Follow these instructions carefully to ensure correct fitment and operation.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Remove the oxygen sensors using a 22mm
wrench. Then take off the header flange nuts at the collector and disconnect the air tube from the H-Pipe. (In some instances cutting 1-2
inches in front of the factory clamp for the air pump tube on the H-Pipe may be
Disconnect the mufflers from the mid-pipe. Lubricate the H-Pipe hangers with WD-40 or equivalent and slide back to remove.
For installation simply reverse the previous steps, making sure to reconnect the air tube to the connector tube located on the new mid-pipe (Used supplied hose and clamps if cutting was required).
NOTE!!! Be sure to add a small amount of anti-seize to the top thread of each oxygen sensor using the supplied anti-seize packet. As you thread the oxygen sensor back into the part the anti-seize will spread evenly throughout the threads. NOTE!!! Do not plug off the air line from the air pump. Air pump damage and premature catalytic converter damage will occur.
Using the supplied muffler style clamp, install over the mid-pipe crossover tube and tighten to avoid any leaks. This part can also be welded to avoid any exhaust leaks
