This instruction manual contains information about installation, operation and
maintenance of the appliance and constitutes an important source of information
and reference guide. The knowledge of all operational and safety instructions
included in this manual is a prerequisite for safe and proper handling of the
appliance. Additionally, accident prevention, occupational health and safety, and
legal regulations in force in the area the appliance is used apply.
Before you start using the appliance, especially before turning it on, read this
instruction manual in order to avoid personal injuries and property damages.

1 Safety
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with technical standards
currently in force. However, the appliance may be a source of hazards if used
improperly or contrary to its intended purpose. All persons using the appliance must
consider information included in this instruction manual and observe safety
instructions.

1.2Safety instructions
Electrical current
• Too high a mains voltage or incorrect installation may cause electric shock.
• The appliance may be connected only if data on the rating plate correspond with
the mains voltage.
• To avoid short-circuit, the appliance should be kept dry.
• If there are malfunctions during operation, disconnect the appliance from the
power supply.
• Do not touch the appliance’s plug with wet hands.
• Never take hold of the appliance if it has fallen into water. Immediately
disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
• Any repairs or housing opening may be carried out by professionals and
relevant workshops only.
• Do not transport the appliance, holding it by the power cord.

Flammable materials
• Never subject the appliance to contact with high temperature sources, e.g.:

• Do not cover the appliance with, e.g., aluminium foil or cloths.
• Use the appliance only with materials designated to this end and with correct
temperature settings. Materials, groceries and left-overs remaining in the
appliance may catch fire.
• Never use the appliance near flammable or inflammable materials, e.g.: petrol,
spirit, alcohol, etc. High temperature triggers evaporation of these materials,
and, as a result of contact with sources of ignition, an explosion may occur.
• In case of fire, disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
attempting suitable fire-extinguishing actions.
• Never attempt to extinguish fire with water if the appliance is connected to the
power supply. Following extinction of fire, ensure sufficient fresh air inflow.
Hot surfaces
• Surfaces of the appliance become hot during operation. Burning hazard! High
temperature remains for some time after switching the appliance off.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces of the appliance. Use the provided handling
elements and holders.
• You may transport and clean the appliance after it cools down entirely.
• It is prohibited to sprinkle hot surfaces with cold water or flammable liquids.
Operating personnel
• The appliance may only be operated by qualified personnel and trained
specialist personnel.
• This appliance may not be operated by persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, nor by persons with limited experience
and/or limited knowledge.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with or
switching on the appliance.
Improper use

2.1Liability and warranty
All information and instructions in this instruction manual account for legal
regulations in force, current level of technical engineering knowledge as well as our
expertise and experience, developed over the years. If special models or additional
options are ordered, or state-of-the-art technical solutions were implemented, the
actual scope of delivery of the appliance may, in some circumstances, differ from
descriptions and numerous drawings in this instruction manual.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages nor faults stemming from:
– failure to observe instructions,
– unintended use,
– technical alterations introduced by the user,
– usage of unapproved spare parts.
We reserve the right to introduce technical modifications to the product, intended for
improvement of the appliance and its performance.

Transport, packaging and storage

3 Transport, packaging and storage
3.1Delivery check
Immediately upon reception, check the delivery for completeness and possible
shipping damage. In the case of visible transport damage refuse to accept the
appliance or accept it conditionally. Mark and note the scope of damage in shipping
documents/consignment list of the shipping company and lodge a complaint.
Concealed damage must be reported immediately upon its discovery, as
compensation claims may only be filed within applicable time limits.
If you find that parts or accessories missing, please contact our Customer Service
Department.
3.2 Packaging
Do not dispose of the appliance cardboard box. It may be used to store the
appliance when relocating or when shipping the appliance to our service point in the
case of any damages.
The packaging and its elements are made of recyclable materials. Particularly,
these are: plastic films and bags, cardboard box.
When disposing of the packaging, observe applicable domestic regulations.
Recyclable packaging materials should be recycled.
3.3 Storage
Leave the packaging closed until installation of the appliance; observe external
indications concerning method of placing and storage. Store the packaging in the
following conditions only:
– in closed rooms;
– in dry and dust-free surrounding;
– away from aggressive agents;
– in a location protected against sunlight;
– in a location protected against mechanical shocks.
In the case of extended storage (over three months), make sure you check the
condition of the packaging and the parts regularly. If needed, replace the packaging
with a new one.

5 Installation and operation
5.1Installation
Unpacking / Positioning
• Unpack the appliance, remove all external and internal packaging elements and
shipment safeguards.
• If the appliance is covered with a protective film, remove it. Remove the film
slowly, so no glue residues are left. Remove any glue residues with the use of a
suitable solvent.
• Be careful not to damage the rating plate and warning labels fixed on the
appliance.
• Never place the appliance in humid or wet environment.
• Place the appliance in a way making the connections easily accessible, so that
they may be quickly disconnected if such a need arises.
• The appliance should be placed on surfaces that are:
– even, with sufficient bearing capacity, resistant to water, dry and resistant
to high temperatures;
– sufficiently large, and thus enabling usage of the appliance with no
problems;
– easily accessible;
– well ventilated.
• Maintain sufficient clearance from table edges. The appliance might turn over
and fall down.

WARNING!
Risk of burns!
The appliance housing and the lid heat up considerably during
operation.
Do not touch hot surfaces.
Use designated operating elements and handles only to operate the
appliance.

Hot steam is released while opening the lid during the operation, and
hot condensate accumulates under the lid.
Use oven mitts for removing the lid.
Power supply connection
• Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the
local electric power grid specification.
• Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with
protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket.
• The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it
or tripping against it.
• Do not use the appliance with an external timer or remote control.

2. Fill the appliance with water before use, paying
attention to the 'MIN' mark on the basin back wall.
When the water level is below the “MIN” mark, the
sensors installed below detect it and the appliance
does not start. The digital display shows E001 error
message.
3. Always fill the appliance with water above the
“MIN” mark.

Preparation of the appliance
1. Before operating the appliance clean it according to the instructions in section 6
'Cleaning'.
4. Connect the appliance to a single mains socket with protective contact.
5. Start the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF key (1, Fig. 3).
The 'click' sound is heard. The digital display shows the current water temperature
in the basin.

Press and hold the key for 1 second to turn the appliance on.
The LED indicator comes on and indicates that the appliance is connected
to the power supply.

When pressed, the key starts and stops thermal processing.
Settings
Temperature
The default temperature is 60 °C. Temperature may be set in the range from 25 °C
to 90 °C.
1. Press the temperature setting key (10) once, to set the desired temperature.
The blinking default temperature appears in the upper part of the digital display.
When the temperature indicator blinks, press the '-' (8) or '+' (9) keys, to allow for
decreasing or increasing the preset value.
Pressing and holding the key during the first 2 °C allows for setting with 0.1 °C
increments, and then with 1.0 °C increments.
2. Press 'Save' key (4) and hold it for 6 seconds to save the set temperature.
NOTE!
The appliance is set for temperature measurement in °C (Celsius) by
default.
To switch it to °F (Fahrenheit) press the temperature setting key (10) until
the digital display shows °F.
Cooking Time
It is preset to 02:00 hours by default. It is possible to set the cooking time in the
range of 0 minutes – 99 hours.
1. Press the time setting key (7), to set the desired time of thermal processing.
In the lower part of the digital display a default time of 02:00 hours will be shown
and will blink. When the cooking time indicator blinks, '-' (8) or '+' (9) keys allow for
decreasing or increasing the preset value.
Below are the following intervals of setting the cooking time:
– 0–0.30 h in 1-minute intervals;
– 0.30–3 h in 10-minute intervals;

– 3–99 h in 30-minute intervals.
2. Press 'Save' key (4) and hold it for 6 seconds to save the set cooking time.
When the set cooking time elapses the appliance turns off and after 5 seconds the
digital display returns to the temperature indicator.
When the appliance is switching off, the digital display counts down 10 seconds
before complete switch-off.
Programs
It is possible to set up to 5 programs (M1–M5).
The desired program should be set the following way:
1. Press 'M' program key (2) once.
The M1 LED indicator light comes on.
2. Now, select free program for inputting data.
3. After selecting the free program, press 'Save' key (4).
Note: to select another free program and input data press 'M' program key (2),
and depending on free program observe:
M2 – program 2 — 2 times
M3 – program 3 — 3 times
M4 – program 4 — 4 times
M5 – program 5 — 5 times
In case of accidental pressing of 'M' (2) program key six times, the LED indicator
lights will go off. To return to data entering press 'M' program key again.
4. To input data into the individual free programs, press 'M' program key (2) again
to save the required temperature and cooking settings in program M1.
The M1 LED indicator light comes on.
5. Press the temperature setting key (10).
The temperature indicator blinks.
6. When the temperature indicator blinks, '-' (8) or '+' (9) keys allow for setting the
desired temperature in the range from 25 °C to 90 °C.
7. To end with, press 'Save' key (4).
The LED indicator light for M1 program is on and the cooking time may be set.
8. Press the time setting key (7).
The cooking time indicator blinks and the desired cooking time may be decreased
or increased with use of '-' (8) or '+' (9) keys.

10. After setting of M1 program, press 'M' program key (2) twice to select free M2
program and input data for it.
Setting of all subsequent programs should be executed in the same way as for M1
program.
Cooking Food
1. After entering the required temperature and time settings, press Start/Stop key
(11) to heat water in the basin, to reach the preset temperature.
2. In order to use of previously set programs, press 'M' (2) program key depending
on the program to be used (e.g., three times for M3 program).
3. Then press Start/Stop key (11) to heat water in the basin, to reach the preset
temperature.
When the appliance starts heating the acoustic signal is generated.
After reaching the preset temperature, 3 - 5 acoustic signals are generated.
The time indicator blinks.

4. Using the handle, carefully remove the lid.
5. Place frame in the holder and insert the
prepared vacuum packed food products
into the frame.
6. Using the handles, put the frame with
holder and food products in the heated
water in the basin bottom.
7. Larger portions of food products in vacuum
bags should be put directly into the basin
next to the frame (Fig. to the left).

ATTENTION!
Always make sure that vacuum bags in the basin are fully immersed in
water. Otherwise use pliers to press them down.
8. Put the lid back on the basin.
9. Press Start/Stop key (11).
The cooking process starts and will be executed according to the entered settings.
The cooking time is counted down.
10. To read the remaining time during cooking, press the time setting key (7).
The cooking time is shown in the lower part of the digital display.
When the cooking time elapses, the acoustic signal is generated.
11. Using the holder or pliers, carefully remove the lid and take the prepared food
products out of the basin.

Further Setting Indications
• In the case of manual setting of the cooking process (without selecting any of
the saved M1–M5 programs), the temperature and cooking time may be
changed at any time during the cooking process. Follow the indications in
sections 'Settings' / 'Temperature' and 'Cooking time'.
• Setting of the cooking time is NECESSARY for execution of the cooking
process. With 00:00 hours setting the cooking process lasts without time
limitation until it is interrupted or stopped by pressing Start/Stop key (11).
• In order to interrupt the power supply and switch the appliance off, press the
time setting key (7) and hold it for 1 second.
• Unless specified otherwise, each key must be pressed and held for more than
0.5 second to be successfully operated.
• When the water level in the basin is above the 'MIN' mark and the digital display
shows E001 error code, add some salt to the water and stir it well.
6 Cleaning
6.1Safety Instructions for cleaning
• Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
• Leave the appliance to cool down completely.
• Make sure water does not enter the appliance. Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids during cleaning. Do not clean the appliance with a
pressurized water jet.
• Do not use any sharp or pointed, nor metal implements (knife, fork, etc.). Sharp
or pointed implements may damage the appliance, and when in contact with live
parts, they may cause electric shock.
• For cleaning, do not use any scouring agents that contain solvents nor corrosive
cleaning agents. They may damage the surface.

– Fix the supplied drain hose to the water drain
pipe (A) on the right side of the appliance.
– Place a suitable container under the drain
hose.
– Open the valve (B), by sliding it to 'OPEN'
mark (Fig. to the left).
– Wait for water to drain completely.

6.2 Cleaning
1. Clean the appliance thoroughly after each use.
2. Remove all food products from the basin.
3. Remove the frame and holder.
4. Clean the accessories and appliance lid thoroughly with warm water and a
gentle washing agent.
5. Rinse the cleaned elements in fresh water and dry.
6. After cooling, empty the basin by draining water through the drain hose (as
described above) or pour over the basin edge.
7. To drain the water through the drain hose, perform the following steps:
8. Clean the drained basin thoroughly with warm water, a soft cloth or a sponge
and a mild cleaning agent.
9. Rinse in fresh water.
10. Close the valve (B), by placing it again in the initial position.

To avoid clogging with impurities, a removable
filter is placed at the basin water outlet.
12. Remove this filter for cleaning.
13. After each use, wash the filter in warm
running water with a mild cleaning agent.
14. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

11. Always remember to keep the water inlet and outlet clean.
15. Leave the filter to dry in open air.
16. Refit the filter in the water inlet.
17. Dry the basin with dry, linen-free cloth.
18. Wipe the appliance housing with a soft, moist cloth.
Executing cleaning/descaling Process
1. Periodically (once a month) execute the cleaning/descaling process.
2. Fill the basin with fresh water above the 'MIN' mark and add appropriate amount
of commercially available descaling agent per each litre of water. Follow the
descaling agent manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging.
3. Set temperature to 40 °C and cooking time to 20 minutes.
4. Press Start/Stop key to start the cooking process (without food products).
5. When the set time elapses, pull the plug out of the socket.
6. Drain the descaling solution from the basin, using the drain hose or pouring over
the basin edge.
7. To end with, rinse the basin 2 - 3 times with fresh water or execute another
cleaning cycle with fresh water (without cleaning/descaling agents) to make sure
that the basin and water inlet and outlet are clean.

7 Possible malfunctions

malfunctions or errors during operation of the appliance. When malfunction cannot
be removed, contact the technical service.
In the appliance does not work:
1. Check the power cord to make sure it is properly connected to the socket.
2. Check the power cord for damages.
3. Check the socket by connecting another appliance.
4. Check if ON/OFF key is illuminated. If so, make sure it was pressed and held for
more than 1 second.
The digital display is on, but the appliance does not start the cooking process, and
the display shows an error code.
