The Harbormaster Telescope
The HARBORMASTER Telescope is packed in four groups:
1. Telescope
2. Cradle
3. Base
4. legs
In addition, you will find the connecting hardware: 2 cradle screws (25) 3 leg bolts (26) 3 leg nuts (5)
First attach the legs to base using 3 leg bolts 26 and 3 leg nuts 5. Then line up parts 11, 22, 17, and 8 as shown.
Set cradle on top of base, and thread bolt into cradle. Bolt 11 should be secured tight. A 1/2 inch socket wrench is needed for this operation. A drop of adhesive on the thread of the screw 11 will prevent loosening.

WARRANTY/REPAIR
Set cradle in horizontal position and lock. Set telescope in cradle with the threaded holes up and insert cradle screws 25. A drop of oil will assure smooth motion of the Telescope during use. Vertical motion movement is controlled by slightly loosening or tightening the lock nuts.

CLEANING AND CARE OF THE BRASS
Do not use polish or use abrasives on the brass parts. Simply wipe the moistened cloth and dry.
TRIPOD
The wooden legs can be waxed with furniture wax or polish with same care given to furniture.
LENSES
If ever necessary to clean, wipe using only a water­dampened soft cloth, free of abrasives of commercial cleaners that could scratch or etch the glass.
TELESCOPE LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
Your telescope is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. The Lifetime Limited Warranty is an expression of our confidence in the materials and mechanical workmanship of our products and is your assurance of a lifetime of dependable service.
If your telescope contains electrical components the electronic components are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the date of purchase.
In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided that you return the product postage prepaid. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or improper handling, installation or maintenance of the product.
1) A check in the amount of $15.00 to cover the cost of handling

3) An explanation of the defect
4) Product should be well packed in a sturdy outside shipping carton
