos minutos.
INDICACIÓN
Mientras tanto, prepare las reba- ►
nadas de sándwich y ponga los
ingredientes a su gusto (p.ej. jamón
y queso).
No utilice demasiado queso. El que- ►
so fundido podría salir por los lados
del sándwich.
Espere hasta que se encienda el indi-
cador de temperatura verde (3).
Abra la tapa (6) del aparato y coloque
los sándwiches que ha preparado en
la placa calefactora inferior.
Baje lentamente la tapa (6) y luego
baje el cierre (5).
Para comprobar el nivel de tueste de
los sándwiches, abra ligeramente la
tapa (6). Dependiendo de los ingredientes, la preparación puede tardar
de 4 a 6 minutos.

Abra la tapa (6) y extraiga los sánd-
wiches preparados utilizando una
espátula de madera o de plástico resistente al calor.
INDICACIÓN
Para preparar más sándwiches, ►
espere a que vuelva a encenderse el
indicador de temperatura verde (3).
En ese momento, la temperatura del
aparato es óptima.
Después de utilizar
Limpie el aparato y los accesorios
utilizados de acuerdo con las instrucciones del capítulo Limpieza y cuida-
dos (pág. 40).
Limpieza y cuidado
Antes de comenzar con las tareas, observe las indicaciones de seguridad en el
capítulo seguridad (pág. 35).
El aparato debe limpiarse siempre ■
después de terminar de utilizarlo.
Limpie el aparato cuando termine de ■
utilizarlo y se haya enfriado. Esperar
demasiado sólo dicultará la limpieza
de forma innecesaria.
Si no se limpian correctamente, los ■
restos de alimentos adheridos a las
placas de calefacción podrían quemarse y dejar marcas.
Limpiar el aparato
Apague el aparato y desenchufe la
clavija de red de la toma de corriente.
Deje que el aparato se enfríe comple-
tamente.
Frote las placas calefactoras con un
paño o una esponja húmedos y un
poco de detergente y, acto seguido,
quite el jabón con un paño sin detergente.
Limpie el interior y el exterior de la
carcasa del aparato (1) con un paño
ligeramente humedecido.
Seque bien todas las piezas del apa-
rato después de limpiarlas.
INDICACIÓN
No utilice objetos alados ni pro- ►
ductos de limpieza domésticos para
limpiar el aparato.
Almacenamiento
Si no tiene previsto utilizar el aparato durante un periodo prolongado, límpielo de
acuerdo con las instrucciones del capítulo
Limpieza y cuidados (pág. 40).
Guarde el aparato en un lugar limpio y
protegido contra el frío y contra la luz directa del sol.

Eisen aan de opstellingsplek
Voor een veilige en probleemloze werking
van het apparaat moet de opstellingsplek
aan de volgende eisen voldoen:
Plaats het apparaat op een stevig, ■
droog, vlak, water- en hittebestendig
werkblad.
Plaats het apparaat niet in een hete, ■
natte of zeer vochtige omgeving.
Het stopcontact moet goed toegan- ■
kelijk zijn, zodat de spanningstoevoer
snel onderbroken kan worden.
De oppervlakken van meubelen bevat- ■
ten mogelijk stoffen die de rubberen
pootjes van het apparaat kunnen aantasten en week maken. Leg indien nodig een onderlegger onder de voetjes
van het apparaat.
Houd rond het apparaat voldoende ■
ruimte vrij, zodat de lucht vrij kan circuleren.
Kies de opstellingsplek zodanig dat ■
kinderen niet bij de hete oppervlakken
van het apparaat kunnen komen.
Elektrische aansluiting
Voor een veilige en probleemloze werking
van het apparaat moeten bij de elektrische
aansluiting de volgende instructies in acht
worden genomen:
Vergelijk vóór het aansluiten van het ■
apparaat de aansluitgegevens (spanning en frequentie) op het typeplaatje
met die van uw stroomvoorziening.
Deze gegevens moeten met elkaar in
overeenstemming zijn, zodat er geen
schade aan het apparaat kan optreden. Raadpleeg in geval van twijfel uw
dealer.
Het stopcontact moet ten minste met ■
een 10A-zekering zijn beveiligd.
Verzeker u ervan dat de aansluitkabel ■
onbeschadigd is en niet over scherpe
randen gelegd is.
De aansluitkabel mag niet strak ge- ■
spannen zijn, geknikt worden of in aanraking komen met hete oppervlakken.
Wikkel de voedingskabel altijd hele- ■
maal af voordat u het apparaat op het
stopcontact aansluit.
Leg de voedingskabel zodanig dat er ■
geen gevaar voor struikelen heerst.
De elektrische veiligheid van het ap- ■
paraat is alleen gewaarborgd, wanneer
het op een correct geïnstalleerd randaardesysteem wordt aangesloten. De
werking aan een stopcontact zonder
randaarde is verboden. Laat in geval
van twijfel de installatie van het huis
door een elektricien controleren. De
fabrikant aanvaardt geen verantwoordelijkheid voor schade die door een
ontbrekende of onderbroken randaarde wordt veroorzaakt.

BIO-LON® KERAMIEK
De verwarmingsplaten zijn voorzien van
een witte keramische anti-aanhechtlaag.
Deze is PTFE- en PFOA-vrij. Zij verhindert
het aanhechten. Bovendien beschikt zij
over eigenschappen als krasbestendigheid,
eenvoudige reiniging, hoge temperatuurbestendigheid en milieuvriendelijkheid.
Inbedrijfstelling
Uitpakken
Haal het apparaat, alle accessoires en
de gebruiksaanwijzing uit de doos.
Verwijder vóór het eerste gebruik al
het verpakkingsmateriaal en de beschermfolies van het apparaat en de
accessoires.
OPMERKING
Verwijder het typeplaatje en eventu- ►
ele waarschuwingen niet.
Bewaar indien mogelijk de originele ►
verpakking gedurende de garantieperiode van het apparaat om het in
geval van een garantieclaim correct
te kunnen verpakken. In geval van
transportschade vervalt de garantie.
Leveringsomvang controleren
Controleer de inhoud op volledigheid
en op zichtbare schade.
Meld een onvolledige of beschadigde
levering onmiddellijk aan uw leverancier.
Bediening en werking
Deksel openen/sluiten
Om het deksel te openen, klapt u de
dekselvergrendeling (5) naar voren en
tilt u het deksel (6) omhoog.
Om het deksel te sluiten drukt u het
deksel (6) langzaam omlaag en klapt
u de dekselvergrendeling (5) omlaag.

Vóór het eerste gebruik
Veeg de bakplaten (7 en 8) met een
vochtige doek af.
Smeer de bakplaten iets met plantaar-
dige olie in en klap het deksel omlaag.
Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.
Het rode controlelampje voor de netvoeding (2) brandt en het apparaat
begint op te warmen. Dat kan een
paar minuten duren.
OPMERKING
Bij een nieuw apparaat kan er door ►
eventuele montagerestanten (vetten)
iets rookvorming optreden. Zorg voor
voldoende ventilatie.
Wacht tot het groene temperatuur
controlelampje (3) brandt.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en
laat het apparaat helemaal afkoelen.
Reinig het apparaat en de accessoi-
res zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk
Reiniging en verzorging. (pag. 50).
Apparaat in-/uitschakelen
Het apparaat beschikt niet over een aan-/
uitschakelaar. Het apparaat is in bedrijf,
wanneer de netstekker ingeplugd is.
Apparaat gebruiken
Om met het apparaat tosti's te maken,
gaat u als volgt te werk:
Klep het deksel (6) omlaag.
Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.
Het rode controlelampje voor de netvoeding (2) brandt en het apparaat
begint op te warmen. Dat kan een
paar minuten duren.
OPMERKING
Bereid in de tussentijd uw tosti's voor ►
en beleg deze naar eigen smaak,
bijv. met salami en kaas.
Gebruik niet teveel kaas. De gesmol- ►
ten kaas kan zijdelings uit de tosti
lopen.
Wacht tot het groene temperatuur
controlelampje (3) brandt.
Open het deksel (6) van het apparaat
en leg de voorbereide sanwiches /
tosti's op de onderste verwarmingsplaat.
Druk het deksel (6) langzaam omlaag
en klap de dekselvergrendeling (5)
omlaag.
Controleer tussendoor de bruinings-
graad van de tosti door het deksel (6)
kort te openen. Afhankelijk van het
beleg duurt de bereiding tussen 4 en
6 minuten.

Open het deksel (6) en verwijder de
bereide tosti's met een houten of hittebestendige kunststof spatel.
OPMERKING
Wanneer u nog meer tosti´s wilt ►
maken, wacht u tot het groene temperatuurindicatielampje (3) brandt.
Het apparaat heeft dan de beste
temperatuur.
Na gebruik
Reinig het apparaat en de gebruikte
accessoires zoals beschreven in het
hoofdstuk Reiniging en verzorging
(pag. 50).
Reiniging en verzorging
Neem vóór het begin van de werkzaamheden de veiligheidsinstructies in het
hoofdstuk Veiligheid (pag. 45) in acht!
Het apparaat moet na ieder gebruik ■
worden gereinigd
Reinig het apparaat na gebruik zodra ■
het is afgekoeld. Door te lang te wachten wordt het reinigen lastiger.
Voedingsrestanten die aan de bakpla- ■
ten zijn aangebakken kunnen zonder
voldoende reiniging inbranden.
Apparaat reinigen
Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de
stekker uit het stopcontact.
Laat het apparaat volledig afkoelen.
Veeg de bakplaten met een vochtige
doek of spons en iets afwasmiddel af
en vervolgens nog een keer zonder
afwasmiddel.
Neem de behuizing van het apparaat
(1) aan de binnen- en buitenkant met
een licht vochtige doek af.
Droog alle apparaatonderdelen na de
reiniging goed af.
OPMERKING
Gebruik voor het reinigen van het ►
apparaat geen scherpe voorwerpen
of huishoudelijke schoonmaakmiddelen.
Opslag
Wanneer u het apparaat gedurende een
langere periode niet nodig heeft, moet het
zoals beschreven in het hoofdstuk Rei-
niging en verzorging (pag. 50) worden
gereinigd.
Bewaar het apparaat op een droge, schone en vorstvrije plek, waar het beschermd
is tegen direct zonlicht.
