Guarantee and Compensation
Barco provides a guarantee relating to p erfect manufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of guarantee. On receipt, the pu rchaser must immediately inspect all delivered goods for damage inc urred during transport, as well as for material and manufacturing faults Barco must be informed immediately in writing of any complaints.
The period of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of commissioning, at latest 30 days after the transfer of risks. In the event of justifie at its own discretion within an appropriate period. If this measure proves to be impossible or unsuccessful, the purchaser can demand a reduction in the purchase pr ice or cancellation of the contract. All o ther claims, in particular those relating to compensation for direct or indirect damage, and also damage attributed to the operation o of the system or independent service, will b e deemed invalid provided the damage is not proven to be attributed to the absence of properties guaranteed in writing or due to the intent or gross negligence or part of Barco.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out modications or repairs o n goods delivered by Barco, or if the goods are handled incorrectly, in particular if the systems are operated incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods a re subject to inuences not agreed upon in the contract, all guarantee claims of the purchaser will be rendered invalid. Not included in the guarantee co verage are system failures which are attributed to programs or special electronic circuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. interfaces. Normal wear as well as normal maintenance are not subject to the guarantee provided by Barco either.

About this Guide
The w ePresent SharePod is a unique pairing solution to wirelessly connect an HDMI source to a wePresent dev ice, enabling seam­less collaboration in meetings and classrooms.
Connecting an HDMI cable to the Share Pod allows full mirroring of audio and video from supported HDM I sources to a display or projector, without any software installation or other conguration required.
Furthermore, you can utilize the advance features on the wePrese nt device suc and Conference Control for better meeting room or classroom collaboration.

2.1 Auto Pairing
a. Supports wePresen t WiPG-1000, WiPG-1500, and WiPG-2000.
b. Ensure the wePresent device rmw are is upd ated to the latest version.
c. Average pairing time is 20 seconds.
Pairing Automatically
Plug in the micro USB cable f rom ShareP od to the wePresent device, and pairing will begin automatically. The SharePod LED will show a long ashing red light while pairing is in process. Please wait until you can see the “Pairing successful” message on the wePresent start screen, and then remove the USB cable to complete the pairing.

Plug in the micro USB cable f rom ShareP od to the wePresent device, and pairing will begin automatically. The SharePod LED will show a long ashing red light while pairing is in process. 3.1 SharePod Mirroring
SharePod Mirroring Instructions
1. After powering on the SharePod, it will then connect to the target wePresent device. The short blinking blue LED indicates the system is trying to connect to target wePresent device. It will s witch to static blue LED when it is connected.
2. Plug in the HDMI cable to the supported HDMI source, and mirroring will begin automatically if the wePresent device is in standby mode, or you can press the P L AY button to manually begin mirroring. The blue LED indicates that the system is ready for mirroring a nd it will switch to red LED whe n mirroring.
a. Please pair the SharePod with target wePresent device before the connection.
b. Please use the power adaptor to supply the power to SharePod device.
c. Supports HDMI 720p, 1080i/1080p.
d. Does not support HDCP content.
e. If interference causes the SharePod to stop the co nne ction to the wePresent, please press the button again to resume the connection.

3.2 Advanced Collaboration with wePresent
Advanced Collaboration
Conference Control: Choose the SharePod s creen from wePresent Web Conference Control pa ge or OSD to start the full screen/4-to-1 projection. The meeting host or teacher can moderate the meeting in an efcient way.
4-to-1 projection: If SharePod is rejected by Conference Control mode while pressing the Play button, the LED will switch to short blinking red LED to notify the user.4-to-1 projection: Choose the S harePod screen from wePresent Web Conference C ontrol page or OSD to start the 4-to-1 projection.
WebSlides: Broadcast and browse the SharePod screen from WebSlides page. This also allows saving a screenshot locally.
Annotation: Make annotation on SharePod screen from wePresent pen menu (if available) and save the screenshot to local USB drive.

1. Click on “Network Setup” option; it will show the network setting items.
- <IPSetup>: You can select “obtain IP ad dress automatically” or “ Use the following IP address” to manually enter the IP
address. The default setting is as follows:

IP Address: 192.168.100.10

Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
o
Default Gateway: 192.168.100.10
o
DNS Server: 192.168.100.10

4.5 WiFi Setup
WiFi Setup I nstructions
Wireless LAN: The default setting is “E nable”.
Connect to Existing AP: Press the “Scan” button to scan all available AP devices, and then select the WiFi AP to which you want to connect.
Encryption: Select “Disable” or one of WEP/WPA PSK/WPA2 PSK.
Key: If Encryption is enabled, you have to enter a key according to the encryption m ode you selected. (If the length o f the key entered is not sufcient or is too long, a warning message will appear.)
The Encryption and Key information must be consistent with the exiting AP conguration.

The WiFi 5G DFS band is not supported.
4.6 Change Passwords

1. Click on the “Change Password” option, and you can change the password setting for “Admin”.
- < Enter New Password >: (Length: up to 8 characters.)

Reset Instructions
1. Click on “Change Password” option, and you can change the password setting for “Ad min”.
- < Apply >: Conrm and take action.

Restore Factory Default
You can also restore factory default setting from SharePod box reset button. You can nd the reset button underneath the box. Please follow the proc edures below.
1. P ress [Reset] button and Hold.
2. Turn on wePresent SharePod box.

4.8 Firmware Upgrade
WARNING: Do not po we r off the wePresent SharePod while the rmware upgrade in progress, otherwise your
SharePod will be damaged and must be returned to the vendor for service and repair.
Firmware U pgrade Instructions
1. < F irm ware Version > < Release Date >: Shows the current rmware on the SharePod.
2. < Check for Update >: Check the latest rmware available on the server.
3. < Firmware Upgrade >:
a) First, download the most recent rmw are version available to you r local drive.
b) Click <Browse>to specify rmware le to which you want to upgrade.
c) Click < Upgrade > to start.
d) A warning messag e and count down counter will appear on the screen.
Do not power off the wePresent SharePod while the rmware upgrade in progress, otherwise your SharePod will be damaged and must be returned to the vendor for service and repair.

e) After a few minutes, a complete message will show on the screen.
